~Naruto's bedroom~
~5:00 am~

Naruto was currently on his way to the village gates to meet up with Jiraya. After finishing dressing he went to go tell Temari goodbye.

Temari who was deadbeat tired was cuddling a pillow as his substitution with her head deep under the covers.

He walked over to her and gently gave her a kiss on the forehead, chuckling when he heard her lightly snore.

"I'm leaving Tema,"

Slowly opening her eyes Temari saw Naruto dressed in his Jonin outfit ready to go.

"Mmmh...good luck..love you...come back." She tiredly mumbled pulling his face down for a sloppy kiss only for her to go to sleep afterwards snuggling her face to into the sheets.

"Love you too.." He stroked her face.

Naruto gave her one last kiss before he headed out the house and towards the village gates.

~30 minutes later~
~Village gates~

Tsunade and Jiraya were waiting for him at the gates with big smiles that sort of creeped him out.

'Not this shit again..' He kept it together and at least managed a neutral smile.

"Oi, you ready brat!!" Jiraya in an upbeat attitude said.

"Ummm...yeah, I'm packed and loaded.." he said popping his bones getting lose.

"Let me make one thing straight with you Jiraya, no dragging him off to strip clubs or seedy whore houses you hear me! He and that girl have great grandchildren to give me!!" Tsunade ordered but said that last bit a bit more quieter but was still heard.

"Yes ma'am." Jiraiya moped.

"Wait, what?!" Naruto what stuck in a deer like headlights from what Tsunade just said.

Tsunade quickly realized what she said right after it went out of her mouth. After a quiet 'oops' She quickly the subject letting Jiraya what they can and cannot do.

To Naruto their conversation seemed like those had by old married couples squabbling over the right way to raise there child of course he always knew something was going on between them by the way they were in the office the other day.

Naruto felt that to him that is exactly what they were Jiraiya was his fun loving laid back father, while Tsunade was the strict but caring mother and watching them squabble over where Jiraiya took him brought a smile to his face.

After a long discussion and several rather revealing diagrams of where Jiraiya can and can not take Naruto the two spiked haired duo left with a wave of their hands.

"What are you smiling about Jiraya-ojisan?Baa-chan basically just told you you cant go to any of your favorite places while we were away." Naruto asked seeing the smile on Jiraiya's face.

"Why not be happy, Tsu-hime only said I couldn't take you to any of those places not that I couldn't go to them, and its not my fault if you have to come in to get me at any point." Jiraiya laughed.

Naruto just shook his head at this.

'Trust Jiraiya-ojisan to figure out a way around Baa-chan's rules' Naruto thought as the pair left the gates.

~Sealing Cave~

"Finally!! That took so fucking long, stubborn old shit!!!" Deidara yelled as the body of Roshi fell to the ground lifeless.

"We should have had Yonbi a month ago, he proved to be difficult to catch." Kisame said plainly.

"He ran for a month before we finally caught up to him." Itachi finished for his partner.

"It doesn't matter, you are to begin hunting the Gobi, have you experienced any resistance from Iwa." Pein asked.

"When we first approached Yonbi there were a team of Iwa ninja on there way looking for him with a message from the Tsuchikage, but Zetsu was able to stall them, they have need been concerned with us since then." Itachi said.

"Yeah that would be about right, the old fart probably would be glad to see those two gone, he doesn't care about the jinchuuriki." Deidara said.

"Then we will proceed without disturbance then, Deidara be ready once Gobi is sealed I want you and Tobi to retrieve the Rokubi." Pein said and faded from view followed by the others.

~Land of Tea~
~Several day's Later~

Naruto and Jiraiya walked into a small town they were supposed to meet Jiraiya's wayward informant in.

"Hey sensei, isn't this a bit of a quiet place to have an informant I mean what can they hear out in this place." Naruto queried.

"That's exactly the point it is so out of the way that people will be less careful about what information they give up." Jiraiya answered.

"Fair enough, so how do we find this guy then" the blond asked.

"Simple we go to the bar." Jiraiya said eagerly.

"I should of known, oh well lets get going it's not like where going to find him standing around out here. Plus I wouldn't mind a drink or two." Naruto sighed.

"That's a good attitude to have! While we are waiting I can do a bit of research!!" Jiraiya said as he walked towards the bar. He was looking forward to toasting the fact that Naruto had become a man even thought that was over a couple of years ago.

"Yosh!! But that last part is a hard no." Naruto said as he followed his grandfather/sensei.

Sitting down at the counter the bartender quickly noticed he had two more customers that were ninja and immediately came over to serve them "Good afternoon ninja-sans how may I help you?" he asked.

"Ah can I get two bottle of Sake and two saucers thanks" Jiraiya said before deciding to ask about his lost informant. "Oh and one more thing, I am looking for Ichigo Kaito, short stubby man always wearing a suit, know em?" The toad sage asked.

"Yes I know the man, I haven't seen him in almost a month now, said he was going to explore some caves he had heard some information about to the north, sorry I cant help anymore than that... I will go get your order." the bartender said and went out the back to bring out a bottle of sake and placed it on the counter with two saucers.

"So what do you think sensei, should we stay here or go check out the caves." Naruto asked.

"We will stay here and have a drink, then later we will go check out the caves at night, that way we can have the cover of darkness...Now drink up!" Jiraiya said pouring Naruto some of the clear liquid.

Naruto downed it slowly savoring it's taste. It was strong and hit the right place for Naruto.

Jiraiya started to laugh out at this "Whoa there...you'll get back home to your lady in time." Jiraiya laughed out.

Naruto just grinned with his flushed cheeks knowing what Jiraya said rang true.

~Konohagakure~
~Hokage's office~

Temari was in Tsunade's office talking to the busty Hokage about village trading and peace talks when suddenly Temari sneezed simultaneously getting Tsunade a little worried.

"Are you alright Temari-Chan?" Tsunade asked.

"I'm fine, arigato." She sniffed getting back to reading documents.

"Someone must be thinking about you...mhnnn I wonder who it could be..." Tsunade smirked slyly.

'He better..' A little part of Temari thought possessively.

"No one important.." Temari dismissed.

"Whatever you say..." Tsunade grinned.

~Back with Naruto~

Once they had finished their drink they checked into a hotel and waited till it was dark to investigate the caves that the bartender told them about.

'Guess that's them, they don't look natural something is very wrong here..' Naruto thought and as he moved in to get a closer look he felt one of his senjutsu seals activate. 'genjutsu, should have known.'

when the illusion cleared they saw a cave with a second entrance like a secret pathway hidden in it. Naruto paused and turned to Jiraiya. "What should we do, do we go in or wait and see if anyone comes out?" he whispered.

"You wont be doing anything Konoha fuckers!!" came a voice behind them and they turned quickly to see a tall woman with light blue hair that was tied up in a ponytail and there were a couple of long strands loose framing her face. She wore a green dress with one long and one short sleeve and calf high combat boots.

Naruto and Jiraiya just looked at her then at each other trying to determine what type of threat she posed, then they was the symbol that was on the belt she wore loosely around her waist. "Oto." they both said together then got into a stance prepared for anything.

"Well looks like we have found one of Orochimaru's bases, what fun, do you mind if I ask your name miss." Naruto said lightheartedly.

The woman did not look amused at Naruto's calm almost taunting tone but answered anyway.

"As you are about to die anyway I don't suppose it matters. My name is Guren, I would ask yours but the dead don't talk." Guren said and she raised her arm and sent a large dragon made out of crystal at Naruto.

Naruto was stunned by this as it flew at him, he did a justu the toads taught him shattering the crystal dragon with ease. "Well would you look at that I can still speak, can you still speak sensei." Naruto asked jokingly.

Jiraiya smirked and replied "I do believe I can, so what do you say we tear this base apart and blow it to smithereens." Jiraiya suggested.

Guren was shocked. Naruto had just shattered her Shoton dragon without even trying, knowing she would need some help now she signaled to a hidden ninja who opened a door and let out hundreds of experiments that Orochimaru had created.

"Fuck me, would you look at that..." Naruto said as the horde approached. Deciding it would be better to not let them any closer he pulled out three of his small shuriken and threw them.

The shuriken expanded once they were close to the onrushing horde and expanded with Fuuton blades tearing a large chunk of the experiments apart. "Hey, I can handle this." Naruto said with a smirk.

Naruto did a couple of hand signs shooting out blueish-red fire burning all the freaks down screaming in agony.

'Sheesh...wouldn't want to be in the receiving end of that..' Thought Jiraya with a huge sweat drop rolling down his head as he watched in awe as the fire kept burning.

"Hn, you really have come a kind way with that fox for kit." Kurama said really impressed at his jinchurik's progress with fox fire.

Guren looked on shocked she knew she could not run she had to fight. Coming back to her senses she decided to try and turn Naruto into crystal using her Shoton: Stasis Jutsu.

Naruto saw the crystals forming but couldn't do anything about it and was soon covered in them.

"Well that's one down, now for you old man!" she taunted.

However she taunted to soon as the crystal around Naruto exploded outward leaving a completely unharmed blond knucklehead with red chakra surrounding him.

"How, it's not possible!!" Guren stammered as Jiraiya and Naruto slowly approached.

"Nothing is impossible," Naruto said.

