Hello! We are now here at the reupload of Act II! I will reupload this along with the latest episode that was recently released last week! Hope you all enjoy!
I don't own Total Drama, Chris McLean, Chef Hatchet, Blaineley, or any of the OC cast (besides my own characters). They all belong to their creators.
Day 1: Musimental Theater Dance Practice Room, 8:00AM
The camera cuts into a rather large room, with black, sleek floors, mirrors in the left side that pretty much covered up the whole wall, some drawers in the right side, five chairs in the middle, and a bunch of cameras, all ready for rolling.
A woman, around her late 20s, enters the room. She was pretty tall, dressed in a long red dress.
A microphone was given to her as she gladly took it.
"Good morning, fellow viewers! Blaineley here, as a new co-host of this season of Total Drama Act!" she greeted with the most 'enthusiastic' smile she could muster. "We are now here in the sequel to one of the most dramatic and intense seasons, Total Drama Act I: Musical Impact. Now, I would like to present our four returning hosts from the past seasons!"
Four people enter the room. Mainly Chris, Chef, Don, and Candela. Neither of them changed a bit since the auditions from the other day and they all looked excited to roast- I mean, meet the contestants. All four of them were given a microphone so they could say some words.
Chris wore a gray shirt and khaki pants.
Chef wore his Chef's costume.
Don wore a blue shirt, black pants, and a blue blazer.
Candela wore a white shirt French-tucked under blue skinny jeans. Her hair was also up in a mid-ponytail.
"Good day everyone, this is the original, one and only, Chris McLean!" Chris grinned.
An applause roared in the room, well, technically it was just a soundtrack as in reality, no one was applauding him but he didn't give a damn anyways.
"And I'm the host who pretty much got suspended after Chris did. 'Tis I, Chef Hatchet!" Chef introduced himself as some of the cameramen began applauding. Chris frowned in response.
"Why you oughta-"
"And don't forget about the host that hosted The Ridonculous Race, a reality show that had its ratings soar up to the sky! I'm Don!" Don interjected the sadistic host which made him fume a bit.
"You lil' motherfu-"
"LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, it's the only female host from last season, and the one who pretty much produced this series! It's me, Candela Monsoon!" Candela cheered as Chris was interrupted once more. However, Blaineley shook her head.
"Nuh-uh. Candela, you're getting a stage name." She announced.
"What! Doesn't Candela roll the tongue?" Candela crossed her arms at the sudden decision.
"Nope. I say both of us female hosts of this season should have something in common with our names. And not you starting with the letter C like Chef and that old hag over there." Blaineley said, pointing to Chris. "Let's have our names start with a B. Like me. Blaineley is my stage name, right? So I think your name should be-"
"Isn't Blaineley part of your real name?" Candela hissed, not liking the sudden decision Blaineley made. "Surely, you can't think of any good names that start with a B, right?"
"Oh yes I can." Blaineley scoffed. "Let's see, how does Brittney sound?"
"Ew, what the hell. Doesn't fit me." Candela shook her head.
"Hmm, how about… Bella?"
"No way."
"Becca?"
"Nope."
"Brea?"
"..." Candela didn't say a word.
"Well then, Brea it is." Blaineley smirked as she turned to the camera.
"Can't we just cut to the cast already?" Don rolled his eyes.
"Oh, yeah. Almost forgot about that." Blaineley snapped her fingers. "Let's have the opening theme first!"
"You fucking idiot, we don't even have an opening yet!" Brea snapped.
"Cut to the title card!" Chef shouted.
Episode 1: Rising Up the Red Curtains!
"Cheers to us, for having the first curtain call of the season!"
The title card appears for five good seconds before it shatters as if it were a mirror because of Blaineley's yelling.
"I say we welcome the judges first!"
Chris rolled his eyes.
Chris (Host): He stared at the camera and took a deep sigh.
"There's Blaineley giving Candela, or should I say Brea, a nickname and there's me hoping that she doesn't steal the damn spotlight. She is just a fucking co-host for Musimental's sake."
"Hey, you've told the cast about the confessional booth?" Chef asked.
"Pretty much." Chris replied.
And as if on cue, the five judges entered.
Enrique Lopez, a muscular man in his 40's with tan skin and a black mustache. From the looks of it, he looks Mexican. He had black hair that reaches to his neck and wore a blue dress shirt and pants. He walked in and sat on the first chair.
Evan Zito took the chair next to Enrique.a blonde haired man in his late 30's. He also wore a similar suit like the Chinese man, and had emerald green eyes that look surprisingly sad.
Holly Rosewood snarled a bit as she took the third seat. She was a 50-year-old looking woman. She had short blonde hair and piercing blue eyes and has an incredibly strict look. She wore a black blazer over a white dress. Oh boy, everyone is going to have a hard time to impress this boss.
Lee Chang, a Chinese man, looking a lot like a teenager, dressed in a black suit. The youngest judge, barely passing the age of 19. To surprise you, this charming young man might be as old as some of the contestants.
And Leticia Henderson, a dark skinned woman in her mid 30's. She had long black hair that was braided and black eyes. She also wore a maroon dress that suits her nicest judge. Probably the easiest to impress… unless if she has some standards. Unlike Holly here...
Applause was heard all over the room. And now…
"Let's welcome our contestants!" Candela- I mean Brea, announced. "Should we go from alphabetical order or from voice range?"
"Whatever's easier for you." Don replied.
"Okay. So our contestants will tell us their age, where they come from, and a fact about them. Why? Because it will be a part of the first challenge! :D" Brea grinned.
"You literally spoiled it, you imbecile!" Chris facepalmed.
"Well, for that, let me introduce you… Vanessa Navarro!" Chef smiled as he decided to take on… some random route.
Vanessa entered in her cue and stood in front of the microphone stand, crossing her arms over her red sweater (which sort of matches her short red hair).
"Wow… what a fantastic intro." She scoffed sarcastically. "Anyway, I'm Vanessa, some random 19-year-old Canadian who decided to audition, but anyway. One fact about me is that I love playing the piano."
Not seeming too keen on the pianist, Blaineley replied, "Thank you, Vanessa. Please stand in the back of the room, behind the hosts." Vanessa then went to the back as she was told.
Leticia looked at Vanessa as she remembered something.
Leticia (Judge): "Ah, it's nice to see some future professional pianists in the making." Leticia smiled, but gave a downed look. "I just hope that the piano back in Midcreek wasn't broken, so that I could work on my piano skills. I would love to coach her anyway."
"Next up, we have a contestant, who actually has participated in a bunch of other Total Drama seasons before this one, such as a classic spin-off of this series, Welcome To The Musical Parade!" Chris smirked. "Please welcome, Rival Survival!"
Rival entered the room before even his name was called. He fixed his red spiky hair and pulled up his dark shades as he adjusted the microphone stand a bit to match his tall height.
"Hello, everyone! I'm Rival, and I hope to make all sorts of friendships and Rivalries." He then laughed at his own pun. "Get it? 'Cuz my name's Rival and-"
Chef shot him up with a death glare.
"O… kay… ANYWAY! I'm 19 years old, from Hawaii, USA! And my fact is that I don't really have a good past, but let's just roll along with now, shall we?" He cheekily grins before being told by Blaineley to stand beside Vanessa at the back.
Evan stared at him with wide eyes.
"Everything alright, Mr. Zito?" Lee asked him.
"Ah, yes. Please do not worry about me, Lee." Evan slowly nodded as he looked at the floors beneath him.
Evan (Judge): "Sorry for acting like that… It's just that… that boy really reminded me of my son, Devin. He died two months ago because of heart failure. And that boy really had it all... His horrible puns, his carefree personality… Though sometimes, he still haunts around wherever I go…"
He sighed sadly.
"Probably why I was so sad these days…"
"Two down, twenty-two more newbies to go. Yeesh, this is taking a lot longer than I expected…" Brea facepalmed. "Oh well. Come on out, Misha Thomas!"
Misha, the rebellious looking girl from head-to-toe with pink neck-length hair that somehow stood out, entered the room with an angry expression on her face. She went behind the microphone, straightened up her black jacket and began to say something… quite unexpected.
"Hello! First of all, my intro sounded like someone calling out for their fucking dog." She hissed. Brea took note of it and had a slight frown on her face. "And second of all, the name's Misha. I'm 18, and I'm from the United Kingdom and one thing you can learn about me is that I've kicked a lot of asses before, and I'll be kicking a lot more here if they don't do the right shit."
Misha ended her speech with a proud smirk as she walked up to Rival and Vanessa.
Brea (Host): "Note to self: Be careful when choosing what to say. Someone could get really hurt. Not physically, mind you." Brea read the note in her journal out loud.
"Also, remember Faith from Act I? Man, those two potty mouths would really get along. No wonder why she got along with Vivianne so easily…" Brea rolled her eyes. "Oh wait, I don't think Vivianne's a potty mouth. Hmmm…"
"Welp, there goes number three. But hey, we still have number four! Please welcome, Colin Lanthored!"
Colin limped to the microphone. The judges looked at how… messy he was. From his curly black hair that was still over the place from his audition, his ragged clothes, to his mismatched pair of socks inside his black sandals which obviously have broken buckles. Yes, you heard it right. Socks under sandals.
He took a deep sigh, shaking unconfidently and began.
"Well, you all know. I'm Colin, just some random 16-year-old from Canada whom you shouldn't have picked… my fact is that… whatever, I'll probably lose this thing anyway…" he shrugged as he went to join the others in the back.
Vanessa eyed him once, suddenly, her eyes went wide.
Vanessa (Mezzo-Soprano): "Okay, so yes. He is kinda familiar to me. Last year in school, I remember that Colin was a freshman. Well, I was part of the seniors that time. An incident happened with him and the next thing you know, almost everyone in the school rejected him. I don't know what it was, since I was absent that time due to my piano recital. I asked my best friend Sarah about it, and she said she doesn't know too much about him and never gave a fuck, so yeah. Wasn't expecting him to be on this show out of all places." Vanessa told the camera as she combed her red hair with her fingers.
"Hey, I know you!" Vanessa called out as Colin made his way to the three.
"Him?" Misha raised an eyebrow. "From where?"
"No, I don't think you know me." Colin plainly shrugged. "No one does."
"Well I do." Vanessa looked at him. "And I do have a feeling you know me."
"Holy shit, I don't have a good feeling about this." Rival panicked a bit as he stepped back.
"So you're saying that we should just let them fucking be. Yeah, I'm with you on that." Misha rolled her eyes a bit as she stepped back as well.
To the bathroom.
Before any more drama could occur, the camera cuts back to the front of the room.
"Anyway, we have contestant number five! Here comes Therion Suarez!" Don took the introduction as another contestant joined in.
Therion entered the room, his long, black, surfer style hair being one of his stand-out features. He rubs his stubble a bit before going in front of the microphone.
"Hello, hehehe." Therion laughs sheepishly. "I'm Therion Suarez and I'm 18 years old. I'm also from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Well, I guess my fun fact is that I can speak in Spanish, English, Japanese, and French."
"So I can't swear in Spanish anymore? Dammit…" Enrique frowned and technically swore. In English.
