Boarding the aircraft Sayu's eyes darted to the ticket that was handed to her as her eyes squinted to read the small print. "Where are our seats?" Beyond raised an eyebrow and set a gentle hand on the middle of her back and ushered her towards the front of the plane. Flicking her golden eyes up toward where she was being nudged. "Oh! I've never flown in first class before!"
"Usually no kids up there. Not many families want to pay first class prices for kids, and the few that do… usually the kid is pretty good." The stewardesses smiled briefly towards each other at the two as they entered the front of the plane.
Sayu's eyes darted around the spacious cabin noting the variety of seating. Some were seats that were nearly fully reclined, some solo seats with a large armrest or table, a small section of secluded seats in a row and a small section of dual seating. Feeling two warm hands on her shoulders she was jerked to a stop and turned. "Here?" The raven smirked and nodded as she stepped into the dual seating and took her seat next to the window. "You know? We never went back for any of our stuff, all my clothes are still at my brother's house. I'll have to buy more clothes."
Beyond's scarlet eyes never left his phone's screen. "So be it. Do you have much money? I know you're a big girl," his eyes departed his screen as he sent her a teasing smirk, "but if you need help affording anything, let me know."
"Fine." She playfully folded her arms and stuck her tongue out. His smirk softened to a smile which made her crinkle her nose. "Just… promise me you're not being nice to me because I'm Light's little sister."
Beyond huffed out a small laugh. "If anything, I'd be mean to you for that reason." She rolled her eyes and sighed deeply. He sighed and held up three fingers. "First of all, I promised I'd take care of you. I think that kind of signs me up to financially take care of you." He dropped his ring finger. "Second of all, you're hot and fun, there is literally no reason for me not to be nice to you." He dropped his index finger leaving only his middle finger up. "And third of all." His eyes flicked to his middle finger while chuckling at her as she gasped before starting to laugh as well.
"Careful, I might take that as an invitation."
Raising his eyebrows as a sharp smirk formed on his lips. "Oh. It wasn't an obvious enough one?" Sayu bit her bottom lip as the captain addressed the flight.

L smirked at Sayu's social media update with a picture of her and Beyond in the airport then another selfie in the airplane. "Light, breathe, he'll take care of her." The brunette stopped pacing in the center of the room and stared at L in disbelief. "She seems happy in the pictures."
"I cannot believe you didn't let me go with you. I'm not sure what's worse! That, or just letting them leave!" He continued to pace in frustration.
Sighing out while rolling his ashen eyes. "I think I see why she left." The brunette stopped pacing once again. "Look at yourself. How would you feel if someone was acting the way you do towards Sayu, but directed at you? You certainly didn't take kind to it when it was your father, so why do you get to treat your sister that way?" L grinned as he tossed his phone at Light. "She's fine."
Light scrolled through a few pictures on the phone that displayed her social media page. He paused on a picture of Sayu pressed against a large window with a huge smile, fluffy snowflakes on the exterior, the caption reading: 'New York is so pretty!' His eyes glanced up to the album's name: "Journey To America!" The album was already filled with pictures of the plane, the food, a couple skyline shots from the air and another from presumably a hotel of New York's nighttime skyline.
He flipped through a few more pictures while wrinkling his nose at some more pictures with Sayu and Beyond, one in particular titled 'plane delayed, movie night before more flying!'. More glamor shots of expensive looking food, before more pictures of more airline travel. Releasing a discontented sigh, Light held L's phone back out to him. "For now."

A darker complexioned young woman stood holding a sign with mild disinterest, neon colored braids fell over her earbuds, her hazel eyes trained on her phone screen. As the gate opened, her eyes flicked upwards and she picked the sign up to hold it straight. She hopped excitedly, waving her free hand, as Beyond came into view.
His scarlet eyes lifted to her and he audibly groaned. Sayu peeked around him at the energetic woman. "Hmm?" Her sign read, 'idiot' written in glitter and more neon colors.
He sighed loudly. "That is Nelly. She will hit on you. But, she's harmless." They approached the excited young woman as she gave pause to the presence of Sayu, craning her head around the raven.
"Hold up. You went to your brother's place?" Beyond nodded as her eyes suspiciously shifted back towards Sayu. She then pointed at Sayu. "And brought back a bonafide hottie? Excuse you!" She extended her hand out to Sayu. "Hey, cutie! I'm Janelle, all my friends call me Nelly." Sayu excitedly shook her hand which caused Nelly to smile brightly. "Oh, she's too cute for you, I'll take her off your hands."
