"Wait, so today is when the students from other kingdoms are going to start showing up for the Vytal Festival?" Sera asked with wide eyes. "I didn't think it'd be so soon!"
"They show up months in advance, for some reason," Yang shrugged.
"And they're showing up in the city of Vale today?" the amnesiac asked.
"Yeah?" Ruby said.
"We should go greet them!" Weiss ventured.
"Huh?" the rest of the team asked.
"You know! We should really give them a good Beacon welcome!" the heiress said.
"What's gotten into you?" Ruby raised an eyebrow. "I don't think I've ever seen you this upbeat. It's kind of freaking me out…"
"That's ridiculous!" Weiss exclaimed. "I'm upbeat!"
"When?" Yang deadpanned.
"Oh, you know!"
"No. We really don't," Blake said.
"Ugh, you're all impossible. Let's just go to the city already," Weiss crossed her arms.
"Do we have to?" Yang slumped her shoulders.
"Getting out of the school for a bit would be nice…" Ruby said.
"I'd like to see the city as well," Sera said.
"Aren't you from the City of Vale?" Blake asked.
"Uh, y-yeah! It's just been a long time since I've been there, since before the beginning of school!" Sera thought quickly. Yang and Blake shot each other a quick glance, and the amnesiac just barely saw it. 'Uh-oh,' she thought.
"Who cares? Are we going to Vale or not?" Weiss said impatiently.
"You just want to see the competition before the tournament," Blake noted.
"I would never!" Weiss turned to her.
"Oh, that's definitely why she wants to go," Ruby giggled.
"It's not a terrible idea, now that I think about it," Sera thought aloud. "We could at least see what these other students are like."
"It's settled then! We'll go into the city and greet the newcomers!" Weiss said, already grabbing her things.
"Since when are you in charge?" Ruby grumbled. But she hurried to get her stuff as well.
"Come on," Yang patted Blake on the shoulder with a grin on her face. "I know you like to just stay in and read, we all know this. But it's Friday, we're done with classes, and we don't have anything to do! So, let's enjoy a day out on the town!"
"Yeah!" Weiss cheered.
"Team RWBY style!" Ruby raised her fist into the air.
"It could be fun," Sera shrugged.
"…Fine," Blake rolled her eyes, suppressing a smirk on her lips. 'And I can see how Sera reacts to the city…' she thought to herself.
. . .
The five students wandered through the streets of Vale and took in the sights. The entire city was decorated in preparation for the Vytal Festival. Streetlamps were covered in ribbons, and flags hung from the buildings with designs related to the festival.
Sera was amazed by how huge and gorgeous the city was. Everywhere she looked, she saw pristine buildings and concrete that's been well maintained, without a single piece of trash in the streets or on the sidewalk. Surprisingly enough, there weren't that many pedestrians out and about. Just a handful every now and then, and…
"What happened there?" the amnesiac asked, pointing to a wrecked shop with yellow tape all over it. Broken glass lay on the sidewalk from what remained of the windows and the doors were broken on the ground. Several police officers stood in the front, examining the crime scene.
"I dunno," Yang replied. "So, let's go take a closer look!"
Once they got close enough to overhear what a couple of detectives were saying, the huntresses stopped to listen in.
"—Dust robbery. But they left the money again," one detective said.
"Who the hell robs a store and leaves the money?" the other detective asked.
"Beats me," the first detective said. "Whatever reason it is, it seems like they need a LOT of Dust for whatever they're planning. I don't like it."
"Feels like a storm's about to blow over," the second detective agreed.
"Well, that doesn't sound very good," Sera commented, and the detectives turned in her direction.
"What are you kids doing here? This is a crime scene," one of them said.
"We're huntresses! What happened here?" Ruby lied.
A detective scoffed. "Huntresses in training, more like. Just another robbery, nothing for you all to concern yourselves with."
"Who did it?" Weiss asked.
"We're not sure. Some think it's the White Fang."
Weiss scoffed, gaining a sour look from Blake. "What about Roman Torchwick?" Ruby asked.
"That's who others think it might be," the detective said. Weiss walked away in a huff, and her team looked at each other with confused glances.
"You guys take care," Sera told the detectives before following her teammate.
"Stay safe!" Yang added. The detectives waved in thanks while they hurried after Weiss.
"Weiss, what's wrong with you?" Ruby asked.