Therion walked to the others, and was met with a huge grin from Rival.
"Brooooo! I missed ya!" Rival cheered and he and Therion did some… freaky handshake that they came up with after their reunion in Total Drama Wars.
"So how are things going?" Therion asked him.
"Pretty good. Some light tension happening between Vanessa and Colin. Plus Misha went to the bathroom as soon as she backed up. I don't know why, hehe." Rival gave an awkward laugh.
"Well, you do know why I am here, right?" Therion asked him.
"Oh yeah, that. Don't worry. Brea told me that the interns are coming in after the last contestant. Which means, once we have free time, we can surprise her." Rival grinned as he rubbed his hands.
"Okay. Wait, who's Brea?" Therion asked, unaware of the sudden stage name change but Rival seems to be aware of it.
"It's Candela. Brea and Candela are just the same person. Blaineley gave her that pet name." Rival shrugged.
"The fudge!?"
Rival (Bass): "Therion and I have been together for quite some time now." He realized what he said. "No, not like that! He's with Mara Garcia for goodness sake!"
He looked at the camera for a bit.
"Oh shit, I wasn't supposed to spill that now, was I?"
He ran out of the door.
...And then came back a few seconds later.
"Okay, never mind. Therion told me that I can spill it to the audience but not to the other members of the whole cast. Haha, that'd be way too wrong. SO! Therion, Mara, and I were contestants from Total Drama Wars, but those two have competed in Total Drama Fire, in which Mara won the entire season. Mara and I practically eliminated ourselves in Wars because of this Musically Powerful season, hehehe." he laughed at his weird pun. "They were happening at the same time, and well… Therion just kinda tagged along."
He checked his watch.
"Yeaaaaah, I think I've been in here for way too long now."
"OKAY! This time, we are going to introduce to you our sixth contestant!" Blaineley said. "There's still eighteen more to go… Sheesh. Hey, at least it's less than twenty but who cares! Make way for Sybil Van Tropé!"
Sybil entered the room, looking around with her heterochromic eyes. The French-Korean girl stood in front of the microphone stand and began her intro.
"Hello. So, my name is Sybil and I'm from… France but I was born in South Korea due to my incredibly picky mother. Anyway, I'm 18 years old and you probably know me from this television series called 'Dramatic High'. You know, that girl named Sabrina that got caught chatting with her boyfriend by her strict parents and all that cheesy shit? Oh wait, that's probably my fun fact. Oh well."
Brea then gestured to Sybil to go to the others and she did so. Once she arrived however, she was approached by Misha.
"Hey, I've seen that show, but I'm not really into one of those shitty, fucked up romances. My older sister Martha was a fan though. You were Sabrina in the series, right? Dang, I never thought you looked pretty in real life." Misha smirked as she eyed Sybil. From her long dark brown hair with rose gold tips to her white bell sleeved minidress, she wasn't kidding. "Did you even do the kissing scene with Aidan? I mean, the one who played as Aidan?"
"Um, why'd you ask?" Sybil tilted her head, noticeably uncomfortable with the question.
"Nah, just something out of the fucking blue." Misha shrugs and whistles it all off as she just casually walks away as if nothing happened.
Sybil (Alto): She looked around with an uneasy face.
"It was an underrated show. I honestly was expecting that no one really knows it, but for some reason, I'm just uncomfortable with that one scene. Plus the one in the Prom Scene. Ugh."
She shudders as she squeezes her eyes shut, unable to make contact with the camera in front of her.
Misha (Mezzo-Soprano): "Great, so I just failed at an attempt to make a friend with one of the people that Martha is a fan of. What the actual fuck."
Misha curses as she slumps on the chair.
"Okey-dokey, let's say we get on to contestant number seven because WE ARE NOT EVEN HALFWAY YET! WE STILL HAVE LIKE, SEVENTEEN MORE TO GO PLUS SIX VETERANS AND FIVE FUCKING INTERNS! PLUS, THE WORD COUNT IN THIS DOCUMENT IS ALREADY AT 3000 WORDS, WHAT MORE!? UGH!" Chris ranted and swore in front of the camera.
No one moved a millimeter.
"Say that again, McLean and you'll be cLeaning the toilets on Day 1." Said the director off-camera. "Or should I call you, McDirty Mouth!?"
"HAHAHAHAHA! HOLY SHIT, THAT WAS A GOOD ONE!" Rival laughed so hard, he wiped an invisible tear from his eye. Even the director was a bit try-hard with these puns… probably only Rival can understand that.
Colin (Tenor): "Everyone here's got some tricks up their sleeves." Colin sighed as he played with a hole in his ragged striped shirt. "Rival and Therion competed in other seasons so of course, they have experience with Total Drama. Vanessa is talented at piano. Misha looks like she could take charge. Sybil has beauty that can give her an advantage to almost anyone. And what do I have? Nothing. Absolutely nothing..."
"...I just hope Vanessa doesn't know what she's talking about. This could affect my whole game."
"Let's call on number seven now, shall we? Here's Adala Harris!" Don announced.
Adala walked as she took off the hoodie of her yellow crop top and looked at everyone from her gold rimmed glasses. She smiled at the judges and bowed in front.
"Hello! I'm Adala, and I'm a 19-year-old girl raised in Chicago, Illinois. And, my fact is that… I come from a competitive family. That's it."
For the first time, Holly smiled.
Holly (Judge): "Oh, I was waiting for this girl." She nodded in affirmation. "I love her determined appearance. She had that aura ever since her audition." She sat there quietly for a bit. "...She kinda reminds me of me when I was younger. Way back before everything I loved was swept away from me..."
Adala (Mezzo-Soprano): "I find the looks of Ms. Rosewood very intimidating. Since Audition Day. It's like she was staring daggers into my soul." Adala admitted to the camera. "But that's no biggie. I'm gonna keep moving forward whatever it takes!"
"Okay, let's speed this up, I want to get into the drama now!" Chris grumbled. "SO! Here comes contestant number eight! May we call on Gordon Parag!"
Gordon stepped forth into the room, with a monotone expression. He fixed the sleeves of his white dress shirt before taking the microphone.
"Yeah, whatever." He rubbed his forehead. "So, um… I'm Gordon, I'm 19 years of age and I'm from Milan, Italy, but I moved to Canada two years ago. My fact is I've competed in another season with her. But sadly, the season was cancelled so I joined here instead."
He pointed to Vanessa, whose expression was in pure shock.
Vanessa (Mezzo-Soprano): She scratches her head.
"MAN, there are a lot of familiar people in here… well technically, only Colin and Gordon so far… who knows. Anyway, I met Gordon in another season. It's called Total Drama Archipelago, and yeah, we do get along pretty well, maybe because he's kinda like me in different ways. We can play instruments, we can be quite sarcastic. But I'm also wondering how on earth he auditioned. I mean, everyone here practically sang for their audition and I honestly didn't think he could sing." She cooled down a bit. "However, I'm gonna stop being surprised if any more familiar people come in…"
Gordon (Mezzo-Tenor): "Yup, I do know Vanessa. I may even consider her as a close friend, maybe even someone… special to me. Unlike those shitty teens at the orphanage back in Milan. I don't wanna go there ever again."
He crossed his arms, reminiscing every single teen he lived with in the orphanage.
As Gordon exited, contestant number nine, without cue. He just practically sashayed in the room and landed on a successful plié right behind the microphone stand.
"It's not even your cue yet, Lyle Ray." Blaineley sneered as she technically introduced him with a comment. Very normal for her, so to speak.
"Very sorry, madame Blaineley. I just flourished that move yesterday…" Lyle apologized sheepishly. "I think I haven't realized that I was wearing white sneakers instead of ballet slippers when performing that plié. My apologies once again."
He calmed a bit as he went on his intro.
"I'm Lyle Ray, 17 years old from New York City and my fact is that I have a dream of reaching the world's biggest and most beautiful stages to perform my talents!" His eyes glimmered as he mentioned his dream but shifted quickly to guilt. "And I should apologize again for-"
Holly didn't seem to be too fond of his constant apologizing in the judges. She gave a rather disappointing look of disapproval. Lyle quickly noticed this and gulped as he went to the back along with the other contestants.
"O...kay. I lost track!" Brea shouted. "Are we in contestant number ten?"
"Yup, pretty much." Don nodded. "So, let's introduce contestant number ten! Please welcome, Pierre McLowery!"
Sybil in the back gasped loudly.
"Pierre!?"
"Yeah. Why?" Adala looked at the actress next to her as she went red. "Ah. Backstories, I see."
Adala (Mezzo-Soprano): "Look." She stares straight into the camera. "I'm not really the judgemental type, but judging Sybil's reaction, I think this Pierre guy's gonna be bad news. Worst part is, we don't even know what he looks like… yet."
"Quick! Hide me!" Sybil whispered frantically. Adala raised an eyebrow at her first before proceeding to hide Sybil.
"The hell's your deal?" Adala asked as she hid her.
Right on time, Pierre came in. He looked fairly attractive and his outfit practically screamed 'boyfriend material', in blue jeans and a baby blue polo that was unbuttoned, revealing his white shirt inside.
"Oh… so this is the guy you were hyperventilating abo-"
"Shh! Shut up, Adala! You don't want him to think that you're talking to the ground now, do you?" Sybil hissed.
Adala scratched her head in frustration.
Pierre approached the microphone, flattening his dark brown hair to the side and finally started talking.
"Hey, so… my name's Pierre McLowery and I'm 19 years old from Alaska. My fact is that… um…"
"What, don't tell me you never thought of a fact the minute you came in here!" Chris snapped.
"Uhh…" Pierre scratched his head, unable to think of a presentable fact about him.
"How many exes do you have?" Blaineley suddenly inquired.
"Um… f-five." He stammered.
"And it says in your application that you came here just so you could follow someone…" the hostess snickered as Brea elbowed her.
"Yes, yes. Okay, I get it. I'm not really here for the money. I'm just here because I want to do something that's… none of your business! I don't even know if she's here…" Pierre revealed as he looked over the room for that someone.
Brea (Host): Brea looks at the camera angrily.
"Look, it's only day fucking one today, and Blaineley thinks that she knows eveything! Dude, does she even have the right to give me this name? Well, it's fine. But I'm not gonna be surprised if she even gave the others a pet name. Plus, I think she's invading the contestants' privacy on day one. Chris didn't even do that last season."
She rolled her eyes.
"But who cares. She's probably just being Blaineley."
"So… finally we reached number eleven! Geez! Okay, may we call on Arabelle Meerer!"
This next contestant didn't look so… approachable. Just by looking at her choices of clothing (which was a black bustier, red short shorts, black combat boots [which looked a lot like Misha's] and black gloves with a fire design on it.) she looked like some rebel that jumped outta nowhere.
"He-"
"Hello, Total Drama." Arabelle flashed a mischievous smirk before Chef could even speak about… whatever that was. "Name's Arabelle Meerer, 17, from Orlando, Florida. And my fact is that I'm gonna be the winner of this show. Mark my words." She shot everyone a death glare as she walked out and on to the back.
