Eliza sat at home with the gang when her phone buzzed. Looking at it while Elena was taking forever to choose a movie she laughed when she read it.

"What's so funny?,"

"Jeremy's at the grill with aunt Jenna and so is Mr Saltzman, aunt Jenna is crushing hard and flirting he is laughing his ass off,"

"Oh that is sweet she deserves some happiness herself lately," Bonnie smiled at what she considered good news.

"Um wow little awkward he's our teacher but good for her," Eliza was stunned Elena approved of something for once truly.

Back at the grill Stefan found Damon in the one place he knew he would, at the bar.

"So Stefan you know I've been thinking, I think we should start over, give this brother thing another chance we use to do it oh so well once upon a time,"

"I don't, Damon, I can't trust you to be a nice guy you kill everybody and you're so mean. You're so mean and you're really hard to imitate and then I have to go to that lesser place ,"

"Well if Eliza can forgive and see you in a new light so can I, can i get a coffee please?. What's with the bottle?,"

"I'm on edge, crash diet, you know i'm trying to keep a low profile,"

"You could always just leave, find a new town to turn into your own personal Gas n' Sip,"

"Won't leave Eliza again, ever again," Damon gave him the most serious look with that comment.

"Thanks," Stefan said as he received his coffee.

"You know you don't have to keep a eye on me,"

"I'm not here to keep a eye on you,"

"So then why are you here?,"

"Why not?," Stefan asked swiping Damon's bourbon making him turn to find out where he was going with his booze.

Back at the Gilbert house things had gotten awkward as Caroline had shown up toting Chinese food. Eliza and Jackie rolled their eyes at the tension and slipped off to their room to avoid it all.

Sitting at her desk while Jackie lounged out on her bed she worked on the last bit of homework she hadn't finished in class. Her phone went off again a minute later and when she looked she smiled as it was Nik.

Fire lily I hope you're well, I miss you dearly and sit here in Paris thinking of how one day I will show you the sights of the city of love in person til then dear enjoy.

Attached to the text was a beautiful photo of the Paris skyline with Nik holding a single red rose.

"Romantic isn't her?," Jackie questioned as she had walked over to see what had Eliza so deeply engrossed in her phone.

"Yes, and I love only a few see this side of him, he has a appearance to keep after all,"

"True I could tell when I met him til we were alone in his office to talk,"

"I can't wait til he can be here with me,"

"Me either sis," Jackie gave her a side hug knowing she was missing him.

Downstairs Elena was playing peacekeeper with Bonnie and Caroline and it wasn't going good.

"Bonnie's mad go check on her," Eliza nodded getting up to go see how she was doing.

"It came back Eliza," Bonnie said as she saw her standing in the bathroom doorway where she stood taking a breather.

"What did?,"

"The necklace, Emily, I tossed it in the field and Caroline found it in my bag downstairs it somehow came back,"

"She is determined to talk to you, maybe it's time to speak to her," heading downstairs together they sat in the living room til Caroline approached.

"Bonnie?, look it's just not me ok I just don't believe in the woo woo. But if you do then ok i'm in. That's all it take for me to jump on board because I consider you my best friend," at that Eliza rolled her eyes but kept quiet for Bonnie.

"And i'm saying this knowing that Elena's in the kitchen listening to my every word. Look I didn't know how real this was for you, but i'm listening now,' she said sitting on Bonnie's opposite side while Eliza moved to the chair.

"Okay?,"

"Okay,"

"Elena you can come in now we're done," as she yelled Elena popped out from around the corner and joined them in the living room.

"Well there's just too much drama in this room, so what do you guy's wanna do?," they all shrugged.

"i have an idea, why don't we have a seance?,"

"I don't think you want to mess with Ouija boards?,"

"I don't think that's a good idea," Bonnie agreed with Eliza.

"Come on let's summon some spirits, this Emily chick has some serious explaining to do," as Caroline said that Elena and Bonnie agreed while Eliza gave Jackie who stood on the stairs a 'we need to keep this safe' look.

This was gonna turn bad in some way Eliza knew to trust her gut and it was screaming to her.