"Hmph, the White Fang," she replied. "What a sorry bunch of degenerate criminals."
"What's your problem?" Blake narrowed her eyes.
"I simply do not care for the criminally insane," Weiss responded.
"It's not like they're a bunch of psychopaths!" Blake seethed.
"They might as well be! Terrorizing and preying on innocent people all for the sake of 'equality.' If you ask me, they deserve to rot," Weiss threw back.
"They're a collection of misguided Faunus!" Blake replied.
"They want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet!"
"So then they're very misguided!"
Now, Sera didn't know too much about the White Fang. From what she's seen in news reports and heard from other students, they're basically a terrorist organization entirely comprised of Faunus. Years ago, they were all about peaceful protests to get their point across, fighting for true equality for the Faunus. Now, they resort to much more "creative" ways to spread their message. And she hated to admit it, but she leaned more towards Weiss's side. The White Fang were criminals.
"That doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum!" the heiress balled her fists.
"Settle down, you two!" Sera got between them. "What has gotten into both of you?"
"They're misunderstood!" Blake ignored the amnesiac.
"They're criminals!" Weiss repeated. "All they do is lie, steal, and hurt those that don't deserve it!" Weiss stamped her foot.
"That's not entirely true…" Yang said.
Then, a new voice shouted from off to their left. "Somebody stop that Faunus!"
They all turned to see a boy with spiky blond hair in a white unbuttoned shirt sprinting from the docks and towards them. Judging by the yelling of the dock workers, he was apparently a stowaway that had jumped ship when they saw him.
When he got closer, Sera could see a yellow monkey tail moving behind him. The Faunus grinned and ran straight through the team of huntresses, winking at Blake as he passed.
"Well Weiss, you wanted to see the competition, and there it goes," Yang noted.
"Quick! We have to observe him!" the heiress said, then the five of them gave chase to the monkey-tailed Faunus. They followed him through several streets and around corners, but he outran all of them. Sera was about to suggest that Ruby use her speed semblance to catch him, but before she could, they turned a corner and ran straight into someone else. Weiss ran headfirst into them and crashed to the ground.
Weiss picked her head up just in time to see the boy climb up a building and disappear over the roof.
"No, he got away!" she pounded her fist against the concrete.
"Uh… Weiss?" Ruby pointed down. The heiress looked down to see a girl with orange hair, bright green eyes, and a strange smile on her face below her. Weiss immediately jumped up and away from her with a startled expression.
"Sal-u-tations!" the girl waved, still on the ground.
"Uh… hi?" Sera said uncertainly.
"Are you okay?" Yang asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I am absolutely wonderful! Thank you for asking," she nodded enthusiastically.
"Are you…gonna get up?" Sera asked. What a strange girl.
After a moment's thought, the girl nodded. "Yes!" Then she sprung to her feet. "My name is Penny! It's a pleasure to meet you!"
"Uh… hi, Penny," Sera gave a small wave.
"I'm Ruby!" Ruby greeted.
"I'm Weiss," Weiss said.
"Blake," Blake stated.
"Are you sure you didn't hit your head or something?" Yang asked, then Sera elbowed her. "Oh, I'm Yang."
"It's a pleasure to meet you!" Penny greeted.
"You already said that," Sera raised an eyebrow.
"…So I did!" Penny said, still upbeat.
"Well, sorry for running into you," Weiss said before turning away from her.
"Take care, friend!" Ruby waved, then the rest of RWBY followed.
"What about the Faunus?" Sera asked.
"Oh, right!" Weiss said.
Once they were out of earshot, Yang turned to her teammates. "What was with that girl? She was…weird."
"She must not get out much," Sera shrugged.
Then the strange girl was suddenly in front of them, and they all jumped back in surprise.
"What did you call me?" she asked genuinely.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't think you heard us!" Yang apologized.
"No, not you," Penny stepped up to Ruby. "You."
"Me?" Ruby stammered, confused.
"You called me 'friend!' Are you really my friend?" she asked.
Behind Penny, the other members of RWBY were violently shaking their heads. Sera thought that was a bit rude, but then again, she couldn't really blame them.
"Uh… Yes?" Ruby said.
Penny laughed with glee and raised her arms to the sky. "SEN-sational! We can paint our nails, and try on clothes, and talk about cute boys!"
"What cute boys?" Sera muttered.
"Is this what it was like when you met me?" Ruby murmured to Weiss.
