The First Time Branch Took Care Of Poppy Part 3

Branch got up early the next morning to make another smoothie for Poppy, adding in some extra protein for strength. He sent Bruce out to get more bananas and troll berries and to check on how the village was doing. Branch hoped the village was managing without their Queen, the last thing Poppy needed was more stress when she came back. Compared to yesterday, Poppy was showing some improvement. When he woke up, he didn't find her grimacing, meaning she had slept well and was comfortable. When he brought the smoothie to her, he was thrilled to find she was able to sit up on her own. He helped her drink the smoothie and she managed to drink more than yesterday. He was glad he added that extra protein.

"It looks like you got some good rest." Branch pointed out.

"I did, because of you."

"Me?"

She chuckled softly. "Branch, I felt you adjusting my pillows and turning me onto my sides last night. Thank you for making me comfortable."

"You don't have to thank me Poppy. I know you'd do the same for me."

"Maybe you should rest for a little bit today too. It doesn't look like you got much sleep."

"I'll take a little nap later."

"I'm ok for now, Branch. Go rest, for me."

"Alright, I'm a light sleeper so when you shout I'll come running."

She snorted. "Oh babe, you're not a light sleeper."

"I am too!"

"Maybe when you were crazy prepared, but since we've been having sleepovers. I've been able to eat snacks in bed without you stirring. I could probably sing if I wanted to and it wouldn't disturb you."

"Huh…I still hear every little thing when I sleep alone so I guess that means I sleep better when I'm with you." He smirked at her.

She blushed. "Ok, enough cheesiness, get out of here! I'll be resting too, so I don't think I'll need anything for a little bit."

"Alright my Queen. I'll check on you in a little bit. Let's get you comfy first."

As before, he wrapped her in the blankets, adjusted her pillows, and turned her on her side. Once she looked settled, he went into the living room. Bruce had not returned yet, the pull out couch was still in the form of a bed so Branch decided to use that for his nap. No sooner as he laid down, he fell asleep. His adrenaline and caffeine must have kept him going for so long.

Poppy felt relieved that Branch was going to get some well-deserved rest. He had done more than enough for her last night and this morning. She was happy to feel some strength coming back, only about 25% though. Today Poppy really wanted to take a bath and change her clothes. She thought she was starting to smell ripe and was becoming itchy. She thought she could wait for a few more days until she had more strength, but she couldn't take it anymore. Poppy knew Branch wasn't going to cross a boundary, but that didn't make her feel less nervous thinking about it.

Meanwhile in the living room, Branch was sleeping soundly. He was having a dream of him and Poppy in a flower patch. They were lying on a blanket together embraced in each other's arms while kissing. They had all the beautiful flowers and the sky to admire, but they couldn't keep their eyes off each other. She looked beautiful as always and she returned a dreamy look to him. Neither one of them talked in the dream, but they didn't need to. He could get used to a life like this, just him and Poppy. Suddenly in the dream, Poppy was nudging his shoulder and he could hear her talk. She just said his name repeatedly, but it wasn't her voice.

"Branch? Branch?"

Branch started to stir. His eyes felt very heavy. He looked around and couldn't recall why he had woken up. Then he heard someone calling him again.

"Branch, where are you?" Bruce called.

"Over here." Branch replied.

Bruce came over and saw his brother lying on the couch. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. You can go back to sleep."

"No, it's ok. I needed to get up anyway, I was just taking a short nap. Did Poppy call?"

"I didn't hear her. I just got back. I'll go brew some coffee for you."

"That would be great, thanks."

He rubbed his eyes and threw the blanket off of him. He didn't feel fully rested, but he was less tired now. Some coffee would help too. He folded the couch back in and took the mug from Bruce. The first sip tasted amazing. A nice caffeinated boost.

"It took me a while to find everything you asked for, but everyone was super helpful." Bruce said.

"Is the village managing ok?"

