These are all flashbacks mentioned in A Sister's Love.
In summer 2020, Cooper and Lila decided to go to the neighborhood pool because it was one of the first few days of summer, and they wanted to go. Cool beverages were being served for kids, so they tried a few. There was the usual grape soda and Pepsi, but then Lila noticed something unusual. "Cooper, there's a passion fruit soda! I wanna have it!" So she had some, and then told him, "Tastes a bit weird, but that was cool!" They went back into the pool, and swam around for a few minutes before Lila curled over in pain. Cooper noticed and said, "Lila? You good?" She replied, "No...my stomach...it really hurts...I can barely move." Her brother noticed the pain in her voice, and looking at her, knew she wasn't doing well right now. He quickly got one arm behind her knees and another behind her back, held her up, and carried her out of the pool. He got her back on her feet, "What happened?"
"Belly...ache. It's really painful. A cramp. It was probably caused by something I ate..." And to make sure, he said, "It's not that time o-" She quickly said, "No, it's not. All I know is that my stomach is dying. It feels like...cramping, along with blades to my gut." Cooper was really worried. He asked, "Can you walk on your own?" "I think..." He told her, "Okay. Let's get changed back real quick, and I'll call our parents to meet us at the clinic. I'll drive us there. I love you, sis. You're gonna be alright, okay?" She managed to smile and said, "Okay. Love you too, big bro." They both got changed. With her arms clutching at her belly, Lila entered the car as Cooper opened her door and helped her into it. Cooper called their parents as he was driving to the clinic, "Hey, mom?"
"Yes Cooper? Everything good?" He cried, "No, not at all. Lila has some sort of really bad stomach cramp, and I'm driving to the clinic. Meet us there." Laura was scared, "Oh no...We'll be there right away." She took Nate and explained the situation. Laura said, "It seems that Lila has a really bad tummyache, so she and Cooper are at the clinic right now." and they started driving. Nathaniel was crying the whole way. "Lila..." he quietly kept saying. He asked his dad, in tears, "Is Lila gonna be okay?" He hugged his son. "She'll be fine. Don't worry." Eventually, the parents and Cooper arrived. Just as they came, it happened to be the moment when Lila was called. She explained the situation. After running some tests, the doctor concluded that Lila had experienced an allergic reaction to passion fruit, and that she would be perfectly fine. They gave her some medicine, and she ended up okay. Her family hugged her from all sides, and Cooper kissed her on the head. She was really happy to be okay, and to be surrounded by her family. They all said how much they love each other and went home after. They played board games until bed to celebrate Lila being okay.
This other time was when Lila was about 13, and Cooper was 15. Lila was on a court playing with some of her friends. When a group of boys told them to get out. She stood her ground and said, "No. We were here first, so we're not going anywhere. We could just separately do our things." He responded, "Nope, we need the court to ourselves." Cooper saw in the distance and walked over to intervene. He came just in time for the boy to throw the ball at Lila, and he caught it right before it hit her in the face. He said, "That was a mistake." The boy asked, "Who are you? Her brother?" He said, "Yes, actually." The boy gulped in nervousness, and attempted to attack, only for Cooper to simply block a hit, and punch him in the face. After the guy continued to try and attack, Cooper punched him in the nose hard enough to take him down. The boy was now bleeding and crying, which unfortunately got a teacher's attention. Cooper ended up getting sent to the office for it, and after his parents were called, they found out that it was out of self-defense. Because of this, it didn't go on his record.
The third time was after the allergy incident. At this time, Lila was 16 and Nate was only 5. Cooper wasn't there since he was hanging out with other friends. Nathaniel was in a playground, when teenagers who were Lila's classmates told him that he had to go. He refused and said that he was here first and they can't tell him what to do. Then, one of the girls grabbed him and tried to forcefully remove him. Lila saw this, and demanded, "Don't touch him." She stopped, and asked, "Lila? What are you doing here?"
"That's my little brother you just grabbed." She taunted, "What are you gonna do about it?" and made the mistake of trying to push her. Lila grabbed her wrists, twisted them a little, and said, "This." She gave her a sharp kick to the stomach, taking her down and knocking the wind out of her. The girl groaned in pain, clutching at her stomach. Lila noticed that she was trying to get up, so she kicked her in the head. Lila then said, "The rest of you, get out of here or I'll do the same to you. Think about this if you ever wanna mess with people at school, too." The girls helped their friend up, and left. Nate thanked and hugged her, and told her that she was like Auntie Nat right there, and that was super cool. Lila said, "Good. Then I must be learning well." Nate held his big sister's hand and said, "I feel safer like this. Can we go home now?" She laughed, and agreed to do so. As soon as they got home, after greeting their parents, Nate said, "Mommy! Daddy! Did you know that someone in Lila's class grabbed me? Lila saved me though. She kicked her butt. Well, her tummy to be more specific." Clint raised an eyebrow, being impressed. "That's my girl. Did she throw up?" She knew her dad was kidding, but said anyway, "No. But I might've knocked the wind out of her. I got her good." Cooper said, "Nice, looks like you're doing well." She was surprised that he was back with his friends so soon.
