"Whadda ya want Copen?" Naomi muttered angrily.

"Uh, dad's not home."" Copen answered.

"I've noticed." Naomi retorted.

"Okay then, tell me where he is." Copen demanded.

"Um, at QUILL, talking with Asimov." Naomi informed.

"Also, Mytyl told me she's worried about you." Copen added.

"Oh, well then can you tell her that-" then Naomi though about what Copen just said.

"Wait, did Mytyl actually speak or did she just use her tablet again as usual?" Naomi pondered.

"She spoke this time. She was able to say an entire sentence though. She's getting a lot better." Copen spoke.

'Wait, didn't Naomi absorb the Muse Septima from Lola? So, that must mean Naomi originally had it. So then, it appears my next objective is to kill Joule. Then Lumen won't exist anymore. Then Gunvolt will be weaker with his precious Muse and will be easier to kill.' Copen thought.

"Cat's got your tongue? Come on spit it out already! We haven't got all 24 hours ya know!" Naomi complained.

Copen shook his head.

"Nothing." Copen muttered.

"Well it seemed like something to me." Naomi commented.

Copen then disabled communications between him and his now very flustered older sister.

"What was that all about?" Jeremy asked.

"It was just Copen. Turns out Mytyl said a whole entire sentence. But he was thinking about something else. I just know it." Naomi stated.

"What do you suppose he was thinking about?" Ulrich queried.

"Knowing him, which I do, he was thinking about the Muse Septima. Luckily, he doesn't know it was originally mine. Well, yet anyways. But back to the point. Copen was probably thinking about the fact that anytime I get more Muse Septima, Mytyl gets better.

So, he most likely was thinking about killing Joule. Joule has some Muse Septima, that's what allows Lumen to exist. In short, the Muse Septima-" however, Naomi was cut off by Odd.

"So, the Muse Septima allows one to generate someone else that's a digital hologram? But it can also heal or revive someone?" Odd theorized.

"That's pretty much it yeah." Naomi agreed.

Suddenly, Naomi started to type on her watch like a maniac.

"GV, where are you?" Naomi panicked.

"I'm at my apartment. Why? Is something wrong?" Gunvolt spoke.

"Yes, there is actually. I'm coming over and explain." Naomi finished before messaging Copen and tell him to tell their mom and Nori she would probably be gone for an hour or more.

Naomi then walked as calmly as a girl worried about one of her friends being murdered by a psychotic relative that she deemed crazier than Stratos could.

"Hi Mr. Tamura, is GV here?" Naomi greeted.

So is Joule." Mr. Tamura notified.

"Thank you so much, that's exactly what I was hoping to hear." Naomi smiled.

Naomi then ran up the stairs to apartment 340 and knocked on the door rapidly. At the 10th knock, Gunvolt opened the door.

"What are you doing here Naomi? It's 11 at night." Gunvolt yawned.

"Listen, we've got a huge problem. And by 'huge', I mean this time, instead of merely holding Joule hostage, Copen plans to kill her. That way he can get all of the Muse Septima in the hopes of it curing Mytyl." Naomi quickly explained.

"Is there anything we can do?" Joule cried.

Naomi nodded.

"I can make a charm that will generate Lumen with the same ability like she has the Muse Septima still. But I'm going toned my Septima back." Naomi elucidated.

"Now exactly do you plan to remove the Septima exactly?" Gunvolt questioned.

"Well, there's two ways. But both of them you aren't going to like." Naomi responded.

"And what are those ways?" Lumen interjected.

"Either use an operation to extract them, or steal a Glaive to store it in. Then afterwards I might have to find a way to use it. Which means confronting the Sumeragi and I can't do that. But it might be possible to store the Muse Septima in my Prevasion chain.

But I don't know how exactly to extract the Septima without an operation." Naomi mused.

(get it? Mused, Muse Septima? Just me? Forget it.)

"Do you know anyone who could do the operation?" Joule squeaked nervously.

"I do, but all of them are unconventional. Oh my gosh, how do I explain this?" Naomi stuttered.

'What the fluff am I thinking!? That might be a good idea but him and Asimov are either going to be in bad moods or dead and I don't want to get in the middle of that right now.' Naomi worried.

"Something wrong Naomi?" Gunvolt questioned.

Naomi shook her nerve wracked body.

"Our best bet is to return to the Datastore. They have information on practically everything dealing with Adepts. We can also wipe out the place while we're there." Naomi replied.

Joule trembled in fear.

"There's a major amount of scientists that can do it. But all of them are likely to turn you in faster than GV can snap his fingers. Though, there's one person that I know that's least likely to turn you in. But you won't like it." Naomi spoke.

"How so?" Joule wondered.

"A sanatorium is a place for rehabilitation, not surgeries. And if we took you to a hospital, they'd probably know who you were and ship you off on a one way route to the Sumeragi's headquarters." Naomi elucidated.

"What are we supposed to do then?" Lumen questioned.

"I've watched a lot of videos where people tried to make machines that preformed operations. And none of them had licenses or degrees. So it should be really easy to get our hands on some scalpels and what not." Naomi theorized.

Joule then fainted.

"That's great. Now Joule's fainted. And that sounded like an awful plan." Lumen protested.

"That's actually the backup plan if things fall out with the first. The first plan is to make a chain necklace of sorts to put around Joule's neck. That'll absorb the Muse Septima. Then I can use the chain. Hopefully that'll end this whole entire charade." Naomi explained.

Joule then woke up.

"I'm not gonna cut you like sashimi. I wouldn't have been the one to do it in the first place." Naomi spoke.