Lyle (Tenor): Lyle shakes his head, obviously disapproving Arabelle's actions.
"Shame on her. She won't probably be getting any allies soon and probably is guaranteed a spot at the losers, no?"
"Up next! We have… uh…" Chef stammered as he rummaged through a packet of papers. "Who's next?"
"Number twelve." Don answered. "Zackary Sanchez. You don't have a copy of the script?"
"No." Chef shook his head as the door busted out open and in came a really tall guy.
"Hey, I think there's someone having a seizure outside. Might wanna come look because I don't think he looks oka- ...hi." Zack greeted sheepishly as he entered the wrong room at the right time. "Oh, sorry, I thought this was the medic room. I can leave now if you wa-"
"No, no. You're practically just on time, young man." Leticia smiled, which calmed the brown haired boy down a bit.
"Okay. Um...hey. I'm Zackary, but I just go by Zack because Zackary's too long hehe. Anyway, I'm 18 years old, from L.A. and a thing about me is that I have acted in several local plays so I thought "Why not join Musical Power?" and boom! Not regretting any decision made here, hehe. Plus I think I would get along with everyone, maybe not everyone but probably most because who knows what's gonna happen in the other chapte-"
"Okay, we've heard enough! Thank you! Next!" Holly shouted which sounded like a certain line from a certain song.. Zack scurried to the back as the hosts were trying so hard to hold their laughter.
Chris, Chef, Don, Blaineley, Brea (Hosts): All five of them were sitting on the couch, laughing their asses off.
"I never expected Ms. Rosewood to be an Ariana Grande fan! HAHAHAHAHA!" Brea laughed.
"I thought she was a fan of more older singers but nope! Sorry to be so judgemental!" Don laughed hard as well as he wiped a visible tear from his eye.
"THANK U, NEXT!" They all sang. "THANK U, NEXT! I'M SO FUCKING GRATEFUL FOR MY EX!"
The laughter abruptly died as Blaineley gave a death glare.
"What, it hit ya, hon?" Chris raised an eyebrow.
"DO NOT CALL ME HON YOU SADISTIC BUFFOON!" Blaineley stood and shouted in front of Chris's face.
"Oh, so you can give us nicknames but we can't? How fantastic." Brea remarked sarcastically as Blaineley also gave her a death glare but Brea remained her sarcastic face. "Tsk tsk tsk tsk. Like I'd ever drop a nickname right in front of that pretty face of yours, Mildred."
Blaineley gave up and left the confessional with a huge slam on the door.
"..."
"...So she's suspended?" Chef suddenly asked as the other three looked at the door with shocked faces (Chris and Don) and huge evil smirks (Brea).
"...Anyway, let's keep the show going on, shall we? We're onto contestant number thirteen! Please welcome… May Gale!" Don said but Brea widened her eyes.
"May!?" Brea shouted. "She's not even a veteran! Besides, she did horrible in Act I, finishing in 17th place!"
"Relax, Brea. This is May Gale. Not May Quetzal, for Musimental's sake. Besides, why'd you have Oli in the veterans list when he finished 18th? Last?" Don asked back.
"...whatever."
As Don and Brea were bickering, they didn't notice that a small petite girl was already standing in front of the microphone stand, trembling in her pink sneakers.
"Uhh…. Hi!" She waved as she tried to muster as much enthusiasm as she could. "I'm May Gale, uh… 15 years old from New York City! Yeah… cool place… so… um… I grew up watching my parents on Broadway and I wanted to follow their footsteps so much, so I think I've joined the right place to get started…"
"You certainly did, sweetheart." Leticia smiled as she gave a small thumbs-up. "Go ahead and join our fellow contestants in the back."
"Um… I will! Thank you!" May did a small curtsy before heading to the others.
As she headed on to the back, she was greeted by a wave from Lyle.
"My my my, do we have the same dreams of performing on the big stages. I'm Lyle." The ballerino extended his hand and May gladly shook it.
"My name is May! So um, what brings you here?" May asked.
"I've always wanted to showcase my talents by performing in stages! So of course, I couldn't let this wonderful opportunity slide by my fingers!" Lyle sighed happily.
"Oh wow! That's-"
"Awesome. We got a lil' wee bean that we have to take out." Arabelle scoffed as she walked towards the two. "What's your name, teeny tiny?"
"Why, don't we just have a cocky little fishstick who thinks she's the baddest girl alive." Lyle sneered as he eyed Arabelle from head to toe. "I'll be delighted if you'd just tally-ho your way out of this conversation. You shouldn't tease people who are… not as tall as you!" He snapped at Arabelle, at the same time, trying to not offend May as to being the smallest competitor so far.
"Well, I should not judge people too easily, Mr. Ballerino." Arabelle snapped.
"Yeah, Arabelle. Not cool." Zack approached them as he dusted off his green plaid shirt. "Plus, that's not a way to greet a newly arrived contestant."
"Oh yay. Drama. Yee-haw." Gordon sarcastically muttered but was met by a glare from Arabelle. "Whoa whoa whoa. I'm not tryna get into your business! I've got some business on my own hands too, you know!"
Arabelle then walks away from them; but says something directly to Lyle.
"Oh, just so you know, ballet is a girl's thing."
Lyle fumed. "It is not! There are males who take ballet lessons too, you know!"
Chris was smirking from the other side, seeing how much drama's starting to happen.
"Chris?"
…
"Chris!"
…
"CHRIS!"
…
"EARTH TO CHRIS MCLEAN!"
"Oh, sorry. Hmm?" Chris turned his head to poor Don, who had been trying to get his attention.
"You can watch that drama later! We still have a lot more contestants to introduce!" He yelled. "Speaking of introducing, here comes contestant number fourteen, Carter Kane!"
A boy with buzzed, blonde hair walked to the microphone stand in his black boots.
"Hello. My name is Carter, 19 years old from Chicago, and I have a fact about myself and that is that I will be flying solo. I will always be flying solo. Trusting people is not the right strategy to win this game. Hell, even some people win by going by themselves." Carter crossed his arms.
Brea (Host): Brea smirks a bit at the camera.
"I can really relate to this Carter kid. You see, back when I was in school last year, we had a diorama making project. As a group leader, I picked on those who I trust and will help me the most. But in the end, it all turned out that I was the one who did everything. Even my best friend Pam didn't even bother to ask me about the project. So yeah, in the end, I didn't give a fuck about either of them. Karma's got them like a stingy bitch, fucking de quatro."
She clutched her fists in the end.
Carter (Bass): He stares at the camera, dejected.
"Look, I'm not some insane person who thinks that trust doesn't make a person. There are reasons and that is basically the truth."
He sighs depressively.
"Well… all of this started with my family… and I will never say another thing about them."
The camera points to Chef who blinked once, then twice, and rubbed his eyes.
"A'ight, let's get into contestant number fifteen you maggots! I say we'll welcome Nash Bobby Kent Jr.!"
Nash entered the room. This person caught the eye of some people, considering his cowboy get-up. Let's say, flannel shirts, cowboy boots, and most of all, a cowboy hat that looks like he isn't going to take it off any time soon.
"Howdy partners! The name's Nash and I'm 18, coming all the way from Luckenbach, Texas!" The cowboy grinned goofily. "Now, about me, I've been born and raised as a cowboy for darn toothin'."
Lee (Judge): He fumbles with his fingers as he stares at the camera.
"So… ahem… I've… never been a fan of cowboys like this Nash kid. Well, not really an anti-fan, I'm just… afraid of them."
He shuddered a bit and ran out of the confessional.
The camera cuts to Lee shuddering in his seat as Blaineley took the wheel for the hosts.
"SO ANYWAY!" Blaineley fumed and the expression suddenly changed to a… creepy one. "We will move on to contestant number sweet sixteen! Well, this is, she's not really sweet, it's Miranda Lawrence!"
"Hey." Miranda waved to everyone, without pretty much an expression on her face as she tucked in a long strand of brown (which was dyed turquoise towards the ends) hair under her ear. "It's much better if you guys just call me Mag though. My age and hometown are… pretty much a secret. Can't tell ya." She crossed her arms over her black-silver off-shoulder top. "And a fact that I'll probably spit out is that my nickname is made out of my initials."
"Wait… so Lawrence isn't your-"
"Yup." Mag nodded as she cut off Nash. The cowboy just sat on the floor.
"Well… yee to the haw, partner." He sighed as Mag arrived to them.
"I see how clever your nickname is, Mag." Carter commented whilst leaning on the wall.
"And what makes you say that?" Mag questioned him, prepared for anything that Carter will say to her.
"Well… let's just say that…" Carter stood away from the wall and faced Mag. "My mother and your father have a lot of explanation to do."
"What are you talking about?" Mag snarked. "I'm here to play Total Drama. Not getting caught up in your tricks. Listen, whatever your name is."
"Carter." He deadpanned.
"Well, Carter, it's day one. Give yourself some space." She scowled as she walked away from him. "Oh, and nice to meet you."
"Whatever you say." Carter scoffed.
Mag (Alto): "I'm not buying anything that Carter is saying. He could probably be mistaken by someone else that is not me." Mag shook her head in front of the camera.
"Welp. I don't know how to react to that." Brea shrugged. "We'll just move on to contestant number seventeen!" The 17-year-old hostess grinned. "Please welcome to the show, Toxa Pexine!"
Toxa entered the room, her long, indigo-blue hair flowing behind her. For the third time in this season, we have another rebellious-looking girl, but who knows, she'll have a different intention.
"Hey there. I'm Toxa, 18 years old, from Toronto, Canada. And I have one thing to tell you all: No one. Messes. With Toxa. Kapeesh?"
"Is that a fact, or-?"
"Can someone shut that Chinese limbo up? That'd be great. Thanks." Toxa sneered at Lee. Holly smacked his leg in return.
"Ow!" Lee yelped in pain as he rubbed his leg.
Lee (Judge): He is in the confessional booth, still rubbing his leg in pain.
"Fuck her!" He swore under his breath.
…
"No, I was talking about Toxa! Not Madame Holly. She'd probably kill me if she thought that I was cursing about her.
"So… we're gonna have to cut it here." Brea told the other hosts.
"Uh, why?" Don asked. "Is there a program coming up next?"
"Yeah, the news."
"Lemme guess: coronavirus?" Chris guessed.
And boy he was not wrong. And with that, Blaineley went on with the outro.
"I guess we'll see the rest of the cast of-"
"TOTAL!"
"DRAMA!"
"ACT II!"
"MUSICAL POWER!" The cast shouts as the screen fades to black.
Day 1: Musimental Theater Dance Practice Room, 12:00PM - Part 2 Transition
The camera cuts to a door as it walks all the way on the edge of the hallway, and into another door where we can see… Chris tapping his foot impatiently, Brea and Blaineley glaring at each other for who knows how long, Don drinking some juice from a glass he just got from the theatre's cafeteria, and Chef being Chef.
"Okay, why did we cut the taping?" Chris asked as the camera pans to him. "And when are the judges and contestants coming back from their lunch break?"
"So people will think that the news is next, duh old man." Blaineley rolled her eyes, annoyed by Chris's antics. "When is this show airing anyway?"