"He's right now, tell us have you seen this man?" Jiraiya asked taking out a photo of his informant.

"Fuck you!! I'm not telling you shit, cock suckers!!" Guren spat.

"As I expected from one of Orochimaru's pawns." Naruto said.

While Naruto and Jiraiya were deciding if they should kill Guren or not take into account that there were other Oto ninja approaching them.

The Oto ninja who had been surrounding Naruto and Jiraiya quietly then attacked charging from every angle.

Jiraiya's hair extended and wrapped around himself as a shield that stopped all incoming projectile's while Naruto lazily swatted them away.

"Needle Jizo!!" Jiraiya called from inside his hair cocoon and his hair spikes out and sent wave upon wave of spikes impaling many of the surrounding ninja.

During this time Naruto was picking the others off with a combination of Fuuton Jutsu's and taijutsu and a bit of his fox fire.

Guren watched in horror as Naruto and Jiraiya systematically eliminated every last ninja in the base with ease, sure they had only been low ranked genin and chunin but the numbers alone should have made it a difficult fight.

"Wh-Who are you people?" she said to scared to move, she knew without her Shoton jutsu she was as good as defeated and the blond had proven that her Shoton was useless against them.

"Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze and Jiraiya The Gallant! I am the Toad Sage of Mt Myobokuzan!!" Jiraya said doing a kabuki dance along with the introduction.

"Damn it, Naruto!! Where was the dance!!" Jiraiya whined wanting to do his usual introduction. With his godson/grandson.

"That dance is embarrassing..." Naruto dead paned.

"You just don't recognize style, my introduction has character and its dignified!" Jiraiya said indigently.

"No it doesn't, it makes people take us less seriously!!!" Naruto yelled back.

"Your both loonies..." Guren moaned thinking about her current situation.

"Ah now look what you have gone and done, now she thinks where a couple of incompetent idiots..." Jiraiya complained.

"Who cares what she thinks, shes the enemy, where not here to make a good impression." Naruto argued back.

"Fine.." Jiraiya pouted folding his arms in defeat.

"Ok now that is over tell us if you have seen this man and we will only take you as a captive and not kill you." Naruto said showing Guren the photo of Hasiro Pato.

Guren weighed up her options, either fight back against someone who was completely unaffected by her jutsu, run and be killed by Orochimaru when he found out what happened, or surrender and be placed at the mercy of these two, surprisingly strong idiots.

"Fine, he came around about a month ago while Orochimaru was still here training that Uchiha. Anyway Orochimaru is always looking for new people to experiment on, and well you probably killed him when the experiments attacked earlier." she said honestly.

"Shes telling the truth.." said Jiraiya who checked several of the monsters that had attacked them. "Stay here Naruto I'm going to have a quick look around..." he said before entering the small passageway leading into the base.

Jiraiya returned around an hour later with several sealing scrolls and made his way to tie Guren up before flinging her over his shoulder.

"Come on we need to get back to Konoha so we can have Tsunade look at some of the stuff I found in there.." said Jiraiya disgusted at the depths to which Orochimaru had sunk.

~A few days later~
~Konoha's village gates~

Naruto and Jiraiya returned to Konoha after the capture of Guren and Destruction of Orochimaru's hide out. They immediately took Guren to the T department putting her in one of the holding cells until one of the investigators came and got her for questioning.

"Naruto you can head home I will give the report to Tsunade, besides I heard from a little birdie someone missed you dearly..." Jiraiya said with a small grin spreading across his face doing a kissy face.

"Yeah, yeah I'm sure Obaachan missed you too." Naruto teased thinking about the time he walked in on Jiraya and Tsunade.

If Jiraya had been a lesser man he would of blushed madly on the spot at what Naruto said. Luckily he just settled with coughing and shifted uncomfortably.

"B-brat not so loud..." He mumbled

"Hehehe...well see ya sensei, say hi to Baa-chan for me." Naruto said walking off, Naruto headed home while Jiraiya went to see Tsunade.

~15 minutes later~
~Hokage's Office~

Tsunade was sitting at her desk when Jiraiya came in through the window.

"Jiraiya thank kami, this paperwork was driving me up the wall!!" Tsunade said a bit seductively when the old toad sage entered.

"Hey Hime, I have news.." Jiraiya said seriously trying to hold back his pervy conscience.

"You do what is it? If something happened to Naruto your a dead man..." Tsunade threatened quickly losing her attitude from before.

"No it had nothing to do with Naruto; It's Orochimaru, when looking for my contact we found a well hidden cave. This cave was a hideout for Orochimaru, inside I found these..." Jiraiya said throwing the scrolls onto the table.

"What are they?" Tsunade asked picking up the first sealing scroll and unsealing several test tubes.

"There his experiments, from what I can see he is trying to find a way to combine all the sub elements, there were cells from a Shoton user who we had the great displeasure of meeting. As well as Hyoton, Futton, Jiton, and he even seems to be getting fresh Mokuton cells from somwhere..." Jiraiya said disgusted with his old teammates action.

"What how is that possible my grandfather's tomb has been completely sealed ever since sensei caught Orochimaru all those years ago." Tsunade said shaking with rage.

"I don't know, I think he is trying to combine them all into one person, and make that his body after sasuke..." Jiraiya theorized.

"That means he would have to capture some rather high profile people, I know that the Raikage first choice guard after Killer Bee is the only Storm release user I know of, and there are very few who have Lava release, most of them are in Iwa." Tsunade said.

"Yes, so it would not surprise me if he attempted to kidnap them and use them. " Jiraiya concluded.

"Hey, you said you fought the Shoton user, what happened did they escape?" Tsunade asked.

"No, we captured her, once Naruto played with her a bit she kind of collapsed. After that she didn't put up much of a fight, and she is at T right now having a friendly chat with Ibiki and Anko." Jiraiya said with a hidden shudder at the mention the the kunoichi's name.

"And what about your contact?" she asked.

"He's dead, we had to kill him. But in truth he was already worse than dead, we just put him out of his misery..." the white haired man said solemnly.

"How unfortunate..." Tsunade murmured about the loss of a spy. While Jiraya just grunted in agreement Tsunade also has other thing in her mind. She wanted to at least surprise him for all his hard work.

When she finaled her resolve she went up to the door locking it and doing a couple of hand seals activating the privacy seals around the room.

"Tsunade what's wrong?" She didn't answer, her hair was covering her face making it hard to read her.

"You know...I've been stressed with all this paperwork...it's been a realllllll pain in my ass..."

Jiraya stayed silent feeling like he knew where she was getting at.

"So...how can I help you?" He asked meekly.

The room stayed silent for a while with a smirk played on her lips.

"You can start by taking your clothes off.." The tiger the pounced on her prey leaving the imaginable to happen next.

~A few days later~
~Morning~

Inside the compound that belongs to Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze. Yet, to the second occupanct it was like her second home.

You could hear laughing and giggling coming from the kitchen as the two blonds were loving each other's company as they were cooking anything that came to mind and getting the other dirty with some of the ingredients along the way.

After cooking up food and eating it the two blonds were on the floor covered in flour laughing at each other.

"Now what are you laughing at.." Naruto pouted childishly pulling her closer.

Temari giggled. "If only you could see your face, it's stained with whipped cream. Now that's funny."

"Oh really?" Naruto questioned, grinning.

Only then, she realized both of Naruto's hands were placed on her hips. She could feel the sudden warmth on her cheeks. Her knees felt weak.

"Yeah, your face is stained with cream by the way. Here..." Temari whispered softly, straddling his waist.

With her right hand, she pulled Naruto close to her and slowly licked the whipped cream on his left cheek. Naruto withheld a groan.

"There's even some here," she whispered, turning to lick the butter cream on his right cheek. Oh, how much she loves teasing him. "Here... Here..."

This continued on which felt for hours to Naruto. That is until Temari sealed her lips with his. She kissed him gently, as though she's afraid she might break him.

Not wanting to lose this game of teasing he quickly rolled over putting Temari on her back putting some of his weight on her body.

"You know I like to keep things even let me help you out." He smirked licking her neck where some cream was.

"Here..." He went lower on her chest

"Here..." His teeth lightly scraped over her rock hard nipple causing her to moan.

He trail his kisses down until he reached her creamy legs; putting his body in between her legs he started kissing them upwards wanting to get to the real prize.

Naruto sucked on the exposed flesh of her inner thighs leaving Temari on the door of ecstasy bucking her hips wanting more locking her legs squeezing his head.

"Don't decapitate me Tema." Naruto playfully licked her soaking panties making his lover moan.

"Then stop teasing..." she whined getting him to chuckle.

That is until someone knocked on the door.

Maybe if they just kept quiet the stranger would just go away and leave them alone. He didn't bother using his chakra to sense the 'mysterious' person.

"Let's take this to the bedroom, I want you all to myself without any disruptions.." he gently cooed in her ear while narrowing his eyes at the door.

"Hmm...as long as you finish what you started."she whispered.

The knocking kept getting louder as he picked her up carrying her to the bedroom.

Once they finally got to the bed the knocking finally ceased making Naruto sighed In relief, peppering Temari's face with kisses hearing her hold her squeals of delight.

"Final-" As always he was soon cut off when he heard a smashing sound continuing all the way to the bedroom door.

"NARUTO!!" Shit, Tsunade!!

