Soon, the Lyoko warriors woke up and were eating breakfast. Naomi noticed the group and sat with them.
"Hey guys." Naomi greeted.
"You don't look like you're having a good morning. What happened?" Yumi worried.
"Would you believe me if I told ya'll that I woke up to Mytyl's stuffed rabbit swingin its legs and talkin ta me? Turns out it was Xana usin the rabbit to communicate with me. Why the heck he didn't use my computer again is anyone's guess. Prolly cause he was tellin me bout Tryon payin a visit to Mr. Schaeffer and he didn't want anyone trackin us. He told me that all while sittin up on my desk when I left it on its back last night." Naomi wondered.
"Well, we could believe you about it sitting up and swinging its legs." Odd agreed.
"But a stuffed animal talking is a whole other story." Ulrich added.
"You don't remember Xana's first attack when he possessed Milly's teddy bear? It growled and moved. It could even look in different directions." Yumi remembered.
"That's true, I completely forgot about that." Jeremy noted.
"But why did he tell you this stuff and not us?" Ulrich interrogated.
"Cause he knew ya'll wouldn't believe him." Naomi answered.
"So, are there any other things he told you that we should know about?" Aelita questioned.
"Nope, nothin else at the moment." Naomi respponded.
Just then, a boy none of them had ever seen before ran over to them. He was wearing a black hoodie with red and white horizontal striped strings, red on the top half of the sleeves, black pants with red front pockets and black boots with 2 red diagonal stripes going from left to right. His eyes were a chilling blue and his height was 5'7.
"Hi, can we help you?" Ulrich asked.
"There's an emergency on Lyoko. The ninjas have breached the sectors." The boy notified.
"You, us, outside now." Naomi snarled.
"The boy nodded before him and the others were in the park talking.
"You don't remember me? Even you Naomi?" The boy worried.
"Wait, Xana? You haven't aged a bit! Oh wait, what am I sayin?" Naomi laughed.
"Hold on, how did you realize it was him?" Odd wondered.
"Xana and I were experimented on at the same time for the same reason. He was one of the four successful test subjects for Project Gunvolt. Nova was used for the project too but when he tried to use the Azure Striker it was too much for him and he passed out. That's why he has Psychokinesis instead." Naomi elucidated.
"Who knows? You guys just might be next." Xana teased.
"I hate to agree with him but Xana's right, associating with Adepts is pretty much the same if not the exact same as signing a death warrant." Naomi confirmed.
The others gave Naomi a quizzical look.
"Basically what Naomi's saying is just knowing we exist drastically increases your chances of being experimented on by the Sumeragi for Septima's. Septima's are so powerful that most of the test subjects, no matter the Septima, die." Xana explained.
"Is there a Septima that can erase our memories of meeting you guys and we can just go back to living normal lives?" Odd hoped.
"I wish it was that simple. If it was I'd give myself amnesia, dye my hair instead of that stupid wig Nori gave me. Get a pair of contacts that look somewhat normal, change my wardrobe and personality." Naomi retorted.
"It's that bad huh?" Ulrich theorized.
Naomi nodded.
"I've been waking up with random cuts and bruises lately so I don't know what the heck's goin on. "I'm starting to worry that I'm gettin experimented on while I sleep. After we finish off those ninjas, if they haven't gotten what they're lookin for while we were here runnin off at the mouth, I'll go see if that's what's been goin on." Naomi assured.
So the group went to the Factory. When Yumi, Naomi, Aelita, Xana, Ulrich and Odd landed on Lyoko, they were all seperated.
"Jeremy, where the heck is everyone else? I don't see anybody 'cept me, myself and I." Naomi commented.
"I thought everyone could take a different sector. Yumi's in the mountain sector, you're in the forest region, Aelita's in sector five, Xana's in the cortex, Ulrich's in the desert and Odd's in the ice sector." Jeremy informed.
"There she is! Open fire!" A male voice shouted.
"What the heck!?" Naomi shrieked as she dodged oncoming fire.
Naomi used her Gravity Well Septima to lift herself into the air and see who was attacking her. Naomi was shocked when she noticed it was human Sumeragi soldiers with laser guns and rocket launchers. There were 3 with laser guns and 5 with rocket launchers.
"Yo Einstein I got Sumeragi gunners and rocket launchers on my six!" Naomi hollered as she used a Luxcalibur to slice all of the soldiers down at once.
"What!? That should be impossible! Last time we checked and even after sifting through all that data from the Datastore we didn't see anything about them having scanners!" Jeremy complained.
