Back in Edo…
"Kohaku there you are!" Sango shouted as he descended from Kirara walking towards Kaede's hut. With Rin gone and Inuyasha out of town she took on the task as village protector until he returns. "What's going on?" Kohaku asked. "A group of samurai came through the village a few days ago. They stopped here hoping to recruit able bodied men to go with them to battle. Apparently a hoard of demons and bandits have teamed up together and have been ravaging villages along the western mountains. Inuyasha and Miroku are still away, but I sent word to them as well on the matter." Sango finished explaining. "I see I'll gather my men and see if we can intercept the warriors on the way there." Although a typical group of bandits and low level yokai were easy to deal with, Kohaku had a bad feeling about this. Anyone who was bold enough to cause chaos in his realm will not be going down so easily. "Kirara!" Kohaku shouted as he ran to mount the large cat demon. "Quickly to the Demon Slayer village!" he commanded as they took to the sky.