"Well, according to the directors," Brea began as she straightened her blouse. "They're expecting to air it either December 2020 which is by the end of this year, or January 2021, the beginning of the next year."
"You just said all that because you wanted to make the word count long, didn't you?" Blaineley crossed her arms and furrowed her eyebrows.
"Maaaaaaaaaaybeeeeeeeee." Brea chuckled menacingly.
Don on the other hand, spat all the juice he was drinking.
"That long?! What is this, Walking Dead?" He shrieked, wiping the juice off his mouth. "It's like, April Fools Day today! They're probably fooling us with this kind of shit."
"Ew, you drink like a baby. Get out of my sight." Chef shooed him off.
"Says the sloppy cook who eats motherfuckers for breakfast." Don snickered as he exits the practice room and heads for the bathroom.
"Okay, what in the actual hell did he just call me?" Chef fumed but was then interrupted when the doors opened and in came the hosts.
As expected, Holly entered the room with her arms folded. Enrique and Evan were chatting about who-knows-what. Leticia came in, smiling from ear to ear (jeez, she is too cheerful), and Lee came in last, shuddering about the thought of cowboys lassoing.
"Silence!"
The four hosts stopped their bickering and turned their attention to Holly, who looked as if she was about to burn someone alive.
Don came in after a minute of awkward silence, sashaying himself between the judges with a smug look.
"What did I miss?"
"Oh, you missed a lot you rating-stealer." Chris gritted his teeth.
"HOSTS!" Evan shouted. "Fighting isn't getting us anywhere!"
Dead silence filled the room once again as everyone practically stared at each other.
"So, anyway!" Brea courageously ended the silence by starting off the intro, earning a death glare from Holly but just merely shrugging it off. "We'll start on with the second part of Episode 1! Welcome back one and all to Total!"
"Drama!" The hosts shouted.
"Act II!" The judges, (excluding Holly for she still has that glare on her face) followed suit.
"MUSICAL IMPACT!" Chef shouted like an idiot.
"Dear lord, it's MUSICAL POWER!" Chris facepalmed.
"ANYWHO!" Blaineley stepped in. "Let's have our current contestants!"
The seventeen contestants from last time came in and bowed. Leticia then gestured to them to wait in the back of the room like last time.
"So, we're moving on to contestant number eighteen! Introducing, Ryder Walker!" Chef announced as a skinny boy went in. He took off the hood of his grey-orange checkered hoodie, revealing his short black hair.
"Um, hi. I'm Ryder, 16, from San Francisco. Yeah. And I… well, I guess I should say that my family is always after fame? I don't know." He shrugs. "But, I'm not here for fame. I'm here just for fun, so yeah. Nice to be here."
He nods slowly as he was then motioned to go with the others.
The judges on the other hand eyed him.
Evan (Judge): He rubs his chin in thought. "I feel as though I've seen him before…"
He then snapped his fingers.
"Ah! My son Devin used to watch his YouTube videos… I don't know what this boy does in his videos but my son loves him! Oh, if only he were still here…"
"I see… well! Next, we have contestant number nineteen coming! Please welcome, Antoinette Mirasol!"
A girl, quite tall for her age entered, her blue sandals strutting. She flipped her dark blue hair, looked around the room with her matching eyes. With her outfit (a white spaghetti strap tank top that exposes a part of her abdomen, and a blue skirt with a black belt attached to it), she gave rather a… vibe that was a bit all over the place.
Some of the boys, (with the exception of Colin and Carter who are too busy thinking about who-knows-what) even caught her attention.
"Hey there, lovely folks of Total Drama!" She greeted in a sassy manner, almost diva-ish(?). "I'm Antoinette and I'm 15 years old from New Zealand! My fact? No one can resist my beauty."
Leticia and Holly squinted their eyes shut.
Leticia (Judge): "Hehe, I'm sorry sweetie, but she doesn't act like her age."
Holly (Judge): "She looks like a slut that has one night stands every night." Holly retorted harshly, and broke into a chuckle. "Get it? Because one night stands happen during nights?" No one moved an inch. "Oh well. But still."
May (Mezzo-Soprano): She has her arms wrapped around her legs. "I-it's hard to believe that she's my age. She just looks so… mature."
Pierre (Mezzo-Tenor): "Yes, she looks hella hot, but she's not the one I'm looking for." He noticed the camera. "Wait, do I sound like a stalker?" He puts his hands on his face. "Oh no…"
"Um. Yeah, someone better run before she hits hard." Brea cleared her throat. "Ahem… now, moving one to contestant numero twentynero. Jeez, that sounds like shit. Anyways, it's Beatrice Eddlestein!"
A girl with short, puffy pink hair wearing a leaf-print dress enters the dance practice room, grinning.
Clearing her throat and looking around everyone who was watching, she finally took a deep breath. "Hi everyone! My name's Beatrice, but you guys can call me Reese! I'm 17 years old, moved from Canada to America with my twin siblings, and something about me is, believe it or not, I can see bits of the future."
Adala (Mezzo-Soprano): She coughs a bit towards the camera. "Why am I not surprised."
Arabelle (Alto): "Well, looks like your future's over, Miss Fortune Teller. If you could tell me the outcome of this season whether I win or not, that would be lovely." She chuckles sarcastically.
"Well, you can see bits into the future, huh?" Antoinette smirked as Beatrice approached the gang in the back.
"Key word: bits. And I know that you know what that is." Beatrice gave a small smirk to the diva. "Besides, from what I see here…" she places a couple of fingers on the side of her forehead. "...you'll be out before the merge, whether you like it or not."
"Argh, we'll see about that!" Antoinette crossed her arms. "I'm not here to play future tense, girly. And if that's what you're gonna do all season, might as well buckle up your boots and hightail it."
Ryder, overhearing every single thing, took a step back and gulped slightly. "I am not gonna be involved in that garbage."
Beatrice (Soprano): "Yeeeeeaaaaah… might've not made the very best first impression, but I'm sure things will go smoothly, right?" She then chuckles nervously. "...Right? Well, um, don't worry Diane and Cassius, I'll try and find a way to… figure this out somehow. Hehe."
Ryder (Bass): "I swear, this Antoinette girl needs to see what her funeral would look like. And hell, it would be way uglier than her."
…
"Yeah, they can fight all they want, but I want to get these introductions done sooner or faster!" Chris whined and grabbed a chair out of nowhere and sat in it. "So! Where were we?"
The hosts just looked at him with mixed expressions.
"Never mind him. Anyway, let's move on to contestant number twenty-one." Blaineley chuckled but no one laughed after her. "Ah, who cares. It's Samantha Gardner!"
A girl with straight, red velvet hair and a t-shirt with a Disney logo in it skips happily to the front. She waves at everyone and squeals before speaking into her mic.
"Hello, producers, directors, and everyone who works for Total Drama! I'm Sami, a 17 year old from Florida! And I've been a huge fan of Act I so I've made this decision to join in Act II! But I promise you, I'm nowhere near the level of Sierra!" She squeals a bit before exiting the front.
May (Mezzo-Soprano): She squeals in excitement as well. "Ooh! She might know some Broadway! I hope she'll join me and Lyle. We could be great friends!"
Zack (Tenor): He shook his head in disapproval. "I don't think she knows that this season isn't full of happiness and rainbows. We all know what happened in Act I, right?. The fire that went off in this very theatre, the sinking cruise ship, the accident with Vivianne, May, and Meredith that can have either of them dead, and Sal as a character? I don't think this will be any… different. So are we sure that she really knows about Act I?"
"We're finally down to the last three newbies for this season!" Chef cheered. "Key word: finally. Okay, so moving on to contestant number twenty-two, here comes Janice Marlick!"
A skinny girl with black hair that was dyed violet towards the tips wearing a black sweater and jean shorts walked carefully to the microphone, whilst hiding a maroon diary behind her back.
"Hello there, my name's Janice and I'm 17 years old from Singapore. Uh, I guess I would say that my fact is…" she pauses for a bit before thinking what to say. "...that... I don't have the nicest relationship with my family I guess." She shrugged before looking at the judges one by one, before making awkward eye contact with one of them.
Lee (Judge): "Okay, so I don't really like this batch of contestants. I mean, sure there's this cowboy that would scare me for life and there's this girl that…'' he sighs for a bit. "...Is it wrong for a judge to fall-"
There was a knock on the door.
"You alright? You keep coming into the confessional room lately!" Enrique's voice can be heard from the other side of the door.
"...did he hear anything? Oh please tell me he didn't!" Then he shouted, "At least this isn't the bathroom!"
Pierre (Mezzo-Tenor): "Yup, she's the one indeed. The pretty girl from Midcreek Academy. I really do sound like a stalker now, do I?"
"Okay, you judgemental maggots! It's time to get onto contestant number twenty-three! We have Alexander Knight!" Chef announced as he made a jazz-movement with his hands.
"Hey, don't steal my jazzy-hand movement, you lousy barnacle!" Chris shouted, coming up with a random insult that Brea did in the previous season, when she was still Candela of course.
A tall boy with long, shaggy blonde hair enters the room. He wore a "I'm number 1" shirt, in which Misha rolled her eyes and mouthed a "We'll see about that." kind of remark.
"Hello, Act II! The name's Alec! And, I just turned 16 years old before the audition! And also, I'm from Ottawa! My fact is that… I'm an only child! Hehe…" Alec rubbed the back of his head at his attempt to come up with a good fact.
Rival (Bass): "That's… probably something I would do. If I don't know how to make puns! Like, I hope Alec will get a good knight." He then gagged at how awful the pun was. "That didn't go so good."
"And we saved the, well… not the best but not the worst either… for last!" Blaineley cackled (which sounds more like a terrible laugh). "It's ELV!"
A tall, emotionless boy in a nero outfit came into the room with a practically emotionless expression. He stares at the microphone before speaking up.
"I'm ELV. No need to know my full name." ELV says as he plainly crosses his arms. "17 years old, from Colorado. And father! If you see this, I hope you enjoy your crack in hell!"
He yells with a hint of vengeance in his voice, scaring some of the people in the room, including Holly.
Holly (Judge): "Who let a psycho in here!?" She shouted.
Carter (Bass): "Well, I guess I know who I am voting for. This guy shouldn't be trusted. And that's automatic." He chuckled a bit for the first time. "I mean, just look at him."
Vanessa (Mezzo-Soprano): "Um… is that his fact?"
"Um… hooray we got all twenty-four newbies. Ahem." Don cheered (not really) in a monotone voice. "So! Now that that's down the road, let's welcome our veterans!"
Colin (Tenor): "Well, here comes the real deal. The ones who are better in this season. Might as well pack everything I have and leave."
Six familiar contestants entered the room.
One was a boy with dark skin and messy red hair. This was obviously Oli Greene.
The other was a girl wearing a yellow sweater and black jeans. This was Kimmie Hobbs.
The third veteran was a tall girl with her blue hair tied into a high ponytail. This was Arreis Smith.
The fourth veteran was a boy with dark brown hair and eyes, with lots of freckles in his cheeks. This one was Robert Reeves.
