"She what!? There's no way!" Odd denied.

"I'm sorry you fell for it. There's no way someone like you wouldn't fall for that though." Ulrich mocked.

"So, she really doesn't want to be with me and did that just to keep me quiet? And so I'd stop dating? Altogether until I'm eighteen?" Odd interrogated.

"She thought it'd help you focus on missions." Jeremy explained.

"I, I can't believe it. After all this time, has anyone else known about this!?" Odd yelled as the girls walked over.

"We didn't want to tell you because you seemed so happy. Naomi doesn't have interest in a relationship and says she never will. Especially with what she just figured out about herself. It's way too risky." Aelita elucidated.

"All of you have been hiding the truth from me this entire time!?" Odd hollered angrily.

The others could only hang their heads in shame and guilt as Odd walked the other way towards the factory.

"We'd better call Naomi, maybe she can help before things get out of hand. Because I have a feeling things are bound to escalate pretty quick." Yumi recommended.

"Nah, I'm certain that's what Odd's going do right now." Ulrich assured.

Ulrich was correct in his judgement. Looking up at the turrets as he walked in, Odd began to sniffle as he wiped the precipitation from his face with his right shirt sleeve. When he was finally at the lab in the chair, Odd called Naomi over the computer.

"Hey Odd, I wanted ta thank ya again for the drink. Uh, somethin' wrong? Ya look upset." Naomi greeted.

"D-did you really say you'd date me just so I'd do better on Lyoko? So I'd stop asking you about it and so I'd stop getting in trouble for it?" Odd interrogated.

"We all agreed it'd be best for the group and future endeavours." Naomi confessed.

Odd's eyes widened in shock.

"I don't want to see you, talk to you or hear from you ever again. We're through." Odd snarled.

Naomi ended the call as she rolled her eyes. Sitting back in her chair with her feet on her desk sucking on a pomegranate flavored lollipop, Naomi decided to call Jeremy to see if he knew about Odd's outburst.

"Hello?" Jeremy spoke.

"Ay Einstein, ya know Odd jsut called me askin' if I knew 'bout an the others knownin' bout ma reasons for supposeldy datin' him." Naomi answered, using air quotes for supposedly.

"Yeah, he did at the factory. I hope nothing happened to him." Jeremy confirmed.

"He said he didn't wanna see, talk or hear from me ever again. Hehe, l'il does he know." Naomi laughed.

"One thing's for sure, he'll have to put up with it. We have a lot to do if we want to defeat the Sumeragi." Jeremy agreed.

"And now we have a new problem. Ya heard of Eden?" Naomi added.

"The biblical garden?" Jeremy wondered.

"Nah man, the Adept supremacist group." Naomi replied.

"Oh, nobody told me about them." Jeremy remembered.

"Boss says a rumor's been goin round that their base is somewhere in Tashkent." Naomi noted.

"If you want I can look into it." Jeremy offered.

"It's aight, the QUILL branch near there's handin' out info for the other branches." Naomi assured.

"That's in Uzbekistan." Jeremy noticed.

"Aelita's not here so ya don't need ta flex your mental muscles." Naomi remarked.

"So, how's your day been?" Jeremy wondered as he tried to stop blushing and get Aelita off his mind.

"It's been aight, how 'bout yours?" Naomi spoke.

"It was going great until Odd figured everything out. I thought he'd never catch onto your plan." Jeremy douted.

"I know right? Me either honestly. The guy's smarter than he lets on." Naomi joked.

"Well, I'd better go." Jeremy supposed.

"Me too, the boss thinks I might have two more Septimas it seems. Zeno just texted me and it says that." Naomi stated.

Naomi ended the call to reply to Zeno's text message.

Is he 4 real? Srsly tho, there's no way here, on Firmament or any other planet that I have two more Septimas.

I dunno bout it either but that's what he says.

Ya think that's a good thing?

Well now ya got all the S plus rank Septimas so I guess so?

Naomi laughed at the comment.

Lol, it's cool, the more Septimas the better. How's the Septima weaknesses research goin?

So far there's quite a bit. I can send ya the link for the list.

I'd appreciate it. Boss say if I can come back ta work yet?

Yeah man, ya were supposed ta be here at least forty six minutes ago.

Naomi looked at her clock on her phone and saw it said 7:46.

Aw frick I'm late! I'll be right there!

Naomi turned off her phone and teleported to work. Naomi stormed over to Zeno who had his back turned to her and she pinched his right shoulder. Zeno turned around shocked and holding the pinched shoulder.

"Hey man ya didn't have ta do that! What the heck was that for anyways!?" Zeno ranted.

"Why didn't ya tell me earlier that I shoulda been at work!?" Naomi fumed.

"Cause you're supposed ta do that for yourself." Zeno remarked.

"I was talkin' to ya so I got distracted." Naomi huffed.

"So that's why you're late. No matter, we have a bigger problem to deal with." Asimov spoke.

"Ninety ta nothin' it's gotta do with why GV ain't here?" Naomi noticed.

"We sent him to collect data on what they're doing for Glaive research." Moniqa explained.

"They take a probability factor test with Septimosome found in the blood. Then they implant a Septima into the person an see if it works. Now can we get him back or are you gonna try an see the secret ta their Septima implantin'?" Naomi remarked.

"That might help us discover a way to stop the Sumeragi from creating more Adepts." Asimov supposed.

"Please tell me ya aren't plannin' on sendin' the poor fella ta S-FIT-." Naomi sighed as she covered her face with her hands.

"It'd be best to see if they're hiding something there." Asimov noted.

"It's frickin S-FIT of course they're hidin' somethin!" Naomi ranted.

"It's been quiet here Asimov, no signs of enemy activity." Gunvolt informed.

"They have ta be plottin' somethin' then. But the question is what though." Naomi rambled.

"Maybe they are plotting something at S-FIT. GV, we need you to go by the future institute of technology and see if they're up to something." Moniqa asked.

"On it, I'll let you know if I find anything." Gunvolt confirmed.

"Wait! I'll go! I'll do it! Send him back here. We can't risk him betting captured. I did recon there and remember the layout so I'll go. I think I still have my old ID so I can go home, grab and use it to deactivate the laser traps and any other obstacles I come across." Naomi protested.

"Okay, GV, you can come back. Naomi will take your place to explore S-FIT." Asimov stated.
