{"THE KING OF ALL SHOWS!"}
*As peace has come upon all of Amity Park, there's always some chaos begging to be released. And somewhere in the Ghost Zone, there Vlad Masters (in Plasmius form) floats in front of an opened display case that has only a purple cushion inside with an evil grin plastered across his face. He flies away satisfied and goes into the red castle where the home of the Fright Knight himself remains to float in front of a door that's down the hall and opens it where it leads into a room with a sarcophagus and an odd green light shining on it; he flies towards it.*
Vlad: Here we are…
*The adult halfa stops at the foot of some stairs where a skeleton is holding a pumpkin with a sword sticking out of it and goes up the stairs towards the sarcophagus where another skeleton is holding a red sphere as inside the orb, it contains a ring.*
Vlad: Pariah's Keep. Home of the Fright Knight, and before that…
*He holds up the Skeleton Key and sticks it into the skeleton's keyhole-shaped nose, and turns it. The sphere around the ring dissolves, leaving a liquid residue on the skeleton's hands, and drops the ring into his hand.*
Vlad: The Ghost King. And here I am, Vlad Plasmius, *Puts the ring on* with all his power in the palm of my hand…
*Just when Vlad pumps his fist in the air with a dramatic laugh where the ring, however, merely sputters and emits smoke, which causes the man to look surprised at the ring, and then look away, frowning for a moment before glancing back towards the crown at the top of the sarcophagus.*
Vlad: Ah, of course. The Ring of Rage only works when one wears the Crown of Fire.
*And so, he flies up to the sarcophagus sticks the key into a triangle in its chest, and turns the key. The sarcophagus' eyes glow red. Outside of the red castle, the birds fly out of the tree just as the coffin opens, revealing Pariah Dark, the Ghost King himself.*
Vlad: Separately, they're nothing. But together, they give you power unimaginable…
*Once King Pariah's unpatched eye opens, he stomps out of his coffin as Vlad looks at him mortified. King Pariah is a huge - Scottish - (possible) Viking-like ghost, with only one eye, horns, one of which is broken, a beard thing, and layers of green hair. He wears a flaming crown known to be the Crown of Fire.*
King Pariah: *Slow and dramatic* Who dares?
Vlad: *Floats up to him, feeling uncertainty* Uh, hello... Plasmius, Vlad Plasmius, did I mention I'm a huge fan of your work?
*As the adult halfa smiles uncertain of his presence where King Pariah's eyes only narrow down at him before he sends a huge, red blast, causing an explosion to erupt towards the top of his castle which sends Vlad flying up and out of it. Soon, the King of Ghosts removes the sword and plunges into the purple pumpkin which frees the Fright Knight himself.*
Fright Knight: The Fright Knight lives!
King Pariah: *Throws the sword at the Fright Knight* To serve me.
Fright Knight: *Becomes quite surprised before bowing down at the sight of the king* King Pariah! You're up!
*Outside of the castle, Vlad appears to be a bit beaten while glancing down in fear at the sight of the Ghost King.*
Vlad: I've got to get out of here before he- *Halts as King Pariah looms over him* finds me!
King Pariah: *Grabs Vlad in his hand* You have freed me from my sarcophagus, and thus woken me from the forever sleep.
*However, when the Ghost King brings Vlad up to his face, he sees that the adult halfa is not wearing the Ring of Rage.*
King Pariah: You're not the one who woke me! YOU ARE A DUPLICATE!
*Just then, the duplicate Plasmius disappears in a wisp of pink smoke.*
King Pariah: So, where…
*Owning a surprised look on his face, he then grimaces as it appears that the real Vlad is currently back in the castle, chatting up the Fright Knight.*
Vlad: But surely, you and I could work out some sort of deal...
The Fright Knight: *His eyes narrow* A deal?
*Both are suddenly hit by a blast of red ectoplasm. Vlad flies away from the fray.*
Vlad: Call me… *Half salutes* We'll talk.
*When the adult halfa flies out of the castle, past King Pariah. The King of Ghosts fires a blast at him, which hits him full force. He is thrown back, smoking, and transforms back into his human form whereas back near the Fenton Portal of Amity Park, Jack and Maddie are working on another Fenton Invention known to be called the Fenton Pants. Jack plugs a plug into it, smiles, and presses a button, which causes it to glow and stomp.*
Jack: Sweet! The Fenton Pants are charged and operational! I'm telling you, Maddie, once this Ecto-Skeleton is finished, it will be able to beat back any ghost, no matter how powerful!
Maddie: *Bends over the pants* Yeah, but the interface is still glitchy and dangerous, Jack. *Stands back up* We need to work the bugs out before-
*Suddenly, a beat-up Vlad flies out of the Portal and crashes to the floor, the Ring of Rage in hand. His hand closes on the ring as Jack and Maddie look at him, horrified.*
Maddie: Vlad Masters?!
Vlad: *Weakly holds out his hand* Jack, my fat old friend… Help me…
*After managing to speak this out, Vlad passes out, leaving Jack looking at him a bit terrified.*
*Now at Casper High School, Sam, and Tucker walked towards both Danny and Carrie where the two halfas stood happily by the tree as they had been encountered in a battle between Ember McLain and Skulker.*
Sam: You two seem pretty happy today.
Tucker: Why shouldn't they be? Last night they shoved Ember and Skulker back into the Ghost Zone.
Danny: And I still had time to finish Lancer's totally useless book report. *Glances back at Carrie* Thanks for the help, Care. Couldn't have gotten through it without you.
Carrie: *Shrugs* Hey, what else are partners for, Fenton? And besides, *Points* you did help me repair Ember's guitar after the fight we had with Youngblood.
