When Naomi got home she noticed it was storming outside.
'Thank goodness I didn't teleport back outside.' Naomi thought Suddenly, Naomi felt a tug on the back of her hoodie. Naomi whipped around to see that it was Mytyl holding her white rabbit with pink in its ears, on its feet, paws and it had a pastel pink heart shaped nose.
"Hey, something wrong?" Naomi wondered.
"Did you make the storm? It's scary." Mytyl worried.
"I didn't I'll get rid of it in a sec but since I haven't been able to get much sleep I'm gonna recharge first." Naomi assured before placing her watch in her room and put on a red raincoat and red rainboots before going back to Mytyl.
"If you're wondering how I recharge you can check it out from your window." Naomi spoke before going outside.
As soon as Mytyl looked outside her window she saw Naomi get struck by lightning. Mytyl was in such a state of shock that she didn't notice Naomi went back inside, close the door or take off her coat and boots.
"Boo." Naomi whispered.
Mytyl jumped and squeaked. Naomi laughed while Mytyl stared at her angrily.
"Ah, if only the Sumeragi guys were as easy to scare as you." Naomi laughed.
"Maybe they aren't scared of you because you used to work with them and they think they can get you back on their side?" Mytyl theorized.
"Those nanobots they injected into me took over my mind and made me go to the Utu media tower. But I don't remember seeing any Sumeragi employees." Naomi replied.
Mytyl yawned and stretched her arms.
"Yeah, let's get some sleep." Naomi agreed and went in her room to bed.
The next morning, Naomi woke up to find a bandage on her right shoulder.
"What the heck?" Naomi yawned before going to get her red long sleeve shirt with finger holes before feeling a pain where the bandage was.
'Guess I'm just using my left arm today.' Naomi thought.
Naomi then put on red jeans and her red boots. This time, instead of using her regular earrings, Naomi replaced them with red stars.
"I wonder why that band aid's there." Naomi muttered to herself before bumping into Copen.
"You're up early." Copen commented.
"What time is it?" Naomi questioned.
"Midnight." Copen replied.
"You've gotta be kiddin me! I just got back from the killing Nova mission half an hour ago! Maybe I've got too much adrenaline in my system." Naomi ranted.
"That or the anesthesia wore off." Copen remarked.
"I'm sorry but I don't think I quite caught what you said but did you say anesthesia?" Naomi wondered.
"Yeah, I heard dad say something about your Septimasome earlier." Copen informed.
"Thanks for the info, I'll have ta ask." Naomi thanked before going downstairs.
Naomi then knocked on the wall as to not risk getting shot.
"Hey dad? Copen told me you were experimenting with my Septimasome, is that true?" Naomi queried.
"I just wanted to make sure it was stable." Dr. Kamizono replied.
"Why's that?" Naomi wondered.
"Sometimes an Adepts Septima can become uncontrollable, even if they use a Glaive. Soon after the Septima becomes uncontrollable, it gets more and more powerful until it can't be contained anymore. All Septimas have the ability to do damage. I just keep getting worried that since you have seven Septimas that it puts you at a greater risk." Dr. Kamizono explained.
"The only thing putting me at a greater risk is working for QUILL. But even that isn't dong much." Naomi remarked before going back upstairs and directly to bed.
Naomi woke up at 9 in the morning and saw Ms. Francine made her a chocolate pancake and a glass of chocolate milk. Naomi put her boots ack on before teleporting to Kadic. Naomi then remembered that the gang took a break at lunch so she decided to take a walk through the park. After walking through the entire park, Naomi decided to check out the Hermitage.
Naomi knocked before spinning her gun in her left hand. Anthea opened the door.
"Oh Naomi, what a lovely surprise! Please, come in." Anthea smiled.
Naomi walked in and sat down on the couch in the living room.
"So, why did you decide to visit Kadic?" Anthea questioned.
"Nori informed me of an attack at the factory from Asroc so I decided to eliminate him." Naomi answered.
"So, why did you decide to visit?" Anthea wondered.
