American Arc
Chapter 1
(Avengers Tower, a guest room)
A young man was sleeping in his bed, the room looked spartan, just a bed, desk, computer, shelves with books on them, his closet, and a pair of chairs. He also had his family's banner on one side of the room, and 'Old Glory' on the other side. On his nightstand was a picture of himself with the 'Super Allied Powers', a handsome blonde man who could be his father, and a young woman with shoulder-length brown hair, and blue eyes, and it showed her kissing him on the cheek after a battle. He was in a dark blue, short-sleeved under-armor T-shirt with an 'A' with wings on either side, blue tights, black boots, shooter gloves, shoulder harness with twin Glocks holstered, a sky blue vest with 'wings' on the lapels, and a black nose and mouth mask. He was buffed as the man, but not as big. An alarm buzzed and he woke up. He sat up to a voice. [Good morning Master Jaune.] It said, Jaune sat up.
"Morning J," he groaned. He got up and was in a pair of boxer briefs. Then he headed for a shower.
[I have told General Rogers and Major Carter that you are awake.]
"Thanks, are they mad?"
[They are more worried about you.] Jaune has a problem, it's an addiction, called: 'Saving people at the cost of your safety'. Of course, Rogers and Carter were worried about him. I mean they did adopt him. You see, Jaune is Jaune Miles Arc, a displaced knight, who appeared during the fight between Rogers' team and Iron Man's team. He saw what was going on and was going to tell them but was almost killed by a Hydra agent.
He was losing a lot of blood and got a blood transfusion from Rogers. He saved Jaune's life. He told Rogers about his life and what happened to him. How he had grown up wanting to help others but he wasn't strong and asked him why he let him live. That he was better off dead.
Rogers was Captain America, he wanted to help him trying to show him that his life counts. Carter was his wife Margret 'Peggy' Carter. She went to talk to him and he told her his thoughts. She agreed with her beloved husband and told him that she wanted to adopt him, to show him that he mattered and would be loved.
(With Steve and Peggy)
The couple was on their way to Jaune's room. "J.A.R.V.I.S. said he was up." Said Steve, as they entered Jaune's room. They heard the shower going and then stopped.
"Sounds like he's finished." Said Peggy, "Jaune?"
"Good morning, Mom." He said.
"Good Morning, your father and I need to talk to you." He gulped and opened the door. He had a towel around his shoulders and was in sweatpants and slippers. He had a through-and-through bullet wound on his torso, and Peggy grabbed him in a tight hug. "Are you alright?"
"Yes ma'am."
"What happened?" Asked Steve, so Jaune told him. He was on patrol, saw Spiderman was in trouble and it just escalated. They fought almost all of his enemies. He was tired but he still had Spidey's back, Green Goblin now was a leftie after Jaune blew up a pumpkin bomb aiming for Spidey.
"I was just exhausted," he said.
"Well, you're on leave for a while." Said Peggy, "Rest up."
"Maybe you can finally catch up on your studies." Said Steve.
"Yeah, I got 3 more papers to finish."
"But first," said Peggy. "You are going to get something to eat and I don't want to hear, you're 'not hungry'."
"Yes ma'am." He said so they went to get something to eat.
(After lunch, Jaune's room)
Jaune was studying and finishing up his papers for his classes. He was going to graduate from N.Y.U. early. He printed the paper up and showed Peggy. "I'm seeing an 'A'." She said.
