The days flew quickly after Harry moved out. Ginny would come over when she could get away and they would enjoy their privacy together. There were some close calls of course.

The first time, Ginny had been on top of Harry, engaged in a very passionate make-out session. As they enjoyed each kiss, they heard a fire in the hearth. Ginny had only a moment to dive from Harry and under the invisibility cloak, laid out beside the couch for a quick escape. She had nearly strangled Ron, who had come over after a fight with Hermonie. She had approved of Harry giving Ron some tough love and sending him back to apologize to his girlfriend. Ron had been pretty mad when he left.

She slipped out of concealment and sat on the couch beside her partner. "Good job. He will thank you for not just comforting him and humoring him later."

Harry nodded. "Perhaps if it had been any other girl but Hermonie. But she is like a sister to me, Gin. I want it to work out between them."

She laid her head on his shoulder. "I do too." They had returned to kissing and this time there were no interruptions.

The second time it happened, Harry and Ginny were taking a nap in the bedroom. Harry's alert spell went off, telling him someone was in the apartment. Harry quickly woke up Ginny, who slipped into the large walk-in closet. She had left the door open a crack so she could see and hear what happened.

Ginny gapsed as she saw Geroge come in, stumbling and a bottle of fire whiskey clutched in his hand.

"Geroge!" Harry exclaimed and got off the bed and rushed to her brother's aid.

"I'm sorry, Harry." George slurred his words. "Ronnie and I closed the shop and then I went to the pub before dinner. Was just going to have one drink but then I saw Angelina and it just reminded me of Freddie. Then they kicked me out and I couldn't go home like this…"

Harry wrapped an arm around Geroge and guided him towards the bathroom. "Let's get you cleaned up. You can sleep here tonight. I'll message your parents and let them know you are staying over. But you'll want to tell them in the morning. You need the support of your family."

George nodded. "I didn't want to drink so much, 'Arry, but I couldn't stop. I don't even like Firewhiskey that much."

"I know, George. It was Fred's drink."

Ginny lost sight of the boys and bit her lip in worry for her brother.

"I don't want to be a drunk. I've tried so hard to resist the urge to drink more than I should."

"It's alright, George. That's why family exists, to catch us when we fall."

Ginny felt tears prickle her eyes. Harry had no family to help him when Sirus died. Him being here for George was going to be helpful to them both.

"Thank you, Harry. I'll just sit here until the world stops spinning then I'll take a shower."

Harry came out of the bathroom and took out his wand. A silver stag erupted from the tip and went off to tell her parents about Geroge staying over. Ginny slipped out and hurried to the fireplace, giving Harry a very thankful kiss on the way out. She wanted to stay and listen more but knew she had to get back to her own room before her parents came by.

Harry tucked George into bed. The shower had helped but he was very drunk still. Harry handed him two aspirin and a glass of water.

"Here, take these and finish the rest. You'll thank me in the morning."

"Thanks Harry." George smiled as he did as he was bid.

"Thanks for helping me. I didn't want to see anyone else with red hair right now."

Harry knew that wasn't quite the truth. George had not wanted the other Weasley's to see him like this. He was fine with that.

"It's alright, George. You're always welcome here. Let's just try not to make the drunk part a regular occurrence."

Geroge nodded. "I know. Stupid…"

Harry cut him off. "No. Not stupid, George. You're hurting in a way the rest of us cannot really understand. Something only another twin can understand. I know it would hurt if I had lost Ron or Hermonie, but even them and I are not as close as you and Fred."

George nodded. "What about Ginny?"

Harry sat down on the bed. "Had Ginny been the one to die, I don't think we would be having this conversation. I wouldn't be able to, you see."

George looked up at him. "Why aren't you two together, Harry?"

"We have an understanding, Geroge."

George nodded. "I wish I did. I just want my sister and sort of brother to be happy together."

He slipped off to sleep and Harry got up carefully. "We are, George. We really are."

The third time they were caught in the act. Hermoine walked in on them kissing at the table.

"You two really need to be more careful than that." She scolded as Harry blushed. Ginny smirked at seeing her partner so stunned.

"Sorry," Ginny said without an ounce of regret in her voice. "What did you come around for, Hermonie?"

Her friend sat down at the table. "The Burrow is too quiet. Arthur, Molly, and Ron took George to see someone about his grief. There is a Healer at Mungo's that was a twin herself until the first war. Lost her sister to the Death Eaters. She offered to talk to George about it. The others are going as emotional support."

"I'm glad he is talking to someone." Harry held Ginny's hand in his. "I would if there had been anyone else in a similar situation as me. Mine is unique though. At least I have my emotional support Ginny to help me."

Ginny grinned and kissed his cheek. "And don't you forget it, Potter."

Hermonie rolled her eyes. "Maybe that is what George needs. A significant other. Even Percy is seeing someone right now. Seems like everyone else in the family is seeing someone."

"Not Charlie," Ginny winked at Harry. "Unless you count Dragons."

Harry sighed. "We are not having this conversation again, Gin."

They went back as a group to the Burrow and prepared dinner so when the rest of the family came back, it was to a house smelling of good food. Ginny smiled as Harry was pulled into a crying hug by her mother. George was looking better.

"I'm going to see Angelina tomorrow." She heard him confide in Harry. "I owe her that much."

"Good luck, George." Harry clapped him on the shoulder.

When Harry left for his apartment, Ginny longed to go after him. Honestly, she was questioning whether it was worth keeping this secret any longer. She shook her head. Just a little longer, and they could be in the open again. She could wait to see the looks on their faces when she and Harry kissed goodbye on the train.
