"Gotta job for you, Princess." Laroy said through the phone as Talia sat at the bar sandwiched between Chibs and Juice.
"What's up?"
"Few of my boys got caught handling business by some stupid girl. She recorded the whole thing on her phone, then ran home to Charming. If this thing goes to trial, we're all gonna be in lockup, so I need her to get gone."
"You gotta name?"
"Violet Hansley." Talia told Larory to give her a minute, then pulled out her pocket laptop. She ran the name and found a match belonging to a 16-year-old girl that lived in Charming like he said. "You do this and I'll pay double your usual amount, need it done quick though."
"You want her gone or in a ditch?"
"In a ditch." He confirmed. "Can't take any chances with this one."
"Gimme a few days and I'll have it done." Talia told him and he thanked her before she ended the call.
She looked up Violet's address on her pocket laptop and Juice leaned over to see what she was doing, telling her the name of the neighborhood. She asked both he and Chibs if they wanted to help her on this one and Juice said he had Club shit he had to get to, but the Scotsman was free to assist. She explained what they were going to do and why and promised Chibs a cut of the money Larory would reward her with once the job was done. Chibs had no problems or questions with anything, so she told him to keep tomorrow free and load up his favorite gun for their mission.

It was the day after Talia's hit and everything went smoothly. They broke into Violet's house around midnight and Talia put a bullet through the girl's head before wrapping her in a blanket and stowing her body in the back of the Club's van while Chibs was waiting in the driver's seat. She directed him to a spot where she and Tig usually went to burn corpses and torched the remains of Violet at around 2 AM. Talia spent the next hour cleaning the back of the van to make sure no bloodstains remained, then she crashed at the Clubhouse. Larory was informed the next morning and had her pay waiting for her, so she made a solo trip to Oakland to pickup the money, setting some aside for Chibs.
When Talia was getting back to Charming, the Sons were about to attend Church and she managed to stop Chibs before he went into the Chapel doors to pay him, sparking the intrigue of Jax. He asked what the money was for and Chibs informed his VP of his activities last night with Talia. Since then, Jax has been looking at Happy with a certain look in his eyes that was starting to annoy the Nomad beyond reason, but he waited until Church was over before speaking up.
"You gotta problem with my daughter, VP?" Happy finally said something to the blond and Jax put his cigarette out before addressing the man.
"When she's running around putting a bullet in the head of another teenage girl, yeah, I do." Jax spat back and Happy's eyes narrowed in the dangerous way they did when his trigger finger got itchy. "What if Hayleigh was in the same situation, Hap? Talia would just pull the trigger and walk away like nothing happened?"
"Hayleigh's smart enough to know not to snitch to the fuckin' cops."
Talia, overhearing the conversation, rolled her eyes before asking Tig, "Is he really butthurt about that hit?"
"Jax doesn't approve of what people like us do, Tal. He's always been like that." Tig honestly told her. "Prince Charming is too good to get his hands dirty."
"I don't understand how he has that goddamn patch if he's not totally dedicated."
"You and me both, angel."
The pair watched as Happy and Jax went back and fourth with each other and Talia rolled her eyes at how immature the crowned Prince was being over something that didn't even involve him. All the Sons knew what she and Happy did for a living and this time was no different, yet Jax was whining because he suddenly had a moral compass.
Talia remembered that she brought her guitar to the clubhouse a few days ago and grabbed it from the side of the sofa next to the Chapel doors. She strummed it a few times until the song she was trying to remember popped into her head.
"La da da da da,
I'm gonna bury you in the ground
La da da da da,
I'm gonna bury you with my sound
I'm gonna drink the red
from your stupid blue-eyed face
I'm gonna
rid you of this world and from my mind, erase"
"She's too wild, Hap." Jax irritably said to the Nomad. "She's reckless, impulsive and she's gonna get us into some deep shit we don't need to be in. Nobody has control over her."
"I can handle my fucking daughter, Jax." Happy nearly growled at Jax. "She knows what she's doing and she doesn't get into shit that's way over her head."
Jax shook his head in disbelief at Happy while Talia was still singing her song. Juice and Tig were the closest to her and were snickering at her words.
"Sorry I don't treat you like a crowned prince
Is that what you want me to do?
Sorry I don't treat you like you're perfect,
like all your little loyal whores do
Sorry I'm not made of sugar,
Am I not sweet enough for you?
Is that why you have it out for me?
That must be such an inconvenience to you
Well, I'm just your problem
I'm just your problem
It's like I'm not even a person, am I?
I'm just your problem"
"Oh, boy." Bobby shook his head as he listened to Talia's song and the words finally caught Jax's attention.
"Well, I shouldn't have to justify what I do
I shouldn't have to explain anything to you
I do what needs to be done and being sinister's kinda fun
But I shouldn't have to be the one that makes up with you
So, I'll do what I want to
I'll do what I want to
'Cause, pretty boy, I don't care about your feelings
I'll be over here strumming my guitar
The things I do tend to send you reeling
And it's because I'm more of a man than you are"
"Blow me, Talia." He flipped the girl off, but she smiled at him.
"Not my style, Jackie boy. Call Ima, see if she doesn't already have a dick down her throat."
