Chapter ?: Chains of cold moon light

"The Heisei Kamen Riders have passed through this era. It's time to pass that power down to the future. Rejoice at the birth of the new king!"

Past
A tense chill hung in the air as Saber and Irisviel navigated their way through the maze of shipping containers and crates that lined the Fuyuki dockside.

A short time ago the suit clad Servant had been watching the silver haired woman as she had waded barefoot in the ocean waters, something that Iri had taken great joy in, being from such a remote and mostly snow locked area it was not something that she'd get to do normally.

It had been pleasant, that was until Saber had picked up on a rogue presence coming from nearby, most likely an enemy Servant who appeared to be announcing their presence to her.

Quickly getting past the initial shock Saber had to admit that whoever this was they seemed to be rather bold.

Before long the pair found themselves on a mostly deserted dockside, the area flanked by several containers, from behind one of them emerged a man with wavy brown hair and a beauty spot below his one of his eyes, clad in a sleeveless green outfit that revealed his bare arms, in both hands wielded a spear.

Whilst she wouldn't say it aloud, Saber had to admit that whoever this was he was rather handsome, his appearance appealing to her more feminine instincts, ones that she rarely if ever indulged in.

"Ah, at long last. I've been searching all day, seeking a worthy foe, but everyone just slinks away, back into their holes. You alone have accepted my offer." The brown haired man spoke up, fixing his gaze upon Saber, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth, "That pure energy surrounding you…you are the Servant known as Saber, I presume?"

"Indeed, I am," Saber replied, "And, judging by your choice of weaponry, can I assume that you are the Servant referred to as Lancer?"

Lancer responded by letting out a dry sounding chuckle. "Being unable to formally introduce myself by name to my opponent leaves a bitter taste in my mouth." He said, taking a step back as he produced his twin polearms as he assumed a wide legged stance, a long one which was red in colour and golden shorter one, both which were wrapped in black cloth with only their bladed tips visible. "The rules of this Holy Grail War, as much dislike I harbour for them, they cannot be helped."

Seeing her opponent assume his stance, Saber was quick to do the same, the smart looking business suit that she'd been wearing vanishing in an instant as she assumed her battle attire, her wind coated sword appearing in one of her hands.

"Saber, please be careful." Irisviel spoke up, the silver haired woman doing her best to keep any nervousness she had out of her voice. "I can support you with my healing magics should you need it but…"

"Irisviel, no need to fret. Just leave Lancer to me." The blond Servant addressed the silver haired woman, cutting her companion off. "What troubles me is that his Master is choosing to conceal himself. Be on guard, they may be plotting something, so be sure to watch yourself."

Having said this Saber then glanced back at her companion, all the while gripping her sword in her gauntleted hands. "And Irisviel…"

"Y…yes?" Iri replied.

"From this moment onward, I am trusting you to watch my back." Saber told her, her tone informing the Einzbern homunculus that she had full confidence in her.

"Saber…" Irisviel said, all traces of nervousness vanishing before all of a sudden, her posture shifted, becoming more confident whilst a determined look appeared in her pale face. "Very well, I leave you to it. I expect nothing less than victory in this fight."

These words were said in a manner that any Servant would expect of someone that had been appointed as a Master.

"I shall," Saber replied, raising her invisible blade as she once more turned her attention to the opponent before her. "I will do so without fail."

For a moment both warriors' eyes met one another, as she stared into Lancer's golden eyes Saber swore she could feel an unexpected sensation stirring within her, a yearning that she'd not felt in such a long time.

This man, something about him seemed to stoke feelings within her that she'd long since believed had been long since buried deep within her, ones she'd forced herself to push aside when she'd chosen to walk that path of a King.

But then she sensed the thrall that was pulling her in, and withdrew from such a feeling, seeing for what it was. "A charm spell?" She muttered, raising an eyebrow at the wavy haired man. "Are you trying to distract me, Lancer?"

Lancer chuckled again, but there was just the faintest edge of bitterness to it. "Forgive me. An unfortunate infliction I have had to contend with since birth." He replied, a sly grin spreading across his handsome face. "Although I suppose it too can't be helped on account of you being born a woman after all."

"You think too highly of yourself." Saber replied, despite her tone she found her opponents' attempt to charm her somewhat amusing. "I can assure you that it will take more than a pretty face and a cocky swagger to sway me."