The fifth veteran was a boy that had hazel eyes, black hair, and wore a shirt with the word 'Savage' in it. This was Gabe Johnson.
The last veteran was a preppy girl with ash blonde hair. This was Mairead Kavanagh.
Arreis (Veteran/Alto): "I'm honestly not gonna be surprised if I were to be eliminated again just because I did something that was right. Stupid McLean…"
Gabe (Veteran/Bass): "This is gonna be fun. Being eliminated with Robert because of some randomizer was pointless. I hope to make it far this time."
Kimmie (Veteran/Soprano): "Well, I'm excited! Plus Robert's here, wonder if I could get him to like me now?" She sighs dreamily. "Too bad I can't tell my secrets to Meredith…"
Mairead (Veteran/Mezzo-Soprano): "Though I'm really sad that Xavier's not here, I still think that this would be a better season. Hey, at least there's no Sal to deal with."
Oli (Veteran/Tenor): He laughs a bit. "Look, I don't think I should even be considered a veteran, considering I was booted first. But hey, try and try again, right?"
Robert (Veteran/Mezzo-Tenor): "I'm starting to miss Evander, though I'm grateful to have Gabe by my side still. We even stuck together since we got eliminated at the same time. Good times… not so much."
"And we have four more people to introduce! Three of them return from Act I! We have Maya, Mara, and Dustin!"
The three interns from last season entered. In case you didn't know, Maya was a dark skinned female and she wore a white shirt, black pants, and had her puffy black hair in a braid. Mara on the other hand was a short, Spanish girl who wore a yellow-white striped tank top and a blue skirt. Dustin, standing next to Maya, was a tall guy with a green soccer shirt (that had a leopards logo in it). He also had black hair that was combed neatly.
They all waved and stood directly off to the side. In the back, the camera pans to Rival, who elbows Therion as he was caught off-guard.
"And our new intern, Ulysses!" Chris announced.
A buffy, black American guy entered. He wore a shirt that said "Diabolicals" in it, indicating that he is part of a gang.
"Yo!" He waved. "The name's-"
"Yeah, yeah. You're not that important, you're just an intern. Now go stand with the other interns before I flip a pancake on your flat forehead." Blaineley retorted as Ulysses flashed her a glare before doing so.
"Cast picture!" Chef called out as everyone walked to the front. "Big guys on the back! Small maggots in the front! Judges, hosts, and interns, just… go off to the side or something!"
Everyone gathered up and stood to where they were designated to. One of the cameramen (and no, it's not Edward McGreen, he's not coming back anytime soon lmao) signaled them about three seconds until the picture was taken.
Brea stepped to the front of the room. "And there we have it! Our five hosts! Our five judges! Our four interns! Our six veterans! Our twenty-four newbies! Our thirty contestants! But only one of the thirty competitors will be crowned the champion of…"
"TOTAL!"
"DRAMA!"
"ACT II!"
"MUSICAL POWER!"
Everyone shouted the title as the screen fades to the theme song.
*Opening Theme #1*
Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine
The camera zooms into the dance practice room where Lyle was practicing his ballet. May and Sami were watching him and applauded as he landed on his plié successfully, while Arabelle on the other hand, watched with disgust.
You're always on my mind
The camera leaves the room and heads to the auditorium where we can see Beatrice masterfully playing the piano until Antoinette sits on the keys smirking, causing several off-key notes being played. Ryder sees this and pushes Antoinette off the piano, causing her to land face first to the floor and Ryder and Beatrice high-fived.
You asked me what I wanted to be
The camera zooms under the high-five and next thing we see is that we are in the bedroom of one of the teams' houses, where Janice was writing in her diary. Toxa was standing right behind her, rubbing her hands as if she had a plan. Toxa then turns back, only to find Misha crossing her arms. On the window however, we can see Pierre trying to get a peek of the girls.
And now I think the answer is plain to see
The camera warps to the other house's living room, where we can see Rival and Therion doing their handshake. Mara is then seen in the window waving at them causing Therion to blush but then scowls when he sees Mara taken away by Ulysses. Both boys however, ignored Alec, who served them a plate of cookies, with a shocked expression on his face.
I wanna be famous
The camera zooms into the cookies and warps to the backstage where we can see Carter and Mag arguing, with Nash trying to break them up, by throwing his lasso at them. Lee on the other hand, freaks out as he sees this, and runs away from them instead of telling them something important.
I wanna live close to the sun
We then get a view of the storage room, where Gordon and Vanessa were looking for something. Colin opens the door, scaring the two, but leaves after that with a downed expression.
Go pack your bags, I've already gone far
The camera then warps again to the dressing room, where we see Adala and Zack comforting Sybil, who looked as if she were crying. It then pans onto ELV on the other side of the room, who happens to pass by and (unintentionally) begins to eavesdrop.
Everything to prove, what can you say?
We now go to the cafeteria where we can see Holly, Evan, and Leticia chatting. Arreis and Kimmie have plates of food in their hand but Kimmie accidentally drops the food on Holly, making her mad. Mairead was on the other table, laughing, while Gabe didn't look too pleased.
I'll be there one day
The camera quickly zooms into a small library where Dustin, Oli, and Robert were playing cards. However Maya comes in and slams the table, causing all cards to fall off, getting glares from the three boys.
'Cause I wanna be famous
The scene then swaps to a camera room, where we can see Brea, Blaineley, Chris, and Chef arguing. Don then arrives and stops everyone but is stopped when Enrique starts scolding them.
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na!
The scene switches to the office room where we can see Chris holding a bunch of papers, then leaves his office with a note that says "NO TRESPASSING" in big red letters.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The first "I wanna be" shows the Sopranos (Janice, Sami, Toxa, Beatrice, Kimmie) against the Tenors (Alec, Colin, Zack, Lyle, Oli). The second "I wanna be" shows the Mezzo-Sopranos (Vanessa, Misha, Adala, May, Mairead) and the Mezzo-Tenors (Gordon, Pierre, Therion, Nash, Robert) shaking hands. The "I wanna be famous" shows the Altos (Arabelle, Antoinette, Mag, Sybil, Arreis) and Basses (Rival, Ryder, Carter, ELV, Gabe) sharing a group hug.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The fourth "I wanna be" shows the four interns standing there with mixed expressions. The fifth "I wanna be" shows the five judges with different reactions from different performances. In the second "I wanna be famous" shows the five hosts crossing their arms with smirks on their faces.
*whistling in tune*
The whole cast can now be seen on the stage, bowing as the audience applauds them loudly. Flowers were being thrown to the stage as the curtain closed, revealing the season's title, "Total Drama Act II: Musical Power" in gold letters. The episode title, "Episode 1: Rising Up the Red Curtains!" can be seen written below, in silver letters.
*End opening theme*
"Now that that's locked out of the picture," Chef commented. "Literally…" he chuckled. "Prepare to hear your team arrangement!"
"These will be based off from the auditions when you guys first got here." Blaineley explained. (Now these will be revealed once the character is eliminated lol don't worry.) "Please pay attention if I call your name!"
The teens all stood still, prepared to hear about whatever names will Blaineley mention.
"Janice, Vanessa, Arabelle, Lyle, Gordon, ELV, Mairead, and Oli! Please head over the left side of the room!" Blaineley pointed.
They all proceeded to the left side as told.
"Toxa, Misha, Mag, Alec, Therion, Rival, Kimmie, and Robert! Head on over to the right side of the room!" Brea instructed as the next batch of teens did so.
"You guys will make up the Minor Team! However! That doesn't mean you'll work together!" Chris threw a fit at them. "Those who are on the right side will be Minor A while those on the left side will be Minor B."
The sixteen teens mentioned all have different expressions.
Alec (Minor A): "Let it be Minor, let it be Major, as least I'm in the game. Frankly, I was honestly expecting to get rejected in the first place. You see, I auditioned for Musical Impact two years ago, when auditions began. Well, I got rejected and tried again. And look who's here now."
Arabelle (Minor B): "Well, that does it! I'm not gonna be stopping into some lousy Minor team doing who knows what! I'll show everyone that I can go to Major in no time. You'll see. Everyone will see!"
ELV (Minor B): "Minor?" He scoffs. "We'll see about that. I'll be out of this blasted team before any vet comes after me!"
Gordon (Minor B): He sighs. "Yaaaay. Minor team. Whoooooo…. Hey, at least there's Vanessa. I should probably catch up with her and see how things are going with her and Sarah. And maybe get some information about this Colin dude…"
Janice (Minor B): "I don't know… I kinda expect this to happen… going to the Minor team… maybe I should've auditioned by dancing and not singing. Oh, I knew it! My singing is still horrible! Ever since that mistake happened! Ugh!"
Kimmie (Minor A): "Oh, here we go again. Too bad Robert's in the other Minor team, but hey at least some of the others here seem nice… like Alec and Mag, they seem pretty okay. I'm probably glad that Arabelle's in the other team because who knows what kind of trouble she'll get us into."
Lyle (Minor B): He scoffs a bit, then laughs. "Are you kidding me? Minor? Pfft! How disappointing. I obviously know that I can do better than that. If the judges think that my audition performance wasn't enough as I thought it would be then… that is their problem. Especially that old woman."
Mag (Minor A): "Well, at least that's good riddance to Carter. For now. Hey, at least some of these guys are pretty chill except for that Arabelle chick. And maybe Toxa. Maybe we could all work on something out. Who knows. Too bad Nash isn't here though, he's pretty chill too. Nice to have some fresh faces with fresh personalities. Not unlike Carter…"
Mairead (Minor B): "Well, can't say that I'm excited for another season, at least I'm with Oli. I'd like to get to know him better after all what happened back in Act I. Trust me, I do not want to see someone like Sal ever again for goodness sake."
Misha (Minor A): She looks at the camera with a skeptical look. "So, I tried my best and this is what I get? Well, shoo that off, but I can't believe that Mairead is in the Minor team as well. She's my favorite contestant from last season. Mag and Rival seem to be good too, maybe Alec and Therion. But Toxa… she's not gonna be good news."
Oli (Minor B): "I won't be too surprised if they based this on our placements from last season. I mean, Kimmie, Robert and I didn't merge and… oh wait… Mairead's with us. What is she doing here then, hehehe."
Rival (Minor A): He frowns at the camera and starts whistling a random Bruno Mars song. "Okay, anyway… on the bright side, Misha and Therion are on the same team as me! And well, hey! There's Mara to support Therion! Hopefully me too, she's a great friend. But I still couldn't forget about that grenade that she threw during our fight with Adrian though…"
Robert (Minor A): "Okay, this is swell. Being in the Minor team. But hey, we as veterans didn't audition so I guess it's fine…? I mean, honestly I was shocked when the hosts told me to compete again so… here I am."
Therion (Minor A): The camera shows Therion slightly frowning. "Really? I was expecting better, but eh whatever… at least Rival's in Minor A too. Maybe the Minor team won't be so bad after all… I gotta go check up on Mara soon, would she even be delighted to see me?"
