"He didn't mention anything of the sort. Most likely due to him dealing with more pressing matters." Dr. Kamizono denied.

Naomi went on to tell him of the Prevasion Chain she had along with all the other fascinating oddities created by third parties of QUILL.

"It sounds as if they've made more progress on Septima research than we have." Dr. Kamizono commented.

"Eh, you did get the research department one step closer to perfecting their technique so I can't say who's done more." Naomi remarked.

"And they've even gone so far as to make chains, pendants, medallions, rings and even contacts?" Dr. Kamizono asked.

"Yup. And that's only for the Azure Striker Adepts. I don't know where the boss got his visor though. He said it's so he can limit his Septima." Naomi rambled.

"I'm surprised he still has that. He was given that at the old S-FIT since his power was out of control." Dr. Kamizono remembered.

"We all have custom weapons too. Gunvolt has something on the end of his ponytail that allows him to shoot hair darts. The hair is for his Azure Striker." Naomi elaborated.

"I had no idea that QUILL has made so many technological advancements." Dr. Kamizono added.

"Maybe Asimov's willing to share some of the secrets with you." Naomi supposed.

"I'm going to make sure that Copen doesn't interfere with your missions." Dr, Kamizono stated.

"Thanks, but I don't quite think that'll work. I've seen him and he's really crafty. Especially when he's determined. Last time he did something sketchy he made it look like he was inspecting the integral structure of a building and left a bomb." Naomi doubted.

"He'll be kept an eye on." Dr. Kamizono assured.

"I hope nobody at QUILL is mad at me for making the sudden decision." Naomi whispered.

Nobody was mad at her. Though they were all frightened, especially of the end result. They could care less if Naomi didn't get any data. As long as she returned safe and sound then they wouldn't care.

"Man, this sucks, we just lost our best assassin." Zeno moped.

"Teenage assassin more like." Moniqa retorted.

She believed what Asimov did was nothing short of unforgivable. Forcing Naomi to do the thing she despised: return to working for the Sumeragi and giving up her new found freedom.

'It just sickens me how he could think of that without a second thought.' Moniqa mentally ranted.

"It's like he changed, an' it ain't in a good way." Zeno droned.

"Do you think Naomi will be okay?" Moniqa asked.

"She's brainwashed herself into thinking she's doing the right thing." Zeno responded.

"The Sumeragi already got into her head?" Moniqa panicked.

"Nah man, she brainwashed herself into thinkin' she was doin' the right thing by taking the mission early an' that she was gonna right her wrongs." Zeno explained.

"She must have a lot of weight on her shoulders right about now." Moniqa sighed.

However, it was the Lyoko team who felt like Atlas.

"What do we do about Naomi?" Odd wondered.

"There's nothing we can do about the situation right now. Besides, I just looked at S-FIT's camera footage and she's with her father. So for now we can be certain that she's in good hands." Xana elucidated.

"What about busting her out?" Yumi recommended.

Jeremy shook his head.

"We already tried that. Remember? The elevator? It'd be easier if we could teleport her but we can't." Jeremy reminded.

"We just have to let things play out." Xana stated.

Everyone was depressed. Franz Hopper and Anthea Schaeffer were aware of their daughters struggles. They knew of the teams troubles and Xana's problems as well. Anthea was reading a book while enjoying a cup of chai tea with nutmeg and star anise. Franz was looking into the Sumeragi's security when he got a phone call.

"Hello." Naomi greeted.

"Naomi? How are you calling me? Aelita told me you weren't supposed to have any contacts outside of the company." Franz questioned.

"I can if I don't talk about the job." Naomi corrected.

"Aelita's been worried sick about you, so have the others it seems." Franz stated.

"There's someone that I think you might enjoy speaking with so I'll put my phone on speaker." Naomi smiled as she put her phone on speaker.

"It's been a long time since I've heard from you Waldo. How's your current situation?" Dr. Kamizono asked.

"It's been well, Aelita told me that Naomi's having some trouble with working for the Sumeragi. Is that true?" Franz queried.

"Unfortunately, yes, it is. We're both experiencing difficulty with adjusting. It hasn't been easy. I was hoping that I'd be the only one to suffer." Dr. Kamizono explained.

"So much for a marriage of convenience. Nobody seems happy, unless it's aunt Kora pinching my cheeks and I'm pretty sure uncle Suiji is just faking his happiness." Naomi retorted.

"I take it Naomi doesn't see the point in love." Franz laughed.

"Boys are so annoying! Jeremy never stops working, Odd, I don't know where to start with him, or Copen, Yumi's brother Hiroki is a spying menace, Arson I wanted to light on fire and William never should've been allowed on Lyoko or in the group." Naomi ranted.

"What about Ulrich?" Franz questioned.

"He's the only guy I'm cool with. he's nice, level headed and smart enough to keep to his own. Only trouble is he's hardheaded and stubborn." Naomi commented.

"Well it seems that you can tolerate Xana perfectly fine." Franz supposed.

"I don't see him often enough to know if I like or dislike him." Naomi debated.

"From what I've heard you've made quite the impression on him." Franz remarked.
