First day of school today, I was ready for it. I was thirsty, so I drank some water before turning off my car. I got out, grabbed my bag and headed in. I headed through the building to the yard, where I then headed to my dorm. Shiver, my girlfriend and roommate, was already there. "Hey love! About time you showed up." Shiver said, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Yeah, sorry I took so long, I was just really exhausted or else I would've been here yesterday." I said. "It's okay, don't worry. All that matters is that you're here now." She said, cheering me up a bit. "Well I'm glad you're not mad, I wouldn't want to have 500 missed calls from you, you know you're like that." I said. "Yeahhh, you know I worry for you a lot, I mean c'mon you know I'm clingy!" Shiver said. "Yeah I know, that's why you're so special to me. You're also short too, Don't forget that." I said jokingly. "HEY! NOBODY TALKS ABOUT MY HEIGHT! But you are my girlfriend soooooo, you're an exception." She said, changing from an angry to sheepish tone. 'Heh, you know you like it when I call you short." I said. "It shows my dominance to you, just joking!" "Well, maybe to me it isn't a jokeeee…" Shiver said. "Whatever you say." I go over to my desk and sit down, setting up my Macbook Pro. I turn it on and login, and I start to do some work unrelated to school, since school at this point barely gives us any work. While I'm working, Shiver gives me a quick kiss on the cheek. She didn't disturb me though, since she knows I can get very busy. I blush a bit at this, and smile as I keep working. About 2 hours later, I finish my work and close my laptop, getting up. Shiver is in the kitchen part of our dorm eating ramen, so I decide to make myself a cup and join her. I head into the kitchen and grab a cup, as I look to grab a pot to boil water however, I notice the pot is still on the stove, with some water left in it. I smiled a bit at Shiver, who had surprisingly not noticed me yet. I pour the water in the cup and wait 3 minutes, after that time I grab the cup and head over to sit with Shiver. She seems surprised to see me, but is also delighted. She blows me a kiss as I start to eat. "Well nice to see you darling.' She says. "Yeah, thought I'd join you since you were eating alone." I said. "Well, I think it's cute that you came to eat with me, I really appreciate it." She said, blushing a bit. "Hey! I'm not cute! You are!" I said. "Oh come onn, you know you're the cutest!" Shiver said. "Nope you are. And that's final." I said. "FIneeee, you win this time, but I shall prevail next time!" She said before laughing. I started laughing too. After we ate it was pretty late so we decided to lay down. I got in the bed, on the right side since Shiver lays on the left. This night though, she ended up laying right in my arms, forcing me to cuddle her pretty much. I didn't mind though, and hugged her all night as we fell asleep.