"It was worth a try." Lancer shrugged, grinning as he did so. "So I see it's true what they say about the Saber Class's resistance to magic. I am pleased to see that my first opponent is made of sterner stuff."

Saber picked up a sincere note of admiration in his tone, and in spite of herself, she was just a little bit pleased. At the same time though, she couldn't help but be rather regretful, as it suddenly occurred to her how worthy her first opponent was, and what a shame it would be to have to eliminate him so early in the game.

But this wouldn't be the first time she'd have to make that kind of sacrifice, and she was more than certain that it wouldn't be the last.

She hoped, anyway. After all, she wasn't going to let something like admiration stop her from doing what she had to in order to get to the Holy Grail…the last chance she had to right the wrongs she had committed….

From her position Iri swallowed as she watched them, a feeling of nervous anticipation resonating through her. Saber and Lancer…Their battle here would mark the official start to the Fourth Holy Grail War.

Just as it seemed that the two Servants were about to engage each other, all of a sudden something caught both Saber and Lancers attention, both of them looking about them for whom or whatever it was that had intruded on them.

"S…Saber…?" Irisviel spoke up, confused as to what was happening. After so much build up she was confused as to what had caused both Servants to cease their proceedings.

Saber didn't answer her, her gaze fell upon one of the many crates that lined the area. "Your attempt to conceal your presence is futile, I know that you are there." The Servant of the Sword called out in a stern tone. "Show yourself."

No sooner had the blond Servant said this the sound of footsteps was heard and moments later Shiro-Woz emerged from behind one of the crates, the dark haired man sported a wry smile on his face as he strode towards where Iri and Saber were standing, seemingly unaware of Lancer's presence.

Saber narrowed her gaze as Shiro-Woz approached. "Identify yourself." She demanded.

"I am Woz and, in my timeline, a great tragedy was averted." Shiro-Woz replied casually. "My presence here is to ensure that this tragedy never comes to pass in this one as well."

"Woz…?" Lancer spoke up, cocking an eyebrow. His Master had not informed him of anyone involved in the Grail War who went by that name. "Are you also a Participant in the Grail War?"

"You misunderstand, the Holy Grail War holds no interest for me." Shiro-Woz replied. "I have little care for the petty squabbles of Mages nor the shiny bauble that you're prepared to kill each other over."

"If not for the Grail then for what purpose are you here?" Saber demanded. "For what other reason have you sought me out?"

Shiro-Woz began chuckling at this. "Such arrogance, to believe that you are the reason for my being here. I have no business with you failed King." He replied before dramatically pointing towards Irisviel. "Irisviel von Einzbern, it is you that I have business with tonight."

"M…me…?" Irisviel exclaimed, Shiro-Woz's declaration catching everyone gathered off guard. "What…what could you want with me?"

"To crown a new king of course, one that will pivot this world away from a future that will bring about only suffering." Shiro-Woz told her. "You, Irisviel von Enizbern, it has been decided that you will be that king."

"Me…King?" Irisviel exclaimed. "You…you want me as King?"

"Indeed, your ascension will pave the way for a new future for the whole world." Shiro-Woz continued; his tone jubilant. "All you need to do is accept my offer to make it so."

Irisviel looked away from him, turning her gaze towards her shoes. For a moment an uneasy silence hung in the air as both Saber and Lancer waited with baited breath as to what her answer would be.

"No, I appreciate your offer, but my answer is no." Iri said, once more looking back up at Shiro-Woz. "You say that in your time a great tragedy was averted. But it is not I that will ensure that this tragedy will never come to pass. I believe in my husband's dream, to create a world free of suffering. He will…"

"He will fail. The man you claim to love, the one you so loyally and blindly follow, he will fail." Shiro-Woz said sharply, cutting Iri off, his tone and expression instantly becoming deadly serious. "You have but a single purpose, the one you were created for. Your very life will be given up as a sacrifice, Saber and the other Servants will also be sacrificed, and it will be for nothing. Instead of a paradise all that will be achieved is fire and death."

Irisviel stared at him, she couldn't believe it. Never for a moment had she ever considered that Kiritsugu could fail to reach the Holy Grail and obtain his dreams. "N…no…" She muttered, "It…it can't be…?"

"But that doesn't have to be the outcome, I have come here to offer you the chance to create a new future." Shiro-Woz continued, reaching into his coat he produced an Another Ridewatch. "All you need to do is take this, use its power and the future you seek to create can be made possible. One you and your dear Illyasviel can both share in…together."

