I woke up, somewhere unfamiliar. A few familiar faces were looking over me, some new. There was Orisa, Kara, Lily, Raymond, Honey, and a new face of someone who seemed like a doctor. "Ugh… Where am I.." I said slowly. "It's okay, you're in good hands." The doctor said. "Who are you?" I asked, slowly lifting myself up. "My name is Angela Ziegler, but call me Mercy!" She said. "You're currently at a hospital at a camp in South Dakota, you were pretty badly hurt. It's a miracle your arm survived the blast, in a somewhat solid form." I was confused on what she meant, so I looked at my right arm, normal. I looked at my left arm though, and it was covered up by what seemed to be a special metallic type of leather. I lifted it up to see pure lava, my arm was pure lava. I put the leather coating back on quickly, as to not burn anything or anyone. "You'll be okay, just don't take that off! Even when you have contact with water!" Mercy said. I nodded and just looked at the others. They all looked happy to see me awake, but I was still confused about the circumstances that got me here. "What happened in Florida?" I asked Kara. "Well, as you finished speaking, a bomb that was planted next to the pool blew up, knocking us pretty far and onto the ground. All of us other than Abigail got pretty bad injuries, however Mercy here fixed us up one way or another. I mean look! I have a robot arm!" Kara explained before showing off his robotic arm. "But continuing, the bomb was the start of an uprising in the United States, the government versus the Gauntlet, a group who aims to destroy the government, which they're making scarily good progress on. They also built a tower in Washington DC where each of the members live, so I wouldn't say the government will be around much longer." "Woah, that explains a lot, but what happened to Abigail and Shiver? They're the only ones not here.." I asked worriedly. "Well, this is going to hurt, but Shiver has been missing since the initial blast, and Abigail was impaled by a piece of flying debris." Kara said before going dead silent. I just sat there in shock. Knowing two of my friends, one being my girlfriend, had just been so unlucky, hurt me mentally. I now had to live with the PTSD of that explosion. And live I would, as I would be here for a long long while.
