I've been locked in my room. For about a day now. Shiver, Kara, Lily, and Abigail had tried to convince me to leave, but I stayed where I was. I couldn't take it, what I had to experience was too much for me. They stayed right outside my door however, not leaving until I came out. "Honey, please come out.. We miss you.." Shiver said. "Yeah, we can go in the treehouse if you want.." Kara said. "I know the battle was rough, but it's over.." Lily said. "I might've been eliminated, but at least I didn't die or something.." Abigail said. "Not helping!" Lily snapped. "Sorry.." Abigail said. Their voices were all muffled to me, as they were outside my door. I just sat, looking in my mirror. My fur was frizzy, my eyes were spiraling, and I was foaming from the mouth. I felt my wild urges, as in my animal instincts starting to kick in. But then.. They took me over.. And I couldn't take it…

Shiver's POV

I was outside of Delphox's door, waiting for her to come out. Lily, Kara, and Abigail were beside me, waiting as well. Suddenly, we heard the door handle rattle super hard. Then it burst open, Del rushing out on all fours. She ran out the door, thankfully not damaging it, but it burst open. I could only watch as she ran into the forest. "Come on! We have to go find her!" I said. "Okay, we're behind you!" Kara said as the rest started following me. We started rushing deep into the forest, listening for any sound other than our loud footsteps on the crunchy leaves. After a while, we started walking and listening. I heard a low growl, then suddenly, I was pounced on, I don't remember what happened before I passed out.

Delphox's POV

When I came back to my senses, I was in a forest. Lily, Abigail, and Kara were to the side, seeming scared. I wiped my mouth and saw blood in my fur, which made me scared. I looked down and to my horror, I saw Shiver there. She was passed out, and had a bite mark on her leg. I.. I had bit her.. I didn't even know how to feel at that moment, I was so shocked, worried, scared, and felt guilty. If there was one word to describe me at that moment, it would be distraught. "It wasn't me.. I had no control.." I stuttered. "We know.. We're just so shocked.." Kara said. I immediately grabbed Shiver and ran her back to the house. I applied some medicine to her wound before wrapping it up and putting her in my bed. I didn't know what had gotten into me. I felt the academy had something to do with it though. What they made us do on the island didn't sit right with me, and I was now destined to get revenge. I wanted to go back to that island, but I couldn't think of how to, or where it even was. "Hey Kara, can you help me with something? Lily, Abigail, watch Shiver for me." I said. Lily and Abigail nodded and headed upstairs to aid Shiver, while Kara came downstairs to see me. "Hm? What's up?" Kara said. "Do you know if you can find the island from the academy's battle royale thingy?" I asked. "Sure can, just give me a few places on the island." Kara said, pulling out his laptop. "Well, there's Tilted Towers, Loot Lake, Pleasant Pa-" "Found it." He said. "Huh? That fast?" I said. He turned his laptop to me, and it showed an image of Raymond, a popular director in Los Angeles and an old friend of mine back when he lived in Atlanta. "I don't think that's an island." I said. "Oh! Don't mind that image.." He said before opening Safari. There it showed a satellite of an island about 14 miles off the coast of Los Angeles. This location made me think about how we got there so fast, but I didn't think about it too hard. "Seems right to me." I said. "So how do we get there?" "Long process, but we can always just get a plane." Kara said. "I see. Well, this is a big plan, so we shouldn't rush anything, let's plan it out first." I said. "Agreed." Kara said. Suddenly, I heard Lily call out. "Delphox! Up here! Shiver's awake!" I immediately rushed upstairs and in my room. There she was. She was in a daze, but awake nonetheless. "W..Where am I..?" Shiver stuttered. "You're home baby.." I said, rubbing her forehead. Shiver smiled a bit, turning her head slightly toward me. "Hi.. Honey…" She muttered. "Hi sweetie…" I said. I took my hand off her head and let her drift back off to sleep. She was clearly tired, and I didn't want to barge in on anything. As I headed back downstairs, Kara was down there, eating a sandwich. "Hey.. Why are you going to make a sandwich.." I said. He looked back at me, a bit worried. "I'm sorry.. I was just a little hungry.." He apologized. "Don't be sorry.. I was just going to say, why are you going to make a sandwich without me? I'm hungry too!" I said, laughing a bit. "Oh! Yeah sorry, I just made it cause I was hungry, didn't know you were too. I can whip you up a peanut butter and jelly!" He said, switching back to his happy go lucky mood. "I'd love that!" I said. Kara nodded and headed to the pantry to get the stuff. "You know Kara, I consider you my siste- brother! I mean." I said. "No it's okay, you can use the term sister. I don't mind!" Kara said, smiling at me. His ears were all perked up as well. "So.. fem terms no pronouns?" I asked. "Eh, you're close enough for me to not really mind." He said, pretty happily. "Noted. Well anywho, you want me to make us some coffee?" I asked. "Delphox, you know you do not need coffee! You'll end up going feral again!" Kara said. "Yeah, I guess you're right.." I said, sighing. "Say uh, are there any pills to control my feral side?" "Hmm, I think there's Ferrocontrol." He said. "I can get you some from the pharmacy!" "Worth a shot, also how nice of you." I said, smiling."Hey, it's the least I can do for my little sister!" He said. "Yeah, I suppose- wait a second, you're a year younger than me! I ain't your younger sister!" I said frustrated. Kara just laughed at me, as he had wanted to see if I noticed. "You should've seen the look on your face, it was priceless!" He said. "Man, I'm gonna get you back soon!" I said. After that, he gave me my sandwich, even decrusting it like I prefer. He sat at the table with me and grabbed his MacBook, using it for something I couldn't see. He seemed to be enjoying himself though. I ate my sandwich, scrolling on my phone randomly. That's when I saw something that threw me off. Well, caught me off guard at least. Raymond had texted me. Like the director. I knew he had my number, since I had given it to him when I had first got an iPhone 4, but we hadn't talked since 2020 before he got famous, so I was confused. I opened the message. "Heya Dolphin. It's been a while." That's when I texted back. At exactly 09:42, I said,"Hey RayRay, what's up?"