Toxa (Minor A): Toxa stared at the camera for a good ten seconds before exploding her steam off like a time bomb. "THIS IS SHIT! I'VE PREPARED A REALLY DIFFICULT AUDITION PIECE?! AND THEY WOULD JUST PUT ME HERE IN THIS SO CALLED TEAM!? FOR NOTHING!? OH, WHAT THE FUCK WERE THESE JUDGES THINKING!? ARE THEY DRUNK!?" She then sighs heavily as she tries to calm herself. "I need to go swimming. Right now."
Vanessa (Minor B): "Pah, it's so awesome being in Minor. If you're watching this Sarah, I hope you still have that good life of yours. And that is sarcasm if you didn't catch that. But who cares, it's not like I'll get eliminated first, right? Plus Gordon's obviously by my side so I think it's safe to assume that nothing will go wrong. And to think that Colin ended up in one of the Major teams… gotta give props to him on that."
"Well that means… Sami, Adala, Sybil, Zack, Pierre, Carter, and Gabe! Make your way to the back of the room!" Don instructed as they followed, with mixed reactions once again, though most have positive reactions. "The rest of you, Beatrice, May, Antoinette, Colin, Nash, Ryder, and Arreis, stay here in the front!"
Everyone anticipated the other teams.
"We now have our Major Team! You won't be working together again, because those who are in back are Major B! Those who stayed here in the front are Major A!" Brea announced.
Adala (Major B): "Ha! Couldn't day one just get anymore better. I'm sure the Major teams will benefit more than the Minor teams obviously. Hence the team name. I wonder what made the producers think about this kind of arrangement though… it surprises me."
Antoinette (Major A): "I told you I can make it to the Major team! Now, my first plan? Time to get these veterans out. They've wasted their first chance on this series and they're not gonna get a third one. Two times is enough. Sucks that Miss Future is in this team…"
Arreis (Major A): "Major's still a team. Minor is also a team. And I swear, if another argument about leadership comes like what Sal, Spear, and Amanda had last season, I'm gonna throw my head off. And if Chris will eliminate me again for god-knows-what… I swear he won't like whatever I have in store for him."
Beatrice (Major A): "I'm excited! I can see that I will have a very good time with this team of mine!" She bows in front of the camera with a huge grin on her face. "This has been an honor...! I'll make you proud!"
Carter (Major B): He smirks for a bit in front of the camera. "It's about time my talents are being recognized. I just hope no one will vote me off of the Major team and will become Minor. And about Mag, that can wait. I'll worry about that once the atmosphere is… a bit better."
Colin (Major A): He gave a small smile for the first time. "Someone can actually see the good in me?... I wish I could do that… Hopefully I wouldn't move down to Minor… but then again, those veterans will probably vote me off first thing… good thing Vanessa won't be here to mess with me..."
Gabe (Major B): "This is actually pretty good! I'm on the Major team for whatever reason the hosts have! Hahaha! Hmmm, I wonder who would be great to have as a friend. I mean, our alliance in the Beat Breakers last season didn't go so good since we kept on planning either Samuel or Faith and one of them shows up. So yeah, no alliances… yet…"
May (Major A): "I'm totally fine with being in Major. Everyone here seems nice anyway! Plus Zack and Sami are here! Although I wish Lyle would join us. We would've been a great team. I just hope that Arabelle will stay in Minor." She shudders.
Nash (Major A): "Whoa. I don't know what to say, partner! Maybe this will give me a bit of a confidence boost! Definitely a step up from all that lassoing, darn toothin'! And what's up with that Lee judge that keeps on staring at me like I'm a ghost? You okay, partner?"
Pierre (Major B): "Well, too bad that that pretty girl is in the Minor team. Maybe I'll have to keep this act down. I don't wanna be one of the first ones leaving this competition. But Sybil is in this team… hmm…"
Ryder (Major A): "Hehe. It's just a team, right? Probably nothing else would happen to both teams. I mean, it's not like the standards of the Minor team are different from the standards of the Major team, right?"
Sami (Major B): "This is awesome! I'm finding it really hard to believe that these judges see the potential of just some random girl, right? Oh, I'll make you proud, friends. I'm not just a girl who loves other fandoms."
Sybil (Major B): "Okay, so why is Pierre in the Major team? That stalker is gonna go all over the place! He stalked me a few years ago in middle school and I'm not gonna be surprised if he's after someone here! I'm gonna need some help from Adala..."
Zack (Major B): He merely shrugs in front of the camera. "I'm quite sad that Lyle didn't get to Major. Though I'm quite happy for May. She probably had a great performance on her audition for the judges to put her in a team like this. For Arabelle? Nah, she deserves it."
"Hey, how come the Minor teams have one more member than the Major teams?" Adala asked as she raised her hand.
"That is because, the Minor teams have two veterans, while the Major teams only have one veteran each." Brea answered. "Now, also take note that your teams each have one of the six voices; Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Mezzo-Tenor, and Bass. You also have one veteran if you're in the Major team and two veterans if you are in the Minor team. It's important to get these sorted because who knows, there will be challenges involving these! However-"
"What!" Rival yelled randomly.
"Yeah, what is right! Now quit being a dumbass and shut up!" Arabelle hissed.
"QUIET!" Brea shouted so loud that the entire room became quiet. (The power of this teenager lmao) "Anyway, before I was so rudely interrupted by contestants who are technically about a year older than me, I will be explaining the changes made in this season compared to last time!"
Everyone turned their attention to the young hostess.
"So first and foremost, eliminations are altered." Brea began. "If you're in one of the Major teams, it is guaranteed that you will not be going to elimination. Eliminations will always come from the Minor team."
"Wait, that's not fucking fair!" Toxa hissed.
"Shut up!" Brea spat. "The Minor team that did the worst compared to the other will face elimination. If you are eliminated, you are never coming back to the game!"
"Well, that was honestly expected…" Ryder commented.
"However, the other Minor team and the losing Major team will vote for someone to swap teams! This is our team switch for this season, but it's little by little."
Alec raised his hand. "Uh, so what does that mean?"
"Take Major A and Minor B for example." Don perked up. "Let's say Major A votes for Ryder, and Minor B votes for Lyle. Those two will swap teams. These will happen at every elimination ceremony, which happens in every two episodes."
Lyle (Minor B): He takes a deep breath. 'I'll admit. I lowkey wished that that would come true soon…"
"If the time comes when a Minor team has very few contestants left, we'll have a full team swap." Chris added, earning glances from the contestants to others around them. "So that way, someone who has been in their team for so long can go in a different team for once."
Everyone nodded, not having any questions left.
"Next, advantages and disadvantages." Blaineley began. "The Advanced Note and the Noisy Note won't be returning this season."
Some others began cheering. Some even have mixed faces.
Robert (Minor A): "I honestly don't even remember if those were used last season… considering all the things that happened back then…"
"Instead, we have these!" Chef announced, holding a box.
"Are those...?" Therion was about to ask.
"Nope!" Chef answered, earning a small frown from Therion. "These are the items we'll be using this season!"
He placed several figurines of music notes on a nearby table, about the size of an immunity idol. There was a figurine of a whole note, a half note, a quarter note, an eighth note, and a sixteenth note.
"I'll explain them one by one." Brea mentioned as the contestants began examining the figurines. "The Sixteenth Note cancels the votes of the player of your desire. You cannot use this for yourself."
Mag (Minor A): "Cool! That would probably come in handy for alliances…"
"The Quarter Note cancels all votes against you." Brea added. "It's kinda the opposite? Maybe?"
Colin (Major A): He had determination written all over his eyes. "I must find that!"
"The Half Note doubles your own vote." Chef said, showing everyone the figurine of the half note.
Gordon (Minor B): "Chances of staying in the game if someone uses that note are very rare. No wonder why most people are always at a hunt for immunity back in Archipelago…" he recalled.
"The Whole Note is one of the power advantages. It saves your whole team from elimination." Chris explained. "However, if you're in the Major team and you somehow found this, you'll have to either wait until you move to Minor, or you give it to someone who is currently in the Minor team. If this is used however, you cannot vote for a member to move up to Major."
Janice (Minor B): "That is pretty powerful. I wonder who will get their hands on such an item…"
"You think that is all?" Chris cackled. "Well nope! We still have the music rests! Or in this case, the powerful items. Who knows, they're probably as powerful as the Whole Note."
The hosts placed three more figurines on the table. They looked like a quarter rest, a half rest, and a whole rest.
"Okay you singing maggots! First up, we have the Quarter Rest! This will allow you to select one Major and one Minor team member to automatically switch. It can only be done after a switch has been made." Chef explained as he introduced the figurine. "So in short, with this doohickey, there could be two switches in one elimination!"
Sami (Major B): "Oh no… so that means… if a Minor member gets it, it will most likely be the best Major team member who will be facing this and will be stepping down to the Minor team. This is hard. I don't know if I should give my very best or not…"
"Now for the Half Rest!" Brea shouted. "This will give you the opportunity to eliminate one contestant from the game, whether they are Major or Minor."
Some of the contestants gasped.
Nash (Major A): "Whoa… this is wild, partner. One person gone because of a tiny figurine? I wonder what more of a monster will the Whole Note be… it's gotta be far more worse for darn toothin'."
"And now, is the game's monster." Blaineley held up a figurine which looked like an upside-down top hat. "The Whole Rest. This will give you the opportunity to eliminate three contestants from the game, whether they be Major or Minor."
The whole cast had mixed emotions. Some looked as if they had a plan already, and others are already worried for their safety in the game.
Sybil (Major B): "So they're saying that we could get eliminated even if we are on the Major team? Oh, that is sick…"
"But!" Don shouted. "This one's far more than just the Whole Rest."
He held up a figurine, which had a number 6 on the top under a black line, and an 8 under the black line. It looks like a Time Signature.
"Now, what we have here is the Time Signature. You know all these figurines, right? Well, if you are a holder of the figurine, there is a chance that the figurine you are holding could be changed to a Time Signature, during the elimination ceremony. Like this one." Don smirked.
"Well, what does the Time Signature do?" Vanessa asked. "Surely it has got to be something good right?"
A few nods followed after the question was asked.
"Well, the holder of the Time Signature, my friend," Don began. "...is automatically eliminated from the game."
"...What!?" Vanessa shouted.
Rival (Minor A): "What. The. Fuck." He then burst into laughter. "That is literally worse than Adrian's karate kicks back in the Final Reckoning. Might as well not find any of these figurines then!"
Arabelle (Minor B): "Unless you could stuff it into someone's bag without getting caught…" she chuckled for a bit. "Sal nearly hit Olivia and Faith with a knife back in Musical Impact, from what I watched. I was surprised he didn't get caught until what happened to Meredith."
"The Whole Note and Quarter Rest can only be used before merge." Blaineley added. "The rest of the items expire after three elimination ceremonies have passed since the holder has found the item.
Everyone nodded once more, unsure of how to react. Especially about the fact that the Time Signature is a thing in this game.
"Well, that concludes the items!" Brea sighed. "Now, let's move onto the challenges! There will be two challenges before elimination. The first one will be a non-musically related one, and the second will be a musically-related one."