"Tsunade-sama! This is his house!!" Yelled Shizune ashamed by her masters actions.

"Pretend your asleep I'll go out there and deal with that..." he tried to show some encouragement but desperately failed.

"Naruto!! I know you heard me when I knocked on the door, and why the hell is there a mess in here!!" Tsunade yelled, wanting to see her grandson.

"Here I come!" Naruto faked a sleepy voice.

Temari wished him a silent good luck and ducked her head under the covers praying to whatever deities existed Naruto would come back in two pieces.

Naruto walked to the kitchen to see Tsunade practically raiding his kitchen and ticked to find it a mess.

"How may I help to two on this lovely morning?" he leaned on the door frame looking at his 'guests'.

Shizune was blushing up a storm ogling up Naruto's body and his tattoos.

'Gahh! What is wrong with me!!! He's like my little brother!!!' While Shizune was having this mental battle with herself the two blondes were holding a conversation themselves.

"Can I not see my favorite person in the world?" She did an obvious pout that was fake.

"Tch, and this is the same person that's practically raiding my kitchen and eating my food.." He said playfully eyeing a blushing Tsunade while she ate some sausage Temari had made from their cooking war.

"Well anyways, what brings you to my humble abode?" He said sitting down at the kitchen table.

Deciding to cut to the chase she took the seat
next to him chewing the last of the food down.

"Where's your other half...I would have thought she would be here along with you since...y'know.." They eyed the broken door in the kitchen embarrassment filling Tsunade's cheeks.

"Knocked out like a light, but please continue.." he rubbed the sleep out of his eye.

"It's a joint mission we're doing with Suna, for the past month we've had reports coming in of merchants being attacked by a small cabal of bandits in the region directly between the Fire and Wind Countries. No Man's Land. But both countries are affected by this problem, so both villages want to solve it. We've come to a compromise, and we'll both be sending a team in to wipe out the bandits." Tsunade said eating some more food after the lengthly explanation handing out the mission scroll.

"So basically your sending me, Temari and some other people to go." He stated bluntly.

"Pretty much. Oh, take Sakura and Ino so they can heal the injured."

"Don't you think that's a bit of a buzzkill, sending us four?"

"We just want the job done quickly."

"And we will finish it quickly." Temari's voice sounded from the doorframe she was leaning on.

"T-Temari-san!!" Shizune looked like she was about to have a heart attack from what she was witnessing. Temari was in an oversized t-shirt that looked to be Naruto's shirt and had on nothing else except her panties.

"Y-you two..T-Tsunade-sama...oh kami-I need a drink.." After her proclamation she promptly slumped against the table from an information overload.

"One of these days I might have a heart attack.."mumbled Shizune.

"Oh cheer up Shizune-neechan, there are plenty of more surprises to come your way!!" Naruto cheerfully grinned.

"Your the source of those soon to be heart attacks.." She rubbed her temples while everyone chuckled/oinked at the expense of the Hokage's assistant.

"Anyways, what time do we leave Hokage-sama?" Temari said turning back to her serious face despite her lack of clothing.

"Tomorrow morning. So I suggest you rest up while you two can.." Tsunade said winking suggestively at the young couple only to hear them sigh in return.

"Well at least we get the rest of the day to relax" Naruto said taking his new jacket and putting it on.

"Yeah, how about we go get some lunch?" Temari said since even though they cooked all that food they were never really eating it they just did it for the competition.

"Alright Ichiraku ramen it is. Then we should probably head over to the hospital to tell Sakura about our mission." Naruto said before he got up carrying Temari over his shoulder to his bedroom with fits of giggles.

"Young love...ah, come on Shizune..let's leave these two love-birds alone."

Shizune just nodded dumbly and followed her master almost forgetting Tonton along the way.

'I may need to borrow Tsunade-sama's stash for today...' She thought as she kept walking back to the Hokage's tower.

~Next morning~
~Secret compound~

"Oi!! Have you seen my pants anywhere?!" Said Naruto hopping down the hallway with a toothbrush in his mouth trying to find his sense of direction.

"Have you tried checking on top of drawer?! I'm in the shower Naruto!!" Yelled back Temari trying to hurry up and rinse down since 'somebody' thought it was a good idea to get a round in a few hours before a mission all because he couldn't help himself.

"Oh yeah.."he murmured trying not to say that too loud so Temari wouldn't hear him.

Strings of curses could be heard throughout the household that morning as the blonde couple were rushing to get to the village gates on time to meet up with their teammates.

"Naruto make sure to pack protein bars for the mission!"

"I already did it!" He yelled back grabbing the sealing scroll putting the supplies they needed into it.

Temari was currently struggling to get her kimono on at this point and it was quite frankly pissing her off.

That was when suddenly she felt Naruto's arms wrapped around her tying her red sash on for her.

"Arigato.." she turned around and gave him a chaste but passionate kiss on the lips.

"But the next time we have a mission together no more doing it a few hours before a mission otherwise your sleeping on the couch." Her eyes showed her steel hard resolve.

Naruto pouted and brought her closer to his body.

"If you weren't such a damn temptress we wouldn't really have this problem."

"I was asleep." She raised her eyebrow trying to see his point.

"Well I guess it comes naturally even when your sleeping.." he put his forehead against her and gave her butt a gently squeeze.

"Try to behave yourself when we're out there alright." She winked at him squeezing his butt back.

"Of course I will!! I thought you knew me better than that?" Temari rolled her eyes before lightly smiling.

He grinned before kissing her then disappearing in a yellow/red flash towards the east gates.

~A few seconds later~
~Village gates~

"I will honestly never get used to that.." Temari leaned against the gates looking a bit pale as they waited for their Sakura and Ino to show up.

"It'll get better don't worry!" He said with a stupidly goofy grin that warmed her heart.

"Tch, instead of me you should be on the receiving side of that justu." She grumbled giving Naruto a mini glare. While he himself was laughing and holding her to make Temari feel better.

After a few minutes of waiting for the others finally Sakura and Ino showed up.

"Forehead, I'm telling you he was-Oh, Hello Naruto-kun!!" Ino instantly forgot about Sakura and walked up to Naruto and Temari with a flirty attitude. Hey, can you blame her? When you see a handsome man then his little package it'll make a woman do things...

Temari almost sneered at the Yamanaka's pathetic attempt to woo Naruto..she was getting quite tired of the female attention Naruto was getting.

"Oh, hello Temari-san.. I didn't see you there." Ino didn't even bother looking at Temari's face which pissed her off.

"Gomen Temari-San about her behavior, it's nice to see you again." Sakura said politely.

"It's no problem." She lied through her teeth giving an appreciative nod to the bubblegum pink haired teen.

"Though I wonder, what we are going to find once we get there, from the sound of the mission report they seemed rather desperate for help considering there just some random bandits." Ino said.

"Apparently, there is well over two hundred bandits but the thing is that there is samurai and rogue shinobi among them." Naruto said seriously looking at his group.

"So you might actually break a sweat huh Naruto." Sakura said a bit jokingly.

'He sure will...and I'll definitely be there for that show..." Ino thought notice noticing that people were trying to talk to her.

"INO!!!" Sakura yelled to her.

"Huh-oh gomen, what were you saying?" She wiped a trail of blood that dripped down her nose.

"I asked I you were ready to move out." Naruto said a bit concerned for his comrade.

"Oh, yes of course!!" She embarrassedly twiddled with her feet.

"Alright then, let's move out!!" After it was said and done they hit the road on towards their destination.

~One day later~
~Tokuma village gates~

"Well, we're here." Naruto said looking around before he was stopped by someone.

"Halt!! Who are you and why have you come here?!" a tall man asked with a bowl haircut like Lee's the only difference was his hair was light brown and his eyebrows didn't consume most of his face.

"Were Ninja from Konoha and an ally from Suna here to protect this village." Naruto said looking at the man.

"They only sent four of you? We need more than that!" the guard said desperately but still ushered them into the village.

"I don't get it sure this place is nice and looks like there are quite a few wealthy people living here but why is it being targeted by bandit's" Ino said as she had a look around.

There street's were paved in cobble stone and several large expensive houses scattered the otherwise normal looking village.

"Since we are a small village they attack us. They think we would just roll over and give them all of out money but we refused and a member of the town guard killed one of the bandits. Ever since they have been coming back every couple of nights with more and more people, they haven't attacked yet but I just know they are planning to anytime soon." The guard said as he lead the three Konoha ninja and Suna kunoichi to a small inn where they were given room's to stay in until this situation was sorted out.

"So, what do you think?" Naruto asked the three kunoichi when they came downstairs for something to eat.

"It's most likely a large group of bandit's trying to make an example out of this village. If they ruin one village others will be less likely to fight back." Sakura analyzed.

"I was thinking something along those lines, but we don't know how many we are dealing with, from some people they say there are close to one thousand others say slightly less than five hundred, without an accurate count we can't afford the leave the village unprotected." Temari said.

"Then we are just going to have to wait. There are three entrances and four of us so I suggest Ino and Sakura you two team up. Temari and I will take the other two gates." Naruto said.

"What about the town guard are we going to take charge, or just work with them?" Temari asked.

"I think we should let them act as normal as possible. They know the town and if they are acting weird the bandits might suspect something." Naruto said.

