While their ships undergo repairs and minor refits, Captains Solok and Lochlan attempt a personal relationship before they are sent undercover to investigate and expose a resurrection of the Vulcan Isolationist Movement. The mission sets Lochlan on a collision course with someone from her past and Solok will be forced to confront the true horrors of Xenophobia.

AU/DS9: It has been years since everyone left – Benjamin, Worf, O'Brian, Nog, Julian and Odo. But then why Kira kept dreaming of them being together? And most disturbingly she kept seeing Jadzia, an old man, and a young commander playing tongo.

slight AU Tensions are high, politics raging. Some predict a Ferengi civil war, and Pel isn't even sure what she is anymore; a weird hew-mon gone haywire knows that they're being invaded by a sentient parasite. Quark's in the wrong place at the wrong time, as usual, but being dragged into a mess he considers Ferenginar's own fault may be better for him than he thinks.