"No, she seems way more coordinated," Weiss replied.
"So… what are you doing in Vale?" Yang asked, trying to change the subject.
"I'm here to fight in the tournament!" Penny replied cheerily.
"Wait, you?" Sera asked.
Penny saluted to them. "I'm combat ready!"
"If you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that Faunus we were chasing?" Weiss asked.
"Who?" Penny blinked.
"That filthy monkey-tailed Faunus from the boat!"
"That's kinda racist," Sera said.
"It's very racist," Blake crossed her arms.
"I can't help that he's a miscreant!" Weiss said.
"Why do you keep saying that?" Blake demanded. "Stop calling him filthy! Stop calling him a degenerate! He's a person!"
"Oh, I'm sorry! Would you like me to stop referring to the trashcan as a trashcan, or a car as a car?" she asked.
"Oh, my gods, Weiss is a racist," Sera murmured.
"Would you stop it!" Blake clenched her fists.
"Stop what? The guy very clearly broke the law—he's a stowaway! I bet he's on his way to join up with the rest of the degenerates in the White Fang," Weiss replied.
Despite it all, Blake chuckled, her eyes scanning something above them. "Fucking Schnees. An entire family of self-absorbed brats."
"What did you say?" Weiss demanded. "How dare you talk to me like that!"
"You're a judgmental brat with her head shoved so far up her own ass that you can't see that you are!" Blake said angrily. "The fact alone that you would throw that Faunus guy in with the White Fang based on his species alone makes you just as much as a degenerate as you believe him to be!"
"Excuse me?" Weiss said.
"Uh… maybe we should stop them," Sera said to Yang and Ruby.
"Or get out of here," Yang suggested.
"Where are we going?" Penny asked.
"Away," Sera said, liking the idea of just leaving. Unfortunately, when they tried to slip away, Blake and Weiss just followed them and kept arguing.
"So you admit that they're a terrorist organization!" Weiss said.
"That's not what I meant, and you know it!" Blake said.
"How long can they keep this up for?" Ruby asked.
"Hopefully not long," Sera replied. They kept walking through the streets of Vale, trying to enjoy the sights as best as they could with a pair of arguing girls behind them. Ruby finally managed to convince Penny to go on without them, because they'd be heading back to their dorm to take Blake and Weiss back.
Sera didn't want to go back yet. She wanted to stay and enjoy the city. Maybe even stop by a few stores or something. But sadly, Yang basically dragged her back to campus because they wouldn't let her stay by herself.
"I can take care of myself!" Sera complained.
"You don't even have your weapon!" Yang had said.
"I could borrow yours!"
"Definitely not happening," Yang grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her along.
"I just want to go shopping!"
"The stores will be closing soon anyway!" the blond rebutted.
"It's not even dark yet!" Sera tried to pull her arm free. "Please? I just want to look around!"
Yang halted, coming to a realization. This was a good opportunity to check up on some of her contacts about the whereabouts of her mother. She looked back at her white-haired teammate still trying to free her arm, putting a plan together in her head.
"Fine," the blond let go, and Sera fell backwards and onto her rear.
"Huh?" she blinked.
"We can go look through a couple places for a few minutes. Then we head back to Beacon. Deal?" Yang reached out.
"Deal," Sera took her hand and was pulled to her feet. Then Yang led her through the city and to a street that was filled with bustling shops. "Oh, yeah, I remember this street," she lied, remembering how Yang and Blake had looked at each other earlier that morning.
"Good, then you'll be fine if I leave you here for a minute," Yang said.
"Huh?" Sera blinked. "Two seconds ago, you wouldn't leave me behind. Now all of a sudden, you want to leave me alone here?"
"It'll only be for like five minutes," Yang said. "I have to go check something. Think you can manage to not get mugged, Snowball?"
"I think I'll be fine, Blondie," she rolled her eyes. "Then again, the unarmed, aura-less civilians are looking VERY dangerous on this busy street on the extremely nice side of town."
"…You ever put a limit on all the shit that flies out of your mouth, or do you just let it happen?"
"I do, actually. I've got like three more sarcastic comments I can say today before I hit my limit and vaporize on the spot," Sera replied.
"I think I hate you," Yang laughed.
"Do something about it, Blondie-blond."
Yang shook her head, put on a pair of aviator sunglasses, then left her there. Sera blinked and watched her go.