"I'm waiting for the others to get to lunch so we can talk." Naomi notified.
"Speaking of talk, there is a dire topic I would like to inform you of Naomi." Franz added.
"Is something wrong?" Naomi worried.
"Unfortunately there is. After you eliminated the Sumeragi delegates just an hour ago, Nova has taken lead while the delegates are recovering in the hospital from the gunshot wounds." Franz elucidated.
But that can't be right, I killed Nova earlier, and the delegates." Naomi denied.
"It must have been a prerecorded message then I suppose." Franz guessed.
"Maybe, maybe not. I guess I'm going back to the Utu media tower. But first, some sleep." Naomi yawned before stretching.
'Maybe not.' Naomi sighed mentally as she quickly lowered her right arm, remembering about the Septimasome test.
"Is something wrong?" Aelita asked drowsily while walking downstairs.
"Hey, um, sorry I woke you up. Wait, why are you here and not at Kadic? That bad with Sissi huh?" Naomi pondered aloud.
"I'm just here taking a nap. All of the issues with Xana and the Sumeragi is quite exhausting." Aelita admitted.
"I'm really sorry I got you and the others roped up in this." Naomi apologized.
"It's not your fault. And besides, we get to help people." Aelita answered.
"Yeah, but I wish we could help ourselves too." It's fifteen minutes until lunch. I'd better get dressed." Aelita noticed.
"I'll see you there." Naomi notified before leaving and walking to Kadic.
On the way to Kadic at the crossroads, Naomi heard laughing. So she turned herself invisible, hid herself behind a tree and peaked her head from behind the tree. Naomi was in disbelief to see Yumi leaning on a tree laughing with William. Naomi then teleported to in front of the cafeteria before making herself visible, walking in and sitting next to Aelita at the end of the table looking down.
"Is something wrong Naomi? Did you have trouble sleeping?" Jeremy worried.
"Um, Ulrich?" Naomi squeaked nervously.
"Yeah?" Ulrich answered.
"I hate to say this because what I saw is killing me but I saw Yumi and William laughing in the forest." Naomi admitted.
Ulrich got up, threw his lunch out and stormed out of the cafeteria just as Yumi walked in. Yumi then grabbed Ulrich by his left arm.
"Hey-" but Ulrich pulled his arm back and ran to the park.
Yumi then got some lunch and sat down at the table with Aelita, Naomi, Jeremy and Odd, only for them to leave. William then sat down with Yumi where the others were. Back with Naomi, she just remembered that students weren't allowed in their dorms during that time of the day so she knew that Ulrich was either in the park or at the Factory.
"How does this sound? Aelita and Jeremy, you guys check out the Factory while Odd and I look around the park?" Naomi suggested.
The others nodded in agreement before going their separate ways. What the others didn't know was that Ulrich virtualized himself onto Lyoko, right in the middle of a ring of Sumeragi soldiers with rocket launchers and laser guns. Back with Naomi and Odd, they just reached the crossroads.
"I'll go East to the Hermitage and you check the West path. Hopefully Mr. Schaeffer saw Ulrich run by." Naomi spoke.
Odd nodded in agreement before going West. Suddenly, Naomi got a call from Jeremy.
"What's up Einstein?" Naomi questioned.
"We found Ulrich. He's in the Ice Sector surrounded by Sumeragi soldiers. We need you and Odd to get Ulrich back to Earth." Jeremy elucidated.
"Ya know there's a higher chance of Sissi being nice to us than there is of getting Ulrich back here in one piece, not including of his free will." Naomi remarked just as Odd walked in.
"Aelita called me. We have to get him." Odd commented.
"That's what I was just thinking but we can't tell her, we need her and Ulrich to fess up. First, we need Yumi to notice that Ulrich is emotionally hurt and the rest aughta take care of itself." Naomi added.
Jeremy then activated communications with Lyoko.
"Hey Ulrich, please don't jump into the Digital Sea. There's so much to live for here. There's traveling, great adventures and tons of other things." Jeremy begged.
