Back with the Lyoko gang, minus Yumi, the were at Kadic enjoying dinner.
"I checked the Japanese news earlier, it turns out the Sumeragi's three delegates are dead." Jeremy notified.
"Something the matter Odd? You haven't eaten anything." Ulrich worried.
"I, I just can't believe it." Odd sighed.
"You can't believe what?" Aelita questioned.
"Naomi was hanging out with me only because she pitied me. I know she was trying to be nice but it hurt me more knowing she didn't like me." Odd explained.
"Well at least you can still keep up your record of attempting to be with every girl in the 8th grade." Ulrich joked before patting Odd on the back.
"I'm going check on Kiwi, I'll see you later Ulrich." Odd informed before getting up, tossing his tray in the trash and leaving.
"He must be really devastated, he called me by my first name instead of good buddy." Ulrich noticed.
"I'll call Naomi. Maybe we can all talk about it." Jeremy informed before calling Naomi.
"Hey Jeremy, what's up?" Naomi greeted.
"I think you broke Odd." Jeremy theorized.
"How so?" Naomi pondered aloud.
"He didn't eat dinner, he didn't refer to Ulrich as his good buddy and he said he'd rather you haven't been with him than you do it out of pity." Jeremy responded.
"Guess I might have to talk to him. I hate confrontation but sometimes it helps too." Naomi commented.
"He's in his dorm." Jeremy informed.
"Bye." Naomi finished before ending the call and teleporting in front of Ulrich and Odd's dorm room door.
"Hey, Odd, I came by to apologize." Naomi spoke.
Kiwi started clawing at the door and whimpered. So Naomi entered the room in hopes Kiwi would quiet down. The blanket from Ulrich's bed was missing but Naomi noticed it was on Odd who decided to cocoon himself with two blankest while hiding his face by putting the two pillows together which made a pyramid. All while Odd was playing a car racing game on his game boy color.
"So, I know sometimes people will do more harm than good but that wasn't my intention I swear." Naomi notified after sitting down on the floor next to Odd's bed.
"Why did you try to be with me if you had no intent of being in a relationship?" Odd wondered.
"Because I had the good intention to help a friend and that's what counts right?" Naomi answered.
"Yeah, that's true." Odd admitted.
"I was wondering if you'd want to get some pizza since you didn't eat dinner and I found a five Euro bill on the park path near the garden shed." Naomi smiled.
"Okay, I'll have to change into some normal clothes though because I'm wearing PJ's right now." Odd informed.
"Aight, I'll meet ya at the pizza place." Naomi agreed before putting Kiwi down and teleporting to the cafeteria near Aelita, Ulrich and Jeremy.
"What's the verdict?" Ulrich queried.
"Odd's doing better, he said he's gonna meet me for a pizza because they have medium pizzas for five Euros right now and I found a five Euro bill in the park." Naomi answered.
"Well, we'll see you two later then." Ulrich added.
"Try tomorrow Mr. Hopeful." Naomi laughed.
Ulrich growled. Naomi then teleported to the pizza shop. The same waitress from the ice cream parlor then appeared.
"Can I help you?" the waitress asked.
"One medium pepperoni pizza please." Naomi answered.
"Anything else?" the waitress asked after writing Naomi's order down.
"No ma'am." Naomi replied.
"That'll be five Euros please." The waitress notified.
Naomi then handed the waitress the five Euro bill she found. While waiting on the pizza she called Odd.
"You don't have to worry about getting out of your PJ's, I'm bringing the pizza to you." Naomi informed.
"I'll get two sodas from the vending machine." Odd added.
"I, um, well, ya see, the thing is…" Naomi stuttered nervously.
"You wanted me to eat the pizza by myself so you could go home and sleep right?" Odd questioned.
"Yup." Naomi responded.
"Well I just managed to make the machine give me two sodas and it's really difficult to get anything out of it. And besides, I put on Hospital of Horrors, the latest episode. Jeremy's at the factory so I borrowed his computer." Odd pouted.
"Aight, I'm comin." Naomi surrendered before teleporting to Jeremy's dorm room.
"So, what's this episode about?" Naomi asked while opening the pizza box.
"I won't give you a summary unless you divi up the goods." Odd denied.
Naomi then split the box in half before putting one half of the pizza on the top part of the box for Odd and the bottom half of the pizza on the bottom for herself.
"Now, what's this episode about?" Naomi questioned.
"You'll just have to wait and see." Odd laughed.
Naomi then pinched Odd who yelped in pain. Naomi and Odd ate two slices of pizza and drank half a bottle of soda each before the movie reached its maximum climax. However, as soon as the climax started, the power went out.
"Aw, and we were about to see that Dr. Shrank wanted to-!" However, Naomi placed her left hand over Odd's mouth while using her index finger on her right hand to shush Odd.
"Do you hear that?" Naomi asked.
"Hear what?" Odd whispered.
"I could've sworn I just heard footsteps." Naomi worried.
"Any sign of Naomi?" a male voice questioned.
"None, but I thought I just heard her voice coming from inside this room." A second male voice queried.
"You see why I didn't want to watch the episode with you?" Naomi interrogated.
"Let's put the food in the closet and teleport." Odd suggested.
"Good idea." Naomi agreed while putting the pizza and sodas in Jeremy's closet before teleporting herself and Odd to Ulrich and Odd's dorm.
"Naomi? I don't understand, I thought you went home." Ulrich pondered aloud.
Naomi shook her head.
"Odd wanted me to watch a movie with him when I only wanted to give him a pizza using the five Euro bill I found on the park path. I tried to tell him I needed to get some sleep but he said he got two sodas from the machine and it was difficult enough to get one. So yes, I fell for it. But as soon as the episode reached its peak climax, the lights went out and they still are. Right after I heard two guys talking about me." Naomi explained.
"Though they might not have been talking about you." Ulrich supposed.
"How so?" Naomi wondered.
"There's another Naomi here but her last name is N'guyen. She also dated Odd until she heard he was also dating Heidi Klinger." Ulrich elucidated.
"Maybe I should go check her out. Quick question before I do though, does she have a dorm here or does she live off campus?" Naomi asked.
"She lives here. Her dorm is to the right of Sissi's." Ulrich answered.
Naomi then went to the other Naomi's dorm after turning invisible and knocking on the door.
"You know there's two Naomi's here right?" a male voice notified.
"Yeah, I also know that the one with black hair isn't the one we're looking for." The second male remarked.
Naomi then teleported herself to Ulrich and Odd's dorm before slapping Ulrich's right cheek with her left hand.
"That's what you get for doubting me. It's two Sumeragi guys. Well, I'm goin home and see if I can get some sleep. I'll see ya tomorrow." Naomi informed before going back to the sanatorium.