"So, I guess we'll just meet back here then in, like, whenever. Ready, team? Break," she rolled her eyes and made her way down the shopping district street.
Five minutes later, she was looking through racks full of clothing in a large and pristine white store. She liked the clothes Qrow had picked out for her, but she wanted to see if she could find something on her own.
Sera pushed clothes aside on the racks, searching each individual style of clothing. She picked out a strange black school-type uniform with a golden chain attached at the left collar. It had a matching black pair of pants and hat with golden pins attached to it. The amnesiac pictured herself wearing it, then put it back. "Bizarre," she commented.
She pulled out a long, red leather coat that was semi-identical to her white one. Her eyes wandered over to a set of red tank tops and black pants. Then she put the coat back. "Nope—red's not my color."
The amnesiac searched through several more areas in the store and saw many different types of clothing. She saw a lot of stuff she wished she had time to try on, but that would have to wait for another day. Instead, she mainly just grabbed some clothes she already knew was her style—extra tank tops, T-shirts, and crop tops in violet, white, and black, and a few pairs of white or black pants. Sera even grabbed an interesting pair of gloves. She made a mental note to come back to this store.
Then Sera patted her pockets to make sure she had the Lien that Qrow had given her.
When she was about to check out, a rack on the counter full of sunglasses caught her eye, and a grin spread across her face.
. . .
After several minutes of waiting in the spot that Yang had left her at, the amnesiac sighed and made her way down the street that the blond had went. She spent several more minutes walking and searching for her teammate—and she was already tired of carrying her bags around.
Sera made her way down another street, stopping to look at the sign with the street's name.
"Aw man, 'Iguana Street?' Am I gonna get mugged?" she asked aloud.
Finally, she came to a nightclub with flashing lights at the entrance—the only interesting location down the entire street.
"That seems like a very 'Yang' place to be," she thought aloud, then went inside. Thankfully, she could put her shopping bags in a locker near the entrance. The security guard in the black suit and red suit and sunglasses assured her they'd be safe.
She asked him if he's seen a person fitting Yang's description, and with a rather nervous expression, he said he did.
After getting the info she wanted, Sera headed further inside. Through another door, the nightclub opened up into a gigantic room with red flashing lights on the walls, ceiling, and on every square pillar in the room. Large square tiles of light covered the floorThose red security guards were all over the place, and a guy with a red teddy bear head worked as the DJ on a podium.
A flash of yellow caught her eye, and she saw Yang down by the bar. She was the only yellow in the entire club. As she got closer, the amnesiac saw that Yang seemed to be talking to some guy in a suit vest with short black hair and neatly trimmed short beard.
"Yang!" she called, and the light drained out of the blonde's eyes when she turned to see her.
"Oh, hey, Sera! What're you doing here? I thought we were meeting back in the shopping district," she said.
"We were, but you were taking too long," she joined her teammate at the bar. "Better question is what are you doing in a nightclub?" Then she looked at the bartender and tapped the bar. "Pumpkin Pete's Sugar Blast on the rocks," she said, completely unsure of what else to order. The only kind of brand beverage she's had is Pumpkin Pete's, but she's been meaning to try that People Like Grapes soda that she's been seeing advertisements for. Plus, she did wake up with a bottle cap belonging to that kind of drink.
"Beat it, kid," the bartender told her.
"Cool it, Junior," Yang said to him, then gestured for him to give her the soda. He slid it down the bar and into Sera's hand, and she popped the cap on the glass bottle and took a swig. "I'm looking for info," the blond told her teammate.
"Info, huh? On what?"
"Not your business," Yang said, her expression serious.
"Uh-huh," Sera took another drink. "Does your sister know you're out in nightclubs 'looking for information?'"
"Actually, funny story—" Yang started.
"Blondie, it's bad enough to have you in here, but it's another thing to have her. You know minors aren't allowed in the club," the guy Junior said. He snapped his fingers, and suddenly a pair of older-looking girls appeared at the huntress' sides.
"You got a problem, Junior? Or do I need to remind you what happened last time I was in here?" Yang asked, slamming her fist onto the bar and effectively cracking it.
'Well,' Sera thought as she nonchalantly drank her soda. 'This isn't Yang's first rodeo.' I
"I think you'll find that it won't quite pan out like it did last time," Junior said, then nodded in the direction to his right. Several of the "security guards" suddenly pulled out tube-like weapons and held them on their shoulder, aiming at Sera and Yang.
