I.M.P Get Hired for a Job

Imp City, in Hell, obviously

On the seventh floor of the condemned building in Imp City, the four members of the Immediate Murder Professionals were going about their day like normal. Millie and Moxxie were looking over a pin board, with several pictures of each ring of Hell. Loona was reading a magazine, laying on the couch. The door to Blitzo's office opened, revealing the man coming out with several Hundred Soul bucks, counting them.

"So what are you two lovebirds doing?"

"I'd say the same thing to you," Moxxie retorted, "Where'd you get all that money?"

"Only from the fat fucking paycheck Asmodeus gave me."

"YOU took a job from Asmodeus!?"

"Yep, mainly dealing with my former-bestie-then-lifelong-enemy-now-newly-rekindled friend Fizzarolli at the recent Clown event, his words, not mind."

Moxxie was stupefied by the long winded word Blitzo used, leaving Loona to respond.

"Didn't you guys hate each other?" She questioned lazily, sipping from her drink.

"Yeah, then Striker and Moxxie's deadbeat dad kidnapped us. Settled a few long term grudges."

Moxxie shook his head, "That's actually what me and Millie are working on."

"On what?"

"On Striker," Millie answered, "We've been trying to find out where he is."

"Why the fuck should we care where he is right now?"

"Well, considering that he's now fought us three times, maybe a good idea to deal with him, I mean, he did tell you last time that he's 'through losing these fights'."

"Wait," Moxxie cried out, "Blitz told YOU about him being kidnapped! Why would he tell you and not the rest of us?!"

"Because she asked," Blitzo replied, "And I was in a good mood," he cupped his chin, "But, Millie does make a good point. Bastard clearly has a grudge, and I don't want this shitstain fucking up and future jobs. Any idea where he is no-"

KNOCK KNOCKNOCK KNOCK

The main door to the office was knocked upon. Blitzo's attitude became sullen.

"Why the hell is he here?"

"You know who it is?"

"When you hear someone knock enough times, Moxxie, it becomes easy to know their knocks."

"Why do you know that?!"

"Doesn't fucking matter, Loony, could you get the door."

Loona rolled her eyes and sighed, opening it…

To reveal Stolas. The married imps and hellhound froze.

"Your Highness!?" Millie cried out.

Stolas chuckled nervously, entering the room, "Well, hello, Blitzy."

Blitzo rubbed his shoulder, "What do you need, Stolas?"

"Well," Stolas replied, "See, I'm here looking to see if you'd like to take a job."

"If it involves-"

"No, no, nothing sexual, or anything like that."

"I was referring to your ex-wife, but, good to know." Blitzo muttered quietly.

"Rather, it involves someone who came to me for help, and I decided that you imps might be able to help her. After all, your company does involve souls getting revenge on the living."

That piqued their interest.

"Okay, so who's this sinner that wants revenge."

"Octavia is currently driving them over here."

"Multiple things," Moxxie exclaimed, "One, when could your daughter drive? Two, why is she driving them here? And three, why are you involving us in this at all, if they came to you for help?"

Blitzo slammed a hand against Moxxie's mouth.

"Shut your dirtmouth, idiot! It's free money from an idiot."

Stolas chuckled, pulling the collar of his fur cloak. "Well, in order, my daughter could drive since just before I last took her to Loo Loo Land, she just never had a reason to drive. As for the rest, I'd rather have Octavia escorted here with your potential client, but…well, it's complicated, and I want as few people to know as possible."

"Ooohoho," Blitzo semi-taunted, "Something naughty then."

"The client is a fallen angel."

Everyone was speechless. A fallen angel wanting to hire killers?

"Seriously?" Blitzo responded.

"Yes, I admit, when I was approached by her, it was surprising at first, but her whole story made it-"

"Sir, you do realize how incredibly dangerous this is? Who knows who this angel wants us to kill!"

"Hate to agree with Moxxie, but a job from a fallen angel might be too much heat for even me, Stolas. Don't want anything to do with the Heavens."

Stolas nodded his head, "Normally I wouldn't either, but her situation is…unique."

"Unique how?" Loona questioned.

"She's not from our Heaven."

"The fuck does that mean?" Blitzo countered, "You say that like there's more than one Heaven."

"..." Stolas raised an eyebrow.

"...Oh, fuck me."

"Evidently, there is more than one Heaven. Or, at least, more than one afterlife."

"Sir," Moxxie exclaimed, "The existence of multiple afterlifes…it's…it's completely unfounded."

"Until now."

"Okay!" Blitzo interjected, "Before any of us start getting even more brainfucked, how did this other afterlife angel even get here? Hell, if she's from a different afterlife, why are they even called a fallen angel?!"

"Well, when she died on her world-"

"Oh, fuck, that's right, if there's more than one afterlife, then there'd be more than one world with humans on them. Guess the big G didn't make all of creation."

"-She begged the gods of her world to help her family," Stolas continued, acting like he didn't miss a beat, "But they refused, so she left their afterlife, wandering the cosmos for years, until reaching Earth, and our Heavens. Despite coming from another world, the Pearl Gates deemed her a worthy soul to enter Heaven, making her an angel. She asked the angels there to help, but they also refused."

"Doesn't surprise me. Those angels like to keep to themselves, and take care of their own. Surprised they didn't jump on the chance to 'bless' an entirely new world and usurp it, though."

"Since Heaven refused to help her, she came down here."

"And," Millie concluded, "By Heaven's own standards, any angel that chooses to leave Heaven, becomes a fallen angel, regardless of reasoning."

"Yes."

Blitzo rubbed his chin, "Well, talk about a fucked up situation."

"But why would she come to you?" Loona questioned, "Wouldn't she have a better time getting one of the Ring Lords to help her."

"Well, Loony, if she did that, then that Lord would likely try to stake a claim on this new world. And I'm guessing all this angel wants is for us to kill someone, right Stolas?"

Stolas looked surprised, then smiled. "So smart of you, Blitzy."

"Don't get sweet, I'm on the job. So, who's the client?"

"I'd prefer-"

He was interrupted with several knocks at the door.

"Oh! That must be them now."

"Okay, I know this might be shocking, coming from me, but, everyone, chill the F down. We'er dealing with a fallen angel, so Stolas won't be able to save us if she gets angry," Blitzo then yells out, "Come on in!"

At Blitzo's words, the door opened, with Octavia stepping in, followed by the fallen angel. She had a white, tattered cloak, with black ooz seemingly weaved into it, like smoke trails. The cloak covered her body, legs and arms, but, if the state of her face was anything to go by, it was likely in the same condition.

The same black ooz was creeping over her face, her skin pale as snow white, and her eyes were glowing silver lights, despite the blindfold covering them.

"Hello," the angel declared, "My name is Summer Rose. And I want you to kill a queen."

Author's Notes: So, yeah, the Immediate Murder Professionals are going to RWBY's Remnant to tackle Salem. When will IMP be deployed, and how will Remnant react to having actual demons fight against...actual demons...Huh, come to think of it, the God of Darkness is RWBY's closest thing to the devil (despite him not being anything close to that, more of a Hades character), and the Grimm would be the closest equivalent to demons.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this prologue. No idea when I'll make the actual crossover for this, as I'm trying to get Ever After Theatre done and out of the way (key word being TRYING). I just needed to get this out of the way before the idea get's dropped into the darkest corner of my mind, never to be seen again.

Anyways, leave a review, fav/follow, and I'll see you all next time.