Gabe (Major B): "Well, it's kind of the same. The only thing is that as our season progresses, we stopped having challenges and focused more on performances…"
"And last-"
"Well, where will we fucking sleep?" Misha retorted.
"I was just getting to that! Argh!" Brea crossed her arms. "So! There are two small houses behind this theater. We decided to remove the room because… you know."
Arreis (Major A): "It's probably because of the incident that happened to Clayton last season. You know, our room does not have electricity and crap… jeez, that season's messed up…"
"Once you get there, the house with the red roof is the Minor house. The house with the blue roof is the Major house. They look the same, but you'll see the difference once you're inside." Blaineley rubbed her hands.
"So, best get yourselves some rest, maggots!" Chef chirped. "We have a challenge later in the evening after dinner, so best if you rest up or something!"
The contestants nodded as the other hosts motioned them to exit the theatre and into their homes.
"Well, what a hectic day today, huh?" Blaineley said.
"We're not ending the episode yet! Because we'll be eavesdropping with the contestants!" Brea added.
Chris then made his jazzy-hand motion in the air. "Stay tuned for Total!"
"Drama!"
"Act II!"
"Musical Power!"
Commercial Break, 1:30 PM
MINOR TEAMS ( A: Toxa, Misha, Mag, Alec, Therion, Rival, Kimmie, Robert. B: Janice, Vanessa, Arabelle, Lyle, Gordon, ELV, Mairead, Oli)
The sixteen teens from Team Minor were walking just behind the theatre.
"They said that the Minor house is the one with the red roof…" Mairead spoke up. "But I don't see a house with a red roof!"
"According to my imagination," Oli replied, causing the preppy girl to turn her head to the other veteran. "...it should just right around the corn-"
"THERE IT IS!" Alec shouted and the others followed and made a run for it.
"Welp, there they go." Oli sighed.
The sixteen contestants have arrived in front of their house. The Minor house looked quite small, only being two storeys high, with a few windows.
"Guess they've found theirs too." Mag pointed out as they all looked at the Major teams, who got into their house with all their stuff.
"Let's get in. I really wanna put my luggage somewhere. I don't want to be dragging this along with me wherever I go because this thing's as heavy as fuck." Toxa sneered.
To their surprise, the door wasn't locked, probably because the staff were expecting them to… you know… not get into hassle in finding the keys.
The contestants entered the house gingerly. It looked pretty simple. The living room wasn't so big, having a red printed carpet on the floor under a round, brown coffee table. There was also a long red couch, along with two armchairs adjacent to it. Behind the living room was a staircase and next to the staircase was a small door, presumably a bathroom. Behind the staircase, you can get a glimpse of a small kitchen with a refrigerator on the far left. However, there was no tv.
"The fudge? There's no tv! How am I supposed to catch up with the latest episode of America's Got Talent!?" Arabelle whined, dropping her luggage handle.
"You watch that?" ELV chuckled as he plopped himself on one of the armchairs. "It's not like, whoever you're rooting for will win the whole damn thing! Like, take Total Drama for example! I mean, who would've thought Owen would win an entire season?"
"Well, at least I don't worry so much about a drug lord who appears to be my father!" Arabelle got into the pale boy's face.
ELV raged for a bit, but sighed. It was just the first day, and he didn't want anyone to get into his bad side.
Therion on the other hand walked up to the stairs and found two bedrooms. "Hey guys!" The blonde boy yelled. "I found two rooms! So how should we split up?"
"Boys and girls, duh!" Vanessa snarked, rolling her round brown eyes.
"Uh… actually, it says the team name on each door. So that means Minor A gets one room while Minor B gets the other." Therion replied.
"Well, that does it. Minor A in one room, Minor B on the other!" Misha yelled, eventually tying her pink hair up in a ponytail.
The teens stared at each other for a good three seconds before sprinting and racing up the stairs with their luggages dragging behind them up to their respective rooms. Up the stairs were the rooms, one door on the left and one on the right. Between them was a door to another bathroom.
The camera secretly pans onto Minor A's room as they prepped up their stuff and decides who sleeps on what.
The room was average in size. It had four bunk beds, two on the left and two on the right, each with a night table next to it. There were also about two wardrobes on the far end of the room and between them was a window.
"At least the room's bigger than the one last season." Kimmie commented, placing her yellow luggage on the bottom bunk on the far left. "Plus, there's a window here! And the view's not quite bad!"
"It's just the city." Misha retorted as she climbed on the bunk above Kimmie's. "Nothing's special about this city anyway. Let alone this theatre. I mean, who knows what crazy shit happened here during Musical Impact!"
"Well, you don't know unless you've watched the last season." Robert smirked as he picked the top bunk adjacent from Kimmie and Misha's bunk. "Last season was hell."
"Yo, Therion. Let's go on this one." Rival elbowed the surfer-haired boy as the red haired boy reached for the bunk next to Robert's. "You want the top of the bottom?"
"Uh…" Therion scratched his head.
"Well, I call the top bunk!" Rival cheered as he climbed up the bunk to the top one. "The bottom one is okay for you?"
"Yeah. Sure. Why not." Therion smiled a bit as he laid his bag on the bed.
"Hey Robert, is anyone in that bunk?" Alec asked, eyeing the brown-haired boy whilst pointing at the top bunk.
"Oh, this one? It's all yours." Robert shrugged, getting unpacked.
"Really? Sweet!" Alec cheered and he tossed his backpack on the bunk above Robert's, eventually climbing up there.
"So I guess this one's left." Mag commented as she approached the bunk adjacent from Rival and Therion's. "Hey Toxa, are you getting the-"
She received some loud snoring for an answer.
"I guess that means yes." Mag snickered, flipping the turquoise ends of her brunette hair and sat down on the bunk below Toxa's (who was apparently sleeping from all the shit that just happened to her).
Silence fell upon them as everyone started unpacking.
"So… how was Musical Impact?" Alec asked, particularly to the two veterans, Robert and Kimmie. "I'm sure that last season was a bunch of fun."
"It was great." Kimmie shrugged. "Until I was eliminated because of Jacques and Josee."
"I hope that that does not happen here." Alec shuddered at the mere thought.
"Hell." Robert plainly answered. "Well, only about four of the eliminations were caused by a vote-off. I was eliminated with Gabe because of the randomizer."
"That sucks, dude." Rival frowned. "Reminds me of the Wheel of Decisions, right Therion?"
"Yup. Big time." Therion nodded. "I was eliminated because of a randomizer too."
"Hey, Therion." Misha perked up. "Who was that pretty intern you were eyeing at earlier?"
"Ooh…" Rival snickered a bit.
"Um," Therion blushed a bright shade of pink before chuckling nervously. "No one. Just a friend."
"Really?" Mag snickered as she started unpacking her things from her bags. "You never mentioned anything about a girl since Total Drama Submerged."
"Oh, Mara?" Kimmie spoked up. "She's pretty nice. Sure, she's been into hell because of Maya but I'm pretty sure those two will get along as time goes by."
"What? What did Maya do?" Therion gasped.
"Hold on, how come you're so concerned about this Mara chick?" Misha asked, turning her small blue eyes to pay attention to Therion.
"Um… l-like I said, she's just an old friend I met in my past seasons…" Therion chuckled sheepishly. "R-right, Rival?"
"Yeah. She's a good friend." Rival agreed as the red head got out his guitar from its case and started tuning it. "We even left the competition at the same time because of this season, hehe."
Therion sent a small smile to Rival.
"Dude, thanks for saving my back." He mouthed.
Toxa, who was actually pretending to sleep amidst this whole ordeal, then looked below her bunk, just to see Mag examining her things.
"What's up with you and Carter?" She asked randomly.
"Whoa! I thought you were asleep!" Mag freaked out as her heterochromic eyes widened from the sight of Toxa hanging upside down from her bunk.
"Well… what's up with you and that Carter dude?" Toxa asked again.
Mag sighed in defeat. "I don't know… probably just some guy tryna get in my head and do stuff, you know? I don't even know who my biological father is, and I don't care what his mother did, so I'm not here to buy that problem and solve it on my own."
"Oh."
"Well, do you know any of the contestants here?" Mag asked, hoping to get an answer from the spunky girl.
"Oh, I know a lot." Toxa smirked, her blue eyes with yellow contacts turning her attention towards Mag before climbing down her bunk and sat next to the other girl. "I've known Gordon, Vanessa, and Clayton since Archipelago. Gordon and Vanessa were quite the sarcastic duo and Clayton was a pretty good friend too. We ended up on the same team together."
"You know Clayton? Wow! And to think that he competed in Act I, and all that… who won?" Mag asked, her eyes widening.
"Well, the season was cancelled." Toxa sighed. "We were in the middle of filming. Musical Impact happened two years before this one. Archipelago happened last year, but that season got fucked up and boom. It's cancelled."
"Ah, that sucks." Mag hissed. "I've competed in another season too. Total Drama Submerged. We were competing in this huge submarine, going to different places, hell I even caught wind of myself with some of those veterans there. It was kinda tough. Finishing in 11th place and all."
"Really?" Toxa widened her eyes. "That's cool, girl! My friend Chander even got the first boot there! I'm sure you met him. Plus that intern agent in Musical Impact was there too, Eden I think?"
"Yeah, Eden did pretty good in that season, landing in eighth. Chander was a freaking prankster on the other hand... Hell, he even lost again in Fiery Passion. Well, at least he's a helper now. Therion was there too, he didn't made it far though..." Mag chuckled.
"Gotta catch up on him soon." Toxa chuckled in as well.
The camera then switches to Minor B's room. It looks exactly the same as Minor A's room. Except for the fact that it had different people in it.
"Ah, at least this is better than that crappy room back in Musical Impact." Oli smiled as he rested his head on his pillow. He was on the far right bunk, and practically picked the top one.
"Where did you guys sleep last season?" Lyle asked him. He was on the bunk below Oli, unpacking things from his orange backpack.
"In a room way smaller than this one. Plus, we were forced to sleep in pairs, with our partner having to be someone in the opposite gender." Oli gagged.
"That's uncomfortable. But we have no choice here… we're a team anyway." Lyle shrugs.
A pair of ballet slippers fell off from Lyle's bag.
"What's this?" Arabelle smirked as she picked up the slippers. "You bring this to the game? Shame on you. Ballet is only for girls." She chuckled as she threw it into Lyle's face.
"Ow! Hey! Listen up, Arabelle." Lyle stood up with a smirk on his face. "Males can do ballet. Hell, Evander was a ballerino himself in Musical Impact."
"Oh boy, I feel as if this fight is gonna get worse than Sal and Spear's." Oli sighed.
"You know what, you two?" Vanessa stood up from her bunk (which was right below Gordon's) and marched off to the two. "Cut that shit out! You two don't wanna be the first ones off you know! Especially you, Arabelle."
"Psh. Like I'd ever listen to Vanessa Carlton's doppelganger." Arabelle rolled her eyes.
"Seriously! It isn't helping!" Gordon ran over to Vanessa's side and grabbed her hand, startling the pianist. "Arabelle, you have done nothing in the past few hours but just bullying people! First May, then Lyle, hell, you even yelled at me! You almost yelled at Zack too! I'm not gonna be surprised if you're the first one out because you're just gonna fuck up our team!"
