When I awoke, Shiver and Kara were laying next to me. They were cuddling me tight, like a stuffed animal. They must've been crying for a long time, because I could still feel some tears running down my fur. They must've fallen asleep recently as well, as the tears were still wet. I felt a little bad for everything that we've recently been through, so I decided to get me, Shiver, Kara, Lily, Abigail, and even Raymond to Florida. It's where my mom was originally born, and a place I've wanted to go for the longest time. I decided to get out of bed slowly and let them rest. I was still in the shirt I had been wearing that night, which was a green flannel. I wasn't wearing pants however, which I got a bit embarrassed over. I decided to just skip over taking a shower and brushed my fur, before heading into my closet and putting on something else. I wore a Kuromi shirt with some black jeans instead of tights, as I didn't want my lower half to be exaggerated. I grabbed my keys and headed out, getting in my car. I didn't start it yet however, as I need to call Raymond first. The conversation was long and boring, but he agreed to fly out to Orlando. After I hung up, I drove toward the east side of town, where Lily and Abigail lived. When I got to their house, I knocked on the door, smiling kinda cheeky. Lily was the one who opened the door, and was surprised to see me. She was wearing her glasses and a school dress. "Heya. I just came by to ask something." I said. "Sure! What's up?" She asked. "Do you and Abigail wanna go on a trip to… Orlando?" I said. She stopped for a second, but I could tell she was building up excitement. "R-really?" She said, shaking a bit. "Mhm. I figured we should do something as a group since things haven't been the best lately…" I said, sighing. "Well, we'd love to!" LIly said, her ears perking up. Abigail came from downstairs, clearly tired still. "Huh, what are you lot talking about?" She asked, confused. "We're going to Orlando Abby!" Lily said excitedly. "OMG REALLY?" Abigail said. "YEAH! DELPHOX IS BRINGING THE WHOLE GROUP!" Lily exclaimed. "YAYYYY! I'LL PACK MY BAGS" Abigail said before jolting upstairs. "Clearly yall are excited. Just come to the airport at 4." I said. "Sure are! We'll be at the airport at 4, just like you said!" Lily said before I walked out and got back in my car. I drove back home, and headed back inside. I heard snoring that I immediately recognized as Shiver's. I didn't know where Kara was, until he scared me from behind. "Boo!" He said. As per instincts, I immediately got into a defensive position and snarled, before I realized it was Kara and went back to normal. "Hey! Don't scare me like that!" I said, a little irritated. "Sorry sorry, I forgot you're so defensive." He said. "Also, like my outfit?" I took a closer look at his outfit. He was wearing a bikini with an overly large sunhat, perfect for the pool. "It's nice but, why are you wearing pool stuff?" I asked. "Well, a little birdie told me we were going to Orlando so, I had to prepare." He said. I didn't question who the birdie was, I just asked, "Do you at least have a suitcase? And what about Shiver?" "All done!" Shiver said coming down the stairs with 2 suitcases. They clearly had both heard from this birdie that we were going to Orlando. I just sighed and started to get my stuff together.
A few hours later in Florida..
We had just gotten to the hotel we were staying at, which was a Travelodge near Universal. We had gotten 2 rooms and split them. Me, Shiver, Kara and Raymond would take the first one, while Lily and Abigail got the other. When we got in the room, it wasn't too bad of a room. There were 2 beds, a TV, a bathroom, and some other things. When we were splitting the beds up though, it became a tough decision to make. I know Shiver and Kara were smaller than me, so they'd try to cuddle on one bed with me while Raymond slept on the other. But I just decided on sleeping with Shiver and Kara, but also Raymond. We pushed the beds together, essentially making a big bed. I slept in the middle, while Shiver and Kara were on my right side, Raymond on my left. After we decided on that, we all grouped up at the pool to do some classic old swimming. As we all went in, we got to see each other's outfits. Shiver had on a special type of bathing suit that would let her swim, as she couldn't be in too much water normally. Kara was wearing the bikini she had shown me earlier that day. Raymond was just wearing swim trunks, nothing special. Lily and Abigail were wearing matching trans swimsuits, pretty cool honestly. I myself didn't wear a bathing suit, as I really didn't want to swim. I just wore my kimono and a sunhat. As we got to the pool, almost everyone jumped in, just splashing around and having fun. I was on the side, laying in the sun on one of those slanted chairs that I don't know the name of. It overall was a good time, just us enjoying the pool. In the pool, Kara and Shiver were playing Marco Polo, while Raymond, Lily, and Abigail were playing with water guns. As much as I didn't want to go in, I wanted to get it. So I took my kimono off, revealing my swimsuit underneath that I had worn just in case. "Cannonball!" I said before cannonballing into the pool. "Woah!" Kara said before I hit the water. As I hit, I made a super big splash, getting pretty much everyone wet in the process. After I was in, I started swimming around, but in reality I was looking to take a water gun from Lily under the water. I did, and she was confused when it disappeared into the water. Then, I popped out and started squirting her. "Hey! Quit it!" She said, laughing. "Nope! Not happening!" I said. "Don't think you're safe Delphox!" Raymond added before he started squirting me with his water gun. It was really fun, as even Kara, Shiver, and Abigail joined us. After the day was done, we all showered and decided to go on a nice boat ride around a river. As we were on the boat, we were having a nice time, just enjoying ourselves. But suddenly, the boat jolted, sending me, Kara, and Raymond flying off and into the river. Raymond managed to scramble back on, as well as Kara. But just as I was crawling on, the boat went into full gear without any of us controlling it. The sudden force sent me flying off again as my friends and girlfriend disappeared down the river. As I hit the water, I felt my body go into a state of shock, as I passed out.
