With the group, they were at the Hermitage talking with Franz Hopper.
"So daddy, do you plan on going back to teaching at Kadic?" Aelita asked.
Franz nodded.
"I've decided to return back if they are willing to have me back and if Mrs. Hertz is willing to teach a higher grade level for science." Franz responded.
Jeremy then pushed the rim of his glasses with his right index finger.
"But how are you going to get your job back without anyone getting suspicious?" Jeremy questioned.
"Well, I think it's high time for a change. What do you think Aelita?" Franz spoke.
Aelita looked back at her father and nodded. Franz then got up from his seat at the table before walking over to the black land line phone next to the counter. Franz then dialed a number. Suddenly, the phone at the sanatorium's lab rang.
Since Copen was there working on his White Tiger armor, he answered.
"Hello?" Copen spoke.
"Is there a person that goes by the name of Naomi that resides with you?" Franz asked.
"Would you like to speak with her?" Copen guessed.
"If possible." Franz responded.
"Hold please." Copen begged before pressing the 'hold' button on the phone, quickly dashing to see Naomi.
When Naomi heard someone knocking on the door to her bedroom. She walked over to it and opened it.
"Hey little bro. Lemme guess, you came to tease me is that right?" Naomi complained.
Copen shook his head before pointing behind him with his right thumb.
"Someone on the phone wants to talk with you." Copen explained.
"Thanks for letting me know." Naomi thanked before her and Copen walked to the lab.
Naomi then grabbed the phone and took it off hold.
"Hello?" Naomi greeted.
"Hello Naomi. Aelita and her friends told me you haven't contacted them today." Franz remarked.
Naomi nodded.
"That's correct sir." Naomi notified.
"Could you please tell me why?" Franz wondered aloud.
Naomi nervously rubbed her free (right) hand on the back of her neck.
"Well, you see, I, oh how do I explain this? My dad grounded me and banned me from my electronics for 10 days; Lola included." Naomi spoke.
"Could you please get him for me Naomi?" Franz hoped.
Naomi gave the phone to Copen before going upstairs to look for her father. Naomi found him talking with Nori and her mother outside Mytyl's room. Naomi then pulled on his lab coat. Dr. Kamizono then turned around and looked down.
"Mr. Schaeffer is on the phone and he wants to talk with you." Naomi declared.
Dr. Kamizono then went to the lab. Naomi then looked at Nori who was on the left in front of Mytyl's bedroom door before looking up at her mother who was directly in front of her.
"I'm taking away your grounding. Nori just told me everything she knows about QUILL and what you're doing. So now I believe you do not need nor deserve to be punished. And if your father asks anything about this just tell him I said so. As for the vault combination it's 1349." Naomi's mother spoke.
Naomi hugged her mother and Nori before going to unlock the vault/safe. However, when she opened it, Naomi noticed Lola wasn't there. Suddenly, Naomi heard her father clear his throat before turning around and looking up.
"Before you say anything, I was allowed to do this." Naomi spoke before pointing to her mother who was waving from the top of the stairway.
Back at the Hermitage, Franz just put the phone back.
"I can get my job back starting tomorrow. But first, Aelita could you please knit me a brown sweater?" Franz spoke.
Aelita went out the door to go shopping with Yumi.
"I'll work on a false ID." Jeremy notified before leaving the Hermitage. That just left Ulrich and Odd to sit there in an very uncomfortable silence along with Franz. Meanwhile, at the sanatorium, Naomi was pacing back and forth wondering what could've happened to Lola.