Danny: *Raises an eyebrow in concern* I wonder how he's doing… *Leaps from the tree* Ah, well, it doesn't matter, because nothing could spoil this day.
*Unfortunately, the male halfa had spoken too soon where the voice of Dash is heard as he and Kwan stand nearby, holding a football.*
Dash: Think fast, Fenton-i!
*When the blonde jock throws the football, instead of it hitting Danny, it hits Carrie on the head, which causes the girl to let out an "Ow!" before falling to the ground.*
Danny: *Glares at Dash* Hey!
Dash: *Scratches the back of his head in regret* Whoops, wrong geek… Sorry, Mayth. *Holds his hand out towards Kwan who is holding another football* Kwan, hand me yours.
*And the second Sam and Tucker helped the female halfa up, Kwan handed his best friend another football, only this time, it targeted Danny where it had him thrown back by the force of the football. Tucker, Sam, and Carrie rush to him, mouths open. The football is on his chest and he leans up, dazed, leaving Dash and Kwan running past him, laughing. Seething, Danny then turns around and fires a blast of ectoplasm from his finger and so, the ectoplasm knocks over a sign that says "No Stopping Any Time," which causes Dash and Kwan to trip over it. Danny walks over and picks up the sign, smiling.*
Danny: No stopping any time, nitwit.
*He drops the sign by their sprawled bodies and they look at him with scowls.*
*Inside the school, Sam, Tucker, and Carrie stood by Danny as he put books into his locker.*
Sam: You realize you're playing with fire.
Danny: *Turns to look at her* Well, sometimes I have to use my powers for the greater good.
*He points his finger, which results in Sam, Tucker, and Carrie looking over towards Dash who is about to open his locker. And once he does, toilet paper sprawls over him.*
Tucker: And come on, how good was that?
Sam: *Sarcastically* Nice. Using your powers to stuff toilet paper into a locker. He's going to find out it's you.
Danny: *Holds his hands in a surrounding mock* Hey, don't look at me, *Gestures to Carrie* Carrie here gave me the idea…
Carrie: *Shrugs as Sam glares at her* Well, he did say it was for the greater good. *Smirks at Danny* For some of us at least…
*Not even expecting it, Carrie leans over and presses a kiss against his cheek. Danny becomes shocked for merely a second before glancing down at the ground, blushing, leaving Tucker (and slightly Sam) to smirk a bit at this moment.*
Danny: And besides, have you seen his grades?
Danny and Tucker: *Pointing at each other* Never gonna happen!
*However, Dash examines the toilet paper to find the face of Jack Fenton embroidered on it.*
Dash: Hey! This is Fenton Wipe!
Carrie: *Softly facepalms* Should've been more specific…
Sam: And 'never' is Karma's doorbell… *Mimics a doorbell* Ding-dong! It's for you.
Carrie: *Puts her hand on Danny's shoulder* Uh, this would've been the time for you to start running…
*And so, he does, but Dash quickly glances to find the raven-haired teen running down the hall, and lets out a growl before chasing after him. Now, inside the cafeteria, the band kids/geeks are seated at their table, playing "Nerd Poker."*
Band Geek: Aha! *Holds up a card* I blast you with my Ball of Infinite Exposition!
Mikey: Aw, man, you bored my character to death…
*Soon, Danny bursts through the double doors and looks for a place to hide. While panicking, his blue orbs caught sight of one of the band geek's tuba and rushed towards it just for an angry Dash to stand inside.*
Dash: FENTON!
*When Danny is nowhere to be seen, the blonde jock runs out of the cafeteria, leaving Danny, who hid underneath the band geek's table to breathe in relief and adjusts himself to suddenly find Valerie Gray also hiding underneath the table beside him.*
Danny: Find your own hiding spot. *Points behind himself* I've got dibs on 'Under the Nerds Playing Nerd Poker.'
Valerie: Ease up, Fenton. You're not the only one who needs to hide, you know.
*Just then, a geek named Nathan stands by the band geek table, holding a picture of Valerie.*
Nathan: Valerie, where are you?! It's only three years until Senior Prom! Why won't you say, 'Yes!?'
Danny: Three years? *Smiles* We could be here a while…
Valerie: *Smiles* Wanna check over our book reports?
*Danny smiles slightly at this offer, seeing as they have nothing else to do until the people they are hiding from cool down.*
*An hour later, Danny is now running away with Valerie huffing and puffing beside him as they had been caught during school hours. Once they make it around an alley, both teens are a bit relieved to be met with Sam and Carrie hiding behind a dumpster. Sam points at Danny with an expression of curiosity.*
Danny: Hiding from Dash.
*She points at Valerie.*
Valerie: Hiding from Nathan… *As she says this, Nathan runs by* You two?
*She points over down the alley and Danny and Valerie turn around, mouths open, as Pamela Manson is shown holding a large frilly, lacy, ribbony pink dress with a box of her makeup line "Stay Perky" that both infuriates the two rebel teens.*
Pamela: Sammy-kins! At least try it on! Oh, Carrie, sweetie, I know you're somewhere with Sammy, please come out! *Holds up a stick of yellow eyeshadow* This eyeshadow is just a touch-up, I'm sure your mother doesn't mind me having you try it!
*Carrie shudders as she, Sam, Danny, and Valerie peek from behind the dumpster until Danny notices the area and gives them an idea.*
Danny: C'mon, over there. *Points to his house* We can all hide in my house.
*And so, the four ran out of the alley together, the trio ran closely beside each other while Valerie was following right behind them.*
Sam: So… what's up with this? Why are you helping her all of a sudden?
