Meanwhile, Jeremy was thinking of something else that could possibly be causing the interference.
"Wait! Steel can cause interference but not that much. They must have some sort of signal jammer on the vehicle!" Jeremy theorized.
"We'd better start running if we want to catch up." Ulrich remarked before jogging in place.
"That won't be necessary Ulrich. I've got a better idea." Jeremy commented.
"Oh yeah? What's this brilliant idea of yours then?" Ulrich interrogated.
"We'll get to Tyron's lab faster than he can. We'll take the Eurorail to the lab, hide and wait for Naomi." Jeremy explained.
Yumi raised her hand.
"Something the matter Yumi?" Jeremy questioned.
"Yeah, how exactly do you plan for us to get in without being caught? Last time we checked Agent Graven is still alive and the Ninjas are still there." Yumi added.
"That's easy! Xana can help us all go incognito, then the lights will be turned off by us. Well, after Xana shuts of the Supercomputer and takes the blueprints, you guys go in, grab Naomi and teleport out." Jeremy elucidated.
"Actually, the best thing to do is go incognito, destroy the lighting system, get Naomi, decimate the Supercomputer and the blueprints before making our escape. But even then we don't know if the Sumeragi is helping them or something. Not to mention if anyone there is equipped with night vision, thermal scanners or both it's game over for us.
They also could have possibly upgraded the building and systems so that poses a threat too." Xana remarked.
"The least we can do is try." Yumi commented.
Everyone nodded in agreement before Xana teleported Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich and Odd to the other lab then turning them invisible.
"Alright, I'm going tear off the breaker switch, you guys will have to find Naomi on your own. I don't remember the layout of this place." Xana informed before leaving.
"It's like a maze in here! How are we going to find her?" Odd pondered aloud.
"I know just the person who can help." Aelita whispered before reaching into her pocket and dialing the number of the phone at the Hermitage.
Franz picked it up.
"Hello?" Franz spoke.
"Hi daddy, I need to talk to mom, we're in the lab and don't know which room the central lab is in." Aelita greeted.
"She's right here." Franz notified before Anthea took his place.
"Hi sweetie, I suppose you were teleported in front the entrance so just go forward and when you hit the hall take a right then the lab will be the first door to the right." Anthea explained.
"Thanks mom." Aelita beamed.
"Anytime dear." Anthea added before ending the call.
Aelita then put her phone back in her pocket.
"So did you figure out where the lab is?" Ulrich queried.
"We keep going forward and when we hit a hall we go to the right and the lab will be the first door to the right." Aelita responded.
"Let's go then." Ulrich remarked.
After following the directions the team was in the lab.
"Okay, now all we have to do is – ow!" Odd exclaimed while jumping around and holding his right foot with both hands.
Yumi put her right hand over Odd's mouth while using her left hand to pull him under a table with the others. Suddenly, the group heard feet walking across the floor, stop, and the person walked out the room.
"Phew, that was a close one." Odd remarked.
"We could've been devirtualized thanks to you!" Yumi whisper shouted.
"You guys know we still have to wait for Naomi right? And with all of these ninjas around it's not exactly the best idea." Xana commented.
"I have an idea. Why don't we try to get to the Cortex and wreck the system now? It might make Naomi get here faster." Odd theorized.
"I'll go wreck the system, knock all the ninjas out and lock them up somewhere when I'm done, grab the blueprints and meet you guys back here." Xana notified before leaving.
"I wonder why Naomi got kidnapped by the men in black." Yumi pondered aloud.
"Well, she did know me. And she has more Septima's than the average Adept. Wait! I think I know!" Aelita spoke.
"What is it?" the others asked.
"Last time the Supercomputer back at the Factory didn't have enough power to run the Code Earth program again and Naomi used her Azure Striker Septima to boost the Supercomputers power. And I remember that it can be used for hacking so maybe Naomi's needed for a scheme of sorts." Aelita explained.
"I'm back, and I've got the blueprints too." Xana greeted.
"I don't know about you guys but I'm taking a nap. Wake me up when the rescue mission starts." Odd yawned before falling asleep on the floor.
"I'll stay up. Since I took the power from the system before frying everything I've got some energy to spare. All of you should get some sleep." Xana recommended.
The others nodded before falling asleep. Five hours later, Xana shook Aelita awake.
"They're here." Xana informed.
The others woke up, stretched and yawned.
"Did you blow up the supercomputer?" Tyron interrogated.
"I just got here! And none of my Septima's would allow me to destroy something that far off." Naomi protested.
Suddenly, Agent Graven walked in.
"I've checked all the halls, none of the ninjas were present." Agent Graven informed.
"Someone must have infiltrated the building and took them out. Place the building on lockdown. No one gets in or out." Tyron ordered.
"I'm afraid we can't do that, the power is out and it can't be brought back on." Agent Graven notified.
Naomi then went invisible and Xana lead the way so the others could follow Naomi out of the building. After everyone was out they teleported back to Kadic in Jeremy's dorm.
