Viper turned back to normal before taking out two pairs of handcuffs. The girls saw Naomi collapse onto the sidewalk and cried before trying to shake Naomi awake.
"Please wake up!" the blond haired girl pled.
Viper then put one pair of the handcuffs on Naomi's wrists while he used the other pair on her ankles.
"By the order of Nova Tsukuyomi, you are under arrest!" Viper spoke.
Viper then took Naomi to the nearby Sumeragi care facility. When Viper got to the facility, he put her into the arms and care of the first staff member in a white coat he saw. After Viper did that, he decided to call Nova.
"Hello?" Nova greeted.
"I caught her boss." Viper answered.
"Excellent. I shall reward you handsomely." Nova praised.
"What do I do with her?" Viper wondered.
"Keep her restrained until I arrive." Nova instructed.
"I understand." Viper spoke.
"Great. I will be seeing you in 15 minutes." Nova notified.
"Got it." Viper finished.
Viper then ended the call before sitting in one of the waiting area chairs. The place was empty that day. 7 minutes in, Viper remembered something Nova said.
'Keep her restrained until I arrive.'
So, Viper went into the room to see Naomi in a mint green night gown with white dots. Viper felt his heart start racing as he approached her. Viper then removed the handcuffs before using them to chain Naomi to the bed via her wrists.
After Viper chained her wrists to the sides of the bed using the cuffs, he walked in to see Nova sitting down. However, when Nova noticed Viper, he stood up and walked over.
"How is she?" Nova asked.
"She passed out and has a ruptured skull, but otherwise she's fine." Viper explained.
Nova nodded.
"I'm glad to hear it." Nova spoke.
Viper and Nova then walked into the room Naomi was in. Viper then looked at Nova.
"So, watcha gonna do with her?" Viper questioned.
Nova turned his attention from Naomi to Viper.
"Is something bothering you?" Nova pondered.
Viper turned his attention back to Naomi.
"It's nothin. Forget about it." Viper responded.
Meanwhile, Aelita got on her computer and tried to face time Naomi. However, the only thing Aelita saw was several boxes.
"Hello? Naomi? Hello? Can anyone hear me?" Aelita spoke.
Copen was passing by but stopped and entered Naomi's room when he heard Aelita's voice. He then walked up to the computer and was greeted by the sight of a girl with pink hair and green eyes.
"Hey, um, what's your name?" Copen asked.
"It's Aelita." Aelita responded.
"Well, Aelita, why are you trying to contact my sister?" Copen interrogated.
"Well, I just had some spare time and I thought I'd just check in." Aelita answered.
Copen shook his head.
"Sorry, she hasn't been here for a while now. It's already 7:00 PM here." Copen spoke.
Aelita nodded before turning off her webcam.
'Where the hell is she?' Copen wondered.
Meanwhile, Aelita went to Jeremy's dorm. Aelita gently tapped on the door thrice. The door creaked open slowly to reveal Jeremy curiously examining Aelita. Jeremy sighed out of relief when he noticed it was Just Aelita. Jeremy then opened the door to let Aelita in.
Jeremy then poked his head out of his dorm before looking left and right to make sure nobody saw Aelita or anything. Jeremy closed his dorm door before sitting in his desk chair. Aelita then sat on Jeremy's bed.
"So, was Naomi there?" Jeremy asked.
Aelita shook her head.
"No, Copen told me he hasn't seen Naomi all day. And it's 7:00 PM over there as of right now." Aelita answered.
"That's weird. It seems the return to the past doesn't have any effect on Naomi." Jeremy assumed.
"That would be memory wise Jeremy. Wait, if it doesn't have any effect on Naomi anymore, does that mean-" however, Jeremy cut Aelita off.
"The return to the past doesn't work anymore!" Jeremy finished.
Suddenly, Xana's insignia appeared on Jeremy's computer in red.
"Surprise." Xana smirked.
Jeremy and Aelita turned, shocked to see Xana had used Jeremy's computer to communicate with them.
"I'll make you measly moronic human beings an offer. There's someone who's trying to gain access to Lyoko. If they gain access we'll all be in deep trouble." Xana spoke.
"You have any intel on them?" Jeremy questioned.
"I just sent you a file link." Xana responded.
Jeremy opened it to see the photo of an 14 year old boy that had purple hair with a white streak and red eyes.
"Who is that?" Aelita wondered while pointing to the picture.
'She seriously doesn't remember? Oh yeah, I forgot. Naomi made that program so these humans would forget about them.' Xana thought.
"That's Nova Tsukuyomi. He's the one who has Naomi right now." Xana replied.
"What!?" Jeremy and Aelita exclaimed.
"I'm calling Ulrich." Jeremy notified.
"And I'm calling Yumi." Aelita added.
After a few minutes, everyone was crowded in the Lab.
"Xana gave me intel earlier that a Japanese political group known as the Sumeragi is planning on brainwashing every single Adept in Japan. And they're intending on using Naomi to do it." Jeremy explained.
"And how do we know this isn't some scheme?" Yumi queried.
Suddenly, Xana's voice came over the Supercalculator.
"I embedded myself into Naomi's watch and saw everything. Here's the footage of what happened." Xana spoke.