Carrie: Yeah, I mean, *Mutters this loudly for him to hear* the girl is a ghost hunter - she literally hunts us!
Danny: Ah, she hid me from Dash earlier today. I'm just returning the favor.
*The four finally make it up the steps.*
Sam: Well, be careful. The last thing you'd want to do is invite the arch-enemy into your own house…
*But just when this is said, once Danny opens his front door, his and Carrie's jaws drop at the surprising sight of Vlad Masters seated right in his living room with Jack, Maddie, Jazz, and Joyce gathered around. He wears a towel over his suit and plays chess with Jack while Maddie holds a teapot, and Jazz is reading a book with Joyce.*
Vlad: *Causally moving a chess piece* Ah, hello, Daniel! *Looks at Carrie* Oh, Caroline, my what a sight you have become, how have you been, dear child?
Sam: Too late…
*Having her eyes sighted on Vlad, Carrie begins to slowly breathe heavily as she feels a large amount of anger boil up inside when having to meet her father causally seated with the Fentons and her mother.*
Carrie: *Through gritted teeth* Way to jinx it, Manson!
Danny: You! *Stomps over to where Vlad and the others are sitting* What are you doing here?
*Just then, Maddie frowns angrily and pours the tea. The boiling hot tea purposely misses Vlad's cup and instead falls on his pants. He howls in pain and holds himself.*
Maddie: *Hands Joyce the teapot seeing as she needs a refill* Totally valid question.
Vlad: Still steaming?
Maddie: *Leans angrily towards his face* You have no idea.
*Knowing what happened back in Colorado, Carrie finds herself becoming calmly collected and snickering at Maddie's behavior towards Vlad as she finds it gladly easy to justify. However, the female halfa didn't expect to find her mother pleased at this sight until she figured that Maddie had already informed Joyce about their field trip back in Colorado which made the ghost huntress finally realize the creepiness Vlad was toward her and the grudge he holds against her husband.*
Vlad: I was just, you know, passing through… And then I saw that marvelous battlesuit and thought, since I can't just destroy Jack and take it, *Happily points up Jack's face* I suppose I'll steal its secrets right out from under his nose!
*Jack looks worried, but seeing as Vlad is still smiling, he realizes that his old "friend" is joking where seconds later, both men are laughing like idiots, causing all of the teens to blink in uncertainty.*
Vlad: *Wipes a tear from his eye* I swear, I am such a jokester. *Holds out his teacup to Joyce* Oh, be a dear and pour me some more tea, Joscelin?
*However, Joyce doesn't hesitate and pours the tea on his head.*
Vlad: NOT THERE! Ooh!
Joyce: *Scowling at him* Would you like two cubes of sugar with that?
*He gets up, covered in tea, frowning while Maddie merely walks away, scowling with Joyce, allowing Jack to run after both women, leaving Danny and Carrie to walk up to Vlad.*
Danny: I don't know what you're up to, Plasmius. Actually, I do. You just told me.
Carrie: And me. So listen here, if you so much as put a finger on my mom or Danny's mom, or-
Vlad: Oh, don't get your pigtails in a bunch, Caroline, your mother and Maddie are here in one piece, aren't they? *To Danny* Now, as for my plan, yes, *Leans closer to him scowling* that's right. And say a word, and I'll share not just your secret, but Caroline as well with- *Becomes pleased to see Valerie standing right behind them* Ah! *Goes to stand in front of her* The young Miss Gray.
Valerie: You know me?
Danny: How do you know her?
Carrie: Yeah, I mean, that's kinda creepy if you ask me, old man…
*Just before this could summon things up, the alarm from an Ecto-Exodus, which, like all other inventions, looks like Jack has its eyes glow red, allowing Jack and Maddie to run into the room where it is. Jack flips up the top of the bust, revealing a button. He presses it and the family photo flips over, revealing a panel labeled "Ghost Zone Radar." It pictures several ghost-like pixel images moving towards one point.*
Jack: Galloping goblets, it's the Ecto-Exodus Alarm!
*The teens all run over towards them.*
Danny, Sam, Jazz, and Carrie: The Ecto-whaty-what?
Maddie: The Ecto-Exodus Alarm! An alarm that only goes off when we're about to face a massive ghost invasion!
*Soon, the Pacman Ghost-like ghost images race closer to the point, meaning the Fenton Portal, and so, both halfas share each other a look before nodding, meaning this is gonna be the biggest fight they were to ever battle.*
Danny: *Grabs Carrie's wrist* Stall them!
*And just when Jack runs in hopes of reaching the portal, Sam purposely sticks out her leg.*
Sam: Umm… Oops!
*After Jack trips and falls to the ground, Maddie begins running also, which causes Jazz to drop her book on purpose next.*
Jazz: Whoops!
*Maddie slips on the book and slides into the closet, which closes behind her. Sam shoots an odd look at Jazz, who frowns and looks away innocently whereas during this small commotion, Joyce couldn't help but chuckle to herself as it is wonderful to see the two girls help her daughter out so she could go and help save the world. Momentarily, Valerie goes to prepare by grabbing her backpack with her ghost hunting stuff in it; except to find that it's not over her shoulder and in the hands of the person who gave it to her himself.*
Vlad: *Holding up her backpack with an evil smile* Looking for your ghost hunting equipment?
Valerie: *Walks over to him surprised* Ghost hunting? How do you know about my ghost-hunting equipment?
*Vlad then drops the backpack into her hands, puts his arm around her shoulder, and ushers her to walk away.*
Vlad: Please, walk with me.