"Fair enough, well we're not going to help this village by just sitting around in here all night, I say we go get to work." Naruto said and began walking to the door.

"Wait!! we need to know what gate your going to take so we don't go there as well." Sakura called out.

"Oh yeah, I think I will take the northern gate. Oh while I am here, you guys should take some of these, there my elemental trap seals, just put some of your chakra into them to activate." Naruto said handing Sakura, Ino, and Temari a small stack of sealing tag's.

Naruto left the small inn and walked out into the cold night air. With no trees to shelter the village from the wind it felt like there was a gale blowing.

'Sure does feel nice out thought.' Naruto thought as he made his way to the northern gate.

"So any activity yet?" Naruto asked several members of the militia when he arrived to find them up a small tower with binoculars.

"No not yet, which is a bit weird since they are usually here before sundown just to show that they mean business." the guard said.

"I see, open the gate for a minute so I can get outside." Naruto said calmly.

"What!! You want to go out there! You want be killed when they arrive?!" The guard exclaimed in worry.

"Nah I'll be fine, besides if I am right the fact they haven't shown up yet tonight is not a good sign, I would say they are going to attack sometime later tonight once they have figured out there plan, that means you will need me out on the field with a strong wind blowing and a good water supply like we have tonight I can defend this gate no worry's!" Naruto called back confidently.

The militia guards just looked at him shocked. It took them several minutes to come around and open the gate.

"Good luck out there, don't say I didn't warn you about this" the guards said. The moment Naruto was out side the gate slammed shut behind him.

'Ok now we play the waiting game...Fuck I hate it already!!' Naruto whined internally as he sat down on the dewy grass.

Naruto sat outside for the next couple of hours, and sent several shadow clones to scout the area. At around one in the morning however he was given a shock, his shadow clone was destroyed.

'Hmm, so it begins huh. There sure are a lot of them' Naruto thought before creating two more clones to go inform Temari and the other two.

~With Temari~

She had been standing out there for a few hours. With no action no movements not nothing. It was really quite boring and a tad bit lonely but she was used to it when her and her siblings went on mission with Kankuro being the only laugh around.

Sensing something she got in her stance until she realized it was only Naruto.

"What's wrong Naruto?" She had gotten out of her previous stance.

"Oi, beautiful we've got company about 15 minutes away, about two hundred at most or a tad bit over that amount." He said losing his once flirtatious attitude.

She wanted to roll her eyes but kept a neutral face once she saw how serious he was.

"Do you know what is in their arsenals?" She asked.

"One of my clones were taken out by a doton justu." Temari gave a hum of appreciation as the clone of Naruto went on.

"Hmm...I'll use the seals you gave me so I'll be alright. What about you?" Temari asked.

"Prime can handle his own..he also sent a clone to warn Ino and Sakura about the incoming visitors."

"Alright, and I guess the village militia is helping us out." Temari also concluded getting a head nod from the Naruto clone.

The two then heard a screech from somewhere scaring all wild life.

"Well at least you took the news better than them." The clone rubbed his temple.

"I'll stay here just in case you need backup."

"Thank you, but I'm sure I can manage." She threw him a confident smirk over her shoulder before jumping off preparing the seals.

"Ah, the things prime does for love." The cloned sighed dreamily as he followed the blonde woman into the darkness.

~With Naruto~

"Well, well... this night won't be so boring after all.." Naruto thought before blending in with the shadows waiting for the bandits to appear.

Once all of the small bandit army was in place a large flare was shot into the sky illuminating the whole village and surrounding area and they charged.

He took out his Hiraishin kunai before flashing to the bandits before they even knew what was coming dropping one by one.

"What the fucking hell was that!!"

"Show yourself coward!!"

"He's too fast!!"

"I'm getting the fuck out of here!!"

Doing some quick hand seals he preformed a fuuton style justu.

"Fuuton: Vacuum blast!!" He took a deep breath then exhaled letting out blades of wind cutting the bandits up in bloody slashes.

"Well that was ea-""HELP ME!! LET ME GO!!" A little voice cried.

Naruto looked on ahead to see a little girl that was being held hostage by one of the bandits who had a sinister smile on his face as he held a kunai to the whimpering little girl's jugular.

"Take another step and I'll kill the girl right here right no-" The bandit found himself not able to speak as he felt warm fluid leaking out of his neck.

"You really are worst scum for threatening a child like this.." Naruto said as he held the girl tightly in his arms watching the man collapse.

He looked down at the quivering girl before him rocking her and shushing her.

"Shhhh, it's okay sweetheart I'm not going to hurt you." He cooed gently in her ear rubbing her back so she can calm down

"Y-your n-n-not?" She looked up hesitantly at Naruto.

"Nope! I need to make sure nothings wrong with then get you back where you belong. First, I need to know your name little one." He stroked her brown hair.

Putting on her big girl panties she spoke confidently which made Naruto chuckle at her cuteness.

"M-my name is Hitomi Togaru. What's your name whisker-kun?" The girl asked.

"Whisker-kun?" He questioned with a slight head tilt.

"Uh-huh, because of your whiskers." She giggled touching his sensitive marks.

"My name is Naruto but you can call me Whisker-kun too.." he smiled.

"How old are you?" He then asked.

"I'm four!!" She smiled cheerfully that reminded Naruto so much of himself when he was younger.

"Well little miss Hitomi just know your safe with me!"

After a bit of getting to know each other his clones popped receiving the memories of them making sure his comrades were okay.

"Well we should get going I have a good friend who can check you out and make sure your okay." She nodded into his shirt and gave him an 'okay' telling him she understood.

~20 minutes later~
~Back at inn~

When Naruto and Hitomi came back to the inn where him and the rest of the girls were staying he saw them at the lobby looking dead beat tired but what got him the most was Sakura wrapping up Ino's ankle.

"What happened?" He asked looking at the girls.

"Ino twisted her ankle doing a bit too much." Sakura responded to which the other just looked down ashamed.

"It's okay Ino you did your best." Naruto smiled brightly at her.

Temari, for the first time, looked up and saw what was in Naruto's arms.

"Who's she?" She asked looking softly at the little girl which made the other two look as well.

"My n-name is Hitomi. What's your name pretty lady?" She spoke up for Naruto out of her own curiosity who was smiling down on her.

Temari, if she was any lesser of a woman would have blushed at the sweet girl's compliment.

"Hello, Hitomi my name is Subaku no Temari, nice to meet you, your really pretty too." Temari had went up and greeted Hitomi in Naruto's arms.

Hitomi blushed at Temari's compliment and snuggle further into Naruto causing chuckles around the room.

Naruto then walked over to where Sakura and Ino were sitting and put Hitomi down.

"This is Sakura, she'll make sure your okay before we send you back to your mommy and daddy, alright?" He looked at her.

"It'll be quick don't worry." Sakura gave Hitomi a reassuring smile which made the small girl trust her.

Naruto went up up to where Temari was sitting and plopped down beside her.

"So...how'd you meet her?" Temari asked, her eyes never leaving Hitomi.

"A bandit threaten to kill her if I didn't cooperate." He said simply.

She sighed before rubbing her temples. It really was disgraceful threatening children like that, but of course Naruto being Naruto had to save the girl.

In a way, she kinda, in a weird way, envied the way Naruto treated the girl. It's like a father would treat his daughter. In the deepest depths of her mind she wished it was hers and his daughter he was treating like that.

'Whoa..' She thought she was thinking more about this than she thought.

She quickly had ridden those thoughts out of her mind had her Baka lover kept poking her in her side.

"You wanna keep that finger?" She looked at him.

He lifted his arms up in defense. "I've been trying to get your attention for the last few minutes.."

"Sorry.." she mumbled.

"It's fine, anyways as I was saying after Sakura is done I'm going to go find Hitomi's parents. Did you want to come with me." He asked resting his head on his hand.

"Why not..it's not like I have anything better to do." She shrugged.

"Whisker-kun!! Sakura-San said I'm all good!!" Hitomi said running with joy to where Naruto was.

"That's awesome Hito-Chan!!!" Naruto high-fived the girl showing how proud he was as he lifted her up and brought her into his arms ignoring the fact that that girls were laughing because of his new nickname 'whisker-kun'.

"You ready to go home?" He asked watching Hitomi as she slowly started to fall asleep in his arms.

"Yep, and I can't wait to tell mommy and daddy about you whisker-kun..." she dozed off.

"You certainly have a way with children whisker-kun." Temari said in a slight teasing voice.

Naruto looked away with a blush; Cursing Temari and her using that nickname against him,

"Let's just go.." He looked back at the other two girls.

"Did you guys want to come with us?" Naruto asked.

"We'll stay in for tonight but thanks for the offer Naruto." Ino said declining his invitation politely.

"Alright suit yourself." Afterwards both Naruto and Temari left leaving the two konoha kunoichi's by themselves.

"You know Naruto is great father material from the way he handled that girl." Ino said in a somewhat far off state.

Sakura sighed, only Ino would think of things like this. She mused, but she could not help to agree with her friend l.

~With Naruto & Temari~

The two had been walking around the village looking for anything that would tell them about Hitomi's parents were or any concerned parents in general.

That is until they finally found a couple running around like a bunch headless chickens screaming on the top of their lungs with tear stains on their cheeks.

