Eliza entered the Salvatore house she knew she needed to talk to Damon so she dropped everyone off at the houses and headed over.

Making her way upstairs she was nervous as she called out.

"Damon!,"

"Baby girl," he said as he walked out of the bathroom in just his jeans that were hung low to show the divots on his hips.

She took a second to compose herself and licked her lips cause he knew he could still effect her after all he was hot as hell and had abs like a god.

"You look,"

"Dashing? Gorgeous? Irresistible?,"

"Wrecked. You look wrecked hun," she said placing her hand on his chest to steady him as he walked towards her.

"No reason why,"

"Do you know I am one of Mystic Falls most eligible bachelors?,"

"I can believe that you don't have me on your arm anymore the women will fight to get you now,"

"You could again," he smirk wrapping his arm around her waist pulling her close.

"Only if you want Nik to stake you, he's possessive," she said as she placed her hands on his cheeks.

"How are you doing?,"

"Never better, what about you baby girl I heard the witches had to knock you out, and that you went zombie for awhile,"

"I'm taking it a day at a time, tomb vampires got out though, spell failed. I only know cause Harper the young man who worked for my family found me, Eli is taking charge of his transition into the new world,"

"Wow, that sucks. Are you going to put your parent's in the crypt?,"

"Yeah there is gonna be a ceremony when Nik comes back, will you be there?,"

"You couldn't keep me away from supporting you, and I promise I will take you to the storage unit soon,"

"You heard us?,"

"You knew I could," Damon raised his eyebrow at her silly question.

"Hello Elena," Damon said hearing her sister walk up.

Taking a deep breath Eliza turned to face her sister, this is the first time is awhile they had seen each other.

"Elena," greeted curtly.

"What can I do for you today? I'm a barrel of favors today. It's my new found purpose how can I help people?,"

"I'm just meeting Stefan, we're going to the fundraiser," she said as she leaned against the chair in the room.

Eliza smirked as she saw Damon having issues with his shirt he had slipped on when she entered the room. Turning she took the buttons fastening the shirt for him as they shared a secret smile.

Elena rolled her eyes at how they were acting especially since she knew they weren't together.

"So I found out who my birth mother is,"

"Ugh who cares. She left you she sucks," Damon pointed out as Elena sighed at how they weren't happy for her.

"Stefan there you are," and ta-da her smile was back as quick as it fell as Stefan entered the room.

Eliza turned giving Stefan a 'I'm happy to see you' look. He in turned nodded happy that she was venturing out slowly again.

"Ugh I need a bigger jacket. Wow you know an occasional sorority girl might, you know, fill you out a little bit," Damon said as he grabbed Eliza's hand as they walked out of the room.

"He's fine,"

"He's Damon,"

"Maybe this heartache will be good for him. It'll remind him that he has one, even if it doesn't beat,"

"Eliza does that for him, once he came out of the haze from Katherine's betrayal he was more worried and concerned and grieving for Eliza's parent's as well,"

"Why does he care so much about her?,"

"She was his first love, they were engaged in 1864 Elena that's a bond that is hard to break, they are good friends now. He know's she is back with her original love but he will always put her first most of the time,"

"Oh," she said looking away ashamed at her envy.

"So I went to see Trudie Peterson. I know, I'm sorry I didn't plan it,"

"How was it?,"

"She has vervain. She knows about vampires Stefan it can't be a coincidence,"

"It isn't. This is Alaric's wife," he said showing Elena the photo Ric gave him.

"This is her, this is Isobel. He gave this to you?,"

"Everything he knows about vampires he learned from her. He believes that she was killed by one,"

"Oh my god,"

"Listen Elena there's a lot about Isobel that Alaric can tell you but I need you to hold off for a little while before you talk to him,"

"Why?,"

"I know it's a lot to ask you but will you do that for me?," Elena nodded agreeing knowing it had to be important if he was asking for more time.

It was time for the fundraiser. Eliza (who had left Damon to finish getting ready without her distraction), Jeremy, Jenna, Jackie, and Harper (who Elijah had stuffed with blood for the night) had taken the SUV that Nik had purchased for when they wanted to do larger group trips around town down to the grill.

Jackie placed a hand on Harper's giving him a reassuring look that he could do this.

Elijah had chosen to take the time to leave town to handle something and said he would be back in two days that he was only a phone call away if she needed them. Nik would be back himself in two weeks then they could have their ceremony.

Eliza had heard from Greta before they had left the house she and Bonnie were doing good. The time with family was really helpful, especially for her to get to know more about her mom's side of the family.

When they walked into the grill Carol Lockwood was by the door.

"Tickets for the raffle are now on sale, all proceeds benefit the annual Founder's Day celebration," she announced as people walked into the room.

Jenna took off and found Ric as far from the crowd as he could.

"That's a good look for you,"

"Oh embarrassed and uncomfortable,"

"Yup that's the one,"

"Hey look I'm sorry about earlier it was just kind of a shock,"

"No I'm sorry for dropping it on you, but I felt like you should know,"

"No I get it,"

"At some point maybe you and Elena could talk. I'm sure she'd like to hear about Isobel, what she was like,"

"Yeah..,"

"Or not. No pressure,"

"I don't know if that's a great idea, at least not for awhile," Jenna nodded agreeing.
