The two soon become close friends but when sinister force of nature has them calling to battle Mari will have to face her past and Kaworu will have to make a serious choice that could affect the human race.

What's the worst that could happen when Shinji's frustration gets the better of him? A divergent story using a fact from the series and extrapolating things from there.
