Elena joined Bonnie and Caroline at a table at a coffee shop by the grill, Eliza with no choice sat with them.

"So I was talking to grams, and she said the comet is a sign of impending doom. The last time it passed over Mystic Falls there was lots of death, So much blood and carnage it created a bed of paranormal activity,"

"Yeah and then you poured grams another shot and she told you about the aliens," Caroline mocked.

"You don't have to mock or be a bitch about her family history Caroline, what's yours, oh yeah your dad left your mom for another guy that is about as interesting as it gets,"

"Eliza!," Elena was shocked at how brutally honest she was being.

"It's the truth Elena she needs to hear it sometimes,"

"Anyways, so then what Elena,"

"So then nothing,"

"Wait so you and Stefan talked all night there was no sloppy first kiss or touchy feel of any kind,"

"Nope we didn't go there,"

"Plus Stefan is a gentleman he doesn't seem like most of the creeps you see these days,"

"Not even a handshake? I mean Elena come on we are your friends, you are suppose to share the smut,"

"We just talked for hours,"

"Why must there always be smut, why not look for that in your own life instead of through Elena's," Bonnie was surprised Eliza was never this vocal around Caroline but she was snappy lately for good reason.

"Ok what is with the blockage? Just jump his bones already. Ok it's easy boy likes girl, girl likes boy, sex,"

"Profound Caroline," Elena said as she continued to fold pamphlets for the comet that night.

"Oh no what are you thinking Elena?," Eliza asked as she saw Elena standing up.

"Caroline's right,"

"Oh god,"

"It is easy if I sit here long enough I'll end up talking myself out of it instead of doing what I started the day saying what I was going to do,"

"Dammit," Eliza said jumping up to follow Elena.

She knew where she was headed and couldn't let her sister go alone, she just hoped Damon wasn't at the house.

"Please tell me you are not listening to what Caroline told you?," Eliza asked as they traveled in Eliza's impala to the Salvatore boarding house.

"Huh oh god no, no I'm going there to kiss him only geez is that what you and Bonnie were thinking?,"

"Uh yeah,"

"OMG no no sex just a kiss to see if that firework moment is there,"

"Ok good just making sure sis," Eliza confirmed as they were pulling into the drive way or the house.

"You should feel lucky though to not be going home,"

"Why?,"

"Cause Jenna is gonna talk to Jeremy about the parent teacher conference and all the things Tanner told her,"

"Ouch, yeah i'm happy in driving you then," Eliza agreed as they parked in front of the doors.

Stepping out of the car Elena and Eliza took the time to admire the size and style of their home. Walking up the front door Eliza stayed back allowing Elena to do her thing she was just moral support.

Elena first rang the bell then turned using the ring on the door to knock only for the door to open by itself.

"Elena you cant just enter someone's home uninvited," Eliza hissed as Elena slowly made her way in.

She knew it was a lost cause and as Elena made her way further in she slipped in behind her but stayed by the door.

"Stefan?," she walked in a bit further looking left and right for him.

"Stefan?," it was then Elena noticed his bag on the chairs by what looked like a sitting room.

Turning back Elena gave Eliza a 'Wow' look at how amazing his house looked, all she could think is 'you should have seen his first home in 1864'.

Beginning to walk back towards Eliza Elena was startled as a crow came swooping in. Eliza took the chance to slip behind the door so she wouldn't be noticed cause she knew animals could be used by vampires as warnings.

Suddenly as Elena turned back to face the way the bird flew she gasped for standing in front of her was none other then Damon.

"I I'm sorry for barging in the door was open," Elena turned to gesture to the door only to see it closed now and Eliza with a look of fear on her face.

As Damon looked towards the door as well his eyes widened in shock and disbelief.

"You must be Elena?, I'm Damon Stefan's brother,"

"He didn't tell me he had a brother,"

"Well Stefan's not one to brag, but who is the young lady you brought with you?,"

"Oh that's my sister Eliza,"

"Please, both of you, come in I'm sure Stefan will be along in a second," Damon held his arm out in a gesture for them to enter the sitting room.

Slowly Eliza walked up behind them, cautious of being near Damon again after so long.

Damon's eyes kept flickering back still in shock that his Elizabeth was alive again, he could make amends again if she remembered.

"Wow this is your living room?,"

"Living room, parlor, Sotheby's auction it's a little kitschy for my taste. I see why my brother's so smitten. It's about time for awhile there I never thought he would get over the last one. Nearly destroyed him,"

"Fuck," Eliza said under her breath knowing what Damon was trying to do as she stood on the steps to the room her arms crossed keeping her distance.

"The last one?,"

"Yeah Katherine, his girlfriend. Oh you two haven't had the awkward exes talk yet,"

"No but thank's to your stupidity now she has doubts," Eliza chimed in finally speaking up for her sister.

"Eliza be nice,"

"Hell no, he is just trying to screw with you Elena, if Stefan was dealing with something he seems the type of guy who would tell you that right off the hop,"

"Yeah you're right Eliza,"

"Well i'm sure it will come up now, or maybe he didn't want to tell you =because he didn't want you to think he was on the rebound. We all know those types of relationships end,"

"You say that like every relationship is bound to end,"

"I'm a fatalist,"

"Or just a jerk," Eliza muttered.

"Hello Stefan," as Damon said that Elena turned around to face him witnessing him checking on Eliza who stood beside him on the steps.

"Elena, Eliza I didn't know you were coming over,"

"I know I should have called,"

"Oh don't be silly you're both welcome over any time, aren't they Stefan?," as he said that Stefan gave him the dirtiest death glare he ever could.

"Maybe I should break out the family photo albums, or some home movies," at that comment Eliza's eyes widened in fear that Elena would find out before she could tell her about her past.

"But I should warn you he wasn't always such a looker,"

"Thank you for stopping by Elena and Eliza, nice to see you both,"

"Yeah I should probably get going, Eliza is my ride and she looks ready to run, it was nice to meet you Damon,"

"Great meeting you too Elena, Eliza," with that said Elena began walking up the stairs to leave stopping to wait for Stefan to step aside.

Knowing he was too furious to think Eliza gently pushed on Stefan's shoulder to get him to move.

As they got outside Eliza took a deep breath as they got back in the car and began heading home. She knew things were gonna get bad now that Damon knew she existed, she didn't know how he was going to react. For now she was going to go home and focus on her family.
