Damon sat in the living room flipping through the grimoire when Stefan came storming in.

"Anna took Elena,"

"Yeah I got that from your 600 voicemails,"

"Damon all night long, every single street in town I've been searching. What if your blood hasn't passed out of her system yet?,"

"Then at least you know you'll see her again,"

"Don't you care this is Eliza's sister,"

"Yeah a sister she isn't close to, I was with Eliza this morning she didn't care and neither do I about her missing she brought it on herself,"

"Please what do you know? You were with Anna you must know where she's living, tell me where I can find her,"

"Nope. You can go. Really,"

"You know all I can remember is hating you. there might have been a time when that was different but your choices have erased anything good about you. But see I also know that you have just as much reason to hate me. This all began with me. Katherine got taken away from you because of me, and I'm sorry,"

"Apology accepted,"

"So please just tell me what you know. It's Elena Damon if you know something tell me," Stefan pleaded.

Damon closed the grimoire and stood annoyed by Stefan already.

"I mean this sincerely, I hope Elena dies," he said walking around Stefan and out of the room.

At the hotel Anna leaned against the table by the window as Ben retrieved Elena from the bathroom where they had put her and Bonnie.

"Well, well Elena Gilbert. You really are Katherine's doppelganger. You must have the Salvatore boys reeling, and Eliza hating your guts for having the face of her murderer,"

"Who are you?,"

"I'm Anna, you're brother may have mentioned me. I mean we're like practically dating," Anna smiled as Elena looked confused.

Damon took the initiative to knock on Sheila Bennett's door. He knew Eliza spoke to her but he wanted to introduce himself so that they had a uneasy truce between them.

"Yes?," Sheila said as she opened the door, Greta stood behind her waving hi to Damon.

"Hi there I'm Damon Salvatore, a certain red haired young lady was here earlier and vouched for me,"

"She was you're lucky I love Eliza like a daughter I trust her word when she gives it, but it also took a lot for her to come to me about the situation occurring considering she cashed in a marker she has had with this family since the 1600's,"

"Excuse me 1600's?, What marker?,"

"Those details are not for me to share, let's just say she earned that marker rightfully and after many years she has finally cashed it in. My family will help you Mr Salvatore but do not let that young girl down or make her regret using her marker on you understood?,"

"Understood," Damon nodded as Sheila turned closing the door ending the conversation.

Back at the hotel Anna stood staring out the window as Elena yapped behind her on the bed.

"Bonnie's not going to open the tomb,"

"Oh I think she will,"

"Do you really want Katherine out so bad ,"

"Trust me, no one I know wants to see that girl again. Except Damon the love struck idiot,"

"Then what is it? Or who is it?,"

"My mother's in there. Katherine couldn't help herself. She just had to toy around with both of the Salvatore brother's. And then when she got caught so did my mother. I watched Jonathon Gilbert take her away,"

"I'm sorry,"

"You really mean that don't you? Yeah I think we'll skip the dead mother bonding so you can start serving a purpose ,"

"Which is what?,"

"Leverage, this belong to you?," Anna held up Elena's phone from the table.

Elena stood to snatch it when Anna held it back and turned it on finding a certain phone number and pressing call.

"Elena are you okay?,"

"She's fine for now. Tell me you have the grimoire and she'll stay fine ,"

"I can get it,"

"Which means your brother has it, and I have the witch so one of you had better meet me in the very public town square in 30 minutes so we can safely discuss how fun it's gonna be to work together," as the phone call ended Stefan turned seeing Damon in the door way.

"Go ahead grovel again. Oh wait no I don't care," Damon turned walking away texting Eliza to meet him in the square.

Luckily she was still around there so she parked the Impala and got out sitting on a bench by the water fountain.

She was there for about ten minutes before she saw Anna arrive. But so did Jeremy.

"Hey! Anna hey!," he shouted running over to her.

Eliza watched remembering how young love could be and hoped their story worked out better then her and Nik's had so far.

"What happened to you last night?,"

"Sorry I had to leave to handle something, but I gotta run right now,"

"Do you wanna go to a party tonight?,"

"Do I what?,"

"The guy that's throwing it is a total douche but it's suppose to be fun. I figured you know safety in numbers,"

"So you're finally ready to go out with me without Eliza's push are you?,"

"It's been a while since I've been to a party and I wanna get back out there. You know not be such a loner. And I like you, you're fun, and you're kind of strange and lurky but uh I guess I kind of like that too. So yeah you should come to the party with me. It's in the woods by that old cemetery,"

"It's there huh, that sounds pretty cool. I'll meet you,"

"Okay, great, cool," Jeremy was all smiles as Anna walked away.

Eliza smirked when Anna sat down next to her with a knowing smile.

"Shut it,"

"Didn't say a word," she laughed raising her hands innocently.

Suddenly Damon was there sat on the other side of Eliza hanging an arm over her shoulders.

"Got a hot date or you just plan on nabbing the entire Gilbert family?,"

"One I wouldn't touch Eliza I don't have a death wish, two I did that to piss off the man whose fault this all is,"

"Good way to do it," Eliza leaned into Damon to starve off the cold that was developing around town.

"Plus party right next to the old cemetery. Isn't that nice of them lots of warm bodies for starving vampires,"

"Wrong we are bringing a cooler to help the 4 we save while we stake the rest,"

"Better then nothing to get them kick started again," Anna shrugged.

"Plus I told you I work alone, well me and Eliza," he said after she slapped his stomach at his comment.

"Yeah so do i but you're short a witch and I'm minus a spell book. So what do you say?,"

"Oh for pete's sake I already got the Bennett's to help us open the tomb Anna we will get everyone out,"

"Stefan will come after you, you know that for messing with Elena,"

"Then he won't be too happy if I kill her when I don't get what I want," Anna stood turning to leave.

"When do you want to do this?,"

"God it's like 1864 all over again, Katherine and now Elena has you both wrapped around her fingers,"

"See thank you I'm not the only one who has noticed that the curse has taken effect,"

"You Salvatore's are truly pathetic when it comes to women. Tonight after sundown. Meet at the church," she said taking off as Eliza pulled away from Damon.

"It's not by the way, I care about her cause Stefan is finally happy and I am happy now too I have you back,"

"It will be soon enough Damon and then I won't be enough," she stood heading for her car not looking back at Damon who had a concerned look on his face. He hoped it wouldn't so he could prove her wrong.