*Once they leave the Fenton home, back downstairs in the laboratory, a red light is flashing. Danny and Carrie run down the steps and transform into their ghostly selves when jumping into the air. And now, together, they float in front of the Portal, bracing themselves.*
Carrie: *Anxiously folding around with her fingers* Uh, Danny, are you sure we can take on an entire stampede of ghosts?
Danny: As long as we have each other's backs. *Holds out his hand* You with me, Care?
*Carrie says nothing but inhales a deep breath to let it out and grab her partner's hand, interlocking it for a brief moment.*
Danny: Okay, here we go…
*The second they let go, their eyes gaze into the portal and are ready to be blown away by a mob of ghosts only to have the Box Ghost stick his head out of the portal.*
Box Ghost: *Sticks his arms out* Beware!
*Once this ghost reveals himself, Danny stares, then begins laughing while Carrie breathes in slight relief only to have a sudden feeling.*
Danny: *Puts a hand on his head in relief* Oh, man! Only you?
Carrie: Uh, I wouldn't get too comfortable about him being the only ghost, dude…
Danny: Why?
*Suddenly, two blue beams of ectoplasm shoot out of the portal and hit them square in the chest, knocking them to the ground. Soon, a boot lands on Danny's chest while the Box Ghost stands nearby Carrie as right in front of them, the "greatest" ghost-hunter known to be Skulker, stands on Danny.*
Skulker: *Looks back at the portal* I told you there was a way out through here.
*Soon, out pops Ember's head, then Walker's, then an ecto-pus, and Johnny 13's shadow, all looking very scared until along with them, out comes about a million other ghosts, bursting out of the portal.*
Skulker: Go! Go! Go! GOOOO!
*As the ghosts burst out of the basement and go into the storm clouds above Danny's house in four columns, with a few stragglers. Back inside, Danny pulls Skulker off of himself and flies him out of the house by the leg with Carrie following behind. Once the male halfa throws Skulker back up, he gets back into position easily. Danny does a little backflip and then proceeds to punch Skulker alongside Carrie until they are stopped by the Dragon Ghost, who is being ridden by Sidney Poindexter.*
Poindexter: I know this might sound a little fishy, but Skulker isn't the bully here!
Danny: Bully? What are you talking about?
Carrie: Yeah, what are all of you running from? *Looks up to all of them and her eyes are met with Ember's* Ember, what is it?
Ember: His name is Pariah Dark, the King of All Ghosts.
Skulker: And why would we be in a hurry… *Pounds his fists together* We'll always have time for this!
*And so, the ghosts proceed to beat up Danny and Carrie. Skulker hits Danny over the head, Desiree punches Carrie in the groin, and Walker smacks the male halfa with his rules book, leaving Ember to blast the female halfa with some heavy metal rock. The ghosts form a tornado around them, which they are thrown out of, and severely beaten. Once they hit the ground and transform back into their human selves, the tornado disappears. Sam runs out of Danny's house stops at the curb, and looks down at them worried.*
Sam: You okay?
*Obviously, with their state looking terrible, Danny opens his eyes and frowns at her while Carrie opens her eyes (also frowning at her in annoyance) before slowly standing up.*
Carrie: Other than the fact that we were severely beaten by a bunch of runaway ghosts, *Glares and goes over to help Danny up* what do you think?
Sam: Sorry, standard question. *Helps Danny up with her* What was that about?
Danny: I dunno. *Looks at Carrie* But I think Vlad Plasmius just became the least of our worries...
*And speaking of Vlad Plasmius, the adult halfa is now riding on the hoverboard with Valerie, who is dressed in her ghost-hunting suit.*
Vlad: So, the equipment is tuber-locking and it functions properly, does it?
Valerie: Hell, yeah! It's like you designed it just for me!
*They land on a building and Vlad hops off, where the hoverboard retracts back into Valerie's feet.*
Valerie: Why would you do that? *Removes her hood* I'm like, fourteen…
Vlad: You're also the most capable ghost hunter I've ever seen! You're smart, you're fast, you're strong, and most of all, you're motivated.
*As these compliments are said, Valerie smiles graciously.*
Valerie: Really?
Vlad: Of course! Why else would I say such a thing? I would have to be some sort of, oh, diabolical villain, to manipulate you like that!
*Valerie stares at the man, but seeing as he smiles big (and fake), they both begin to laugh as he has made another laughable "joke."*
Vlad: *Wipes a tear from his eye* Ho, ho, I kill me! *Clenches his fists* Or Jack! *Realizes what he said, he looks to Valerie who becomes a bit confused, but decides to change the subject* And, my dear, it's the reason I can trust you with this…
*The adult halfa pulls out something from inside his suit and displays it in his palm, and the item happens to be the Ring of Rage itself. He holds it up to show the young ghost huntress.*
Valerie: A ring?
Vlad: *Lying through his teeth* Not just any ring. It's been passed down from ghost hunter to ghost hunter for generations.
*He hands her the ring and she puts it on.*
Valerie: I don't know what to say…
Vlad: *Grabs her hand* Don't say anything, dear. But please, let's keep it our secret, hm?
*Once he finishes this sentence, a ghostly moaning is heard and Valerie does a double-take.*
Valerie: What was that?
Vlad: Probably Jack, goofing up again. *Looks at her* I believe you have a job to do.
*She nods, then puts on her hood before activating her hoverboard.*
Valerie: I won't let you down, Mr. Masters.
*As she flies away into the night, Vlad steps onto the ledge.*
Vlad: Oh, of that, *Transforms into Plasmius* you can be sure. And young Daniel and Caroline will be so busy protecting you; stealing that battlesuit will be a snap!