Holding the Another Ridewatch out in front of him, the barrett clad man pressed the button that was located on the top of the device.

KIVA…

Irisviel's eyes widened at the mention of her daughter's name. "Illyasviel..." She muttered, for just a moment a vision of the silver haired little girl's smiling face flashed before her eyes. "Illya…"

"Do not be deceived, Irisviel, do not allow yourself to be taken in by his words." Saber called out to the silver haired homunculus. "This man is a demon and like all demons his tongue is silvered and his words are poison."

"Tsk, you are just as tedious as you will be ten years from now." Shiro-Woz snorted. "I suppose I should expect as much from one who serves the Touki no Ouja so willingly."

"Touki no Ouja…?" Saber said, confused by Shiro-Woz's words. Quickly shaking her head her stern expression returned as she glared at Shiro-Woz. "Do not try your tricks on me demon, I am not so easily swayed. I do not know who this 'Touki no Ouja' you refer to is but I can assure you that I am nor will I ever be a follower of theirs."

The blond haired Servant then pointed her wind coated sword in the barrette clad man's direction. "Now begone, crawl back into the hole you slithered from." She spat venomously. "If you choose not to, human or not, I will not hesitate to cut you down where you stand."

Shiro-Woz stood his ground, unphased by Saber's threats. "Foolish, truly foolish." He said, more to himself than to the Servant who was threatening him, as he produced his Beyond Driver and placed it against his waist, the strap emerging from it and secured itself around him. "Very well then, if you truly wish to stand in my way, failed King, I suppose I have no choice but to deal with you."

BEYOND DRIVER…

His belt now in place, Shiro Woz pulled out his Ride Watch, one that was different in design to the ones that Zi-O and Geiz used, pressing the button located on top of it before slotting it onto a green port that extended from the left side of his Driver.

WOZ…ACTION…

The Ridewatch in its place, Shiro-Woz crossing his arms before he lowered and spread them out, flicking the casing and revealing the inside, a black screen with the helmet of this Woz's Rider form on it.

A green rimmed holographic smartwatch-like device formed behind him, a blue screen with various digital shaped numbers flashing. Not only that but the driver projected various green and blue lines that almost made a spider web around this Woz.

Techno music began playing as the standby theme while the silver clad Woz spread his arms out, giving a smirk.

"Henshin." Shiro-Woz declared, lowering his left arm he slammed his right hand into the back of the Ridewatch slot, the handle that held it being pushed into the Beyondriver's side, the image on the transmitting itself onto the main screen of the driver, the Woz image now being seen on the center screen.

TOUEI, FUTURE TIME…

The blue katakana for 'rider' appeared on the smart watch screen, soon flying out as various strap-like rings were digitally formed around him as a silver bodysuit with black patches on the sides of the body as well as well ones going down the sides of his arms and covering his shins and feet with bright green rimming. He had a few blue accents on his thighs, with blue armoring covering his hands, two green Ridewatch holsters on both forearms.

SUGOI! JIDAI! MIRAI! KAMEN RIDER WOZ! WOZ…

Soon enough the chest strap and shoulder armor formed, two large rectangular shoulders with green rimming and blue screens, holding katakana for 'Kamen' on them. The strap was a standard digital/smart watch, it mostly being black with green lining on the sides and around the holes.

His helmet fully formed, this one having a silver base on the back, with a green jaw piece that held black markings to form a jaw-like appearance compared to the other Ziku Driver users. The visor was a dull silver frame with circular black indentions running from the forehead, a green circle with 'Kamen' in Katakana alongside two black and green rimmed watch hands acting as the head crest. The Katakana that had emerged from the digital clock display that flew towards him and attached to the lenses of his helmet. The digital smartwatch-like display from behind shrunk and vanished once this Woz was fully suited up.

"The visionary of the future," The now fully suited up Silver Rider proclaimed, "Kamen Rider Woz!"

Recovering from being taken aback by the beret clad man's unexpected transformation, Saber lunged at the future Rider, slicing at him with her invisible sword as she did so, much to her surprise Shiro-Woz was able to dodge out of the way of her swing quite easily.

From his position Lancer watched the opening exchange between Saber and Shiro-Woz, a frown spreading across his face. Whoever this was he didn't appreciate having him intrude on what should be his battle with an opponent like Saber.

Gripping both of his weapons the wavy haired warrior's body tensed as he prepared to join the fray as well.