"HITOMI!!" Both parents quickly ran towards the ninja to see their daughter in Naruto's arms.

The mother was quick to grab her daughter out of Naruto's arms and pull the sleeping girl to her chest relieved to have her back kissing the top of her forehead.

"Thank you..thank you, so much.." the woman sobbed bowing her head in respect to both Naruto and Temari.

"You are a savior to my family. You have brought our daughter back from harms way. For that, I and my wife are truly grateful and indebted to you two." Both the man and his wife bowed showing how serious they were.

"Sir, ma'am please raise your heads...you don't owe us anything.." Naruto pleaded as he watched two.

The parents who had calmed down extraordinarily fast had thanked Naruto and Temari once again before heading home to celebrate their daughter's return.

"That was nice." Temari suddenly said as they were headed back to the inn.

"Well why not, sure it's in a description for shinobi to kill but why not enjoy the little moments where you can bring peace to a family." He said with his hands behind his head enjoying the breeze he got in his face.

Temari smiled, he'd grown wise over the years and this was one of the moments he showed it.

~Couple of hours later~

When Naruto opened his eyes he was meet with the sight of a mop of sandy blonde hair and it's owner was buried deep in his chest, softly snoring.

'She must've snuck in here after lights out...sneaky little vixen you are..' he kissed the top of her forehead.

After laying there for a couple of minutes he saw something troubling.

'A crow with mangekyō sharingan...that can't be good.' Naruto slowly tried to get out of Temari's grasp but proved to be unfruitful as she only stirred and cracked open her one tired eye.

"Mmmh...where are you going?" She mumbled tiredly still holding onto him even with his torso up.

He sighed hoping she wouldn't wake up.

"I gotta take a whizz..I'll be back Tema..." Temari groaned but gave him a quick kiss and plopped right down back to sleep.

Putting his shirt and pants on he quickly left the in following the crow for two miles before it dispersed.

"Be careful kit, you already followed the crow here without any backup and without telling your mate." Kurama warned.

'I know but he feels alone...I can handle myself besides if Temari ever found out she'd kill me herself..' He though about what Temari would do to him if he went to battle an enemy without her and possibly get himself killed. She'd have a fit and he'd be'd fucked.

"Tch...honestly if you love her soooo much why don't you just marry her.." the bastard fox sarcastically asked.

That had actually made him shut up, then. He had no comeback or any type of resort to his tenant which made the fox grow very smug.

'Bastard..' Naruto felt a chakra signature before turning around finding in a tree the killer of the Uchiha clan himself...

"Itachi." Naruto said plainly with a stone cold face.

"Hello, Naruto-kun you are looking very well. But unfortunately I must cut to the chase since my time is limited here." Itachi said monotonously.

"Why do I have to answer to anything you say. I can sense your partner isn't here...so what is it you want from me if not to capture me." Naruto questioned.

"I'm desperate for answers." Itachi hopped down from the tree making Naruto get in a stance before Itachi got on his knees and bowed down showing he meant no harm to come.

"Please tell me...what do you think of Sasuke... he can still be saved? I know he can... but if he falls further what would you do, would you stop him before he could bring harm to Konoha?" Itachi's begging caught Naruto off guard.

"Riddle me this, why do you even care?" Naruto said curiously.

"I care because I love Konoha more than my life... but I also love my foolish little brother... he is still a blank canvas that can be painted any color, but should the wrong people get to him he will loose himself." Itachi said still on the ground at Naruto's feet.

"Yet, your the reason he is so obsessed with revenge. Something is going on here and I want to know what." Naruto demanded.

"I can't tell you, it involves a S ranked secret, I swore never to speak of." Itachi said.

"S rank secret but they can only be made by the Hokage... I see so this has something to do with why your clan was massacred." Naruto said knowing a thing or two about S class secrets, there were a few involving him after all.

"Yes, but I will not say anymore. Now please tell me about Sasuke what do they plan on doing with him if he is captured and returned to Konoha." Itachi said.

"He has a capture alive order at the moment but I believe that is just so they can get a gene sample for the continuation of the sharingan in Konoha, no doubt Danzo has his hand in it somewhere... as for myself I find him arrogant and unsociable, all in all he is a complete bastard, however should he return to Konoha willingly and repent I'd honestly wouldn't know what to do. But should he ever try to harm anyone I care about or my village, I will not hesitate in destroying him and any hopes you may have had for him Itachi."

"I see... Thank you Naruto-kun, I have a gift for you... I hope you will never need it." Itachi said and a crow flew into Naruto's mouth shocking the blond.

"What the hell was that!!" Naruto demanded.

"I gave you some of my power, should Sasuke ever turn on Konoha I want you to have some extra help." Itachi informed the blond.

"You want him to kill you don't you." Naruto said with a hint of sadness, it was a statement not a question.

"Yes, I need him to kill me, I need to pay for killing my family, it is why I left him alive." Itachi replied.

"Then why did you agree to do it, it was obviously a mission if it became a S rank secret."

"Because like I said I loved Konoha, what the Uchiha were planning was unforgivable, and if I didn't someone else would have to." Itachi said.

"Yes, but there were innocents, there were children who had no idea what your clan was planning.." Naruto reasoned.

"They were not killed by me but another." Itachi said expressionlessly

"Another...Who?" Naruto asked.

"Someone who has been playing a game with Konoha before we were even born." Itachi said.

Naruto thought about this before his tenant decided to make a comment for him.

"Madara..." Kurama said growling underneath his breath as he said the name like it was venom.

Naruto then suddenly remembered a conversation her and kurama had on why he attacked Konoha.

"It's Madara...isn't it." Now this caught the young master of sharingan's attention.

Naruto simply touched his stomach and looked at Itachi.

"He told me a few things.." Itachi just gave a hum of understanding figuring his biju told him.

"Naruto-kun... I advise you to to be careful in the incoming days..and arigato.." Itachi said before he shunshined away.

Naruto stared at where Itachi disappeared and thought of the recent events that just happened before heading back to the inn.

Once he made it back to his room he saw Temari still asleep snuggling with his pillow. He took all his clothes off only leaving his underwear on.

Silently, he slid back into the bed wrapping his arms around his lover.

From now on, things would get harder and war in the air.

~Orochimaru's base~

Kabuto was returning to Orochimaru's room with some medicine when the door opened in front of him.

"Sasuke-kun? Is that you or Orochimaru-sama." Kabuto asked tentatively.

After what seemed like forever he finally answered.

"Who do you think?" said Sasuke turning on his sharingan before leaving the stunned medic still holding the medicine tray.

Once the silver haired ninja came to his senses he entered the room to see what happened for himself.

Inside the room there was a lifeless husk of a snake which usually would mean that Orochimaru had changed bodies however as he had just seen Sasuke was very much still his same old arrogant self. Which meant only one thing.

Orochimaru was dead.

~A day and a half later~
~Konohagakure's village gates~

"FINALLY!!! Home sweet home." Ino rejoiced as the rest of the team reached the village gates seeing the eternal gate guards.

"For once, I agree with you Ino-pig." Sakura said stretching her back with the other two agreeing wholeheartedly with the rest of their team.

"Welcome back guys." Izumo tiredly greeted waving his his while the four just nodded at him.

"Hey Izumo, Kotetsu, leavin here anytime soon?" Naruto asked referring to the duo's position who then looked crestfallen.

"Nope, we've got 12 more hours to go.." Kotetsu sighed.

"Welp good luck you two." Said Naruto as he and his team walked away, but before they could get any further two Anbu's had appeared in front of their group.

"Shit...what's wrong now?"

"Namikaze-sama, Hokage-sama requires you, Temari-San, and Sakura-San at her office immediately she said it was urgent." the Bull Anbu said.

"Alright we'll be there and don't call me sama it's really embarrassing dattebayo.."mumbled at the end letting his verbal tick slip.

"Thank you for your time Naruto-sama." Said the Anbu leaving the scene in a shunshin and leaving an aggravated eye twitching Naruto behind.

"Damn Anbu Bastard..not listening.." Naruto mumbled getting the girls around him to sigh.

"Alright tiger save that aggression for another time. Right now let's see what Hokage-sama wants." Temari explained as she rubbed his back sympathetically trying not to snicker.

With a heavy heart Naruto with a depressed tone dissmised Ino to go home while the rest of the team went to the Hokage's tower.

~10 minutes later~
~Hokage's tower~

Naruto jumped through the window into Tsunade's office to find Jiraiya, Kakashi, Temari and Sakura waiting for him.

"Oi, what's up, it's not another mission is it?" Naruto asked the group while looking suspiciously at Tsunade.

"Not as such, but it is something you need to hear and so do the others." Jiraiya said referring to Sakura and Temari seriously.

"Oh alright, but why is Temari here? No offense." Naruto asked taking a seat right next to Temari who took no offense.

"That would be because of information Jiraiya has received on Orochimaru and Sasuke Uchiha." Tsunade replied rubbing her temples at the thought of the news.

At the mention of Sasuke's name caused Sakura's eye's to widen.

"What about Sasuke-kun? is he alright? Orochimaru hasn't taken his body has he?" Sakura pleaded for answer's.

"He is alive, but Orochimaru is dead. From the report's that I got Orochimaru failed in his attempt to take Sasuke's body." Jiraiya said slightly stunned at how devoted Sakura was toward the duckass Uchiha.