*Just when the adult halfa expresses the "snap!" he kicks the head off an ornate stone dragon, crashing it to the pavement.*
*Meanwhile, back in the Ghost Zone, three glowing green skeletons are standing in front of the Fright Knight as the Spirit of Halloween is looking to be gathering an army.*
Fright Knight. Your armies are amassed?
*The skeletons grunt and salute him.*
Fright Knight: Then on my orders-
*Suddenly, King Pariah Dark comes up behind the Fright Knight which surprises him.*
King Pariah: On MY orders! *To the skeleton army* Go to that world! Bring the ring to me! And to those who stand in your way; show no mercy.
*The skeleton army and the Fright Knight don't say a word but before the Ghost King's orders, he then walks over to a railing overlooking the skeleton armies. They grunt and raise their arms in salute to him and begin to march out.*
*The next morning at Casper High, lunch hour arrived and both Danny and Carrie held their trays in exhaustion due to not having well rested after last night's chaotic event.*
Tucker: Guys, are you okay?
*They look at him, owning a tired expression (Carrie most likely giving him a grumpy one) and having bags under their eyes seeing as Sam had asked them that question yesterday.*
Tucker: Sorry, standard question… Late night?
Carrie: *Groans in irritation* Of course it was a late night!
Danny: Because every ghost we know and about a million we don't are loose!
*As Danny finishes saying this, an ecto-pus comes in, laughs, and steals his lunch.*
Danny: Not to mention I couldn't sleep because my arch-enemy was in the guest room next to me…
Sam: My parents sleep in the bedroom next to me. It's not the same, but I can't sleep either!
Carrie: *Scoffs coldly* Oh, jokes on you, Fenton, I've had to sleep under the same roof he owns!
*After she says this, Valerie walks up behind Danny.*
Valerie: Hey, Danny.
Danny: Hey, Val.
Tucker: *Looks worried* 'Hey, Val'? Isn't that the same Val that's usually on a jet-sled trying to paste Danny?
Sam: *Sarcastically* Yep, and apparently next week, we're having cookies with Skulker!
Carrie: *Crosses her arms* I'd rather take guitar lessons from Ember.
Valerie: You might wanna… bag lunch it outside. This isn't exactly the safest place for you right now.
Danny: What makes you say that?
*Once this is asked, Dash and Kwan soon come up behind Danny.*
Dash: Hey, Fen-turd, no teachers around to protect you, no nerds around to hide you.
Tucker: *Walks up to him angrily* Hey! I resent that! I'm plenty nerd!
*Just then, Dash shoves Tucker's tray, carrying his lunch into his face.*
Danny: Dash, take a hike, will ya? I'm way too tired to put up with you. Besides, shouldn't you be failing a test, kicking a puppy, or beating up somebody weaker than you now?
Dash: Come to think of it, yeah!
*And so, when Dash tries to punch Danny, the male halfa turns his chin intangible at the last second, causing the blonde jock's hand to merely graze the air. Not only does Dash look at it in astonishment, but so does Danny, and Carrie who was spectating from nearby.*
Sam: *To Carrie with her arms crossed* Since when can you guys do that?
Carrie: Since now apparently…
*Danny then fires a small ectoplasm beam from his finger and melts the bottoms of Dash's shoes. When the jock attempts to punch Danny again, he begins to lose his balance, which causes Valerie to accidentally (purposely) drop her lunch and kicks it over to Dash, who falls in it. All the other kids start cheering and Danny smiles at Valerie. She runs away as Carrie, Sam, and Tucker walk over to him.*
Tucker: Sweet!
Carrie: Yeah! Who knew we could only have parts of our bodies turn intangible? It's genius!
Sam: Is it? I know Dash is a jerk, but what if he saw something?
Danny: He's not gonna see something… *Angrily* Besides, I'm tired of getting kicked around all the time. *Closes his eyes and folds his arms* Maybe it's time I do a little kicking back!
Carrie: That's the spirit, Fenton! Unleash your inner anger. *Crosses her arms with a proud smile* It makes you feel good, doesn't it?
Danny: *Puts an arm around her shoulder* It sure does, Care. *Pulls her closer to him* It sure does…
*Watching how her best friends intend to be with their emotions, Sam's angry look turns into a worried one.*
*Meanwhile, back at Fenton Works, Jack is still working on the Fenton Battlesuit with Vlad's help this time while Joyce finds herself upstairs with Maddie, making sure that her ex-husband doesn't try anything odd, yet creepy tricks upon the woman.*
Jack: *Looking down from the top* Vladdy, my man! Could you hand me that watchermajigit?
*Vlad, who was loitering by a table in the lab, grabs a part of the invention and walks over to Jack with it.*
Vlad: *Squats down and hands him it with a "kind" attitude* Here you go, old chum. *Stands up and leans against the suit* Any idea when this suit might be finished?
*Jack slides out from underneath the suit. He is working on it as if it were a car.
Jack: Quit pushing me, V-Man? I'm working on it as fast as I can!
*Soon, a loud neighing is heard coming from the Fenton Portal and this causes Vlad to become worried.*
Vlad: Can we… pick it up a little bit?
Maddie: *Running down the stairs with Joyce* What was that?
Jack: Could be me. *Slides out again and jumps up* I made huevos rancheros for breakfast!
*However, it most definitely wasn't the man in the orange jumpsuit, but the sounds of a horse neighing are heard again where suddenly, the ghost portal bursts open, ending a part of the door flying right into Jack as Vlad grabs Joyce by the shoulder and simply steps them both aside where the adult halfa doesn't even bothering to warn him.*
Vlad: Jack, look out. *Smiles humbly* The door…
Joyce: *Shoves Vlad off with a scowl* Oh, real mature, Vladimir.