"Hold it Lancer, I'm curious about our new arrival." The voice of Lancer's Master was heard, the sound seeming to come from all around, his words halting the Servant of the Spear in his tracks. "Hold back for now, I wish to see how this plays out."

A scowl spread itself across Lancer's face. He wanted to aid Saber against this foe, if for nonother reason than to ensure that her defeat would be at no other hands than his own. But his Master had given him an order and, as per the rules of their contract, he had no other choice but to obey.

His grip tightened painfully, the brown haired Spearman could only watch as Saber engaged the silver Rider, slashing at him again and again, each time her efforts proving to be frustratingly futile.

Frustrated at not being able to get a clean hit on her opponent, Saber continued to press forward, unleashing a horizontal slash at Shiro-Woz who responded by dropping down, the wind coated blade passing over head of him.

Having avoided the blind haired Servants weapon the silver, green and black Rider retaliated by kicking at her legs with one of his feet, something that Saber managed to easily avoid

Woz rose quickly, driving his fist into her gut as he did so, the former king's eyes widening and her face twisted itself into a look of shock as she felt the air forcefully knocked out of her lungs.

Seizing upon his opportunity Shiro-Woz didn't relent, balling up his other fist he lashed out and delivered a punch that struck in the cheek, the force of which forced her to stumble backwards several steps.

Seeing an opening Shiro-Woz produced an AnotherRidewatched, pressed the button and forcefully pushed it into Saber's chest. "There, this is the perfect one for you." He told the blond haired swordswoman as she shuffled backwards a few steps. "After all it's only right for a King to have someone to enforce their will."

Saber stared at him, eyes wide and a look of horror on her face when all of a sudden dark wisp of energy erupted from her body that took the form of a dark blue card that passed over her and surrounded her, transforming her into Another Blade.

BLADE…

"S…Saber…" Iri cried out, a terrified look on her face as she and Lancer took in the visage of the monstrous creature that only moments before had been her husband's Servant let out a feral sounding cry that resonated throughout the area.

Present
A loud crash was heard, the sound of which caused Shirou to abandon what he was doing, emerging from the kitchen the rust haired teen Shirou found Saber crouched on her hands and knees next to a pile of broken dishes, a look of horror on her face as she stared at the floor.

"Saber, Saber, what's wrong?" He asked the blond Servant.

"Sh…Shirou, somethings wrong…" Saber replied, terror in her voice. "The past, some things changed. You need to hurry, you need to find Iri…"

Before she could finish her words, dark energy erupted from the blond haired Servant's body that took the form of a rectangular shape that passed over her as she once again transformed into Another Blade.

"Wha…what!" Rin exclaimed, staring wide eyed at the monstrous parody of the Knight of Spades.

"Saber just transformed into Another Blade again?" Tsukuyomi added. "But how?"

"SABER!" Shirou cried out, the plate of food he was carrying dropping to the floor as he dashed over to the spot where Another Rider was getting to her feet.

Before he could attempt to move again a black and red blur shot past Shirou and rammed itself into Another Blade, causing itself to stumble backwards. "Geiz…."

Quickly Geiz produced both his Ziku Driver and Ridewatch, slapping the first device against his waist where it secured itself to him before turning the faceplate on the second and pressed the button on it.

GEIZ…

He then slotted it onto its post on the buckle before bumping his fist in the top, causing it to tilt, and grabbed it in both hands. "Henshin…" He announced before giving the buckle a spin.

That done, he then slid the Ridewatch onto its peg, slamming his fist on top of his Ziku Driver, much like with Shirou a large clock like image appeared behind Geiz, this one designed like the display of a digital clock surrounded by a dozen smaller clocks. Tilting it slightly before seizing the upper and lower parts of it.

"Henshin…" He announced before he spun it.

(Clocking ticking noise followed by a clock chime) RIDER TIME! (Electronic Beat) KAMEN RIDER GEIZ!

"Zi-O, get out of here." Geiz said, glancing at the rust haired teen as he produced his Zikan Zax. "Go find out what caused this."

Weapon in hand Geiz charged at the Another Rider who growled in response as she raised her own sword and then swung it at Geis, both of their weapons colliding with one another.

Before long both of them had left the house and out front of Shirou's home, both Rider and Another Rider fighting it out whilst Shirou and Rin watched in from the front porch

"Emiya," Rin's voice snapping Shirou out of his stupor. "Don't just stand there, do something."

