Aelita and everyone else should be here in 14 minutes. Would you like to stay and talk with them? Aelita has been telling me how concerned about you she is." Franz spoke.

Naomi then nodded again.

At Kadic, Jeremy was talking with Aelita who was behind him during English.

"When is Odd going to realize a relationship with Naomi will never work out? For one, he's human, she's an Adept. The second is she's always busy either with her family or QUILL. And third, Naomi's incredibly smart while Odd's incredibly stupid." Jeremy spoke.

"And I'm smart enough to know you and Aelita will be receiving 4 hours of detention after school." Mrs. Hertz commented.

Suddenly, Mr. Delmas' voice came over the loudspeakers.

"An unknown attacker is on campus and targeting everyone. All staff and students are to lock themselves in a room." Mr. Delmas notified.

Everyone then met up and locked themselves in Jeremy's dorm. Just then, Xana popped up on Jeremy's PC screen.

"You guys remember the person who said they'd eat you?" Xana spoke.

Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich and Odd nodded in unison.

"That's Stratos, nick named the gluttonous fly." Xana added.

Naomi just got another call.

"Yes?" Naomi spoke.

"Stratos just touched down in the same area as you. He's at Kadic Academy." Moniqa notified.

"Gotcha, I'll be right there." Naomi finished before ending the call and turning off her watch.

"Stratos just appeared at Kadic." Naomi informed before teleporting to her room, changing into her red fighting gear and teleporting back.

Naomi then walked up to Stratos before crossing her arms in front of her face as defense while she used her left leg to land a kick to Stratos' chest. This resulted in Naomi being knocked back. When Naomi went to grab her scythe, she felt something off. That's when Naomi realized it was two Sumeragi agents that caught her and forced her hands behind her back.

Naomi then looked up and noticed Viper to the left of Nova who was smiling while Viper was smirking. Naomi then looked between them to see a strange, tall and green tank with what appeared to be a 'face'.

It's 'arms' were guns.

"What the hell is that?" Naomi pondered aloud.

"That, is how you'll die." Viper remarked.

Naomi blew a raspberry at Viper who turned to look at Nova.

"You're right, they are monkeys." Viper mocked.

"Hypocrites!" Naomi retorted.

"To answer your question, this is the Mantis. It's one of Sumeragi's finest 9th gen units. The only downside to it's formatting is if it's head takes a significant enough amount of damage, it has an extremely fragile core that will be exposed for a few seconds." Nova elucidated.

"That's all the data I need." Naomi grinned.

Viper turned and looked worriedly at Nova.

"Now that she knows the secret she'll destroy them with ease." Viper worried.

Viper and Nova then watched as Naomi tried to electrocute the Sumeragi agents.

"It's no use. Their uniforms have been upgraded. So anytime you try to electrocute them, it increases the strength and power of their weapons." Nova informed.

Naomi then fell to her knees in defeat.

"Now, you're going to tell the principal everything is over. After that, you will come to the Sumeragi building and start working on the 9th floor. Meanwhile, Viper is going to tell your boss you quit working for QUILL." Nova notified.

Naomi nodded with tears in her eyes.