"Oh yeah. Everyone is fine. Viva and Clay are doing a fine job. I saw Floyd and JD out there too. I brought a bunch of get-well cards from everyone too. As well as flowers and candy."

"I'm surprised no one has busted down the door yet. Did you sleep alright out here?"

"Like a baby. It does feel nice to have a bed to myself for a little bit and not to wake up to any of my kids screaming. Still wouldn't change anything though! Did you manage to get any sleep?"

"Maybe a few hours. Hence why you found me napping."

"Anything I can help with?"

"Getting the bananas and troll berries helped. And thank you again for making the coffee, I needed it."

"You're welcome."

"I better go check on Poppy, she probably didn't call before because she was afraid she'd wake me."

"Alright, you know where I am if you need me."

Branch stretched and cracked some bones before he went back to his room.

"Poppy?" Branch whispered.

She gave a little smile. "Hi. Have a nice nap?"

"I did. I hope you weren't afraid to call me, it's ok if you would have woken me up."

"I was ok Branch but, I do need you for something."

"Anything."

"Um..keep in mind this is weird for me to ask. I-I feel really gross and want to change clothes. I won't be able to help you, so if this is too much I can always wait until I have more strength."

"Poppy." Branch interrupted her. "It's not too much for me. I know this situation is…unique, but like I told you yesterday I won't cross my boundaries."

"I know, but I also want to take a bath. I don't know how we can do that."

"Lucky for you I already thought of it."

"What do you mean?"

"Well for starters, I'll go get the bath ready. I'll be right back."

Poppy didn't know what he was up to, but was relieved to see him not flustered at this idea. She was trying hard not to blush, but was thrilled at the thought of getting changed. She would never take showering for granted again. She would give anything to soak herself in a bubble bath like Branch gave to her on Valentines Day. She would show Branch her gratitude after this was over, even with awkward moments Branch distracted her by being funny and lighthearted. As if on cue, she heard Branch whistle a tune as he came back to her.

"You ready?"

"To not smell bad? You bet."

"Nonsense. Don't say that."

"So..how do you want to do this?"

"Well I'll start by carrying you to my bathroom."

He scooped her up and gently carried her. Poppy couldn't help but be mesmerized by how gentle he was being, she looked up at him and he was 100% more handsome. Branch sat her on a chair and grabbed what looked like a towel.

"What I have here is a waterproof drape, I'll wrap this around you before you go in the tub, so I can't see anything. I will have to slip off your nightgown, but all I will do is just slide the straps off and let it fall. Same thing with your underwear. I will close my eyes the whole time and you can guide me if my hands are not in the appropriate place. I will not touch you like that. With that being said, are you still ok with this?"

"Yes Branch, I trust you."

"Ok. I'm going to close my eyes now." He took a step towards Poppy but ended up hitting his knee. He cursed to himself and he could hear Poppy giggle. He opened his eyes again and only closed them when he was directly in front of her. He felt the straps of her gown and slipped them off her shoulders.

"Is it off?" He asked.

"Almost. It's stuck around my middle. Um..maybe it'll come off if you pull my underwear down with it."

He made sure his hands did not venture up her body, only the center. He felt the silk gown around her middle and pulled it down. She informed him that it was off now so with her help again he found her underwear and pulled it down quickly. Before either of them could react or blush or anything, he immediately wrapped her in the drape.

"Is it snugly? Wrapped all the way?"

"Yes, you can open your eyes now."

He slowly opened his eyes. "It's good to see you again."

Branch lifted her off the chair and slowly put her in the tub. Almost instantly Poppy relaxed, she felt like herself for a little bit. She wanted to stay in the warm bath forever. She thought it couldn't get any better, but she was wrong. Branch took a washcloth and started to gently wash her face like yesterday, she shivered when the washcloth went down to the back of her neck. It wasn't a shiver because she was cold, it was something else. Using a different washcloth, he started to wash her shoulders and her arms. The way he was scrubbing them in small circles was not only relaxing to Poppy, it was causing a fire in her belly similar to the feeling when she kisses him. She thought she would still feel a little flustered, but it was the opposite. It was like Branch knew exactly what to do.