Fright Knight: *Aims his sword* Go, and find the King's ring!
*Behind him, the skeleton army marches out of the Ghost Zone and runs around the room, going intangible, and flying out when they reach the wall, shouting as they do so.*
Maddie: Jack, we have to shut the portal!
Jack: *Still stuck under the door* Yeah, I'll get right on that.
*Joyce goes over and attempts to help Jack from underneath the door whereas Maddie runs over to a switch that supposedly closes the portal, but is grabbed by the Fright Knight. She is hoisted onto his horse.*
Jack and Vlad: *In sudden sync*Hey!
*Soon, without the assistance of the lawyer's help, Jack throws the portal door off himself as he finds his beloved wife held by the Spirit of Halloween himself.*
Joyce: Maddie!
Jack and Vlad: *In sync again* LET GO OF THE WOMAN I LOVE!
*Hearing the voice of his old friend, Jack gives Vlad a surprised look when he hears those words until he manages to find an excuse.*
Vlad: Like a dear friend. *Points to the battlesuit* Is any part of that suit operational?
Jack: Well, the pants part, but it's not calibrated yet. Using the suit could kill you.
Vlad: *Smiles as he processes the idea of the suit being connected to his old "friend"* Well then, maybe you should try it first. It is your battlesuit!
*The Fright Knight fires a beam from his sword at them. Jack grabs Joyce in one arm and slams Vlad into the wall to save him from the blast with the other.*
Jack: That it is, V-man. It's time to kick a little butt. *Let Joyce go, then gets off Vlad, and gets into the pants* And these are just the pants to kick it in! Neural receptors engage…
*He presses a button, engaging the neural receptors whereas the neural receptors are snake-like metals that attach to the spinal cord and arms, allowing the person in the suit to control the suit with body movements. Once they have engaged, Jack jumps in full view of the Fright Knight; Nightmare the horse neighs again just for the Fright Knight to attempt to fire beams at Jack, but he simply dodges them. He jumps up and kicks the Fright Knight's arm repeatedly, freeing Maddie. He then runs up and does a hardcore kick.*
Jack: The kick is up…
*And he does another kick that sends the Fright Knight and his horse right out of the house and over the roof, out of the building.*
Jack: And it's gone! Ha ha! Nobody can touch me while I'm wearing the Fenton… *Voice drags as he feels the suit weakening him* The… Ecto-skeleton… weakening… me…
Maddie: Jack! *Catches him as he is about to fall* The suit's draining you like a battery! *To Vlad* Vlad, help me get these pants off Jack!
Vlad: *Holds his hands up* Nope, sorry, that's all you.
*When he runs away, this leaves Maddie to frown.*
Joyce: Oh, that mind of his. Come on, Grabs Jack's other arm* I'll whip up some tea, maybe it'll help boost your energy.
Jack: *Weakly* As long as it's… *Groans softly* chamomile…
*Meanwhile, around the city, the streets are being overrun by the ghosts that have escaped where most of the damage is done by the skeleton army as many of them throw cars into shop windows, slice open fire hydrants, and generally cause a lot of mayhem. People are running, screaming in panic as the skeleton ghosts chase them. Watching this happen from a building above, Poindexter peeks down from the window.*
Poindexter: Those poor humans… *Turns around* They're being overrun by ghost bullies!
*Inside the room with him, it's Ember, Box Ghost, Skulker, and Lunch Lady.*
Ember: Oh, who cares about them? That is the Ghost King's crew. He's on his way here!
Skulker: Which means we have to camouflage ourselves. And you hear that? *Watches as crowds flee the city* That's confusion and panic. Which means it's the perfect time to find our hiding place.
*And immediately, all the ghosts smile evilly when having to agree to this. So, off to finding their hiding places, first is the Lunch Lady Ghost, and her hiding place is of course a place surrounded by meat (and those who enjoy it) known to be the Nasty Burger itself. Inside the fast food restaurant, a completely calm employee is flippin' patties, until the patties fly into the air and form the Lunch Lady Meat Monster; she roars for a brief second.*
Lunch Lady Meat Monster: *Regular voice* Lunch, anybody?
*Instantly, all the employees run away. At a local Box Store, a couple runs in while looking terrified as they aren't expecting what they are about to witness.*
Man: We need boxes and lots of 'em!
*However, that didn't stop the Box Ghost from flying in through the ceiling.*
Box Ghost: Never!
*The couple hug each other, screaming whereas meanwhile at the Guitar Place, Ember is found standing on a counter in front of a small crowd.*
Ember: Hey, kids… Here's a little ditty I like to call: GET OUT OF MY NEW HOME!
*She then plays a power chord that smashes the windows, and it allows all the people to run out of the windows, screaming whereas one boy finds this assuming in his eyes.*
Guy: She rocks!
*Now, at a store where those who enjoy the meaning of hunting are known to be Hunting Goods, Skulker is found seated on a camp chair, aiming his weapons.*
Skulker: Away, humans! This is Skulker's lair now!
*When he retracts the weapons, the guys in the store (fat men in camp gear) scream and run. Poindexter comes up through the floor as they run, intangible.*
Poindexter: This is not on the square, Skulker. *Becomes tangible and flies over to Skulker* We're pushing these people from their homes. We're no better than the Ghost King…
Skulker: No one lives here, it's a store.
*The ghost hunter then takes out a crossbow and shoots an arrow out of it where foxes of arrows soon come out and they pin Poindexter to the wall.*
Poindexter: This seems oddly familiar...
*As all this is happening, the skeleton army finds themselves strolling towards Casper High where Danny, Carrie, Sam, and Tucker are having a discussion about how the male halfa has most likely become friends with the girl who had nearly tried to capture him and Carrie.*
Danny: Sam, please, tell Tucker he's nuts.