"R…right…" Shirou replied, producing his own Ziku Driver and placed it against his waist before taking out his Ridewatch.

Just as he was about to activate it, Another Blade knocked Geiz aside before locking her gaze upon Shirou. Letting out a growl she then lunged towards him, swinging her sword at Shirou, forcing both him and Rin to drop to the ground and roll out of the way of her swing.

Undeterred, Another Blade continued to slash at him, forcing the rust haired teen to try to stay ahead of her attempts. Another Blade instead reached out and struck Shirou in the chest, the act causing him to lose his footing and was sent sprawling to the ground.

Looking up Shirou's eyes were met by the monstrous visage of Another Blade, the Another Rider letting out a howl as she raised her sword before swinging it at him, Shirou closing his eyes tight as Another Blade made to slash at him.

Only nothing happened.

Cracking open one of his eyes Shirou was met by the sight of Woz standing over him, the long haired man using his book to block Another Blade's sword. "It appears my arrival is well timed."

"Woz…?" Shirou exclaimed, surprised to see the poncho-clad future man.

"Forgive me Waga Maou for not getting here sooner." Woz said, straining under Another Blades weapon as he tried to hold it back. "From the looks of things, the other me is causing trouble in the past again."

"Other Woz…" Rin exclaimed. "He's responsible for this?"

All of a sudden a barrage of projectiles struck Another Blade in the back, snarling the demonic looking figure turned to look in the direction the projectiles had come from and found Geiz standing there, his Zikan Zax converted into its bow mode before.

Quickly shifting his weapon back to its axe mode, Geiz charged forward to once again engage the Another Rider, striking it across the chest, forcing her to back up away from the red and black Future Rider.

"Zi-O, get going already." Geiz ordered, "I can handle her, go and fix this mess already."

Getting back to his feet, Shirou reached into his pocket and produced a Ridewatch. "Geiz…" The rust haired teen called out, tossing the Ridewatch to the red and black future Rider who snatched it out of the, inspecting he found it was the Blade Ridewatch.

Turning back to face his opponent, Geiz twisted the faceplate on the Ridewatch and pressed the button.

BLADE…

That done, the red and black future Rider then slotted it onto his Ziku Driver before grabbing both sides of the device and spun it.

KAMEN RIDER GEIZ…ARMOR TIME! (electronic pop mixed with Blade's opening theme) TURN UP! BLADE!

From his Driver appeared the screen launching out a large shimmering blue playing card that held the Blade Armor within it, which moved towards him. Just as the card could reach him, the card suddenly broke apart into several pieces that attached themselves to Geiz's Rider Armor.

Despite looking simpler in design compared to other Ride Armors, silver plate attached to Geiz's legs and foot pieces, the chest plate resembling the top half of the Knight of Spades, a pair of shoulder pads that resembled the Blay Rouzer that had several cards splayed out. The look of the Rider armor completed by a faceplate attached itself to the front of Geiz's helmet, the plate resembling the horned mask sported by Blade, the lenses of the helmet sporting the Hiragana for 'Blade'.

Simpler in design compared to other Ride Armors, the Blade Ride Armor consisted of the standard legs and arms. The front of the thighs had the usual thin strip on the front, these having similar patterning to Blades' thighs. The upper part of the chest plate resembled Blades' chest while the shoulders themselves were styled after the Blay Rouzer, having the symbol from the hilt, but also having a circular line of cards surrounding the sides of the shoulders. The front of the Geiz helmet was covered by the silver plate present on Blade's, leaving two circular eyes for the Hiragana for 'Blade' to go within.

Donned in his new armor, Geiz raised his Zikan Zax before charging towards Another Blade, a wave sparks erupting as their two weapons collided with one another once more.

TIME MAZINE…

A cry rang out as moments later a large shadow descended over the front yard of the Emiya estate as the massive machine capable of navigating the timestream appeared hovering just off of the ground.

"Shirou, get in." Tsukuyomi's voice was heard from over a loudspeaker. "We need to fix this before Saber can cause any lasting damage."

"Right," Shirou replied as he made a dash towards it. "Woz, let's go…"

"Very well Waga Maou." Woz replied, following after Shirou both of them boarded the Time Mazine, the moment the two of them were aboard the time travelling machine rose high into the air and took off into the past.

Past
"Bastard, what did you do to her?" Lancer demanded, fixing the future Rider with a hateful look.

"Why I merely changed her appearance to better reflect her new role." Shiro-Woz replied, before snapping his fingers "Blade, would you be so kind as to dispose of this trash."