The best was yet to come though, when Branch started washing her hair that was the game changer. The warm water on her hair felt so good. He grabbed some of her shampoo and started massaging her scalp. He was working from the bottom up, it felt like the hair brushing yesterday but only 10x better. Why didn't it feel this good when she washed her own hair? She softly hummed as he was working on her hair. It didn't go unnoticed by Branch. He couldn't describe the feeling, it was like they were closer without needing to touch each other. A new form of intimacy he would call it. He used a cup of warm water to rinse her hair. Nice and slow. He could see it, she was grinning clear as day. These little subtle things were driving him crazy. He found her bottle of conditioner and wasn't sure what to do with it.

"Do I use it like shampoo?" Branch asked.

Poppy snapped out of her daze. "Huh? No. Only the ends."

"Why? What does conditioner do anyways?"

Her eyes widened. "What does it do?! It makes your hair softer! It detangles and prevents split ends!"

"I've never used a conditioner and haven't had those problems."

She smirked. "Or so you think."

He playfully rolled his eyes. "I use natural things for my hair. So I guess you can say that make my own conditioner."

"Do you think you could apply mine sometime soon before my hair gets tangled?"

"Oh right. Ok, just the ends."

"And only use a little bit, you can't use too much."

"Geez, all these rules for hair care."

He applied a small amount and did as Poppy directed. He noticed that the conditioner absorbed into her hair as he applied it. The shampoo had not done that, did he just screw it up?

"Was I supposed to wash that out?"

"No. It's supposed to absorb, how else do you think a troll's hair looks good all the time."

"Everyone's except mine apparently."

"I love your hair, maybe I should try what you use."

"Next time."

"This feels so much better though. I needed this."

"Are you ready to get out?"

"Yeah, I guess I shouldn't stay in much longer. How am I going to get dressed though?"

"I got you another night gown and a pair of underwear. We'll do what we did before. It might be a little more difficult, but we'll make do."

"Alright. I'm ready."

He set a towel on the chair and drained the tub before lifting her out and setting her on the chair. He took another towel and started to dry off her body. Well the parts that were uncovered anyways. Then he dried her hair to the best of his abilities, it was hard to dry another one's hair. Now came the hard part, dressing her blind.

"Ok, I'm going to take the drape off, I'll cover you with the towel though so that you are warm."

She nodded. Branch closed his eyes again and practically threw the towel on her as he brought the drape down.

"Are you covered?"

"Yes Branch."

"Ok, underwear first."

His hand patted the ground looking for them. Finally he felt the familiar material and she guided him once more. It was a little harder than yesterday because she was still a little wet and it was causing some friction. He had to support her back with one hand and use the other to pull it up in order for it to work, but they made it happen. Poppy allowed him to open his eyes for a moment while she was decent. The moment he did, he realized he should not have done that. He felt pulsations running through him, seeing Poppy wrapped in a tight towel was a sight he had never seen before. It was highlighting her features, especially the bulges of her breasts behind the towel. She looked sexy.

Whoa Branch, stop it! He immediately turned his head away from her and found her nightgown. He was able to get her legs through, now the process was going to start over again. He closed his eyes and slowly took the towel off her upper body. He kept his hands strictly on the sides of her body. Then something happened that made both of them jump a little. He accidentally brushed the side of her breast with his hand. He jerked his hand away immediately. They didn't mention it, Poppy just kept continuing to guide him. At long last the straps were secured on her shoulders, but Branch couldn't bear to open his eyes. He was not sure what kind of look he was going to get from Poppy for his accidental touch. She didn't look mad thank goodness, it seemed like she had just brushed it off. Very mature of her. Branch still felt like he had to say something though.

"Um…Poppy, I didn't mean to touch-"

"It's ok Branch, you were doing this blind."