"Absolutely not. Did you bring my car like I asked?" Beyond shoved his hands in his pockets before gasping as Sayu hopped on his back and giggled, causing Nelly to cackle. Beyond smirked as he stabilized Sayu onto his back as Nelly led them out of the airport.
Nelly eyed the couple before snapping a picture with her phone. "No other luggage? You didn't disappear on him again, did you?"
Beyond rolled his scarlet eyes as he bounced a distracted Sayu upwards to secure her better on his back. "No, he knew I was leaving this time. I mean, I did steal his sister in law."
Laughing loudly, Nelly unlocked a black sedan as they approached it in the parking lot. "Ooh, I see." Beyond squatted down a bit so Sayu could touch the ground. "Girl, give me your number, that way you can call me if you ever need backup! He can be a real creep every once in a while."
Beyond scoffed as he opened the driver's door, holding it hand up for the keys to be tossed to him. Sayu chuckled as they traded phones after Nelly tossed the raven the vehicle keys. "No, if anything, I'm the creep. I basically invited myself to his house." Entering their contact information into each other's phones, they swapped their devices back. "Oh! Can I get a picture with you?"
"Girl, bet!" They both held up their phones and quickly took a selfie before climbing in the backseat together while giggling. "Oh! Do you have Insta?" Sayu quickly nodded and sent Nelly the link to her Instagram. "Oh. My. God! You're so fucking cute!"
Sayu scrolled through Nelly's pictures after following her. "You're so pretty! Will you show me how to do eye makeup like yours in some of these?" Beyond chuckled at the girls in the back seat quietly as he rolled his eyes.
After driving quietly for a while, Nelly leaned forward and rested her chin on the shoulder rest of the front seat. "So, you just steal girls now?"
The raven chuckled lightheartedly. "Now, hold on, don't follow that train. She's actually pretty fun to be around. That, and, pissing her brother off has become my new favorite hobby. I'm sure he's seething."
Nelly's honey colored eyes drifted to a sleeping Sayu. "Well, she's definitely cute. So, the brother… is your brother's husband?" Her eyes flicked up towards the driver.
"Yeah. Now that you say it out loud, makes it a little weird…"
"Jesus, Beyond!" She playfully hit his shoulder.
"Hey! When I want your opinion on my choices, I'll ask. Wouldn't want you to end up unemployed."
She held her hands up and sat back in the seat as she crossed her legs, drifting her eyes back towards Sayu. "She seems so innocent."
"A clever disguise. Trust me. However, definitely sheltered."
Nelly gave a small lopsided smile as she set a gentle hand on Sayu's shoulder. "Wakey wakey, we're here. You missed the bridge."
Sayu shot up with a snort and a groan, she groggily spoke as she rubbed her eyes. "Oh noo! I wanted to take pictures!"
Beyond turned the key to kill the engine and fished his wallet out. "She'll need to go shopping. There was a situation before we left and she doesn't have anything here. Nelly, would you go with her?" He handed a black card back to the pair of girls.
Inspecting the card, her eyes lifted back up to her long time friend. "Damn Romeo, you sure you don't just want to go?"
Beyond silently tapped on his phone screen before grumbling irritatedly. "No. I have things I need to take care of. While you're out, make sure you guys do some grocery shopping."
Resting her hand on her chest. "Excuse you? I'm not your assistant."
"Nope. You sure are not. You're my best friend. You get paid better." He exited the vehicle as he lifted his cell phone up to his ear before scolding someone on the other line.
"Tch! What a jerk!" She chuckled as she smiled at Sayu. Wanna try to max his card out?" Sayu smirked deviously and pinched the card away from Nelly. "Oh yeah, I see what he means."
Sayu's eyes lifted immediately to three well tended rows of small lime trees as she exited the backseat of the car. "Whoa!"
While climbing out, Nelly chuckled and leaned against the car, once she was fully out of the backseat, next to Sayu. "Yeah, dweeb grows his own limes. Let's get going girl!" Sayu laughed while taking a photo of the trees. As she turned her eyes flicked upwards towards a grand Spanish style villa. Nelly's eyes followed Sayu's stunned gaze. "Oh yeah, nine bedrooms, five bathrooms, two kitchens, one Beyond. Let's goooo, dote on the house later! He never lets me out with his credit card!"
Sayu shook her head and smiled brightly at Nelly before jogging over to the passenger door and pulling it open. They both sat into the vehicle and giggled as the car tore into the streets of Key West, Florida.
