Once at the grand hall, Raya and Namaari were greeted by their parents who were standing over a table with a lot of papers scattered around.
"Just the two we wanted to see," said Chief Benja.
"What's so urgent, Ba?" asked Raya.
"Chief Virana and I have been thinking and we came to an agreement," said Chief Benja.
"But we want to talk to you two because it involves you," said Chief Virana.
"What is it?" asked Namaari.
"We believe you two should reveal your relationship at the ceremony, letting everyone know that you two are together all at once," said Chief Benja.
"Really?" asked a surprised Raya.
"Yes, and…," said Chief Virana before her daughter cut her off.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think Raya's ready for that yet," said Namaari before turning around and heading for the door.
"Hey, wait a minute, Namaari!" said Raya while rushing after her.
"Oh boy, sounds like they have hit a rough patch," said Chief Virana.
"It will take them no time to make up, so let's get back to talking about the ceremony," said Chief Benja. Meanwhile, out in the corridor.
"Namaari, will you stop?!" asked Raya as she grabbed the other girl's hand.
"What, you just wanted to hide earlier as we walked here so I was just telling them the truth," said Namaari while turning around to look at her and in the process she also pulled her hand away, she also revealed that she was crying.
"I did that because I don't want people starting rumors," said Raya.
"If I want people finding out about us then I want to be the one telling them, not a bunch of people who have no clue what they are talking about," she said while taking hold of Namaari's hands.
"So, you don't want to hide?" asked Namaari.
"Of course not, I love you too much to keep hiding and would love nothing more than to tell everyone," said Raya before kissing her.
"Whoa," came a voice that scared them.
"Did not see that coming," said Boun who stood there with Tong and Little Noi.
"Guess it makes sense to tell them first," said Namaari as she and Raya stood there, faces bright red from embarrassment.