"But I promised I would not touch-"

"It was an accident, Branch! I promise it's ok. And it was only the side, it's not you fully groped my boob."

Branch was a little shocked by Poppy's description, but then he felt the pulsations again. So he kinda liked it? Then he felt a small slap on his behind which was sending Poppy on the verge of laughing.

"There! Now we're even!"

Branch was surprised by Poppy's boldness, but laughed in response. If one of his brothers had done it, he would have been annoyed. It was different when Poppy did it. Then he didn't feel so bad anymore and continued to laugh. When it died down between the both of them, Branch helped Poppy brush her teeth and carried her back to his bedroom. Poppy sighing happily at her new refreshfulness as she laid on his bed. However, all the activity made her tired so she declared she wanted to rest. She tried to roll herself on her side on her own, but still couldn't do it. Branch was happy to do it for her though and brushed off her concerns of him doing so much. Once she shut her eyes again and was comfortable, Branch went back out into the living room. It was still early morning and everything was taken care of in the bunker, so he decided to take Poppy's advice again and relax.

Over the next few days, Poppy was showing progress everyday. She was able to walk with assistance, eat solid foods, and even turn herself on her sides when she was sleeping. She still needed help dressing and bathing herself, but Branch assisting her with this was something she now looked forward to. She was able to offer more assistance to him than the other day but secretly kept it to herself. She just could not get enough of Branch's gentle and caring nature and was not ready to give that up yet. Meanwhile Branch knew Poppy had more strength, but still loved carrying her, brushing and washing her hair for her, and helping her eat. He wasn't ready to give it up. Today was day 4, they had shared his space this long and he wasn't tired of her presence. Instead he only wanted her to be here longer. He felt that he and Poppy's relationship had grown stronger because of this. They had a new sense of trust, love, and appreciation for each other.

By the 5th day, Poppy felt strong enough to sit out in the living room and thought it felt safe to have some company over. No sooner had Bruce given the invitation to his brothers and Viva, they wasted no time to get to the bunker. They toned down their excitement for safe measure. Everyone was sitting in the living room, the brothers and Viva were giving updates in the village.

"Everyone misses you, but they're wishing you well! You got some really great friends!" Viva said.

"We organized some games, karaoke parties, oh and the morning songs! Those are so much fun, that reminds me there's something we want to tell you guys." Clay said

Viva stopped him. "Wait Clay, maybe we should wait until-"

"No! I want to know!" Poppy exclaimed.

"Ok. Since the bergens are no longer a threat to us, and after being here and seeing how happy everyone is here. We think it's time the putt putt trolls readapt to the village. In other words, move here! Me and Clay too."

Poppy's mouth fell open. "Wow Viva! That's amazing! I'm so excited! When do you think that will happen?"

"We're hoping within the next few weeks! It'll be so great to see you and dad all the time now!"

"Yes!"

The sisters were squealing with delight which made the brothers laugh. Then they realized this meant Clay would be in the village too.

"Looks like Clay is finally joining us!" Floyd exclaimed.

"You realize everyone will want your help with expenses right?" Branch asked.

"I do, and I'm ready for it." Clay stated.

"Hope you're also ready to see your brothers more often! Got to make up for some lost time!" Floyd said.

"One step at a time huh? Now we need John and Bruce to get on board." Clay suggested.

JD shook his head playfully. "We'll just stick with our monthly visits for now." He changed the subject, classic JD. "You look a lot better, Poppy seed! Seems like Branch is taking great care of you!"

"Oh yes, he's the best." She said nudging Branch.

"Ah, stop it." He nudged her back. "Thank you for sticking around Bruce, but I think I can take it from here. I can't thank you enough for all your help."

Bruce smiled. "You're welcome, Branch. No offense, but I'm ready to see my wife and kids again!"

"You're ready to give up your break?" JD teased.

"Break? All I could think about was them while I was here. I'm telling you guys, there's just something about having a wife and children that makes you feel fulfilled."