"Freakin' rocket launchers?" Yang asked.
"You're gonna blow up the club as a scare tactic?" Sera quirked an eyebrow.
"What can I say, we had to make a few upgrades," Junior smirked.
"What the hell are these guys on?" Sera asked. "What did you do?"
"Cool it, Snowball," Yang said to her. "I got this. They wouldn't dream of attacking me again." Sera shrugged and raised the bottle to her lips to take another drink, but then Junior said something he'd soon regret.
"Yeah, 'Snowball,' cool it. The grown-ups are talking," Junior said.
"What did you call me?" she looked over at him. 'What the hell? I could use some real life human-on-human combat practice. Real thugs and all that,' she thought with a smirk.
"Oh, great," Yang put her hand to her forehead.
"I said the grown-ups are talking, Snowb—" Junior started, but then was suddenly interrupted by an empty bottle slamming into his jaw, shattering on impact. Junior crashed into the low wall beside him and fell to the floor.
"Boss!" one of the thugs cried.
"What the hell!" Sera turned to them and straightened her white coat, then raised her fists into a fighting pose. "You guys want a party? Then let's get it started!"
. . .
Chaos.
That's what ensued after Sera hit Junior with her bottle. In hindsight, she probably should have taken into account that she didn't have her sword with her. Too late now.
Immediately, the thugs fired their rockets in her and Yang's direction, splintering the bar and destroying the chairs. She and Yang evaded in opposite directions and tackled the strange girls in the process. They both had long black hair, but each wore different colored dresses—one in white and the other in crimson.
Before the girl in crimson could recover, Sera punched her across the face. Her aura took the brunt of the attack, but it gave her enough time for the amnesiac to hop over the bar and brace her back against the wall. After a moment, Yang joined her with her golden gauntlets ready to attack.
"Great plan," Yang huffed. "Attack my informant and have the entire nightclub shoot at us with rockets. What were you thinking?"
"That guy pissed me off," Sera replied, looking past Yang and at the unconscious guy laying on the floor.
"That's what he does! He pisses you off, but I always get the information I need!" Yang told her. Another explosion rocked the bar and Sera thought it was gonna break.
"What information could you possibly need from these goons?" she asked.
"Told you it was none of your business," Yang said defensively.
"Fine," Sera sighed. "How are we gonna get out of here?"
"I thought you'd know since you were the one who hit these guys' boss in the face with a bottle!" the blond peeked over the bar. "Ah, crap."
"What?" Sera asked.
"They called in reinforcements."
"Oh, great! More thugs to beat up," the amnesiac lifted her head to look over the bar as well.
"And how are you gonna do that? Punch them all in the face like Miltia?"
"Was that her name?" she asked. "She went down easy."
"They're not that tough," Yang shrugged. "Anyways, how are we getting out of here?"
Sera thought for a moment as she watched the dozens of gang members in the nightclub. Several of them were using the rocket launchers while the rest of them were packing black and red machetes or simple handguns. Not much of an arsenal.
"Okay, basically, we make a run for it," she said.
Yang raised her eyebrows. "You want to run?"
"You wanna fight all of these guys? That'll take, like, forever. No, we jump out, clear just the area by the bar, then make our way to the exit. Cops are probably on their way here now anyway."
"Doubtful," Yang shrugged. "They generally don't come to this side of Vale."
"Well, whatever. I'll grab one of those guys' weapons when we jump over. Okay, ready?" she asked.
"Hold on!" Yang turned to the side and reached under the bar, then pulled out a large metal baseball bat with a red button on the handle. "Use this—it's Junior's."
"Uh, okay," Sera took the bat. "A bit brash, but it'll do."
"Let's go!" she leaped over the bar. Sera followed, vaulting over and slamming the bat into a thug's chest. The guy grunted as he flew backwards and into one of his comrades. Yang went to work, delivering a series of punches and kicks to the enemy gang members. Her Ember Celica sent explosive rounds to take out the guys with rocket launchers, and soon enough, no more missiles were flying through the air.
Sera ducked under a swing from a machete and elbowed its owner in the gut. When he doubled over, she grabbed him by the coat and threw him into a nearby pillar. The guy crumpled to the ground and let out a groan.