Suddenly, footage of the fight between Naomi and Viper appeared on screen. The footage ended when Naomi blacked out. Everyone's mouths were agate when the footage ended and the screen went black.
"Do you know where she is now?" Jeremy asked.
"She's been taken to Firmament." Xana answered.
"How do we get there?" Jeremy wondered.
"There's three ways. Use Lola and she can teleport you, use the orbital elevator or use the teleportation program." Xana responded.
Jeremy nodded.
"It's decided then. We'll use the teleportation program." Jeremy confirmed.
The Supercalculator then turned on.
"Get to the Scanners room guys. It's teleportation time." Jeremy spoke.
Everyone (except Jeremy) nodded before getting into the Factory Lift. When Yumi, Ulrich and Odd were in the Scanners, Jeremy teleported them. Followed by Aelita. When the group got to Firmament, they were in absolute shock. Xana then appeared disguised as William in his current (Xana possessed) Lyoko form.
"Okay, this time, you all follow my lead. I'll go in using my true form so nobody will notice me. You guys will come from all sides after opening and closing the entrance door. Make sure nobody escapes or lives." Xana demanded.
"Uh, why are we taking orders from you now?" Odd taunted while pointing at Xana.
Xana then folded his arms before shaking his head and rolling his eyes.
"Because I have intel on the enemy and you guys don't." Xana remarked.
Yumi looked at Ulrich before nodding, Ulrich did the same. Aelita walked a bit before stopping a few paces in front of Xana. Aelita then nodded before speaking.
"Alright, we're ready." Aelita confirmed.
Xana nodded back.
"Let's go then shall we?" Xana insisted.
Everyone then followed Xana to the entry door to the room Nova was currently occupying. His attention was fixed on hoping they could use Naomi in Project Muse as a replacement for Joule/Lumen. The room was incredible, with it's glass walls and a very magical view of the Earth.
Xana noticed there was an electronic scan that read and analyzed the face of anybody who entered and/or exited the room. Xana touched his right hand to the system before using red lightning to short circuit the security door. Xana inhaled before looking at the others.
"I hope you're all ready for this." Xana spoke.
The four turned, Yumi balled up her fists before everyone nodded. The door light went from red to green before making a 'click' followed by a mechanical 'hiss' which indicated the door opened. As soon as the door was open, everyone ran in and cornered Nova.
Nova turned around, his cape flapped as he did so.
"So, I assume you all appeared out of the blue for Naomi?" Nova guessed.
Odd's jaw dropped. Yumi used her left index finger to put Odd's bottom jaw back in it's place.
"Don't, flatter him Odd." Yumi snarled.
Nova laughed before smiling and walking a few feet to the group.
"Don't worry about her. I assure you, she's being well taken care of." Nova lied.
Naomi was currently in a replica of the original machine that deemed her temporarily virtual. Meanwhile, Lola was in a different room so she couldn't rescue Naomi. Back in France, Jeremy was pacing while Aelita was drumming her fingers against Jeremy's bedframe.
Suddenly, Jeremy stopped pacing and Aelita stopped drumming her fingers before they put their index fingers in the air with smiles on their faces.
"That's it! We'll use Lola to track Naomi!" Jeremy jubilated.
Jeremy then turned on his computer before typing in the password and hacking into Lola's system. Jeremy then tried to find Naomi before getting the response of 'Subject not found'.
"What do you mean, 'Subject not found'!?" Jeremy ranted.
Aelita walked over to see what the issue was before placing a comforting hand on Jeremy's left shoulder.
"What's the matter Jeremy? You're sad there's no virtual girl on your computer anymore?" Aelita quipped.
Jeremy blushed before shaking his head.
"It's saying the subject isn't found." Jeremy complained.
"And, what does that mean exactly?" Aelita questioned.
"It means Lola and Naomi aren't in the same area." Jeremy responded.
Suddenly, a light bulb went off in Aelita's head.
"Wait, Jeremy. Do you think it's possible to rewire the system to echolocate instead?" Aelita spoke.
Jeremy pecked Aelita's left cheek before proceeding to type up a storm. After retyping and reformatting the system, Jeremy hit the enter key. Afterwards, Jeremy happily pumped his fists into the air before jumping out of his chair and hugging Aelita, causing the female genius to blush.
Jeremy then sent a message to everyone via their coms.
"Guys! I found Naomi! She's thirty-six feet away from you, in a hallway, third door to your right." Jeremy informed.
"That's a job for a ninja." Ulrich retorted.
"That's it! I can turn you guys invisible!" Jeremy smiled.
"So, you can turn us into invisininjas?" Odd queried.
"That's right Odd! I can turn you guys invisible! That way, you can get past Nova and the guards!" Jeremy explained.
"Quick question. How exactly do you plan to get past me when I know your plan?" Nova spoke.
Everyone worriedly turned to look at Nova.
"Jeremy, can you turn us invisible now please?" Yumi whispered.
"I'm done. I'm activating the program now." Jeremy answered before hitting the 'enter' key.
Suddenly, the program activated and the only people that could see the group was them. Nova laughed.
"My soldiers have heat detecting technology implanted into their suits. There's no way you four can escape." Nova smirked.