Branch stole a look over at Poppy when Bruce said that. He sighed quietly, hoping no one heard him. Then the moment was gone when his brothers offered snickers and comments about how cheesy Bruce was being. Even as adults, his brothers still acted like teenagers sometimes.

"You sure you'll be alright Branchie?" Clay asked.

Branch snapped out of his thoughts then rolled his eyes. "We'll be just fine."

"Poppy, you are one lucky troll. I hope someone will take care of me just like Branch did. Branch, you are so sweet!" Viva exclaimed.

Branch blushed slightly. "Speaking of sweet, I actually have a surprise for everyone." He disappeared for a little bit and came back with a plate of cookies. "Bruce, I took your advice and tried to make Grandma's cookies. Her triple berry cookies, I hope it tastes good." He was met with widened eyes and dropped jaws.

"You have grandma's recipes?!

"What else have you made of hers?"

"Branch perfected Grandma's rutabaga ginger soup!"

"Can you give us the recipes?!"

Each one of them took a cookie. Normally Poppy and Viva would have dived in, but they realized this was a serious moment and wanted the brothers to try first. One by one the brothers took a bite, and from the looks of their faces it looked like they could melt into goo at any minute. The cookies tasted exactly how Rosiepuff had made them. Memories of their childhood flooded back to each of their brains. Their eyes threatened to overflow with tears.

"Wow…"

That was all they could say. The cookies disappeared about a minute later and they all stared at the empty plate. It was then they decided they wouldn't make these cookies often because they didn't want it to lose its special touch. They also decided it would be Branch who would make them because they were worried they wouldn't perfect it as well as he did.

An hour later, the guests decided to head out to allow Poppy to have some rest again. She expressed gratitude for their help in the village and coming to visit. She couldn't wait to get back out there and be the Queen again. Bruce bid them a goodbye last as well.

"It was nice to see your bunker and spend a little time with you. I'm glad you didn't end up needing me too much."

"You were here for support and I can't thank you enough for it."

"Keep him in line for us Poppy!"

"You know it!"

They all headed back up in the elevator, leaving Branch and Poppy on their own. Poppy decided she wanted some rest. She was already comfortable on the couch, so she stole one of his blankets and tucked herself in. Though he was happy to see Poppy doing it herself, his heart dropped a little. He told himself not to fret about it and decided to take this opportunity to get things tidied up. Once everything was in order, an idea came to him. He was going to make the most of these last few days now that it was just him and Poppy in the bunker. Tonight he was going to make her something special now that her stomach could tolerate large portions again.

Branch stayed in the kitchen for an hour preparing his masterpiece, then he heard her stirring from the living room. He stopped and listened for a second and then heard nothing. False alarm. Whew. He wanted this to be a surprise for her, so he needed to be careful. He took extra measures such as fanning the food so the smell wouldn't wake Poppy. He felt better once it was in the oven so he could turn on the filters. His next order of business was making the table look nice, it had been days since they sat at the dining table together. Poppy had only eaten in Branch's bed or the couch, so this would be a great change of scenery. He got out his silverware and plates and placed them on his good placemats. Everything was ready, now he would just wait patiently for his girlfriend to awaken from her much needed slumber. He cleaned up and put some things away while he waited. After a while, he heard her stir again. This time she was waking up and he wasted no time to greet her.

"Hi sleeping beauty, you have a nice nap?"

"Yes, but now I'm too comfortable. I might become a couch potato.

Branch chuckled. "You a couch potato? That's not possible."

"Stop saying potato, you're making me hungry!"

"Hey, you started it. I'm glad to hear you're hungry though. I have something set up for you in the kitchen."

"What is it?"

"Let's go look and see, shall we?"

