However, Xana did his best to make sure the group was on their toes. There was a Krab that shot lasers at the base of the tree, watching it fall. The boys were in the path of the falling tree and got devirtualized. The girls started running from the Krab.
"So, how did you guys get here anyways if the Factory was invisible?" Naomi asked.
"Jeremy scanned and replicated the program you created that would allow you to teleport anywhere in the world." Aelita responded.
Suddenly, the Krab came up from behind and stabbed Yumi in the back. However, Yumi wasn't devirtualized. Instead, the Krab was slowly draining her Life Points. When the Krab was done, Xana joyfully watched Yumi be devirtualized through the Krab's viewpoint.
"I'll take care of the Krab, you head for the activated Tower." Naomi ordered.
Aelita nodded before running in the direction of the activated tower. Naomi noticed she didn't have any weapons on her.
"Hey Jeremy, I don't have any weapons. Could you elaborate for me please as to why?" Naomi asked.
"Maybe since you have Septima and wings, it's better to use your abilities. That way, there's no extra weight from your weapons dragging you down while your flying." Jeremy supposed.
"Something like how Aelita can create her Energy Fields?" Naomi thought.
"Exactly!" Jeremy agreed.
Naomi then took out one of her hairs before creating a ball of blood and throwing it at the Krab. The Krab scuttled left and right before exploding. Yumi and Naomi high fived each other before smiling happily. Meanwhile, back at the Factory, Ulrich and Odd had exited the scanners.
Regaining their balance as they waited for the center Scanner to open. However, the Scanner didn't open. Ulrich opened his phone and dialed Jeremy.
"We've got a problem Einstein, and Naomi's got one less problem." Ulrich spoke.
"What happened?" Jeremy asked.
"Naomi's brother didn't come out of the scanners after he was devirtualized." Ulrich responded.
"No no no! This can't be happening!" Jeremy exclaimed worriedly.
"So, you found the problem?" Ulrich hoped.
"I did, it turns out that since I didn't save any data on Naomi's brother so he'd get devirtualized like you guys." Jeremy explained.
"Enjoy your time telling Naomi her brother is gone. We'll be here where it's safe." Ulrich spoke.
Jeremy turned his communications from Ulrich and Odd to Lyoko.
"Hey Naomi, do you want the worst news or the bad news?" Jeremy wondered.
"I'll take the worst news first." Naomi replied.
"I can't bring your brother back." Jeremy replied.
"Wait, can't bring him back from where?" Naomi interrogated through clenched teeth.
"I kind of forgot to scan and save your brother's DNA so he's dead." Jeremy nervously explained.
"Can you use some of his DNA to bring him back?" Naomi thought.
Suddenly, a light bulb went off in Jeremy's head.
"That's it Naomi! You're a genius!" Jeremy cheered.
Suddenly, Jeremy remembered something. However, Naomi knew what Jeremy was about to say so she teleported off of Lyoko and put her left index finger in front of Jeremy's mouth.
Before you say anything else, take this." Naomi spoke while giving Jeremy a vile with a white hair in it.
"That hair I originally intended to make a clone with after I killed him." Naomi explained.
The boys looked at Naomi with wide eyes in a mix of disbelief and horror.
"Why exactly were you trying to make a clone of your brother after you killed him Naomi?" Ulrich interrogated.
"Hey! He tried to track me when I was in that Big Machine Room. I kinda sorta made a mental note to take a hair from him, make the clone and kill him before I used the clone as a replacement so Mytyl wouldn't notice the difference." Naomi answered.
"Yeah, I'd be pretty mad if my brother tried to do that." Yumi agreed.
"So, what do we do now?" Naomi asked.
"I'll materialize the Overwing so you can get to the Tower quicker." Jeremy spoke.
Suddenly, the Supercalculator made a beeping sound.
"That's weird. That's the sound my watch usually makes when someone's trying to call me." Naomi noticed.
And sure enough, there was an image of a phone on the bottom of the screen. Jeremy clicked it to see Nori's face while Mytyl was in the corner on her bed.
"Nori! How are you calling me from the Supercalculator!?" Naomi asked.
"I don't know. What I would like to know is where Copen is. I haven't seen him all day, and he's usually back this time around." Nori worried.
"Oh yeah, him." Naomi angrily muttered before nervously smiling, "About that, he's dead." Naomi answered.
Nori curiously raised her right eyebrow.
Naomi looked to see Mytyl on her bed about to cry.
"No no no no! Please don't cry Mytyl! Jeremy's rematerializing Copen right now!" Naomi reassured.
Mytyl slightly smiled.
"Is it okay if I personally want him to stay dead?" Naomi muttered.
"Naomi!" Everyone shouted.
"What!? Come on! Haven't you ever thought about that with Hiroki!?" Naomi exclaimed.
"I've never thought of, nor will I ever think of such a thing!" Yumi refuted.
"I'll start the materialization." Naomi sighed while going to the Factory Lift.
"Where are you going Naomi?" Odd queried.
"I have to download the program directly into the Supercomputer's hardware." Naomi replied.
Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich and Odd decided to follow Naomi. When they got there everyone was in position. Suddenly, Naomi heard footsteps before noticing a tall, very ominous shadow looming over her. Naomi then looked up to see that the ominous shadow belonged to no other than Yumi Ishiyama.
"Whadda want Yumi? Can't you see I'm busy?" Naomi interrogated.
"How do you know about Hiroki?" Yumi wondered.
"He came up to me and introduced himself before asking me if I knew you." Naomi explained.
"Oh." Yumi spoke.
Naomi then put her headphones on.
"Okay Jeremy, I'm done here. You can launch the materialization program." Naomi stated.
"Alright everyone, I'm launching the materialization program now." Jeremy affirmed.
Everyone went up to the Factory Lift to get to the Scanners Room.