This stunned both Naruto, Kakashi, and Temari at what Jiraya said. Temari and Naruto couldn't believe the emo duckass of an Uchiha actually killed one of the most dangerous of the Sannin's.

"Does that mean Sasuke-kun is coming back home??" Sakura asked eagerly.

'Could you be any more of a fangirl..' Temari had wanted to say but held her tongue as it was not the time.

"I very much doubt that. He wont be coming back until he kills Itachi." Naruto said sighing tiredly.

"Has Suna been informed?" Asked Temari getting a nod from both Sannin's.

"I sent a messenger toad to the Kazekage a few hours ago. He should know by now." Jiraya informed the wind mistress who nodded gratefully at him.

Naruto, on the other hand, was getting tired of this waiting game finally spoke up.

"Why don't we take the fight to them? I'm getting tired of always responding to their calls when something goes down. I say we hunt them down and take them out, one at a time if we need to." Naruto said baring his elongated canines in anger at the thought of all the pain they have caused to his fellow jinchuuriki.

'Baby I know how much your hurting about this right now but do not lose face. You will get your justice for you and your fellow jinchuuriki.' Temari silently comforted her lover by gently brushing her hand across his hand which he noticed and appreciated.

"What about Sasuke?! We need to go get him to come back home!" Sakura pointed out what she felt was the top priority.

"Actually, that is not a bad idea Sakura. If we find Sasuke we will find Itachi. and if we can capture Itachi, Sasuke will come to us. It will be like killing two bird's with one stone." Tsunade said.

"A mission like that will take awhile to set up. You will need a skilled tracker team as well as well as the firepower to be able to deal with ninja like Itachi and Kisame. I can't go as I'm still going through information we have collected on the Akatsuki." Jiraiya said.

"I'll go, but I will need either Gai or Naruto to come as well, otherwise I wont stand a chance against those two." Kakashi admitted.

"I'm in. If Sasuke does succeed in killing Itachi and it would be the best time to capture him and return him to the village since he'll most like be weakened by the end of the battle." Naruto said.

"I am going too, I know I can convince Sasuke-kun to return to Konoha." Sakura said determinedly.

"Temari I would send you along also but I just remembered that you were leaving tomorrow, and I know your probably homesick now." Tsunade replied which got a solemn look from both Naruto and Temari.

"Yeah..." Temari said almost inaudibly.

'Well would you look at that..' Tsunade couldn't help the small frown that came on her lips. Her little sunshine was actually gonna be sad. Like a lost puppy trying to find his owner.

"Well there is your assault team done. Now you just need a scout and tracking team and your all set." Jiraiya said.

"Team 8 will be returning from a mission tomorrow and then I will be giving them the rest of the day off but they could join you the day after so you could leave as early as then." Tsunade said.

"Sound's great Baa-chan but I have gotta run now, I'm working on something that need my full concentration and attention so when its time to get going just send a messenger and I'll be there.." Naruto said and jumped out of the window.

"Tch, he forgot me..." Temari said slightly annoyed Naruto was not going to be as much time with her to work on whatever since Tsunade had just pointed out she'd be leaving tomorrow.

"Well, as Naruto is no longer here, the rest of you are dismissed but get some thing's ready to leave by tomorrow afternoon." Tsunade chuckled as the rest of the occupants slowly filed out until only Jiraiya and Tsunade remained.

"Look's like thing's are going to become far more hectic around here." Jiraiya said as he moved toward the window but just used it as a seat.

"There is nothing we can do about it, but why didn't you volunteer. I thought you would jump at another mission with Naruto." Tsunade asked.

"I would but truth is I am following up a lead on the Akatsuki and it shouldn't be that bad so I should be back within two to three weeks." Jiraiya said.

"When am I not?" Jiraya grinned as he jumped out the window.

~1 hour later~
~Naruto's compound~

Temari had strolled her way into Naruto's compound with a to-go tray of Ichiraku ramen in hand hoping to relax since it was her last day here in Konoha.

"I'm back!!" She announced wanting Naruto to acknowledge her presence.

Hearing a crash then a Yelp of 'FUCK!!' Including other items hitting the floor. What the hell was this baka up to now?

"Are you alright?" She swore he was such a clutz in some eyes it would be hard to believe he was one of the top Jonin in konoha. Yet, he was her clutz.

"Gah!! I'm coming!! Just gimme a minute!!!"

Putting the food on the table she went to the cabinets to grab some sake and cups for them to drink.

Looking over her shoulder she saw the unpredictable knucklehead himself with splashes of ink on his chest and face looking sheepish.

"Do I even want to know?" She asked lamely making her way back to the table.

"Heheh, that's a story for another time! No need to dig up what happened in the past! You'll still love me no matter what.." He grinned trying to cover up the fact he most likely lost his composure.

"Tch..whatever." Naruto went over to her leaning into her body kissing her neck.

"Gimme food now please..." he'd used puppy no justu eyes on her for more effect.

She feigned annoyance but was truly smiling from ear to ear, "Come along you big baby your foods right there."

Temari chuckled, he acted like such a child and if they ever had kids she wouldn't be able to tell which would be the bigger baby. She ended up kissing him back and telling him to sit down.

It was her last night with him and she wanted to spend every second with him.

~Across town~
~Sake & Yaki Bar~

Orochimaru's death had spread like wildfire throughout the village and over half of it was celebrating the death of one of its deadliest criminals.

That is, except one Anko Mitarashi.

Who was currently in a bar drinking her woes away with some hard hittin stuff guaranteed to get her wasted within the next hour. She sighed, shouldn't she be happy that her old pedo snake fuck of a sensei is gone?

I don't get her wrong while she is happy the he's dead but...fuck...she knows this is kinda fucked up but...FUCK! Some part of her wished she'd kill him herself and severed the bond with her old sensei for good. Then again we all can't have what we want.

"Another." Anko slurred, finding that her tongue went numb from the chemicals she consumed. The bartender sighed again.

"Coming right up."

She couldn't talk to kurenai about how she felt, with everything going on between her and her future baby including the lost of her recently deceased fiancée Anko wouldn't want to put more than she can eat on her plate.

"Could life be any more confusing right now..." She groaned head falling onto the counter.

"Maa maa Anko, I can assure you life can get much more confusing than this." Said another voice she least expected to come into the bar.

"Well well well look who's decided to show himself. What are you doing here Kashi-kun? It's a tad bit out of the ordinary to see you of all people in this bar letting loose." Anko took a swig of her vodka the bartender brought her intrigued on what what one of konohagakure's top Jonin to a bar like this.

"I'm only human like the rest of us Anko, even I need an escape from reality sometimes." Kakashi spoke while ordering some warm sake.

"Ain't that the truth." She took another swig relating to the words of her new drinking buddy.

A few minutes went by of silence with just the music and chattering of other people going on. The buzzed happiness of people having a good time, something that they should enjoy since for sure in the near future a storm was go gn to come.

Kakashi looked at Anko who while in the outside looked like her normal carefree self he knew by looking in her eyes what she really felt. She was hurting.

"You talk about me being out of character yet your the one with the real depressing aura." Kakashi took a sip of sake and gave her a sideways glance.

"Is there really anything to celebrate for? Sure, the world's biggest monster is dead and burning in the seven pits of hell for what he's done while still living...but, deep down some selfish part of me wishes I had don't it myself...for the things he's done to me and all those others that suffered at his hands." If he didn't know any better he saw that Anko's sleeves were wet.

She was really fucked up about this.

Kakashi had stayed silent and let her keep talking, he himself could truly relate to her situation and weirdly enough wanted to comfort the snake mistress in her times of...erm...confused feelings.

He gave her an almost awkward pat/squeeze on the shoulder. He really wasn't good at giving females any comfort but he was trying.

"Even if that bastard is dead his connection with me will always be right here. My mark of shame.." Anko pulled her trench coat off the side of her shoulder for Kakashi to see her cure mark given to her by death's truly.

With being sure what to say now Kakashi finally spoke out.

"You are stronger than most Anko. You've had that curse mark for over 12 years now. You never show the pain you bear and never let anyone in."

He the man went to rest his hand in hers. "What your doing right now isn't weakness, it's your body letting go of the pain and sadness. And you know what, screw Orochimaru and the people that have put you down. The past is behind you, it doesn't matter. What matters is moving forward, into the future, and doing what's right."

Anko looked into his eyes. He stared into hers and nearly flinched, they were so full of pain, anger, sadness, hatred, and betrayal.

"Maybe the past is behind you, but mine lives with me every day. This stupid curse mark reminds me of that bastard every waking moment. The bastard who was my sensei, who was suppose to protect and train me, had cursed me." She was in the verge of breaking down.

"Yes, he taught me, but he also taught me the forbidden jutsus... the ability to do things which most ninja's wouldn't dare dream about."

"Knowledge isn't everything, you need to know how to use it and Anko, even after all you've been through, you keep going. It's amazing."

"Shut up! Shut up! shut up!!" She slammed her fists onto the bar startling a few people.

"You don't know what it's like to be abandoned by the one person in the world you thought you could trust... to be abandoned, cursed, and have him destroy your life. I wish he was here. I wish Orochimaru was here right now. I'd stab this kunai..." At some point she had taken a kunai out.

