Item #: SCP - VII

Name: Timeless Warehouse.

Object Class: Safe.

Appearance: Takes the form of an old time warehouse storage complete with brick and mortar along with the entrance comprised of two heavy duty sliding doors large enough to allow trucks to go in yet despite its old appearance, it shows on sign of degradation due to time.

Special Containment Procedures: The existence of SCP-XXXX is to be kept confidential, and access to information regarding SCP-XXXX is restricted to Level 4 personnel. All instances of SCP-XXXX must be monitored via satellite imagery and reported to Site-XX for documentation purposes. Foundation agents are to intercept and amnesticize individuals who have encountered SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon characterized by the spontaneous manifestation of an anomalous warehouse structure in isolated areas. The appearance of SCP-XXXX is random and unpredictable, and it only becomes visible and accessible to individuals who have been "chosen" by the anomaly. SCP-XXXX does not appear on surveillance cameras or maps and is undetectable by non-anomalous means.

The chosen individual, hereafter referred to as the "seeker," will experience a compelling urge to follow an unseen path leading to SCP-XXXX. Upon reaching the warehouse, the seeker will find it unlocked and can freely enter.

SCP-XXXX manifests as a vast, seemingly infinite warehouse with rows of shelves and storage units containing various items. These items range from artifacts dating back to the Stone Age to more recent relics. Notably, the items within SCP-XXXX are often discontinued, lost, or considered priceless, matching the seeker's desires.

The seeker may choose one item they desire, and this chosen item will manifest in their possession upon exiting SCP-XXXX. However, the transaction requires an exchange, and the seeker must surrender a possession of personal significance, such as a childhood toy, a cherished book, or a favorite jacket. The surrendered item becomes an addition to the warehouse's inventory.

It's crucial to note that SCP-XXXX does not contain consumable items, living organisms, or objects manufactured on a mass scale. Food, living creatures, and modern commodities are notably absent.

The nature of SCP-XXXX suggests a level of sentience or awareness, as it appears to fulfill the subconscious or conscious desires of the chosen individuals. Attempts to track or predict the appearance of SCP-XXXX have been unsuccessful, as it seemingly chooses individuals at random.

While SCP-XXXX poses minimal direct threat, the Foundation monitors its occurrences to prevent potential anomalies stemming from the exchanged possessions. Psychological evaluations are conducted on the seekers post-transaction to assess the emotional impact and any potential long-term effects.

SCP-XXXX remains a unique anomaly, raising questions about its origin, purpose, and the criteria it uses to choose individuals. Research efforts focus on understanding the anomalous mechanics of SCP-XXXX and exploring its connection to the desires of those it selects.
