(USSS Freedom, Remnant's space)

A huge fleet of ships appeared around the planet of Remnant. On the bridge, was a young man with blonde hair in a buzz cut, blue eyes, and buffed. He was in the captain's chair, just thinking and sighing. Then someone reached him, "Sir?" She said, he looked at her. She was a very beautiful young woman. With long dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, and a figure.

"Yes?" He said.

"We are orbiting Remnant." Jaune nodded and got up.

"I want a team with me." He said.

"Sir," so he headed for a ready room.

(Ready Room)

The young man walked into the room and saw three women and men. They were all ready to go, he nodded and they loaded up in a shuttle to head down to the planet. Once it landed, they got out and the captain looked around and smiled. "I'm home," he said.

"Sir?" said one of the women. She had blonde hair in a top knot ponytail, grey eyes, and a buffed, tall body.

"Oh, sorry." He said, "Welcome to the kingdom of Arcadia. My birthplace and home, if we're lucky we'll be able to get to the palace before Noon." So they took off and headed for the front gate.

(Arcadian Front Gate)

A pair of guards were talking about what was going on in Vale and hoping they were going to be asked to fight against them. Their prince went missing and last they had heard, he was killed after he was expelled from Beacon, Vale's subpar huntsmen academy. "Why didn't he go to the Royal Academy I'll never know." Said one.

"You and me both partner." Said his partner, just then a group of people had started to walk over to them. They looked up to see them, "Holy crap!"

"That's…"

"Master Jaune," they said. They stood at attention, "Hello Your Highness," Jaune just sighed. He knew they were going to do this.

"Told you they were going to do it." Muttered Jaune, "Hello guys, is the queen at the palace?"

"Sir," said one of them. "Lady Rachel has become Empress." Jaune was in shock.

"Wait, what happened to my…" then it hit him. It was his fault that his grandmother, one of the most powerful Empresses in all of the Empires had died, and probably over a broken heart. He lowered his head as tears came out.

"It wasn't your fault Master Jaune," said the other guard as he placed a hand on Jaune's shoulder. One of the women that were with him, wrapped her arms around him.

"It's going to be okay Jaune." She said, "She's in a better place." The other guard had called the palace and they told them that someone was coming to greet them. The guards allowed them inside the Empire's gates. An hour later, a platoon of guards arrived and was in shock at whom they were seeing.

"Your Highness!" Said one of them and they all knelt.

"Please rise," Jaune said brokenly. They did, "Can you take us to my grandmother's grave?"

"Prince Jaune."

"I… never got… the chance to say… goodbye." One of the guards nodded.

"Alright Jaune," she said and they led them to the Royal Tombs. They went to the previous Empress's tomb.

Jaune touched the stone as he sobbed. The people sans the woman that held him, and was with him, stood at attention and saluted. He places his bowed head on the tomb. 'I'm sorry for not being here, Grandmother.' Then they started to leave and headed for the palace.

(Arcadian Palace, Throne Room)

Rachel Arc, Matriarch of the Arc clan and Empress of Arcadia was told about her beloved son returning. She was worried when he went to the Royal Tomb to see his Grandmother and say goodbye. 'And of course, he's blaming himself for her death.' She thought. Then the doors to the room opened, and Jaune and his entourage walked in. She looked over to see him with a smile.

"Jaune!" She said, she got up and went to him to hug him. "My son is home!" They hugged tightly, then she pulled back. "You listen to me, what happened to your grandmother was. Not. Your. Fault."

"But, I left on bad terms with you guys." He said sadly, "I…" Just then the door opened and in stepped a young woman, she looked like him if he was female. She was dressed in a T-shirt, jeans, boots, and an open black hoodie. Her hair was in a top knot ponytail. Her blue eyes filled with tears and she went over to him, crying.

"I'm sorry, I am so sorry Jaune." She cried and hugged him.

"Me too, Joan." He cried, hugging her. Their Mom looked on and smiled. Her twins were back, and her son was healing.

Later, they sat down in the family room to relax. Joan snuggled against Jaune. Helping him heal, he told them what he did and what had happened to him when he left.

"Jaune, I want you to bring your team down and they can serve Arcadia." Said Rachel, Jaune nodded.