Tucker: I don't feel like I'm nuts…
Sam: And I don't think he is either. Valerie is one of your enemies, Danny. Do you think it's smart to be letting her this close?
Danny: Pfft! I can handle it.
Sam: *To Carrie* You're seriously not gonna agree to this are you? Hello, she's also your enemy?
Carrie: Yeah, but that's when she's flying around as Red Riding Ghost Slayer, but I don't know, seeing as she helped Danny hide from Dash, but maybe if we get to know her well, things could change…
Danny: See? Care even understands. And besides, she's not so bad… once you get to know her.
Valerie: *Standing from beside him, listening to what they were saying* Thanks. You're not so bad yourself, Fenton. *To Carrie* And hey, even though we've had our differences, we never really get the chance to hang out, so what do you say, Mayth?
Carrie: I say, sure!
*Not even bothering to hear what she has to say, Sam and Tucker turn around angrily.*
Valerie: What's up with them?
Danny: They're… Really good friends, and they're just being overprotective…
Carrie: Yeah, *Crosses her arms* you'd get used to it…
Valerie: Of what? It's not like we have anything to hide.
*After she says this, Danny and Carrie give their friends a look while they frown angrily at them until suddenly, their ghost senses set off.*
Danny: Woah! We gotta jet, because remember, we have that thing to do, right, Care?
Carrie: Uh, yeah! Yeah… *To Valerie* We'll be right back!
*When the duo runs off, they bump right into Dash to which he instantly grabs Danny by the collar.*
Danny: Dash! *Notices the skeleton army walking around outside the school* Uh, look, this is really bad timing, can we reschedule?
Dash: Don't think so, runt. Unless you think you can make me!
*Soon, Danny's eyes glow green and the next thing they know, Dash is slamming himself against the lockers, yelling. He falls to the ground, exhausted. Danny, who was overshadowing him, flies out of Dash's body and into a nearby hall beside Carrie. He walks out of the hall, completely human where Sam, Tucker, and Valerie stare at him.*
Danny: And… There's more where that came from, Baxter! So… Watch it!
Carrie: And now for his next trick, Danny will make us disappear!
*However, when both halfas quickly run around the corner, they are met with the adult halfa Vlad Plasmius himself, standing at the end of it.*
Vlad: It feels good to use your powers on your enemies, doesn't it, Daniel? *Looks at Carrie* Oh, Caroline, why can't you do the same thing? It'll help ease your mind a bit, don't you think?
*Once this is suggested, Carrie growls angrily at the sight of her father before transforming into her ghostly self and fires an ectoplasmic beam at him, which knocks him (phasing) through the wall.*
Carrie: *Looks at Danny who transforms into Phantom)* You know, he's right, it does feel good!
*As they fly after him, this leaves Sam, Tucker, and Valerie still around the corner of the hallway.*
Valerie: *Curiously* Where are they always running to all the time? In their case, only people I see running off like that have a job. Or are dating… *Raises an eyebrow at Sam and Tucker* He and Mayth a thing?
Sam: Uh, no… It's weird because everyone always assumes that.
Tucker: Even the ghosts- *Feels a sharp pain in his stomach made by Sam's elbow* Ow!
Sam: And hello, they're our best friends, so if something were up with them, they would definitely have to tell us. And besides, if they were together, *Crosses her arms* it wouldn't exactly be your business now, would it?
Valerie: Weird… Then make sure Mayth gets this from me. She'll have to tell him at some point, because she likes him, and I mean, like him - like him, she better make a move. Because if she doesn't, somebody will…
*Soon, beeping from Tucker's PDA is made and when he takes it out, the voice of Tiffany Snow, the news reporter is heard.*
Tiffany Snow: This is Tiffany Snow, with Action News… And this is the Ghost Emergency Broadcasting System. *The screen on Tucker's PDA changes to view the skeleton army* Amity Park is in the midst of a massive ghost attack. And now, here's Lance Thunder with the Ghost Weather!
*As she says that, the screen shows a skeleton ghost overturning a car whereas they move to another reporter known to be Lance Thunder next with the current weather of their town.*
Lance Thunder: As you can see, we have random ghost activities in restaurants, malls, and this box store. *As he spoke, the screen behind him changes to show the Box Store* If you look to the west, you can see a huge wave of ghost skeletons heading from the center of town towards Casper High.
*Back at Fenton Works, Maddie and Joyce had finally managed to get Jack out of the metal pants; still weakened from the battle he encountered with the Fright Knight.*
Jack: We have to… *Holds his head* have to…
Maddie: *Puts her hand on Jack's shoulder* Jack, you're still wiped out from the Fenton Pants. I'll get Danny and Jazz. *To Joyce* Don't worry, Joyce, I'll get Carrie, too. In the meantime, stay here with Jack.
*Once she runs off, this leaves Joyce holding onto an unstable Jack.*
Jack: That… works too.
Joyce: Don't worry, Jack, I'm sure the kids will be fine, *Smiles softly at the thought of her daughter and Danny being ghosts* they're in capable hands of protecting one another.
At the facility building known as Axion, Damon Gray - Valerie's father - is watching the broadcast of the Ghost Weather on his computer.*
Lance Thunder: All parents are advised to immediately pick up their children and RUN! RUN LIKE THE WIND! *On camera, the skeleton ghosts begin to attack Lance* Not the hair! NOT THE HAIRR!