He helped her stand to her feet. She steadied herself while still holding on to his hand. Though she could walk better, she didn't have pep in her step like she normally would. She didn't want to risk falling down and injuring herself further. She couldn't make out what Branch made through her nose. Darn it, he was too good. After he sat her down in the chair at the table, Poppy started to feel a sense of normalcy again. Sitting down at a table instead of lying in bed felt so good. Her body which was stiff from the constant lying down started to loosen up with her sitting in the correct posture. Suddenly, a million smells surrounded her. Oh how she couldn't wait for real food. Branch set out a beautiful display of veggie salad, spaghetti with zucchini, and sourdough bread. He couldn't help but smirk when she saw all this food. She was practically drooling over it.

"Branch, you made all this?"

"Just for you. I wanted to show you my other recipes besides eggplant parmigiana."

"I've been dying for real food, I can't wait."

"Well, dig in my dear!"

The two of them ate in silence for a little bit with the sounds of Poppy appreciating the food filling in. Then the two of them laughed, since they hadn't eaten at the table together for days, they had forgotten they could talk.

"I have to ask. Where did your grandma's nickname come from?" Poppy asked.

"Butterfly? If my memory serves me right, she used to call me caterpillar when I was much smaller. Butterfly came when I got bigger."

It didn't take Poppy long to die from cuteness. "Ohhh that's so cute! I wish I had a nickname like that!"

"What are you talking about? You have lots of cute nicknames."

"Like what? Name one."

"I'll do you one better. Let's see we have: Poppy Seed, Popcorn, Popsqueak, Poppifer, and my personal favorite Sunshine."

"I love when you call me sunshine. Where did that name come from?"

"I think that one speaks for itself. Because you are a ray of sunshine in my life."

"Awww Branch."

"Just don't tell my brothers about butterfly. I'll never hear the end of it."

"My lips are sealed!"

After they finished their dinner, Poppy let out a satisfying moan while patting her stomach. This is what feeling full felt like again. After Branch cleaned up, they settled into the living room and did a puzzle together. A nice quiet, non-strenuous activity. It had been about 20 min when Poppy felt a weird feeling in her stomach. She brushed it off at first, but then it started to hurt more. Branch noticed her grimace and the clutching of her belly.

"What's wrong?" Branch asked.

"I think I have a stomach ache. I probably ate my food too fast."

"Your stomach is probably adjusting. It might have shrunk over the last few days."

"I haven't felt this since I was a kid."

"Well, I had a feeling this might happen." He got up and returned with a mug. "I made you some peppermint tea just in case, it always helped settle my stomach."

Both trolls didn't expect what would happen next. Poppy started to cry. Branch was alarmed. "Hey what's wrong?" Does it hurt that bad?"

"No, no. It's not that. You've been so caring to me this week and you just keep topping yourself. I just feel so happy. I mean I'm always happy, but this is a different kind of happiness. "

Branch breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm still a crazy prepared troll."

"Don't ever change that."

She took the mug and sipped the tea and instantly she felt so much better. She couldn't hold herself back anymore, what she was about to do was strenuous. She crashed her lips into Branch's passionately, it took Branch by surprise. He returned her passion for a second, but then he realized what they were doing and pulled away much to Poppy's dismay.

"Poppy, I want nothing more than to kiss you all night long, but we shouldn't do this. Not yet. I don't want you to go backwards."

"I don't care! I need you. Come on Branch, I'm almost better!"

"I know, but I don't want to risk it."

"Ugh ok." She crossed her arms, but then she had an idea. "Would you be able to do something else for me then?"

"As long as it's non-strenuous."

"Will you- wash my hair?" She asked shyly.

"Did you think I would say no?" Branch teased.

"No, but I know that takes a lot of work."

"I'd be happy to do it for you."

"Yay! Let's go!"

He playfully raised an eyebrow at her. "After your stomach settles."

She sighed. "Fine."

After waiting patiently and her stomach no longer was bothering her, Branch went and started the bath for her. By now, she was able to dress herself and pull the drape over her. She called Branch back in the bathroom and he helped her step in the tub. She took a minute to just relax and soak into the bubbles. The truth was, Poppy's hair didn't really need washing but she was craving some intimacy with Branch. She couldn't wait until things were normal again. Until then, she allowed herself to enjoy Branch's touch in her hair. How would she ever go back to washing her hair herself?