Arabelle just made a tsk tsk sound with her tongue. "You guys are out first! You'll see!" She screamed and slammed the door on her way out.
"And to think that I'm bunking with her." Janice sighed depressingly, gesturing to the bunk below her.
"I'm voting her out if she really does fuck up the challenge." ELV deadpanned as he laid down on his bunk below Mairead's. "Honestly, she's worse than Amanda from last season. Hell, Amanda even redeemed herself throughout the game."
"Hey guys." Mairead chirped up. "Remember that the hosts said that there were differences from the two houses?"
"Yeah." Janice nodded. "There's no air conditioner in here, so we'll be having a hard time sleeping because of how hot it is." She added as she took off her black sweater, revealing her in her black double-strapped tank top. "I'm not used to sleeping in the heat."
"Best we keep the door open later." Oli informed everyone. "Who cares if Arabelle comes back. We can have her sleep on the couch downstairs if she's here to mess with Lyle again."
"I hope so." Lyle sighed. "I'm gonna go wash my face in the bathroom. Knock if you need me." He added as he headed onto the bathroom.
"Speaking of which," Mairead said as she climbed down from her bunk and sat on ELV's bunk (ELV was just staring at the bunk above him anyways, so he didn't mind). "How did you and Gordon met, Vanessa? You two seem so close."
"Well, I met him back in another season, Total Drama Archipelago." Vanessa chuckled a bit as she sat next to Mairead. "I used to hate him, but he kind of reminded me of myself, so I guess I decided to befriend him."
"That's cool." Mairead smiled. "Xavier's my friend from the other season. But, he developed some feelings for me, and I… kinda said no because… I'm kinda attracted to girls."
"Oh. That's kinda tough." Vanessa replied, glancing at Gordon who was chatting with Lyle who just came back from the bathroom with a face towel on his hand. "Those two get along pretty quick, huh."
"Hm, do you like Gordon?" Mairead suddenly asked, causing the red haired girl to blush.
"Um… what? Well, he's pretty sweet." Vanessa rolled her eyes sarcastically.
Mairead cheekily smirked, not minding the pianist's sarcasm. "He defended you from Arabelle. His fact even states that you are someone… special to him. Girl, he even held your hand for goodness' sake."
"Well, don't you think it's too early, Mairead?" Vanessa smirked.
"Yeah… you're probably right…" Mairead sighed. "Besides, it took me a while last season to realize that Xavier was in love with me."
MAJOR TEAMS (A: Beatrice, May, Antoinette, Colin, Nash, Ryder, Arreis. B: Sami, Adala, Sybil, Zack, Pierre, Carter, Gabe)
The Major house looks almost exact the same as the Minor house. The only differences were that the furniture is in a shade of the color blue, along with the rug, and some other home decor.
"This looks dope." Zack comments as he takes off his backpack.
"I agree. At least we are given a house this time." Gabe told them. "The only difference here is that there's no tv."
"Well… I guess they figured that we wouldn't be staying here all the time." Ryder replied as he went up the stairs. "Hey guys! There's room for Major A and another room for Major B!"
"Great. Only two rooms?" Arreis whined. "At least we have more than two people sleeping in one room then."
"Let's go check out these rooms and see what they look like!" Sami squealed excitedly and entered a room with a Major B sign board in it.
The camera shows the Major A room, which looked exactly the same as the ones in the Minor house. Except that there were only three bunk beds, with the far left corner having a blue couch.
"Hey Beatrice, wanna bunk with me?" May grinned from ear to ear whilst looking at the fandom girl.
"I'd love to!" The short, pink haired girl squealed and held onto her floral luggage. "Which bunk should we take?"
"Let's take the one over there!" She pointed to the bunk in the far right side. "Which one would you want, the top bunk or the bottom bunk?"
"Hey would you two hurry up?" Antoinette asked, already irritated about the slow decision making of the two. "There's five more of us waiting to make a decision on where to sleep! Chop chop!"
"You're not helping, partner." Nash retaliated, something that is actually not like him. "Have a teensy bit more patience, for darn toothin'."
"Ugh, you know what?" Antoinette sighed and crossed her arms and remarked sarcastically, "Patience is a virtue after all."
Once May and Beatrice were done, Nash entered the room, followed by Ryder, Colin, and Antoinette… and of course, Arreis. They were already choosing a bunk.
"Of course no one would want to bunk with me. I'll just go to-" Colin muttered against his breath only to be interrupted by Ryder who placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Wanna bunk with me, dude?" Ryder asked with a friendly smile.
"...okay." Colin shrugged.
"Which one are you gonna go for? The top or the bottom?" Ryder asked, bringing his stuff to the bunk next to Beatrice and May's.
"I… guess I'll just go to the top. Who cares if I fall off…"
"Well, dude. If you don't wanna fall off then… wanna take the bottom bunk?" The other boy asked, with one of his eyebrows rising.
"Sure…"
On the other side, Nash, Antoinette, and Arreis were wondering who gets the couch. However, Antoinette and Arreis were… not really on good terms, so to speak.
"I'll get the couch, partners!" Nash quickly decided sheepishly to end the two girls' death stares and dumped his backpack in it. Along with a rope that barely landed on the couch. "Whoops."
"What's that for?" Antoinette asked, with a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"Oh, just something to remind me of home." Nash shrugged.
"Well… whatever you say, cowboy." The diva rolled her eyes and climbed up on the bunk next to the couch.
Arreis smirked victoriously as she threw her backpack on the bottom bunk below Antoinette's.
"Bottom's up! Hehehe…" she chuckled.
"So… what made you sign up again for Act II? Surely you would've known that you were to be eliminated again for doing something stupid." The brunette diva laughed for a bit.
"Hey, I did not do anything stupid!" Arreis had her arms up defensively. "What, so you think I can't be trusted?"
"...well… no one here is to be trusted." Antoinette smirked. "Not even that guy who wears his socks on sandals."
"Hey, Antoinette. Not cool. No offense, but you're starting to sound like Arabelle." Ryder stood, getting into Colin's defense before the downed boy could say something else.
"Listen, Walker. I'm way different from that Arabelle chick. We all know that. Heck, she isn't even pretty enough to begin with." Antoinette snarked.
"Ooh, cocky aren't we, partner?" Nash muttered to himself with a huge smirk on his slightly tanned face.
"Well… the question is, are you pretty?" Beatrice got onto Antoinette's face. The diva already had insulted the timid girl not too long ago, and she wasn't planning to do this again.
"Oh, shut up futuristic bitch!" Antoinette screamed.
"I am not liking the sound of this…" May quivered and hid herself under the sheets of her bed, not wanting to witness the argument of her new friend and her new potential rival.
In the room of the Major B team, things were going pretty smoothly.
"So… who's taking the couch?" Zack asked his six other team members. They were standing in the middle of the room, unsure of who sleeps where.
After about an eternity of awkward silence, Carter sighed and tossed his luggage near the couch. "I'll go for it. I don't want anyone shoving their faces towards my problems anyway."
"... whatever you say." Gabe shrugged. "Wanna bunk with me, Zack?"
"Sure, dude. C'mon, let's take the one next to Carter so he won't feel so lonely." Zack chuckled a bit while Carter just raised an eyebrow at this sudden comment from the tall guy.
"Dibs on the top bunk!" Gabe cheered and climbed up the top bunk, just as he said.
"Well… yeah. I'll just take the bottom. Thanks a lot to my height." Zack muttered, gesturing to his six foot one ectomorph build compared to Gabe's skinny self.
"I'll have this one!" Sami smiled and climbed up the bunk adjacent to the couch, placing her pink luggage below as Adala claimed the bunk below the fandom girl's bunk.
"This one's mine." Adala grinned, but then looked at Sybil who looked as if she saw a ghost.
"So I have to bunk with him?" She frowned, gesturing to Pierre.
"Yeah, Sybil. You'll have the top bunk in case someone catches you masturbating, babe." Pierre snickered and settled his blue backpack on his claimed bunk bed.
"Ugh, you fucking disgusting bastard!" Sybil gagged, her face turning into a bright shade of red and climbed up the bunk on top of Pierre's.
"Sorry girl." Adala chuckled sheepishly. "What's up with the nosy attitude, Pierre?"
"Adala, I don't think you should be talking to that guy…" Sami whispered to her from her bunk.
"Well, who knows who's doing what. We need to make sure we all stick together. Otherwise, who knows which one of us has to step down on Minor." Adala remarked in front of everyone else whilst sitting on her bunk.
The Major B team members all looked at her as if she was lecturing them, especially Sami, who looked as if Adala did the weirdest thing of all time.
"Oh, whatever." She then shrugged and turned her gaze to Gabe. "Hey, how did you guys fare out in Musical Impact?"
Gabe shook his head slightly and sighed, "Oh, that season was crazy. You won't even know what comes after you because I'm telling you guys right now: the hosts are unpredictable. Now with Blaineley there to join in their fun, who knows what crap will surprise us later."
"Well, I'm not going to assume that we're going to be sinking in a cruise ship similar to last season." Carter blurted out, not taking his eyes off the couch he was sitting on. "Everyone of us has our own problems to take care of."
"I agree with you right there." Sybil called out, eyeing suspiciously at Pierre who was arranging his stuff below her.
BONUS SCENE: INTERNS
The camera cuts to the hallways of the theatre, where we can see Dustin, Maya, Mara, and Ulysses just chilling in the corner.
"I can't believe Therion is here!" Mara freaked out. "And Rival too. I still hope he's not mad at me."
"Why would he be mad at you? He seems like a nice guy." Dustin asked her, as he got a king chess piece from his pocket. "Unlike Janice. She's really bossy back in Total Drama Takes The Stage. I'm surprised she isn't like that here!"
"Well, I threw a grenade at Rival once. He would've been killed! But… maybe it's because I can't cope up well when I'm not with the people I love…" the Spanish girl sighed sadly.
Ulysses turned to Mara, who had a sad look on her face.
Ulysses (Intern): "Look, I used to have a crush on Mara before Act I even happened. I just don't like it whenever she tells me to stop drinking and smoking while I'm still a minor! The nerve of this person… now she's got a boyfriend who she misses so bad. Ugh, they're going down, and I'm gonna need Maya's help!"
Suddenly a figure came rushing towards them. She was kinda tall, had apricot hair that reached a few inches past her shoulders. She wore a black off-shoulder blouse, blue skinny jeans, and had a white backpack on.
"Hey guys! Am I late? It sure looks like I am considering all of you are here." She panted.
"Yeah, you're really late, Eden. The episode just ended. What happened to you? You weren't like that in Musical Impact." Maya snarked.
"Blame it on Louiza. She can't even promise me to take care of Ace while I'm gone!" Eden crossed her arms.
"Ace? Pah, you guys are twins! He can take care of himself! Besides, who knows what he and Louiza are planning to do in your house!" Ulysses pointed out.
"Ugh, thank you so much Ulysses for giving me images in my head." Eden scoffed.
"No problem." The gangster boy snickered.
The camera then went static.
