Back with the Lyoko group, they were at the Hermitage telling Franz about the Mantis.

"What did it look like?" Franz asked.

"It was 10 feet tall, green, could jump, had tank wheels and a face." Odd described.

"What did you hear Naomi call it?" Franz pondered.

"I, I don't remember." Odd sighed.

"It must have been a Mantis." Franz theorized.

"Yeah! That was the name." Odd remembered.

"We saw this weird logo on it to." Yumi added.

"Could you please describe it to me?" Franz wondered.

Yumi nodded.

"It was a black sword blade with two black wings next to it, with one on each side." Yumi detailed.

"It was the Sumeragi." Franz identified.

"How can that be?" Jeremy interrogated.

"When I was working for the Sumeragi, the times and floors I worked on alternated daily. The 9th floor was where they make their machinery. The machines are used to kill and or capture Adepts." Franz stated.

"Wait, didn't Naomi say she had to self-surrender herself by midnight tonight?" Aelita remembered.

"Their midnight is in 1 hour." Franz spoke while looking at his watch.

"I'm going to bed. Let me know what you guys find." Aelita commented before going upstairs to her bedroom.

The others then went to the Factory. At Gunvolt's apartment, Naomi was still talking with Gunvolt though Joule went to bed.

"So, do you have a synther call number I could use to get in touch with your synther? Or could you just ask the request for me?" Naomi queried.

"I'll just ask the request for you." Gunvolt agreed.

"Whoaly toledo! It's already 1 hour till midnight. Where and how am I supposed to hide!?" Naomi panicked.

"You can stay here." Gunvolt offered.

Naomi shook her head.

"Thanks but no thanks. I was only staying in the apartment next to you and got caught! Plus you two were roped in as well. I've been thinking. Someone offered to let me stay at their home which is conveniently located in the middle of nowhere.

So, I'm going to take up the offer." Naomi spoke before leaving.

When she reached downstairs, she saw Agent Falcon talking to Mr. Tamura. Agent Falcon then turned and saw Naomi before returning his attention to Mr. Tamura.

"Thank you for your time." Agent Falcon finished before walking towards Naomi.

Naomi was walking so she didn't notice him. However, Naomi noticed Agent Falcon when he tried to force her hands behind her back. So, Naomi tried to electrocute him, it worked. Naomi then teleported to the Hermitage.

"Mr. Schaeffer! Mr. Schaeffer!" Naomi hollered panickily.

Franz then opened the Hermitage's front door to see Naomi standing there.

"To what do I owe this pleasure Naomi?" Franz greeted.

"Some guy was talking to Mr. Tamura who's the landlord for the apartment building a friend of mine lives in. He had blond hair, black glasses, a white shirt, a black tie, a black coat that in the back went down to his ankles, black pants and black shoes.

Next thing I knew, the sucker was tryna cuff me. So, I electrocuted him. But I don't get it. They call it electrocution, yet there's nothing cute about it." Naomi ranted.

Franz sipped his cup of coffee.

"I see." Franz spoke.

"Surprise!" The others shouted.

"Nope, shutting down." Naomi squeaked before fainting.

Aelita then ran downstairs in a panic.

"You guys killed Naomi!" Aelita shrieked fearfully.

"Nope, just a little mad that's all. I'm pointing at you Jeremy Belpois!" Naomi ranted before getting up and pointing her left index finger at Jeremy.

"Um, Naomi?" Jeremy peeped.

"Yeah?" Naomi responded.

"Isn't it midnight where you live right now?" Jeremy theorized.

"Then scooch your butts out of here before you dum-dum's get caught and arrested here with me! You heard me! Go! Shoo! And maybe go out and get a life while you're at it Odd!" Naomi shouted while ushering Yumi, Ulrich, Odd and Jeremy out of the Hermitage.

"Sorry if I sounded rude just now. But I know they'd stay with me and try to help me. I don't want anyone unnecessarily getting injured. And besides, this is my fight, not theirs. I'm sorry to ask but, can I stay here?" Naomi spoke.

Franz nodded.

"Aelita has a sleeping bag Yumi gave to her that you can borrow." Franz informed.

Naomi bowed.

"I really appreciate this." Naomi thanked before going upstairs.

Aelita had already set up the sleeping bag.

"I wonder how things are going at HQ." Naomi muttered to herself.
