Inside the boarding house Stefan was mad at Damon and as he walked around him further into the room he was determined to get answers.

"Great gal she's got spunk, though what shocked me was her sister, though you on the other hand look pooped. Did you over exert yourself today? Let me guess, hospital?,"

"Someone had to clean up your mess," Stefan replied without letting him know that he had help.

"Were you successful? Did the powers of persuasion work? Remember if you don't feed properly none of those little tricks work right,"

"How long was Elena and Eliza here?,"

"Were you worried Stefan? Scared you may doomed to repeat the past? Isn't that why you play your little game of high school human?,"

"I'm not playing any games,"

"Of course you are, we both know the closest you will ever get to humanity is when you rip open and feed on it,"

"What kind of game are you playing Damon?,"

"Guess you'll just have to wait and see, won't you? By the way how long have known Eliza was Elizabeth?,"

"Long enough to know she remembers everything," with that said Damon walked away furious that he was the last to know.

Back at the Gilbert house Elena sat in the kitchen with Eliza and Jenna talking about today.

"He's on the rebound, and has raging family issues,"

"Well at least it's a ex girlfriend wait til you date someone with mommy issues, or cheating issues,"

"I told her not to worry about it, she is his ex for a reason. If it was that devastating he never would have started showing Elena attention,"

"Eliza has a point and she is normally right about these things," Jenna pointed out as she ate her apple.

Just then the front door opened to reveal Jeremy.

"Jeremy?," when he ignored them to start heading upstairs Jenna stormed towards the stairs Eliza's eyes widening in shock.

"Jeremy where were you?,"

"More stoner stories aunt Jenna I get it you were cool once and that's cool," he said giving her a thumbs up as he walked upstairs some more.

"Oh no no no," Jenna said throwing her apple at Jeremy's back.

"Ow why? why did you do that?,"

"Listen up quit ditching class or your grounded no discussion,"

"Parental authority I like it, sleep tight," and with that he finished going upstairs.

Eliza was in shock in the kitchen her sweet aunt Jenna was buckling down on Jeremy which was surprising.

Coming back to the kitchen Eliza nodded at Jenna acknowledging her new attitude. Getting up she left Elena and Jenna in the kitchen and headed to bed for the long day she knew was coming the next day. So she stripped off her clothes and slipped into her comfiest sleep pants and a tank top, wiped off her make up with her removing wipes, and removed her jewelry except for her vervain earrings. That was her little secret she wore one pair of studs constantly only cause she had them filled with vervain so it wasn't obvious to how she protected herself.

Slipping into bed she leaned over turning off her lamp and fell to sleep thinking of her prior memories with Damon.

The next day was the big day, comet day, oh what fun. So Eliza made sure to wake early. She got a shower and walked back into her bedroom. She chose to go with the safer choice for the day so she slipped on a pair of skinny jeans with ripped knees, a baggy tank top, and her studded black ankle boots.

Heading downstairs she bumped into Jenna in the kitchen.

"Morning aunt Jenna,"

"Morning Liz, you look good today,"

"Thank you, by the way I'm suppose to take Jeremy on a road trip tomorrow are you ok with that with all that's going on with him?,"

"Yeah please maybe if he gets out of town for the day he will see that we are only trying to help him,"

"Thanks aunt Jenna, I better get going I'll see you tonight?,"

"Yep see you later kiddo," she replied as Eliza walked out the door holding a thermos of coffee and a apple to eat on the way to the square for the days event. Left and right people were out enjoying the day. Picnics, kids getting faces painted, and her sister and Bonnie handing out pamphlets.

"Night of the comet would you like a program," they offered a passing couple as Eliza parked nearby and got out of her impala.

"He didn't call huh,"

"Or text but of course not she never gave him her phone number," Eliza spoke up spooking them both by popping up behind them.

"That's a important milestone in a new relationship," Bonnie pointed out.

"Isn't it? Timing was wrong anyways,"

"When is it ever right?,"

"I'm not ready Bonnie,"

"Who is,"

"She's right Elena, I might never be ready either but I'm willing to take a chance if the right person comes along,"

"See Eliza agrees,"

"At least i put myself out there,"

"Is that what you're calling it,"

"What do you mean?,"

"You never did give him a real chance Elena, no first date or even the phone step," Eliza pointed out.

"All i'm hearing is reasons why you can't," realizing Bonnie and Eliza were right she kept quiet in silent agreement.

Together they walked off, if only Eliza had paid attention she would have seen Damon playing mind games with Caroline. As much as she didn't like the girl it was highly doubtful she would want to see her be hurt by a vampire.
