Naomi was excited to finally return to work. However, after fully waking up, Naomi was frozen in place. Deciding whether to go back home or face the work ahead of her. Already knowning what she had to do, Naomi walked to work with her two shirts in hand. She was worried, looking down at the shirts in her hands in the elevator. One had brass round buttons with similar shape to a mushroom while the other was the shirt she wore during her time working for the Sumeragi. She brought the one with the buttons since everyone that wore a uniform had a black no pattern jacket with gold looking buttons. A short sleeve shirt wouldn't be any different. After much thought, Naomi was going to wear the shirt with the buttons on it. To match, Naomi decided to wear her hair down, black tear drop shaped earrings, a black choker, a black bracelet, her black pants and black boots that were knee high with three gold buckles that were on the side of the foot the shoe went on. She was so scared and ansty that she barely managed to use her phone to call home.

"Nori, what's the first sign your boss is a psychopath?" Naomi whispered.

"What's wrong? Do you need me to pick you up?" Nori worried.

"Asimov is having me surrender myself to the Sumeragi later for a mission. I don't know why he's doing that but I know I'd rather quit right now than do that." Naomi worried.

"It's understandable if you want to quit your job. I'll see what I can do." Nori answered before ending the call.

Naomi talked with Moniqa, Asimov and Zeno to see which shirt she'd wear since Naomi only decided in her mind which shirt she'd wear.

"I think the one with the buttons would be better so it'd match the uniform buttons. What do you think Asimov?" Moniqa stated.

"If you wore the long sleeve shirt before while you were working for the Sumeragi then that'd be the better one to wear." Asimov suggested.

Naomi nodded before going home to change. She wore the earrings and pants but swapped the choker for a black barrette to keep the hair from dropping in front of her eye. Then, she said something she never expected anyone to do, least of all herself. She ratted out Asimov's plan to Dr. Kamizono.

"I'll talk to him. And to think he'd never stoop so low as to expose his own employees to the same suffering he experienced." Dr. Kamizono muttered.

Naomi nodded before proceeding her long walk to work. On the way there, she met up with Gunvolt and Joule.

"Asimov shouldn't be forcing you to do this. It just isn't right." Gunvolt fumed.

"I told Nori was thinkin' about quittin'." Naomi stated.

"Maybe you could take your two week vacation back." Gunvolt supposed.

"Knowin' the boss I'd need ta make it two years." Naomi seethed.

"Maybe you could just tell him you don't want to do the mission?" Joule advised.

"Asimov's not like that Joule. Any mission we get we have to follow through with." Gunvolt denied.

"But you were ordered to kill us yet Asimov gave you your job back didn't he?" Lumen remembered.

"That's true. You know what? Merak was told that if he killed you then he'd get a three year vacation, paid too. Maybe I''ll walk into work and demand a three year vacation for all the torment and suffering they gave me." Naomi commented.

"Well, we're here." Gunvolt announced.

"The backup can't get here soon enough." Naomi whispered fearfully.

Gunvolt, Lumen and Joule all looked at Naomi questioningly.

"Backup? What kind of backup? You haven't been working undercover for the Sumeragi all this time have you?" Gunvolt interrogated.

"If I was doing spy work for the Sumeragi then Asimov wouldn't've hired me." Naomi remarked.

"What kind of backup is it then? Come on, we're just ding to find out!" Lumen begged.

"You'll see when he gets he- whoops, I said too much." Naomi responded.

"No, you didn't say enough." Lumen giggled.

"So, we have to be on the lookout for a guy we've never seen around the office before." Gunvolt noted while holding hsi chin with his left hand.

"Good luck with that. He could be fromt he office. The only other floor we've seen is the one Xiao works on." Naomi laughed.

"You have to tell us who it is! If not then I'll just die!" Lumen huffed.

"Both you an' Joule handled it 'fore. Besides, I'm dead right now anyways. So if I can deal with it then ya'll can too." Naomi teased as Gunvolt pressed the button for their work floor in the elevator.

As soon as the elevator opened, Naomi made a beeline for Asimov, stomping her black combat boots, arms swinging with fists ready to strike.

"Are you clinically insane!? Do you know what you're riskin'!? by doin' that not only will ya lose a powerful ally but you'll have quite the adversary!" Naomi yelled.

"You'll be able to get access to top secret information and possibly learn how to take down the delegates." Asimov added.

"Yeah, while I'm being electrocuted! Do you actaully think that while you're chained down to a table or in a glass tube the size of a shower cubicle being shocked or suffering from first degree burns that I can't hink through the pain!? Nobody can! As crazy as what I'm 'bout ta say is gonna sound, it's true. I used to hang out with Nova between the times we were being experimented on. Although I wound up forgetting about it due to mental tampering. That was when I was seven or eight, probably taht old or more." Naomi ranted.

And you have Psychokinesis too. Maybe they're hopeful that since you have that and the Azure Striker Septima that it's possible Nova might be able to wield both without complications." Moniqa theorized.

"But he ain't me, that's the thing. I'm a Primal Dragon. He's an Adept. He's a psycho, and I'm not. The list keeps goin'." Naomi noticed.

"She's not going to Firmament and that's final Asimov." A male voice declared.
