While waiting for her turn, Naomi told everyone about one of her missions with the Lyoko team.
"It's as if the gun was tellin' me ta take the shot." Naomi spoke.
"Man, that musta been some heck of a mission." Zeno laughed.
"Your turn Naomi." Lumen notified.
Naomi got up and looked at the karaoke machine to see what song she could sing. Since there was nothing of interest to Naomi, she used her Azure Striker Septima to get a song she knew on the machine. Mytyl was entranced by her elder sister's singing. When Naomi finished singing, she looked up, opened her eyes and was surprised to see that her singing fascinated more than her intended audience. People sitting at other tables had their eyes fixated on the white haired wonder.
"Was it something I said?" Naomi wondered while looking at Zeno.
Just then, the people who were staring stood up and began applauding. Naomi was wide eyed and in shock for a moment before scurrying back to her table where her friends were applauding her still.
"This wasn't part of the plan! At least the Sumeragi doesn't know I'm here." Naomi muttered with her head down.
"Want some mochi? It's sakura with red bean paste." Zeno offered.
"Thanks." Naomi thanked before grabbing a pink sakura shaped mochi and taking a bite out of it.
"That, was, awesome! You were on fire boss!" Lola complimented.
"I'd rather the fire from the Thermonuclear facility. At least I'd get a kick outta it." Naomi rambled.
"Why'd ya come then if ya didn't wanna be here?" Zeno asked.
"You thought it'd be cool. And if you were upset your work ethic would be down. I can't stand seein' anyone be sad. Especially if it's my fault or somethin' I can fix." Naomi explained.
"So, ya only came cause ya were worried about havin' extra work?" Zeno theorized.
"Yeah." Naomi confirmed.
"Then why'd ya get your vacation days taken off for the most part if ya don't want any extra work?" Zeno pondered.
"So I could avoid being at home. But to keep some of the trouble off my back for a bit I brought her." Naomi elucidated before pointing to Mytyl.
Back with the Lyoko group, they were sleeping. Aelita was on her 4th night of having nightmares in a row but didn't want to tell anyone and cause worrying amongst the group. Aelita was running from black wolves with her Mr. Puck doll. When the wolves cornered her, Aelita shot up, wide awake and scared. Suddenly, Aelita received a phone call from Jeremy, the sound frightening her for a mere second before realizing where the sound was coming from and answering her phone.
"Hello?" Aelita greeted.
"Aelita? I wasn't expecting you to pick up the call." Jeremy answered.
"I've just been up thinking." Aelita fibbed.
"I've been thinking too. Naomi said S-FIT was rebuilt recently and we saw it. She said there was data in there that could help her, I was thinking we could get it for her." Jeremy supposed.
"But she told us not to because the fight against the Sumeragi was hers and hers alone." Aelita remembered.
"We'll just say there was some data we needed too so we got it all at once." Jerem informed.
"We helped her get the data already too. There's probably going to be more soldiers in the building too. Plus they'll constantly be adding new data to their servers." Aelita notified.
"That's true, I didn't think about that. Maybe Xana knows about something we can do about that." Jeremy commented.
"If you're going to think about that then I'm going to bed. Goodnight Jeremy." Aelita announced.
"Goodnight Aelita." Jeremy finished before ending the call.