"Jax, Chapel." Clay interjected before his stepson could say something else. "Talia, I need a minute." Talia passed her guitar to Tig before stepping into the Chapel. When she got into the secret room, Jax's eyes were pinned on hers and she kept a big grin on her face at how annoyed he was. "Sit, both of you." Clay ordered and Jax took his usual seat while Talia was sitting across from him in Chibs' chair. "This backbiting has got to stop. We don't need this kinda animosity on the inside."
"If Jax would act his age instead of his dick size, we wouldn't be having any problems." Talia scoffed.
"And you were just being so mature with your little song."
Talia smiled at him again. "Did you like it? It was just for you."
"Go to Hell, Talia."
"Maybe I will. I'm sure my crown could use a good polishing."
"This bad blood between you two is more trouble than it's worth." Clay interjected. "I want you both to leave all that negativity in here, so spit it out."
"Fine, I'll go first." Talia said and got serious as she pinned Jax with her stare. "You're such a crybaby, Jackson. You heard about me handling business, pissed yourself and went crying to Daddy over something that had to be done. Are you kidding me? You're a grown ass man and a Son, so start acting like one. Grow a spine or borrow my nuts until you grow your own."
"You shouldn't have taken that deal in the first place. You shouldn't be involving my members in anything you do because you don't belong here. Get this through your head, you are not a Son, Talia. You're a fucked up, sadistic, homicidal teenager that needs to be thrown into a fucking asylum."
"You don't know shit about me, Jax." Talia managed to push the redwood table when she stood and braced her hands on the top, leaning over it to glare something godawful at Jax. "Fuck you, I don't have to deal with this bullshit."
Talia shoved the doors to the Chapel open and Tig presented her guitar to her when he saw her. "Angel, you gonna play another song for me?" She didn't answer him, just took her guitar from his hands and stomped towards the exit. "Talia?"
Back in the Chapel, Clay asked his son, "Why would you do that? You just broke the kid's heart."
"I told her the truth and she needed to hear it." Jax defended. "What she did last night shouldn't have happened. She killed a sixteen-year-old girl like it was nothing, like she was squishing a bug or something, and went to dig a ditch to burn her in. The kid was a witness that could've gotten Larory and his boys a life sentence, I get that, but the way Talia dealt with that was unreasonable. I could've convinced that girl to skip town and keep her mouth shut."
"Talia got the green light from me to do what she did and she followed through without any problems, just like I knew she would when you would've hesitated. I've been trying to get you to realize that we sometimes have to do extreme shit like this to keep our allies satisfied, but you keep running away or avoiding it, so what other options do I have? Tig, Happy and now, Talia. It's what they do when some of us can't. That's what they're here for." Jax went to say something, but Clay raised his hand to silence him. "You cannot save a witness, Jackson. You know that. So long as they're alive, their memory's working and have the means to tell the cops what they saw one of us do, we are not safe. If it weren't for Talia, Larory would've gotten the maximum penalty and rotted in jail or they would've put him down like a goddamn animal. And when I call him later, I bet my fucking leather that he'll tell me to thank her again for what she did."
Jax couldn't believe what he was hearing. Not only did Clay know about what was going on, he told Talia that he had his blessing to do whatever needed to be done. He understood that Talia was the reason why Laorory and the Niners were their allies now and consistent buyers, but where did the line get drawn?

Talia is at home looking in the bathroom mirror, gripping the sink. Jax's words are echoing in her mind and getting louder. She starts breathing hard and once the voices, more than Jax's, get too loud, she screams and punches the mirror a few times before ripping it off the wall. She sits on the floor, starting to rock.
"Fuck you, Jax. I don't belong in that place. I'm not crazy." She mumbled to herself, sniffling. "...you don't know anything about me, stupid fucker. I should kill you."
Talia sniffles and wipes her tear-filled eyes with her wrist. She packs a bag and calls Hayleigh, asking if she can get away for a few days. Hayleigh says she can and Talia drives to the group home she was staying at. While she waits, she flicks a lighter while sitting on her car's hood and the negative voices are whispering in her head again until she sees Hayleigh. They hug, but Talia holds on when Hayleigh tries to pull away.
"Everything okay?" Hayleigh asked as Talia slowly pulled away.
"I know I just asked you to pack up outta the blue, but I feel like I haven't been spending a lot of time with you lately and wanted to make up for it." Talia deflected and it made Hayleigh look at her with a small frown.
"...I hate when you lie to me." She mumbled and Talia sighed in defeat. There was no way she could straight up lie to Hayeligh's face like she meant nothing to her.
"I hate lying to you."
"Talia, what's wrong?" The blonde urged and Talia grabbed her hands, looking into her eyes.
"...I can't tell you. I want to, but...I just can't, Halo."
"Is it something with your Dad?"
"No, no. Things are always good with him."
"Nobody's hurt?"
"Nobody's hurt."
"And you're safe?" Talia nodded and Hayliegh did too. "Okay...that's all I can ask for. I'm excited for this spontaneous trip of yours." She smiled.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah!" Hayliegh chirped. "Where are you taking me?"
"Figured if I took you to Scotland, we'd never leave, so Los Angeles will have to do." Talia told her and went to open her car's passenger door for Hayleigh to get in before rounding the car and getting behind the wheel. "I was gonna get us a nice hotel, go the spa and the pool, order room service. Just a nice getaway trip."
"That sounds wonderful, Tal."
