"That seems like we'd achieve a breakthrough. Possibly even attain world peace. It'll have to be discussed with the delegates later. Nothing happens at any branch without the top brass knowing about it after all." Jota spoke.

"Who revived you and the others?" Naomi queried.

"Elise was forced to revive us. Her orders were if she didn't then she'd suffer a fate worse than death." Jota elaborated.

"How would she hear about that order if there was no none around to give her the warning?" Naomi pondered.

"Zonda told her." Jota informed.

"I heard Zonda made a different team after calling it quits with the Sumeragi. Do you know what happened after?" Naomi questioned.

"Zonda's team dispatched after they lost Asroc in France. I assume that was your doing?" Jota answered.

'Yeah, I can understand why they do what they do Sumeragi wise, Eden wise I don't get it." Naomi responded.

"We're here." Jota announced.

Naomi looked up and sighed.

Either this is the last time I'm ever gonna look at this building or it'll just be a l'il while till I'm back. Naomi pondered.

In her opinion, Naomi thought her boss was a burden rather than a blessing. Suddenly, she realized that mission meant more trouble for her, her family and QUILL than she previously thought.

Aw fudge, that ain't good. If I actually do go through with this, then my family might actually get found and QUILL will be in trouble since now they'll really know our office location. Naomi panicked.

But it was too late, the elevator already opened. Naomi heistated her literal next steps, but walked towards Asimov. She kept her head down, ashamed of herself. Even though it was Asimov's fault in the first place. However, doing this early could allow them to get the mission done earlier.

Darn it, I could've just asked Nova earlier if he got the Azure Striker Septima. Naomi noticed.

"I'm renouncing myself from QUILL." Naomi informed.

"Very well, as of now, your name is removed from the QUILL roster." Asimov notified.

Naomi nodded and left with Jota. When she left, Naomi felt her freedom left too. Nova greeted Naomi upon her return.

"It seems we'll be stationed at Firmament together." Nova noted.

"Wow, I'll actually get to see space." Naomi hoped.

"We have to be there in an hour. We'd better get going now." Nova advised.

The two left in a limousine as Jota was going to keep an eye on the facility just in case any more renegade QUILL agents decided to show. Naomi felt so uncomforatable she thought that trying to give Viper a valentine would've been easier to deal with. Nova was sitting on the left while Naomi was sitting on the right seat.

It's hard to tell what's worse, the idea of doing this for a second more or having to sing again. I think, heck, I know my singing voice is awful. Great, now it's impossible to tell which is worse. Naomi mentally ranted.

"I find it rather strange how you've been gone for a little over five months and you suddenly come back. In truth it seems kind of suspicious." Nova commented.

"Five months is a little while, but it gave me time to think. During the time I've been working with them I realized that what the Sumeragi's been doing is the right thing. I just wanted to rebel, to believe I was fighting for a just cause and the greater good. However, I got to thinking recently. That's when I finally understood my true calling, what I needed to do." Naomi explained.

"Jota informed me of your idea about the Glaives before we parted ways. It could lead to world peace Adept wise. As soon as they are found, they'll be retrieved and recieve a Glaive." Nova spoke.

"I'd be glad to assist in any way I can." Naomi smiled.

Meanwhile, none of the QUILL agents at HQ could believe what just happened and were still trying to understand the situation.

"So lemme get this straight; Naomi just ditched us so she could do that mission early?" Zeno questioned.

"She felt bad for causing us to postpone it." Moniqa elaborated.

Naomi was still sitting in the seat in fear.

"I heard about your status as a Primal Dragon. Since you have so many Septima's I was wondering, would you like to be the Sumeragi's Adept ambassador?" Nova offered.

"I, uh, I don't know what to say. Honestly I'm starting to think you're making up all of these positions just so I'll stick around. How will I be able to exercise my duty as a peacekeeper and be an Adept ambassador simultaneously?" Naomi queried.

"Your duty as a peacekeeper will be full time. However, your ambassador position will only need to be used occasionally." Nova explained.

"I see... So, did you obtain the Azure Striker Septima?" Naomi asked.

"It's been confirmed that I can wield it but they haven't picked an implant day yet. We'll definitely have to keep an eye on QUILL if they were able to obtain that kind of intel." Nova added.

"How long does the drive usually take?" Naomi qondered.

"Two hours. Jota accompanied me on the last ride when we employed Viper." Nova remembered.

"Wow, how did that go?" Naomi pondered.

"The ride was long so I took a nap. Unfortuantely, during that time I realized that trying to forget isn't as easy as it sounds. Jota was kind enough to wake me up when we reached the Maiden Blood gangs territory. Luckily, we were able to use Lumen as leverage." Nova droned.

"I'm too anxious to sleep right now. I've always had an affinity for pictures of space. To see the real thing up close, it's always been a dream of mine." Naomi stated.