"... right through my hand and his and I'd take that sorry bastard to the grave with the forbidden jutsu he himself taught me!!"

Kakashi had scooted forward, pulled the kunai out of Anko's hand, slowly put it into his kunai pouch, and pulled Anko into a soft embrace. If this had been a sober Anko she would have immediately pushed him off but something about his embrace just felt right.

Even if it did come from Kakashi.

"Anko, your death won't solve anything. Temge people that care about you wouldn't want you throwing your life away." He whispered, "I don't want you throwing your life away."

Anko struggled, but Kakashi held her close. Finally she gave up and just let her head rest on his chest. The waterworks were coming faster than she had planned. Kakashi just held her, held her and gently stroked her hair and murmured that everything would be ok.

~Somewhere in Ame~
~Sealing cave~

Utakata was suspended in mid air while the energy of the Rokubi was slowly being drained from him.

"Kami, he was a pain in the ass to capture. His fucking bubbles kept getting in the way of my art, yeah." Deidara said loudly.

"Yeah he was strong but Tobi and Deidara sempai were stronger in the end!" Tobi said from his position on the hand of the sealing statue.

"We are close now. Zetsu have you found the hidden entrance to Taki yet?" Pein asked.

"Yes Pein-sama. The entrance is hidden underwater behind a waterfall. It will not prove to be a difficult capture. From our scouting in the village the girl who hold's Nanabi is hated by everyone, and forced to live outside of the village alone. Quite different from the report's they sent to Konoha. I would say with Kisame there to absorb the demonic chakra it will not be difficult to capture this one." Zetsu said.

"Good then once that is done we will begin to make plan's to deal with the Hachibi and the Kyuubi." Pein said authoritatively.

"It will probably take some planning to capture any of those three. This is not like Suna where they only have one high level ninja and he is young. Or like Iwa and Kiri where the jinchuuriki are left to run wild because they are not cared for. Naruto-kun is the son of the Yondaime Hokage and Kirabi is the brother of the current Raikage. They will be highly defended and It's doesn't help that both are very capable shinobi with and without their biju." Itachi said hoping to stall Pein as much as possible.

"This is true, we will need to wait until they have been separated from the other high level ninja who protect them." Pein said.

"That will not be easy Pein-sama. The Kyuubi jinchuuriki is always accompanied by sone string shinobi. In fact Naruto and Jiraiya are very close. The only time they have been apart is when he takes any easy mission with others." Zetsu said.

"We will think of something, an opportunity will appear in time and we will have to take full advantage of it." Pein said.

~Konohagakure village gates-
~Two days later~

Naruto walked towards the village with a huge smile after a successful morning of training and finishing the work on his latest seal.

He had been keeping it secret from everyone including Temari who thankfully had left yesterday so she wouldn't see anything. Thought at the same time he was upset see wouldn't be able to see it until a later time.

As he arrived he saw team 8, Kakashi, Sakura, and Yamato waiting at the gate all conversating amongst themselves.

"Am I late?" Naruto asked seeing all them there just staring blankly at him.

"Could've just said yes..." he mumbled.

Getting serious Kakashi took charge.

"Alright, listen closely. Starting now, our main objective is to find Itachi and take him into custody. The akatsuki is rounding up tailed beasts and we believe that they already have the three tails. According to the intel gathered by Jiraiya-sama, it's possible that they've infiltrated the land of fire and are looking for Naruto. Remember, Itachi is originally from the hidden leaf village, three years ago he came searching for Naruto." Kakashi said hearing team eight (from Hinata) gasp.

"He's probably headed back to the leaf village as we speak." Shino finally spoke up after have been listening to the situation.

"Sasuke is probably close by too, following Itachi." Sakura said

"If Sasuke is close then I'll be more than ready." Naruto said

"We better just take it one step at a time for now guys." Yamato reminded the two original members of team seven.

"Here's the search protocol. We'll use this as our center point and search a five kilometer radius in all directions. If we don't find anything, we'll move the center point and search the next 5 kilometer radius. We'll keep repeating this strategy until it works." Kakashi said

"5 kilometers? If we spread out that much we won't be able to use our wireless com units and if we all split up like that it could be very dangerous. Rules dictate a minimum of two man squads for patrols so if an enemy..."

"Sakura try not to be so worried." Yamato said

"Look." Kakashi without another word summoned his ninja hounds.

"Our voices are able to reach farther than any com unit. Also our noses can detect danger. We'll protect you." Pakkun said

"Alright. Let me explain the team rosters for our patrol. To be safe, I'm assigning two ninja hounds to each team member." Kakashi said

"No need Kakashi-sensei." Naruto put his fingers to his mouth whistling a bird call until his companion came out.

"This is Taeko, he'll help me during this mission." Everyone stared in awe at the big black fox who the summon dogs began to growl at.

"Settle down! I apologize, they are bit use to new scents of animals that are not their own yet." Pakkun apologized sincerely to the fox who just nodded his head understanding.

"Right. Well, since you're a jinchuriki and a target. To protect you from a potential akatsuki attack, you'll be escorted by Yamato and Hinata." Kakashi said to which Naruto nodded at the two people mentioned.

"I-It's good to work with you, N-Naruto-kun." Hinata stuttered.

"Likewise." Naruto smiled back to the now stuttering mess of a girl.

"Being a ninja hound user myself, Kiba and I will each have one dog. Listen, all of you. Your highest priority is to track Itachi and Sasuke's scents. If you do encounter either one, simply verify their location and return here to the central pole. Especially you, Naruto. Don't go running off." Kakashi said

"Don't worry sensei, I'm a good boy I can handle myself." Naruto said getting deadpans from everyone around.

"Everyone let's move!" Kakashi spoke authoritatively causing the younger ninja to scatter.

~With Itachi~

"Why are we heading into the Land of Fire?Isn't your brother who is hunting you there?" Kisame asked obviously confused as to why they were heading towards a fight which is something Itachi usually would try to avoid.

"We need to be here anyway, Naruto-kun is my target, but we cant move on him while Sasuke-kun is targeting me, I need to deal with that foolish little brother of mine." Itachi said.

"Well don't let me stop you, this sound's like it could actually be fun!!" Kisame grinned he shark like teeth in excitement.

"Yes, but I will need to find Sasuke-kun and get him to meet me at on old Uchiha hideout. I also want to face him alone so you can play with his team if you want. But do try not to kill them, they might be useful later." Itachi said with a blank expression.

"Kami, why do you never let me have any fun." Kisame pouted.

"Come on we still have a long way to go, and I need to send a clone to tell Sasuke where to come." Itachi said.

"Where are we going anyway, it's not exactly a small country, at full speed it take's a week to get to the other side of it." Kisame said.

"It's over the other side of the country. Back in the clan war's before Konoha was founded it was an old Uchiha stronghold in fact it was one of the few that were taken from the Senju clan but all evidence of there existence was erased once Madara took control of the clan. He said it was a sign of our superiority over the other clans." Itachi said.

Kisame sighed, yes his partner was confusing and unfortunately a total pacifist but wherever he was going he'd follow him until they got the job done.

~With Sasuke~

Team Hebi were walking down a gray corridor looking for any sign's of life but had not found any until they ran into two small cat's one was black and white while the other was a light shade of orange.

"Ah Sasuke-kun, it has been awhile!" the Black and white cat said shocking Suigetsu and Karin while Jugo just seemed to be mildly interested.

"Holy shit that thing can talk!!" Suigetsu blurted out shocked at what he just heard.

"Of course we can we are ninja cat's trained to speak over many generation's!" the smaller orange cat said.

"That's amazing! Do you think they will know where your brother is?" Karin asked.

"Ah, so that's why your here, your going after Itachi-kun. He was here a few week's ago but he left and I do not know where he left to." The black cat spoke.

"I see, then we need to buy some equipment and robe's. I assume I can still buy those sort's of things here?" Sasuke asked trying to hide his disappointment that there was no information on where Itachi was hiding from him.

"Yes of course come this way." the orange cat said and turned around to lead to an open room with a young lady who was folding some clothes.

"You hired some help?" Sasuke asked.

"Help? You mean she works for the cat's?" Suigetsu asked shocked.

"What's wrong with that? We paid her well." the orange cat said.

"So what do you need?" the other cat said.

"Basic supplies kunai and shuriken as well as some cloaks." Sasuke replied.

Several hours later they left the underground area wrapped in there new cloaks and they made there way out of the town they were in and began heading towards the north of the land of fire.

"So now what, we still don't have any idea's as to where Itachi is." Karin pointed out.

"We need need to split up that way we can cover more ground, we will meet up here again at the end of the day." Sasuke commanded and the group split up.

Once the other members of team Hebi left Sasuke began to head in the opposite direction to the others but after about five minutes stopped dead in his tracks when two people wearing black robes with red clouds came out of the forest in front of him.

"Hello!" Tobi said with a friendly wave of his hand.

~Couple hours later~
~With Naruto~

"Naruto." Sakura said

"Looks like this explosion caught everyone's attention." Yamato observed.

"There's evidence Sasuke was here just before we arrived." Sakura said

"I know." Naruto said

"How do you know? You just got here." Sakura said

"Sasuke was fighting an akatsuki member here. Judging by the size of the explosion I know which one it was." Naruto said

"Why didn't you say anything?!" Yamato yelled.

