"Teacher by day, vampire hunter by night," Damon snarked as Eliza smacked his shoulder.

"Be good,"

"Yes mistress," He replied being a smart ass making everyone rolls their eyes.

"I have you to thank for that,"

"What are these?,"

"Tranquilizer darts filled with vervain,"

"Yes so be careful with them Elena," Eliza spoke guiding her sister's finger away from the tip of the dart.

"Just get me in I'll get Stefan out,"

"Oi we will get Stefan and Harper out," Jackie corrected him glaring as Damon raised his hands in surrender.

"That's your plan? You're just going to take them all on yourself,"

"Not by himself he will have Henry and Jackie,"

"I'll be a little stealthier then that, hopefully,"

"Woah what are you doing?," Alaric asked as Elena removed one of the darts hanging onto it.

"I'm going with you,"

"Oh hell no you're not," Eliza sternly said as she raised a eyebrow at her sister's stupidity.

"But you get to be involved and be armed,"

"Yes I am involved by staying with the car as a lookout, yes I am armed cause I have over a thousand years of training and skill Elena, have you ever fought anyone human or supernatural?,"

"Well no but,"

"Exactly you haven't you would die faster then we could blink," Eliza hated to be so blunt but she needed to hear the truth and everyone was agreeing with her.

"You need me though, I'll get in, you can distract them, and then I can get Stefan out,"

"You'll get yourself killed you're not going,"

"I'm going,"

"So when you get me in, get out as quickly as you can because I know how to sneak around," Damon ignored Elena continuing his planning with Alaric.

"In more ways then one," Eliza teased as Damon slapped her hip where he had his hand wrapped around her keeping her close.

"You'll basically just be in the way,"

"And with us there we will be in vampire mode so it would be easier if we didn't have a beating heart around distracting us," Jackie pointed out as nicely as she could.

"And since she is so hell bent on being there Elena can stay in the car with me," Eliza tried to make Elena feel somewhat included.

"You're not going in the house," Damon made sure to repeat hoping she would listen to everyone there and not put her sister in danger to piss off Nik.

"You can't stop me it's Stefan we're talking about here you don't understand,"

"Oh I understand, I understand. He's the reason you live. His love lifts you up where you belong. I get it Eliza is the same for me and yet she is listening and you are not. You seem to be hell bent on getting yourself killed by a house full of tomb vampires,"

"Can you just not joke around for like two seconds,"

"I'm not, I can't protect you Elena or even Eliza it's why I have Jackie and Henry helping me. I don't know how many vampires are in there. That's how long it takes to get your head ripped off," Damon explained snapping his fingers to try to get it through her head about the situation.

"I have to be able to get in and get out with Stefan and Harper, I can't be distracted with your safety. Or this will end up in a bloodbath that none of us walk away from including Stefan. Then you will have two very pissed off originals who will find a way to bring you back just to kill you again for getting Eliza killed too," from her expression she was slowly starting to understand.

"I know, I get it, I understand," Damon ended the conversation causing a room filled silence for a minute at the honest truth he had just laid down.

"If we're gonna go, let's go," Alaric spoke first with everyone nodding.

They decided to take two cars, Alaric's for his weapons stash, and Eliza's Impala for those who would be going back to the Mackenzie house after this operation.
