"So I have a answer," Jeremy spoke up as he reached over grabbing a fry out of the basket they had ordered to share.

"To what?,"

"Why you should be the one to turn me,"

"We're back to that?,"

"Look I wake up everyday and I feel okay but there's something missing, Like a..like a hole. Some people they fit in life or whatever, I don't,"

"So you want a pity turn? I don't think so,"

"You should turn me because I don't have anything else,"

"Do you even know why we turn other people? It's not to give someone a one way ticket out of loner hood. One we need someone to do our dirty work. Two revenge. Three boredom but you know that never turns out well. And then you know there's the obvious one. That you love someone so much that you would do anything to spend all eternity with them,"

"So it's like Eliza and Nik, he has waited a thousand years to turn her because he loves her so much that it has never changed after all this time,"

"Exactly, his love spanned over a thousand years with no change that is a good reason why he wants to turn her when the time is right. I'm sorry but you don't fit any of those categories yet," it was then Anna noticed her mother enter the Grill and she quickly had to change the topic of conversation.

"So yeah just make sure your thesis is clear and she'll love it. I'll see you later," she rushed to gather her stuff to cut her mother off before she discovered Jeremy there with her.

Anna was smart quickly sending a text to explain why she was taking off she sent one word before she met up with her mother in the foyer of the Grill.

"Mom hey,"

"Did you get everything?,"

"Yeah the uh blood bank was under staffed due to the storm, I was in and out,"

"Who's that you were talking to?,"

"A friend, Eliza's brother to be exact," as soon as she mentioned Eliza she could see her mother pale as much as a vampire could.

"Let's get home,"

"You're not going out in that are you?," Mayor Lockwood asked as he approached Anna and Pearl.

"The roads are dangerous, road 5 is completely flooded,"

"We'll make do,"

"Mayor Lockwood we have your table ready,"

"Great,"

"Mayor Lockwood is it?," Pearl was interested now having a Lockwood so close to her.

"I suppose it is treacherous outside, my name is Pearl,"

"Hi,"

"This is my daughter Anna, we've just recently moved to town,"

"Welcome, Richard Lockwood and this here is my son Tyler. Please, please join us,"

"It would be a pleasure," Pearl smirked as she walked forward removing her coat, Anna following behind her.

"Be more creepy dad, not like your son is standing right here,"

"Grow up elections are coming up. She's a constituent, and a rich one from the looks of it," Richard spoke so openly not realizing they could hear him.

Pearl was plotting if she could bag the Lockwoods she could get control of the town much easier.

"And you can tell all that by looking at her ass? Awesome, I'm going to go shoot some pool," Tyler veered off refusing to be part of his dad's usual mayor crap. If only he knew that Pearl being there would effect him as well.