"Like what?" Ulrich pondered aloud.
"Lemme handle this one Einstein. Since Yumi was your whole world, make it you this time. Just kidding! You need to go right up to Yumi, declare your love for her directly front of William and make sure you don't care about the consequences. Besides, if William decides to start a fight, tell Jim. The others and I'll be there ta back ya up." Naomi assured.
So, Ulrich stabbed himself with his katana and rematerialized in the center scanner. Naomi and the others then went down to the scanners room and had a group hug with Ulrich.
"Where were William and Yumi last?" Ulrich asked.
"Last time I saw them they were at the crossroads. I'll go with you but I'll be invisible. That or they're at Yumi's house. So, Aelita and Jeremy, you guys go look at Yumi's house and say you want to do a study session with Yumi.
If her folks ask you where she is say you guys were in the library and Yumi told you she went to the gym. Odd, you go check William's dorm. In the meantime Ulrich and I are going to check around for them in the Forest. Ulrich can take the North and West sides while I search the South and East areas.
If we don't find anything we'll all met up at the crossroads. If anyone finds something, call first and then we'll go to the location the person that called is at." Naomi recommended.
Everyone nodded in agreement before everyone was teleported to their designated search parameters. Naomi then made the others invisible. Luckily right before William turned around almost spotting Jeremy and Aelita.
"That's weird." William muttered while scratching the back of his head with his right hand.
"What's weird?" Yumi asked.
"I could've sworn I just saw Jeremy and Aelita." William thought aloud.
Yumi looked around before looking back at William and shaking her head.
"There's no other people here, just us." Yumi denied.
Aelita then called Naomi.
"You found them?" Naomi hoped.
"They're talking in front of Yumi's house" Aelita confirmed.
"Gotcha, I'll meet ya there with the others." Naomi finished before hanging up and teleporting herself, Ulrich and odd in front of Yumi's house followed by Naomi removing the invisibility from everyone.
"I'm sorry I never told you that I loved you Yumi. I was just afraid that you didn't share the same feelings. I was being immature and stubborn, wanting people to leave me alone when I got mad. I was also stubborn about change.
I may still be a little immature, but we all know that's Odd's fault. And I've finally realized that this change I don't have to hate. It's a change that I'm sure I'll love, because that change is you. I guess what I'm trying to say is, Yumi, will you please be my girlfriend?" Ulrich lectured.
Everyone stood still and absolutely motionless for a few seconds. That is, until William went up to Ulrich, grabbed him by the collar, shoved his back against the tree Yumi was leaning on and had his left hand balled up into a fist.
"William, don't do it! We're through! This is over! For good!" Yumi exclaimed.
William let go of Ulrich's collar and Ulrich landed behind first on the ground.
"You can't be serious. Fine, I can tell when I'm not wanted." William scoffed before storming off.
"Something's telling me that William isn't gonna give up that easy and plans ta try tearin Yumi and Ulrich's newfound relationship in two." Naomi commented.
"But at least It'll be something worth fighting for right good buddy?" Odd smiled.
"It sure will Odd, it sure will." Ulrich agreed.
"That's it! It's a worm! But, Xana destroyed the supercomputer and both power sources for it. So, where is the worm being generated from?" Naomi droned.
"You found it?" Jeremy hoped.
"She found what Einstein?" Odd wondered.
"Naomi and I have been searching for the virus that Tyron implanted into Xana. But it's not a virus, it's a worm." Jeremy elucidated.
"I'm confused, what is a worm exactly?" Odd questioned..
"A worm is basically a virus that can reinstall itself into whatever system it was put in. So you have to find the source of the worm and destroy it." Naomi explained.
"And apparently the origin of the worm wasn't at the supercomputer in Geneva, so it has to be somewhere else. The question is where though." Jeremy added.
"It could've been the Sumeragi with one of their computers. Heck! It could be any computer in the world really. But you can either study the code to see where it came from or try to trace the worm back to its source. The easiest method would be though to try and track the worm back to wherever it came from. It'll take a bit though." Naomi suggested.