Pretty soon, several unconscious bodies lay across the floor from the combined huntress' assault. Sera looked to her teammate, and Yang pointed at the door.
"Let's go!" she said. Then the pair of strange girls stood in their way with ticked off expressions.
"Melanie. Miltia," Yang said. "Been a while."
"How many times are you going to wreck our bar?" the one in the white dress complained.
"As many times as it takes until I get what I'm looking for," Yang replied.
"You wrecked the place before, too?" Sera asked.
"Long story," the blond said. "Hit that button on the bat and shoot at the ground between them." she whispered.
"What?" Sera asked, then she clicked the button. The metal bat transformed in her hands until she was holding a long missile launcher. After a moment of processing, Sera aimed the tube and pulled the trigger before the Malachite sisters could realize what was happening. The missile blew them in separate directions, then she and Yang made a run for it.
At the last second, Sera remembered her stuff in the locker, and she dropped the bat to carry the shopping bags once they'd made it near the exit.
"Really?" Yang laughed.
"What? I wasn't going to leave the stuff I just bought!"
Yang rolled her eyes.
After ten minutes of running and they were sure no one was following them, they slowed to a stop. Sera bent over and rested her hands on her knees, panting heavily from all the running they'd just done.
"Think we lost 'em?" she asked.
"Probably," Yang panted. "Those guys are kinda incompetent."
"I could tell," Sera said. "Bottom of the barrel goons." Yang laughed and returned Ember Celica to its bracelet form.
"Now that we're away from there, are you going to tell me what you were doing in that nightclub with those guys?" Sera asked her, hooking her thumb in the direction of the club.
Yang's face soured. "It's no—"
"None of my business, I know," Sera waved her off. "But I think I deserve an answer since I just got shot at and fought off a bunch of thugs because of you."
"That was your own fault!" Yang pointed at her.
"That's besides the point!" Sera crossed her arms. "What information are you looking for that you need to go into a gang bar to get?" Yang sighed and brought a hand to her face.
"If you don't tell me, I'm just going to bother you until you do," said Sera.
"Fine," the brawler said. "I'm looking for my mom."
"Your mom?" she raised her eyebrows. "Why would you need to look for your mom?"
"Long story."
"I'm guessing that your mom must not be Ruby's mom, unless Ruby just isn't that concerned about it," Sera deduced.
"No, Ruby and I are half-sisters," Yang replied.
'I wish Qrow would've mentioned that,' the amnesiac thought to herself.
"All right," she nodded. "You're looking for your mom, who I'm assuming must be with some bad company if you're using criminals to try and find her."
Yang shrugged. "They're good at finding information, for the right price."
"You actually pay them?"
"Of course not. I threaten to send them to the hospital," she raised her clenched fist with a fierce grin.
"Naturally."
"Are we done yet? I told you what you were so eager to find out," the brawler spread her arms.
"What's she like?" Sera asked, her tone genuine.
"Huh?" Yang said. The question seemed to take her off-guard.
"Your mom—what's she like?"
"I wouldn't know," she clenched her fists, but not at Sera. "I've never met her."
"Then why do you want to find her so bad?" the amnesiac asked. Her voice came out much softer than she meant for it to.
Yang didn't answer. She averted her lilac eyes and remained quiet.
"You don't have to respond," Sera said. She felt for Yang. She already knew what Yang wanted, because it's the same thing she wants—answers. "All right, I want to help you."
"What?" the blond asked.
"You heard me—I want to help."
"Why?"
Sera sighed and put a hand on her hip. "Let's just say I know what it's like."
Yang blinked. "Oookay. Well, before you barged in and brought the place down, Junior told me that he still doesn't have anything for me."
"So, what now?" Sera asked.
"I don't know. Besides Junior, I've got no other leads. Not even my uncle knows where she is."
Sera thought for a moment. She considered telling her that she knew Qrow. Before she could, Yang bumped their shoulders together. "Hey, don't worry about it. It's not your problem to deal with."
"Maybe not, but we're a team, right? 'Sposed to help each other," Sera smirked and lightly punched her shoulder.
"Thanks," Yang smiled lightly.
"Ah, don't worry about it," Sera waved her off.
"No, really," the blond said.
"Whatever, don't think about it too hard," the amnesiac chuckled. "Let's just get back to the room already, I'm freakin' tired."
Yang laughed and patted the white-haired girl on the back. "If you say so, partner."
