It was later that evening when Eliza and Jeremy headed to the grill. When they got there she headed to a table and he went to see Vicki.

"Hey,"

"Working," she brushed him off taking the order she had to deliver and walked off.

Jeremy couldn't understand what she saw in Tyler whose table she served. They had hooked up a few times while he supplied her drugs. She pretty much made it clear she was embarrassed of them and so he gave up for the night heading over and joining his sister.

"Jer, give it time, you know how Tyler is he will make the biggest screw up and she will see him for how he is,"

"Yeah you're right thanks sis," he smiled again as Vicki walked up to their table.

"What can I get you?,"

"A order of fries, 2 cokes, and the real reason you won't give my brother who cares about you truly a chance and you stay with the douche bag Tyler,"

"I'll be back with your drinks," Vicki said clearly shocked that Eliza was giving her the third degree in front of Jeremy.

"Really?,"

"Hey it was a honest question," she relied as he shook his head knowing how she was.

Vicki returned with their drinks and slipped away again not wanting to be confronted again.

"So road trip plans what are we doing?,"

"Figured go two towns over stock up and groceries and get some stuff for each other like new clothes and accessories,"

"Cool sounds good, thanks sis,"

"No problem Jer," it was then her back clenched as she heard Caroline nearby.

"His name is Stefan Salvatore, he lives with his uncle up at the old Salvatore boarding house, and he hasn't lived here since he was a kid. Military family so they moved around a lot. He's a Gemini, and his favorite color is blue,"

"You got all that in one day?," Bonnie questioned.

"Oh please i got all that between third and fourth period, we're planning a June wedding," Caroline boasted as if it was actually gonna happen.

Eliza scoffed trying hard not to burst out laughing, Jeremy raised his eyebrow in question at her actions.

"Sorry it's just Caroline thinks she has a shot at Stefan but really he likes Elena,"

"Oh hah that is funny, what about you what's next in the new book of Eliza?,"

"Family Jer just focusing on you all for a bit to make up for lost time," with a small sad smile Jeremy nodded understanding as they settled in to eat their fries and plan their weekend trip.

About five minutes later Caroline and Bonnie slipped into the booth behind theirs, with Bonnie greeting Eliza. She may not like Caroline but the Bennet's have always been life long friends of hers. She even tried to help Emily before she was burned to death, and hid her children so they would survive to continue the family line.

Bonnie didn't believe yet in what laid in her blood, but one day when she had no choice she would come to realize just how much truth Sheila was speaking when she told her about their family lineage.

After all if it wasn't for the Mackenzie's the carnage in this town could have been worse in the last 145 years.

Back at the house Elena was getting ready to make her way to the Grill after having ate the dinner Eliza had left for her while she was at the graveyard. After grabbing her jacket she bumped into Jenna by the front door.

"I'm meeting Bonnie at the grill,"

"Ok have fun, wait i got this don't stay out late it's a school night, and tell your sister too adult or not we know if she doesn't sleep enough we face the wrath of the caffeine monster,"

"That's hilarious aunt Jenna, well done," she laughed as Jenna left towards the kitchen and she turned opening the door to a pleasant surprise.

"Oh,"

"Sorry I was about to knock, I wanted to apologize for my disappearing act earlier I know it was strange,"

"No worries I get it blood makes you squeamish,"

"Something like that, how's your leg?,"

"Oh it's fine just a scratch barely, how did you know where I lived?,"

"It's a small town I asked the first person I saw. I thought you might want this back," Stefan said pulling her journal from behind his back handing it back to her.

"I must have dropped it, thank you,"

"Don't worry I didn't read it," Stefan assured her as this worrying look crossed her face.

"No, why not most people would have,"

"Well wouldn't want anyone to read mine,"

"You keep a journal?,"

"Yeah, if i don't write it down I forget it, memories are too important,"

"Yeah i'm just gonna um you don't have to stand out there," and with that Stefan had free reign to enter the Gilbert household.

"I'm fine," he said respecting their home waiting outside.

Poking her head back around the corner after putting her journal on the table she smiled at how Stefan was acting.

"Sorry were you going somewhere?,"

"Yeah I'm meeting a friend, do you want to come?," and with that the bond of love had started to form between Elena and Stefan starting the path of how the Supernatural would affect their lives.