The twisted version of the Knight of Spades let out a loud, guttural sounding cry in response before rushing towards Lancer, the brunette spear wielder narrowly avoiding being slashed by her vicious looking sword.

As the now transformed Saber dealt with the other gathered Servants, Shiro-Wiz turned his attention back to Irisviel. "Now, where were we?" He said as he once again began approaching her.

Grabbing Irisviel's hand, Shiro-Woz forced the Ridewatch into her hand before pressing the device against her chest, a swirl of dark purple energy appearing as before it was absorbed into her body.

No sooner had the object been implanted within her, Irisviel's eyes gave off an ominous looking yellow glow as chains of dark energy emerged from her body, wrapping themselves around her before they seemingly shattered, the pieces somewhat resembling a swarm of bats that quickly dissipated.

Where the Einzbern homunculus had been now stood a monstrous bat-like creature, its form somewhat feminine in shape, having black leather-like skin with silver armoring on her wrists, thighs and ankles. Her chest and face were primarily red and yellow in coloration, holding a stained-glass theme with various black veins framing over them. She had a long black cape with a popped collar and a red inside that went down to the backs of her knees.

Despite the cape, she also had wings, her left wing bore the date '2008' while her right had 'Kiva' emblazoned in it.

KIVA…

All around, several people were observing, all of whom were left stunned as they tried to comprehend what had just first was Lancer's Master, Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald, the head of a prestigious Magus Family, his mind was racing a mile a minute as he tried to make sense of this. The plan had been simple, have Lancer announce his presence to the other Servants to lure them in and from there he'd be able to analyse who ever showed up.

However the arrival of this Woz had thrown a wrench in his plans, the man had pretty much proclaimed that he was neither Master nor Servant and that he was apparently not connected with the Holy Grail War, (an obvious lie, why else would he be here in this city).

Through the eyes of Assassin Kotomine Kirei too was left in a state of uncertainty, trying to make sense of this unexpected development. In all his years as a one of the holy churches Executions he'd experienced many things, fought all manner of monsters and heathens, but this, this was nothing like he'd ever experienced before.

As he stood there in the dark basement located underneath his father's church, the sound of his teacher/co-conspirator, Tohsaka Tokiomi, filled his ear, demanding to know what was going on.

Finally Emiya Kiritsugu felt blood run cold as he took in the sight of the monster that had been his wife through the green tinted scope of his sniper rifle. "Iri…" He muttered, whilst he didn't know what had happened, he could tell that his carefully laid out plans had just shattered before his eyes.

Present

Illyasviel's features were twisted into a look of annoyance as she hurried through the corridors of her family's home base towards the location of the intruder who had infiltrated her castle.

Not moments ago the Bounded Field that covered the area surrounding her home had notified her of the presence of an intruder in her territory and were steadily making their way towards the castle.

Could it be that one of the other Master's had finally become bold enough to storm her home to take her on, then again maybe a Timejacker or Another Rider was responsible.

Despite herself Illya couldn't help but shudder at the thought of the group of time travelers and the monstrous Riders that they were creating, thoughts of them inadvertently dredged up unwanted memories of the time that she'd been transformed into Another OOO.

She approached the open doors that led out onto the balcony, Illya couldn't help but notice that the sounds of fighting had ceased, the sudden silence sent a shiver down her spine at just what kind of enemy had appeared in her home.

Pushing down any and all unease that she felt, Illya stepped out onto the balcony and in doing so was greeted by the sight of Another Kiva standing there, the defeated forms of Sella and Leysritt at her feet, both maids lying unmoving on the ground.

"You've got some nerve coming here." The Einzbern representative said, addressing the demonic looking bat themed Another Rider. "Who are you, tell me before I have Berserker crush you into paste."

Hearing her voice, Another Kiva turned her gaze towards Illya, letting out a gasp upon seeing the child like Master.

"There you are, at last, after so long," The demonic bat looking Another Rider said as they gazed upon the Einzbern Homunculus, the tone of their voice catching Illya off guard. "My dear sweet Illyasviel…"

Illya was surprised by this. Who was this, how did they know who she was.

Before Illya could say anything, all of a sudden Another Kiva's body began to glow before suddenly, in a swarm of dozens of energy bats, their form changed.

Illya couldn't believe it; all she could do in that moment was stare dumbfounded at her person standing before her. Standing there before her was someone who looked eerily similar to herself, same pale skin red eyes and silvery white hair. Their face, someone who could pass as an adult version of herself.

