Quirk: Kinetic Thief

Wielder: Yusuke Kitagawa, AKA Fox

Fox wields a powerful, versatile, and combat-focused quirk known as Kinetic Thief. With it, Yusuke can rapidly siphon the kinetic energy and heat of an object or small area and transmute it into his power. This allows him to perform acts of unbelievable speed and energy while simultaneously slowing, cooling, and even freezing his target. Through meticulous training and discipline along with a certain natural disposition he has garnered the skill needed to rapidly accelerate, act, and decelerate with speeds in the hundreds of miles per hour. Impressively his top speed is estimated to be well over 300 miles per hour or 482 kilometers an hour - an absolutely ridiculous feat and one that often leaves his enemies and friends alike unaware of his actions until their consequences have already taken place.

His speed is dependent on the amount of energy he has siphoned, which unfortunately restricts him to where he cannot move at 300 mph every fight he gets into. His ability to siphon is directly proportional to the already existing heat and speed of an object; the faster and hotter it is the more difficult it is to siphon from but the more speed he gets in return. Siphoning kinetic energy requires focus, effort, and stillness, meaning he cannot move much himself while freezing others, only after when he converts the energy into speed.

While his top speeds are incredible and worthy of great praise, he has found that moving at these speeds proves deadly and difficult to deal with for both his enemies and himself.

Even with perfect focus and control, Yusuke is unable to actually perceive his own actions or the world around him due to his state of unbelievable speed. Because of this, he is unable to react, make different decisions, or even stop until his exactly planned route and actions have taken place. Furthermore, if he loses focus or acts in haste he is prone to mistakes. Mistakes when moving at subsonic speeds tend to be greatly exacerbated and it wouldn't be the first time Yusuke has knocked himself out of a fight by crashing through a wall or breaking several bones. He is also unable to store the energy he siphons into speed for more than a minute, which can lead to rash decisions or actions in the heat of battle. Finally, while his body is suited and adapted to moving at extreme speeds his limits tend to exhaust and strain him.

While his speed is incredible he is hardly useless without it. As previously mentioned his siphoning has a secondary effect, one detrimental to that which he siphons from. When stealing the kinetic energy and heat from an object or creature he also rapidly chills and slows said object or creature, allowing him to freeze, distract, and incapacitate enemies. This, coupled with his excellent swordplay, means that his speed is a powerful trump card but not always a necessary one.
