The two then went to the Subaquatic Base.
"Alright, we're in the base. Where are you guys?" Naomi spoke.
"Zeno and I are at the exit." Asimov replied.
"Alright, GV and I'll be there as soon as we can." Naomi replied.
"Good luck." Asimov added before turning off communications on his end.
"So, about free will. We have laws here. So I think we technically don't have any free will. What do you think boss?" Zeno spoke.
"We do have freedom on some things, but not all of them. Which, in some ways is a good thing. If not, QUILL most likely wouldn't exist and we wouldn't be here." Asimov replied.
"I think we have just the right amount of free will." A male voice protested.
"Why's that?" Zeno questioned.
"Asimov's right. If we had to determine everything in the government and what they did, we might as well vote on everything." The male voice replied.
"You know, that's a good way to think about it. What's your name?" Zeno spoke.
"My name's Merak." Merak replied.
Back with Naomi and Gunvolt, they heard someone talking.
"Are you sure she came through this way?" a male voice asked.
"I'm positive." A female voice responded.
"Huh? What's Copen doing here? And why is Nori helping him?" Naomi pondered aloud.
With the Lyoko group, they just woke up at a Sumeragi facility. But which one it as they didn't know for certain. Suddenly, Lola showed up.
"Thank goodness you're all here! There's a problem we need to take care of ASAP!" Lola panicked before teleporting everyone to the Subaquatic Base. Xana then showed up as well.
"What are you guys dong here!? And where were you Lola!? I thought you were with Copen or Mytyl!" Naomi whisper shouted.
"I just heard they're planning to ship a new kind of weapon to the surface, I'm going take it out." Xana informed.
"Sounds good, call if you need anything." Naomi commented.
"Kay, you to." Xana responded before leaving.
At Firmament, Nova was looking over a robot that was just sent for him to approve. The robot already had threats pre-programmed. So it was approved. But somehow it went to the Subaquatic Base and surprised Copen and the others.
"What the heck is that thing?" Naomi wondered.
"It looks like it just teleported." Gunvolt commented.
Naomi then remembered something.
"It did, Merak's here then it seems. His Septima allows him to create wormholes and can teleport an object, humans and even Adepts to different locations. He must have teleported the robot from somewhere, but the question is, where?" Naomi added.
Copen heard Gunvolt talking and tip toed before seeing Naomi as well.
"Well well, pleasant surprise seeing you two here." Copen greeted.
Naomi put her hands over her chest feeling like her heart was about to beat out of it.
"Crap! Don't do that again you hear!? I though we talked about this! By the way, did you make that robot?" Naomi spoke.
"Not at all." Copen responded.
"Maybe it's the Sumeragi." Naomi theorized.
Suddenly, the PA system came on.
"Attention everyone, a robot has begun to wreak havoc at the Subaquatic Base! Do not let the robot escape! A mandatory lockdown has been initiated at the base!" a Sumeragi soldier informed.
"Oh no. I hope they don't initiate the protocol." Naomi worried.
"Wait, what protocol?" Odd wondered.
Just then, a siren blared and everyone heard whooshing and what sounded like water. The group then turned around and saw a massive wave that was 20 feet tall. The gang then ran as fast as they could. Naomi, Gunvolt and Copen took care of the enemies but accidentally left the others behind.
So, Naomi just decided to teleport everyone. However, instead of seeing just Merak, Naomi also saw Asimov and Zeno fighting the rogue robot alongside Merak.
"One, I'm wigging out. Two, guess we're a little late to the party." Naomi joked before the others gained their Lyoko forms. However, Xana was nowhere to be seen. But when the gangs eyes turned to look at Naomi, they instantly knew what happened.
"No way." Odd muttered.
"Now, before you do anything else, there's one think I'd like to tell you.. You won't be able to kidnap anyone else ever again." Naomi snarled.
However, her voice sounded a little electronic. Not to mention her outfit looked exactly like Xana's.
"Xana was right! He is living inside of Naomi!" Jeremy noticed.