The broadcast cuts off and Damon gasps in worry whilst back in the Casper High football field, Vlad is standing there dramatically as both Danny and Carrie touches down opposite him. And just as Danny flies up towards the adult halfa to send a punch until Vlad stops the teen by grabbing him by the throat; he lowers Danny down onto the field.*
Vlad: Calm down, Daniel! I didn't come here to fight you and Caroline! I have other things to worry about!
Carrie: *Charges an ecto-ray* Why don't you try worrying about being miserable and lonely for the rest of your life, old man!? Let him go!
And so, practically having to let the male halfa go anyways, Vlad throws Danny to the ground just as a horse neighs in the distance, signaling the arrival of the Fright Knight and the skeleton army. When the Fright Knight attempts to hit Vlad, he chops a wing off one of the goal posts. Danny and Carrie touchdown, their hands smoking and together, they fire a blast that hits a large group of skeleton ghosts. Just as one skeleton is about to slice through them, a pink blast of ectoplasm destroys it. The teens turn around to find that Vlad was the one that fired it as his hand is smoking.*
Danny: You're helping me? *Continues to fight off skeletons back-to-back with Carrie* Whaddya want, my mom's cell number?
Vlad: *Also fighting skeletons* No! But really, if you wanted to give me her number…
However, in the moment that he is defenseless, the Fright Knight grabs Vlad.*
The Fright Knight: The king's prize. Return it!
Vlad: I don't have it! *Perking up* But, if you join me, perhaps toge-
Suddenly, both are knocked away by a blast of pink, the Fright Knight looks up to see Valerie, in her hunting garb, holding up a smoking cannon.*
Valerie: Guess what, everybody! The best ghost hunter in Amity Park is here! And that means, you're about to get your ASSES HANDED TO YOU!
Vlad: She really is quite good at this…
Danny: She also thinks we're the enemy.
Vlad: Good point.
*Valerie then holds up some explosive balls and throws them at Danny, Carrie, and Vlad. The three clear out just before the explosive balls explode. Up above, a bunch of kids from Casper High, including Dash, Jazz, Tucker, and Sam, are watching the fight.*
Jazz: *Muttering to herself* Danny, Carrie, please, be careful…
*Right after she says this, all the kids' parents drive up, all owning big Jeep-like cars whereas the Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle instead pulls up driven by Maddie herself.*
Sam: Doesn't anybody in this town drive a compact car?
*Just then, Valerie's dad gets out of one of the cars and runs over to the teens.*
Damon: Kids! Have you seen Valerie?
Sam and Tucker: *In union* She's with Danny.
*Maddie then comes running up to them next.*
Maddie: Kids, have you seen Danny?
Sam and Tucker: He's with Valerie.
Maddie: Who's Valerie? *Shakes her head* Oh, never mind that. Uh, surely you two have seen Carrie anywhere by any chance?
Sam and Tucker: She's with Danny and Valerie!
*Back on the field, Valerie grabs Danny by the scruff of his neck.*
Valerie: Alright, Ghost, what's goin' on here!?
Danny: *Pointing* That.
*She looks to where he's pointing and it happens to be the Fright Knight dodging Carrie's ecto-ray and shooting one of his own at the female halfa which hits her into the arms of her father before he and his army fly towards them. To protect his two allies, Vlad duplicates himself to create a kind of shield while his main self holds onto Carrie for protection. Soon, the duplicates fire pink blasts at the skeletons, sending them back to whence they came. Finally, the duplicates then morph back into one Vlad just to have Carrie elbow him against the ribs, and scowl at him as a mere result towards her grudge.*
Vlad: Oh, no need for me to owe you anything else, darling, *Claps his hands together with glee* our tea session is this Saturday!
*Carrie says nothing but growls in anger and watches as the Fright Knight tackles Vlad where a skeleton ghost grabs her by the wrist, which allows her to realize some of that stress by giving it a good beating just to have Valerie realize for a brief second that she and Danny aren't the enemies.*
Valerie: Uhh… thanks?
Danny: You're welcome. *Flies a few feet over* Look, I know this is going to be hard to believe, but that guy is the problem right now, and me and my partner could really use your help…
Valerie: I still don't trust you, or your spooky friends.
Danny: You don't have to trust me or her, *Gestures to Carrie blasting an ecto-beam at a small group of skeletons before holding out his hand* just fight with us!
*The ghost huntress thinks about it for a second, and soon, the two enemies shake hands. Danny smiles triumphantly before flying off with Valerie close behind. Danny fires a blast at the Fright Knight while Valerie punches him in the face just to have Carrie fire her blast, and Vlad gets up to fire as well. The Fright Knight is knocked to the ground, but he is not defeated - not yet as he begins getting up.*
Fright Knight: Fool! All I wanted to do was seize the ring and return to Pariah's Keep. But now, you give me no choice. *Fully stands up* By the authority vested in me by my Lord and Liege…
*He holds up his sword, which seems to have burst into flame, and sticks it to the ground. When the ground and sword make contact, a green wave of ectoplasm sweeps through the town. Once the wave hits the skeleton army, they freeze in their tracks. The Fright Knight then steps away from the sword, which sends a column of ectoplasm into the sky.*
Fright Knight: I claim this town now and forever under the weather of Lord Pariah: The King Of All Ghosts!
*The column reaches a certain point, and then a large ectoplasmic dome closes itself over the town. Danny and Carrie are horrified by the sight as is everyone else where soon, the vapors in the ectoplasm come together to form an image of Lord Pariah himself…*

i know, i know, reign storm is supposed to be one episode, but i figured to split it in two parts bc that's how it originally was supposed to be, so i hope y'all enjoyed part 1, & i would jus like to say; happy new year, everyone! thanks for sticking around, & i'll see y'all in the next chapter/episode!
