After both of the groups worked out their sides of the plan, they would convene to make sure that no other part of the plan would interfere with another. Planing took a grand total of five days. Getting everything together took another day and on the sixth day the plan was put into action. They all agreed that they would attack the UTU media tower.
Then grab all the data from the Datastore if no one tried to stop them. The Stratacombs were off limits because they were to do quick raids only. The Stratacombs were underground and the Subaquatic Base was underwater, hence the name. So they decided to raid the Biochemical plant, Datastore, Pharma Lab and the UTU media tower.
Nova was monitoring them when Jota told him of QUILL's infiltration.
"Let them proceed. If they believe their plan is going well then they'd be more likely to have their guard down. Besides, we'll be more likely to find out their plan and attack pattern." Nova elucidated.
"What shall we do with Naomi? She could possibly betray us if we make her fight QUILL." Jota warned.
"So we'll activate a countermeasure. We'll update the tech in her tracking chip. If she goes beyond Kamishiro, the chip will produce an electric shock." Nova stated.
"She has the Azure Striker, no harm will come to her from that. She might possibly try to take advantage of that." Jota advised.
"Fine, we'll have it keep her unable to move." Nova huffed.
"She has Radiant Fetters,Gravity Well, Psychokinesis and Metallon. If anything, she'd easily be able to bind you." Jota cautioned.
"What about her Hot and Cold? We could easily use her Angered Explosion or Permafrost." Nova guessed.
"It wouldn't be sufficient. If her body began to overheat from the Hot and Cold, she could use the Permafrost to cool herself down. If Angered Explosion was used she could use the cold part of her Hot and Cold Septima to cool herself down. I'm sure you can imagine what would happen if we tried to give her hypothermia in the same way." Jota denied.
"She definitely couldn't use her rupturing Septima on the chip. There's no way we could injure her with it either. Not to mention ruling out Trick Bullet. I can't see any other ways of reprimanding her." Nova doubted.
Meanwhile, the Biochem Plant was blown up. The Datastore was currently being pillaged of its data.
"If anyone finds data on Naomi we'll get it and take a break to analyze it." Asimov informed.
Everyone began searching and peering through the servers for their data cards.
"Uh, boss, we don't have any pockets. How are we gonna bring these back to HQ?" Zeno wondered.
"We'll have to get some bags from somewhere." Gunvolt guessed.
"Yumi, can you get the bags? I'll direct you on where to go." Jeremy spoke.
"No problem, I'll be back." Yumi assured.
"Ulrich and Odd can go ahead to the main server and get the data there." Asimov ordered.
So, everyone did their desired jobs while Aelita stayed with the QUILL group. She felt uncomfortable being around people she didn't know.
"Hey Aelita, you won't believe what I just discovered!" Jeremy spoke.
"What did you find?" Aelita asked.
"The men in black are black ops for the Sumeragi." Jeremy informed.
"So that's what they're doing. They've been going around claiming that Adepts are aliens!" Zeno noticed.
"You'd be best to leave your imagination alone right now." Moniqa advised.
"Aelita, do you know what Naomi did while she was working on patrolling your school?" Gunvolt wondered.
"All I remember was her getting in a fight with Stratos while hanging out with us and walking around." Aelita explained.
"How did the fight go?" Zeno pondered.
"It went alright from what I saw. All students were told to go inside while Naomi fought him." Aelita informed.
"I didn't know ya'll were the ones Naomi, Mytyl an' I were fightin' on Celestial Concord." Zeno remarked.
"It was rather difficult fighting you and Naomi. It seems you both have more combat prowess than all of us comined." Aelita stated.
Yumi had an easier time getting the bags than she thought she would have. The store owner thought that Yumi was trying a new modern kimono. She was able to bring the bags luckily without the slightest hint of suspicion.
"How did you even manage to bring all of those USB's anyways then?" Aelita asked as she took a bag from Yumi.
"We kept them in the magazine clip of my backup gun." Zeno elucidated as he took out some more unused USB's.
"Asimov, what does it mean if the server has a red light on it?" Gunvolt queried.
"It means that the server is malfunctioning, broken or the data can't be used since it's corrupt or the subject of the data no longer exists." Asimov elaborated.
"We'd better avoid taking data from those then." Zeno noted.
"How are we supposed to take down the main server?" Gunvolt asked.
"With this." Asimov notified as he revealed a USB he was hiding between his left index and middle finger.
"Don't we get this data from our hacks?" Zeno remembered.
"We do but it's ideal to have physical backups, especially for important intel." Asimov reminded.
"I'll have to tell Jeremy about that." Aelita whispered.
"This USB has enough storage on it to store all the data from the main server. It'll take the rest of the data we didn't take from the other servers through the main server and put it into the USB." Asimov explained.
"We'll take that, thanks." Odd joked as he took the USB from Asimov so that he and Ulrich could get the data.
In the meantime, Naomi was having a tough time dealing with the stitches on her collarbone.
