Naomi decided one Christmas she would give Mytyl her old kindle which was an original. Naomi purchased the entire set of Skyward books which were a particular favorite of hers. Naomi placed the lolipop gently on her sisters bedside table beneath her lamp. After returning to her room, Naomi sat on her bed sucking on a tootsie roll. As she decided about whether or not to do something, Lola landed on Naomi's bed.

Naomi grabbed Lola from the foot her bed and rolled her with her left index finger.

"What are you thinking about boss?" Lola wondered.

"There's a file of me an my Septimas downstairs in the basement. I'm really tempted ta get it an burn it after lookin' at the info." Naomi rambled.

"Yay! Our first ever super secret spy mission!" Lola squealed.

"Sh! The first rule a bein' a spy is ta keep the mission ssuper secret!" Naomi hushed.

Lola bobbed up and down, her way of nodding when not in Muse Mode as it was called.

"We strike at midnight." Naomi smirked.

Naomi went to bed at 9 as to not arouse suspicions but awoke at midnight. She placed Lola in her charger. After going into the basement on the last stair, Naomi's target was in sight. A 5 box high metal filing cabinet with a lock beneath each handle.

Damn it, where's the key? Naomi pondered as she looked around.

After 11 PM, there were invisible lasers, infrared, on the floor to notify if an intruder was in the building. Naomi used her sword to turn on the light by pushing the switch up with the blade. Naomi looked aorund but didn't see the key. Deciding the key may be in a drawer or on a shelf somewhere, Naomi decided to attempt parkour.

She jumped on a stepping stool Mytyl used to watch Copen perform maintinence on Lola before hopping onto the work bench. After using her Gravity Well Septima to move every object she could, Naomi concluded the key wasn't there. After doing her parkour and stood on the last step, Naomi turned the light back off as she walked up the stairs. When she got on the base floor, Naomi was startled completely awake by someone talking.

"Looking for something?" A male voice questioned.

Naomi looked around to find the location of the speaker. She was hoping to avoid them and go back to her room. Naomi turned her phone light on and searched for the staircase leading upstairs. Luckily, her phone literally didn't shine any light on the unknown person.

As soon as she found the staircase, Naomi turned her phone light off and speed walked for the staircase. Naomi had her hands in front of her so she wouldn't run into the starcase or possible intruder. when she found it, Naomi grabbed the rail and held on tightly while walking as quietly and quickly as she could. After reaching the safety of her room, Naomi barricaded her door with her chair.

She put the blade of her sword above the right chair arm and under the left one while putting the corner where the blade met the handle above her doorknob. Naomi hid under her covers and lay alone in silence until 2 AM. Naomi unwillingly gave up the war against sleep deprivation. The next morning, Naomi woke up and stretched before remembering what happened last night and covering herself with her blanket over her head.

Naomi then heard knocking coming from the opposite side of her door.

"Who is it?" Naomi squeaked frightfully.

"I came to inform you Quinn came by earlier this morning to see if you would hep her with a puzzle. Is there a reason why the door is locked?" Nori answered.

"Sorry, rough night." Naomi apologized as she moved her chair and opened the door for Nori. She handed Naomi a tray with 3 chocolate chocolate chip muffins on it with a glass of chocolate milk. Naomi happily ate her breakfast then changed into her work uniform.

"Nori, do you think it'd be okay if I slept over at a friends house tonight?" Naomi wondered.

"Yumi or Aelita's?" Nori questioned.

"Aelita's, you know what? Quinn doesn't mind, I'll spend the night at her house." Naomi replied.

"Good luck with your mission." Nori added.

"Thanks, I'll see you tomorrow." Naomi thanked as she walked to work.

When she got to the 8th floor, Naomi was startled when she got there. Naomi saw what appeared to be a note on her desk.

Quinn was wondering if you'd help her finish the puzzle. Joule and I are going too after work. She's talking to Xiao right now.

The note said GV on the bottom though from the mention of Joule, Naomi already knew who put the yellow sticky not on her desk.

Does he think I'm stupid? Naomi genuinely wondered.

Naomi then walked over to Xiao and Quinn.

"Hi Naomi, I didn't see you earlier so I told Nori about the puzzle. What do you think?" Quinn greeted.

"I think something's wrong with the building if you were able to get in." Naomi joked.

"The system's given us trouble before regarding idenification. We removed that but the cameras and emergency shutters are still in place." Moniqa informed.

"I've got a bit of an odd question for you Quinn." Naomi stated.

"Sure, um, what is it?" Quinn wondered.

"Can I spend the night at your place?" Naomi queried.

"Of course! With GV and Joule not coming as much as they used to it'd be nice to have some company again." Quinn smiled.

"Did something happen?" Xiao pondered.

"I, Quinn I need your ghost seeing powers too. I think there's a ghost haunting my house. Last night I went to look for something in the basement. When I got upstairs I heard someone ask me if I was looking for something. So I ran to my room and barricaded the door. That's why I was hoping it'd be okay to spend the night at your place then you could come over to mine and help me get rid of that ghost. I know! After work we can go to that shrine and get some charms to ward off evil spirits! I'll buy them all out if I have ta!" Naomi suggested.

"Do you mind if I tag along?" Moniqa queried.

"By all means please do!" Naomi answered.

"I'm goin' by there later for a video game promo they're doin' for a shrine maiden character." Zeno announced.

Lumen appeared and joined in on the conversation.

"Joule and GV are going later too." Lumen notified.

"All we're missing is Xiao and the boss." Naomi joked.

"Maybe you could bring Mytyl." Quinn suggested.

"There's a charm that's been passed down in the family for generations but whihc side had it first is beyond me. I forgot why we have it. I think it's for good luck. It's supposed to be some kind of enchanted bell." Naomi explained.

"We have to reorganize the files today." Moniqa informed.

"Ugh, it'll take AT LEAST a millenia to sort em all! If I stick 'round long enough ta sort em all I'm expectin' a hefty check or decently lengthy vacatioin." Naomi huffed.

When all of the file work was done, Moniqa got an alert on her monitor.