"We had our own problems to deal with. Besides, Sasuke isn't my main objective in this mission." Naruto said

"You could've saved Sasuke!" Sakura exclaimed.

"He's not dead Sakura. His chakra signature left the area as if he was summoned away." Naruto gritted out, patience wearing thin with his pink haired teammate.

"Thought so. As I suspected one of the other scents is identical to the one I detected in the city. Sasuke isn't traveling by himself anymore. He has three companions with him as well. They must be his accomplices." A ninja hound said.

"Then, he's in the town." Sakura said confidently.

"Your right, Sasuke's probably put together a team. All I know is that one of the five scents here belongs to Deidara." Kakashi said.

'I sure hope you know what your doing Itachi...' Naruto thought silently of the Uchiha.

~Unknown Location~

Pein was sitting in the rain when the blue haired kunoichi walked over.

"It would appear that Deidara is dead Pein-sama." she said with no sign of emotion as the rain fell.

"I see...and what of the boy?" Pein asked.

"He's alive, I saved him." came a new voice as Tobi appeared.

"Why did you do that? Isn't he trying to kill Itachi?" the kunoichi asked.

"Oh, there is no reason to worry, soon Itachi will be dead and we can have Sasuke join us. He is so full of hatred and anger turning him against Konoha and putting him to work for us will be easy.." Tobi said with a laugh that sounded nothing like his usual childish one.

"So, with Itachi out of way how do you plan on capturing the Kyuubi and Hachibi?" the kunoichi asked.

"Pein, I want you to prepare to attack Konoha. Let's wait and see how this turns out. Should Itachi survive we will have to rethink our strategy. He will not allow us to harm Konoha while he is alive." Tobi said.

"Sound's like an acceptable plan but we should also wait to see if your new toy can be controlled. The last thing we need is another strong enemy." Pein said.

"It will not be a problem. I understand how Sasuke thinks, he is an avenger and will be easy to manipulate the darker emotions of him." Tobi said.

"Well you better hope that the Konoha ninja don't get to him first, they have sent a team out to hunt for Sasuke or Itachi composing of both the the kyuubi jinchuriki, Kakashi Hatake, a medic, and a team of tracker's." Konan reported.

"Then I guess I will have to stall them before they can reach the battle field. I cant have them interfering with the fight or stopping me from taking Sasuke afterwords." Tobi said disappearing with the world spiraling around him.

~The next day~
~With Sasuke~

Sasuke's group had left the small town the next morning having used Karin to heal Sasuke by having him bite her arm. From there hotel they continued to head north but when they stopped to take a rest in a nearby cave trouble set in when Itachi appeared.

After a small skirmish between Sasuke and Itachi it became clear that Itachi was nothing but a crow clone but Sasuke was given the spot where they would finally settle everything.

"We need to head east. He's in a old Uchiha base. I will soon have my revenge and he will be dead!" Sasuke victoriously spoke and set off with the rest of team Hebi following close behind.

After about an hour of running however Karin spoke up.

"We are being followed, a large group of Konoha ninja and...oh we are in trouble it feels like two very strong chakra signatures are following us." Karin analyzed.

"Do you know who they could possibly be Sasuke?" Jugo asked curiously.

"Probably some old friend coming to say hi." Suigetsu said.

Sasuke meanwhile was just getting angrier at this.

'Dobe you dare try and interfere with my revenge again!!' he thought viciously as he slowed down slightly.

"We need to loose them tear small pieces off your robes and Jugo we need some animals to carry them in different directions for us." Sasuke gravely replied.

Once a small group of birds and other small woodland creatures appeared, the members of team Hebi tied parts of there robes to them and sent them off in different directions.

"Good now lets go we are only a few hours away." Sasuke said before running off again in the direction of Itachi.

~A few hours later~
~With Naruto~

Naruto had been by himself away from his group with Taeko and knew he was only around half an hour away and would soon be able to see the hidden compound until the air in front of there group rippled.

"Hello Kyuubi Jinchuriki!! Tobi is pleased to meet you!" Tobi childish like manner slipped out as he appeared out of nowhere.

"Kit! That's the man who pulled me out of Kushina!! Be weary of him, he might be playing a fool now but who knows when he'll show his true colors!!" Kurama growled thrashing around in the Mindscape.

'So...he is the masked man.' Naruto assumed not taking his eyes off the man for a second.

"Oi you loon!! What's your name?" Naruto knew this wasn't smart but still worth a try.

"Tobi already told you!!! You must not be a good boy or listener!!" Tobi angrily huffed turning around.

"Right, and I'm Hashirama Senju." Naruto sarcastically said rolling his eyes.

"Your mean to Tobi! Tobi's been a good boy!!" The Akatsuki member whined.

Tobi however was in for a surprise when Naruto blurred out of existence and right next to him but to Naruto's surprise his fist went right through him.

'The jinchuriki is fast. If I had my sharingan activated I would have been able to see him move. The fact that nobody was able to tell he disappeared speaks volumes of his skills.' Tobi thought.

"Gatsuga!!!" Kiba came charging in along with Akamaru and the other members in the mission.

Kiba then tried attempting to kick Tobi to the side but the kick just passed through him before Tobi swept Kiba's other leg out from under him causing him to fall.

"Kiba-kun!" Hinata yelled running after her teammate.

"Oh, Tobi would like for you Konoha ninja to leave! Tobi doesn't want you interfering in Itachi sempai's fight with Sasuke." Tobi said.

"You think you're funny, huh? Look buddy, don't waste our time!" Kiba growled out the infamous Inuzuka petulance starting to show with the guy around.

"Don't be rash Kiba! We need to wait and see. Study the situation first. We do have a numbers advantage." Kakashi warned.

"Should we attack him?" Sakura asked pulling out her kunai.

"No, he is just here to distract us." Naruto growled they were at a slight disadvantage they couldn't attack the son of a bitch but the only thing he knew was that he used some type of teleportation justu.

~A few minutes earlier~
~With Sasuke~

Sasuke was terrified as Itachi slowly approached he was out of chakra and out of idea's Itachi even removed his curse mark so he could not use that anymore.

Itachi's hand began to stretch out towards Sasuke's face in order to take his eye's when they both felt the Jutsu.

'Naruto-kun, amazing truly amazing... but it will not be enough to defeat Madara.' Itachi thought and his hand reached out and they came within centimeters of Sasuke's eye's.

Sasuke was staring in fear of his brother to busy to contemplate the huge jutsu he just felt when he noticed something Itachi was crying. Then he saw Itachi mouth his last words.

"I'm sorry Sasuke...but this is the last time." before collapsing on top of him.

Sasuke didn't have time to react when the large gust of wind knocked both Uchiha to the ground. Sasuke managed to stand before he collapsed.

Zetsu came out of the ground to observing the final result. "So Itachi won the fight, but his body gave out before he could take Sasuke's eye's, oh well." the black half said.

"We should go tell Madara what happened, but that last jutsu was powerful I wonder if he is injured at all." the white half said.

~With Naruto~
~Currently~

A plant like man sprouted from the tree where Tobi was standing.

"It's over." The plant man said.

"The battle is over Itachi won but his body gave out on him before he could kill Sasuke. Sasuke collapsed right after." The white half of Zetsu said.

'I failed you..Itachi..I'm so sorry.'

"WHAT! I don't believe it!"

'Fuck...' was what all the Konoha shinobi were thinking.

"Kidding...It's just as I expected." Tobi changed his voice from childlike to a dead serious tone in seconds.

(A/N: Brooooo, when I watched Tobi's balls drop I could not stop myself from somehow being so proud(;'༎ຶٹ༎ຶ')

'So you've finally stopped with the childish facade huh?' Anger was boiling up in Naruto's chest with who he thought was most likely the true leader of the Akatsuki. Naruto was so into his anger he unconsciously started drawing on Kurama's chakra.

"Calm yourself Naruto...you know as well as I when you draw on my chakra in anger is not a good combination."

"Damn you.." Naruto sent shivers up the Konoha spines. They had never heard him talk like that.

'Seems like my presence upsets him..' Tobi wanted to chuckle since he had managed to ruffle

"Listen I would stay and chat but I have other things to attend to." With that Tobi left with a swirl.

'No I failed, damn and with that Time space jutsu of his he could already be there taking Sasuke and Itachi's Body... Fuck!' Naruto though angrily but not one to give up he took off at his top speed towards the Uchiha clan hideout.

Naruto arrived to find his group had stopped as the black flame's of Amaterasu burned a large section of forest.

"Were not getting through that." Kakashi said looking over the huge area of black flame's.

"It's over. That Tobi guy has gone to retrieve the body's of Sasuke and Itachi. Itachi won but died afterwords from an illness while Sasuke as far as I know is still alive." Naruto informed the group realizing he was unable to stop Tobi from taking the two brothers and it hurt.

"So now what? We just go home mission over." Sakura asked disappointedly at another failed chance to get Sasuke back.

"Yes, this mission was a failure.." Naruto looked down defeatedly so much anger and regret in him.

"Well then we should return to Konoha and at least inform Tsunade-sama of our failure." Shino said, and the others nodded in agreement before turning in the opposite direction and began there trek home.