"Ma…Mamma…" She stammered, the sight of the woman who brought her into the world rendering her unable to do anything other than stare.

Irisviel looked back at her daughter, her red eyes beginning to water. Without hesitation she strode towards the white haired child and wrapped her around her, pressing her close to her body.

"Yes Illya, it's me." She replied, tears of joy running down her face as she embraced her child for the first time in a decade. "I promise…I promise that I'll never leave you again."

AN And like that the first chapter of 2024 is in the can and to that one guest reviwer who said they wanted Zi-O, well here you go.

So yeah, this chapter was what I was hoping to have posted for halloween last year but it wasn't able to finished in time, instead I figured why not make the first chapter of the new year instead.

Based on events that played out, as well as the number of Ridewatches obtained and the appearance of Shiro Woz, we're quite a bit removed from the first Zi-O chapter. Shirou and Saber are working together again although their relationship now is rather precarious, Shirou doesn't trust Saber as much as he did (she did try to kill him after all) and Saber can't be sure that Shirou won't end up becoming Ohma Zi-O, but then again they still need each to deal with the other participants of the Grail War as well as the Time Jackers and the Another Riders.

Anyway thanks to Shiro Woz everyones favourite homunculus mom Irisviel is now alive and got to be reunited with her daughter, however a pair of Another Riders are now operating in the Fate/Zero era which Shirou, Tsukuyomi and Woz have gone back in time to go deal with while Geiz, Rin and Archer Another Blade and Another Kiva in the present.

Also you've got to feel for poor Illya, she's been reunited with Iri, buuut you already know that when its all over she's gonna have to deal with the death of her mother for a second time. Not to mention its pretty messed up for Shirou cos by restoring the timeline he's basically allowing the Great Fuyuki fire to happen along with all the people who died because of it.

Meanwhile in the world of Toku shows that are currently airing there's quite a bit to talk about.

Honestly Gotchard's turned itself around in the last few episodes and become pretty good. Sure its not amazing but episodes 11-27 have been better than the first 10 were although lets be honest a lot of toku shows are like that for its first chunk of episodes are pretty much a slog you need to get through in order to get to the actual plot.

Gotchard Daybreak is the big mystery right now and there's been quite a few theories thrown about who they could be. I've seen Rinne's father, the Alchemist who created the Chemy as well as a future/alternative version of Houtaro being suggested as their possible identity.

While I'm not convinced of the alternated Houtaro theory if it turns out to be true its could mean that Gotchard is trying to pull a Kabuto, for those who might not know Hyper Kabuto first showed up at the end of episode 28 of Kabuto several episodes before Tendou obtained the Hyper Zecter until episode 34.

That aside Rinne is our first female Secondary Rider, Kamen Ridet Majade debuted in the Gotchard & Geats movie, Valvard will become an official Kamen Rider, Spanner's mentor was shown to be making another Gotchardriver in the last episode, and Legend has been confirmed to be debuting in the actual show. Knowing that Legend has his own villains makes me curious if they'll show up as well as if they do will Glion and the Abyssalis Sister work with them or if there's some connection between Glion and the Hundred.

Meanwhile King-Ohger has entered it last stretch of episodes. Turns out Racules was only pretending to be a villainous tyrant in order to empower Gira so they could kill Dagded. That being said while Dagded is gone (maybe) the Jester's are still around and I'm curious which of them will be the final bad guy that the kings will face off against in the final episode (my money's on Grodi).

Oh and the subbed version of the King-Ohger summer movie is now out.

Finally we've gotten our first look at the show that will succeed King-Ohger, Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger, and they look… … …interesting. While I'm not in love with them, the color placement on them looks off, the Boonboomger suits continue on the theme of them not just being a spandex suit which Sentai been doing since Zenkaiger, in this case they look to be based on jumpsuits that Race car drivers wear. Seriously Ryusoulger was the last time it was just a spandex suit cos the Kiramagers had their little shoulder pads.

Anywho, I think that this is a good place to stop. As always feel free to drop a comment, let me know what your thoughts of this chapter, comments are always appreciated.

Meanwhile I've got a bunch of stuff in the works. Recently I wrapped up work on a Gaim chapter that I've been working on for a while as well as new chapters for both Agito and Kiva in the works.

Happy new year everyone, hope you had a good Christmas, and peace out y'all.