"Can we get some lunch now it's chef salad for lunch today." Odd grinned.
"I don't like the play much but I really enjoy a Caesar salad with cherry tomatoes." Naomi remarked.
After 15 minutes and a debate on whether Caesar salad or chef salad was better (which Naomi won) the gang made it to the cafeteria. Ironically, Rosa, the school's cafeteria manager (and only person working in the cafeteria) decided to make Caesar salad as well.
"I'm going to do a poll. I'll ask everyone eating whether they like chef salad or Caesar salad more. If I win, you owe me a cherry soda and you'll have to eat Caesar salad for lunch. But if you win, I'll owe you a cherry soda and I'll eat a chef salad." Naomi dared.
"It's a deal." Odd confirmed.
"I have a pencil and notebook you can borrow Naomi." Jeremy notified before giving Naomi a blue notebook and a pencil.
After 5 minutes, Naomi got her results and sat down next to Ulrich smiling in content.
"Is that a fake smile because you lost to Odd the magnificent?" Odd beamed.
"More like Odd the loser because Caesar salad is the winner." Naomi teased.
"What!?" Odd cried before taking the notebook from Naomi and looking at the results.
Sure enough, the results were 55 for Caesar salad and 25 for chef salad. So, Naomi went ack and grabbed 2 Caesar salads and gave one to Odd.
"I expect my cherry soda by 3 this afternoon." Naomi informed before taking the notebook and pencil back to return them to Jeremy.
"I hope you choke on that soda." Odd fumed.
"I hope you choke on your pride so you can learn to swallow it. If you don't die on Lyoko again first that is." Naomi teased.
Everyone else at the table except Odd couldn't help but laugh. However, Sissi walked over so the fun didn't last for long.
"So, Ulrich, when will you drop the charade and admit you love me?" Sissi asked.
"Actually Sissi, Ulrich told Yumi he loved her earlier. So sorry but he's taken." Odd commented.
"Oh, so that's why William's sitting in the corner." Sissi remarked before sitting with William.
When Nicholas and Herve' noticed what was going on they tossed out their trays and left.
"That's just splendid! Now there's two people that're out to get Yumi and I." Ulrich hissed.
"We've got bigger problems to worry about guys. Like finding where that worm is so we can destroy it before Xana tries to destroy the world again." Naomi whispered.
"Naomi's right, let's go." Jeremy agreed before getting up and going to the library with his laptop along with the others.
While Jeremy, Naomi and Aelita were going over the data, Yumi, Ulrich and Odd were reading. Ulrich and Yumi were reading Romeo and Juliet while Odd was reading the adventures of Tom Sawyer.
"So, did you find anything yet Einstein?" Odd queried.
"He didn't but I just found that Jeremy and Aelita need to admit their feelings just as much as Ulrich and Yumi." Naomi remarked.
Jeremy and Aelita blushed.
"What feelings?" Aelita pondered aloud.
"The ones the dopamine are givin you and Einstein that's causin both of ya ta blush." Naomi answered.
That made the two blush even more.
"W-well, I guess I have a little bit of a crush on Aelita." Jeremy confessed.
"I love you too!" Aelita beamed as she hugged Jeremy who landed on the floor along with Aelita and his chair.
"Hey! Save throwing yourself for your enemies." Naomi teased.
Everyone snickered.
"Uh oh! If we stay here one more second we'll be late for math!" Odd panicked.
So everyone speed walked in a single file line to their classes. Jeremy gave his laptop to Naomi to make sure the program was running and to let the others know that a tower was activated just in case. So, Naomi went back home after teleporting and sat in her room looking at the computer. Naomi then noticed school was over so she went back to Kadic and gave Jeremy his laptop back.
"Ninjas!" Aelita squeaked while pointing to the park and sure enough, there were two ninjas looking at the group.
Naomi turned everybody invisible before teleporting them to the Hermitage which had an invisibility dome around it along with the factory.