At long last, the week was over. Poppy was back to her old self. She wasted no time jumping out of bed singing and twirling around. Branch was still asleep, so she decided to start his coffee for him. She was still feeling a little sore from the lack of use with her muscles, but she felt like she was on cloud nine compared to the start of the week. Branch had nurtured her back to her old self. She turned and saw Branch standing in the doorway, admiring her. She didn't hesitate to greet him with a hug and a kiss. A hug so tight, Branch thought he would burst at the seams.

"Good morning, Branch!"

He pulled her back for another kiss. "It looks like my Poppy is back."

"I am! Your coffee's ready!"

"Thank you Sunshine."

"I'll make you some Breakfast!"

"No I-"

"I insist! This time you sit and relax."

"Yes ma'am."

In a flash, Poppy made them some poached eggs and avocado toast. Branch teased her about the lack of cayenne pepper. Other than that, she perfected it beautifully. This would be their last morning together for a little while. Poppy was going to be back in her crazy Queen life now. Sure, she would still stay the night here sometimes, but she would be gone before he woke up. Deep in this thought, Poppy's noticed Branch being quiet along with his drooped ears.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

He gave her a small smile. "It's nothing. I'm happy you are feeling back to normal, it killed me to see you not yourself. I would be lying though if I said I'm not going to miss you being here everyday. I wasn't sure how we would've been since we never spent that long together in the same space, but I found myself not getting tired of your presence. I love being there for you too, I know we had some…awkward moments, but helping you this way…I can't explain it. It has increased my love for you, and it's going to be hard to settle back into our old routine."

Poppy sat there and smiled ear to ear. "Branch…that's so sweet. I thought I was going to be a burden to you, so hearing you say this…I feel the same way. It will be an adjustment without being with you everyday."

"That brings me to my next question. Would you be open to the idea of us living together?"

Poppy looked puzzled. "As in…now?"

"Someone gave me some great advice, there's no time like the present. It doesn't have to be right away of course, I am willing to wait until you are ready. I just wanted to let you know that I am."

"Where would we live?"

"I gave that some thought too. You're the Queen and need to be near everyone, so I would be ok with staying in your pod."

"But your bunker-"

"It would be hard to leave it, yes. I'm not going to try to blow it up again, but I feel like I don't need it anymore. We can still have it in case of emergencies, but I'm ready to live in the village again…with you."

"Branch, I would love to live with you! I have one condition though.
He nodded. "Ok, fair enough."

"We won't move into my pod. We'll move into a new one and make it our own."

"Really? You would want that?"

"Yes, because it would be our place."

"I think it's a great idea."

"Then I guess it's official? Once everything settles down, we can take the next steps."

"It's official."

"Yay!"

She grabbed him by his robe and kissed him. The two trolls forgot about their breakfast and pressed against one another. They were not hungry for food now, they craved something better. Poppy reached up to Branch's robe and slid it off of him, revealing his bare chest. Branch did the same to Poppy, revealing her silk nightgown. They were deep into their session, they moved around so much they didn't even know if they were still in the kitchen. Without even realizing it, Branch was pressed against Poppy on the wall. He lifted Poppy off the ground, her legs happily wrapping themselves around Branch's waist. Branch carried her to the bedroom and shut the door behind him. That's where the two trolls stayed for the rest of the day, engaging in "strenuous" activities.

Happy New Year everyone! May 2024 bring us some joy! And just like that, the final part of this First for our couple is done! I hope everyone enjoyed this trilogy, but I can't wait to start a few first for Poppy and Branch, I wonder what that will be ;) As for the "strenuous" activities that happened at the end, that's up to your imagination of what that entailed! Hope everyone enjoyed the small intimate moments, the Rosiepuff tidbits and the next big step! Stay tune for the next first!
