Day 9, 7:00 AM

Lobby

The camera pans to Godfrey, who was looking on the windows. The skies were incredibly dark and rain was pouring down hard. Thunder and lightning were also heard in the background. "Well, looks like we're gonna have a rather rainy episode today."

"Either way, the challenge is still gonna take place inside the theater so it's not too big of a deal." Blaineley shrugged while examining her nails off to the side.

"What time is it?" Don asked the other hosts. "The skies looked so dark that it almost looks like it's nighttime."

"7:01 am." Brea blandly responded, barely even looking at her watch. "Do you think those contestants are awake? The two trainees that the aftermath hosts sent are already in the auditorium."

"Probably." Chris answered. "Let's… just do the intro." He cleared his throat as he stared towards the camera. "Last time on Act II, a lot of ruckus happened, particularly due to a certain sabotage."

"A sabotage that only Toxa will cause, that is." Chef added, smirking. "Xavier, one of the Act I alumni got injured due to the sabotage and Lyle was forced to take elimination."

"Honestly, we were supposed to have two of the former contestants as helpers for this challenge, but due to certain circumstances relating to trust, we decided to get two of Fresh Entertainment's ace trainees instead." Don told the camera. "You will meet them later!"

"What will happen in this rainy and stormy episode?" Godfrey butted in. "Find out on…"

"Total Drama Act II: Musical Power!" The hosts shouted.

"God, that sounded more like an outro than an intro." Brea facepalmed as the screen faded to the opening theme.

*Opening Theme #1*

Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine

The camera zooms into the dance practice room where Lyle was practicing his ballet. May and Sami were watching him and applauded as he landed on his plié successfully, while Arabelle on the other hand, watched with disgust.

You're always on my mind

The camera leaves the room and heads to the auditorium where we can see Beatrice masterfully playing the piano until Antoinette sits on the keys smirking, causing several off-key notes being played. Ryder sees this and pushes Antoinette off the piano, causing her to land face first to the floor and Ryder and Beatrice high-fived.

You asked me what I wanted to be

The camera zooms under the high-five and next thing we see is that we are in the bedroom of one of the teams' houses, where Janice was writing in her diary. Toxa was standing right behind her, rubbing her hands as if she had a plan. Toxa then turns back, only to find Misha crossing her arms. On the window however, we can see Pierre trying to get a peek of the girls.

And now I think the answer is plain to see

The camera warps to the other house's living room, where we can see Rival and Therion doing their handshake. Mara is then seen in the window waving at them causing Therion to blush but then scowls when he sees Mara taken away by Ulysses. Both boys however, ignored Alec, who served them a plate of cookies, with a shocked expression on his face.

I wanna be famous

The camera zooms into the cookies and warps to the backstage where we can see Carter and Mag arguing, with Nash trying to break them up, by throwing his lasso at them. Lee on the other hand, freaks out as he sees this, and runs away from them instead of telling them something important.

I wanna live close to the sun

We then get a view of the storage room, where Gordon and Vanessa were looking for something. Colin opens the door, scaring the two, but leaves after that with a downed expression.

Go pack your bags, I've already gone far

The camera then warps again to the dressing room, where we see Adala and Zack comforting Sybil, who looked as if she were crying. It then pans onto ELV on the other side of the room, who happens to pass by and (unintentionally) begins to eavesdrop.

Everything to prove, what can you say?

We now go to the cafeteria where we can see Holly, Evan, and Leticia chatting. Arreis and Kimmie have plates of food in their hand but Kimmie accidentally drops the food on Holly, making her mad. Mairead was on the other table, laughing, while Gabe didn't look too pleased.

I'll be there one day

The camera quickly zooms into a small library where Dustin, Oli, and Robert were playing cards. However Maya comes in and slams the table, causing all cards to fall off, getting glares from the three boys.

'Cause I wanna be famous

The scene then swaps to a camera room, where we can see Brea, Blaineley, Chris, and Chef arguing. Don then arrives and stops everyone but is stopped when Enrique starts scolding them.

Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na!

The scene switches to the office room where we can see Chris holding a bunch of papers, then leaves his office with a note that says "NO TRESPASSING" in big red letters.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

The first "I wanna be" shows the Sopranos (Janice, Sami, Toxa, Beatrice, Kimmie) against the Tenors (Alec, Colin, Zack, Lyle, Oli). The second "I wanna be" shows the Mezzo-Sopranos (Vanessa, Misha, Adala, May, Mairead) and the Mezzo-Tenors (Gordon, Pierre, Therion, Nash, Robert) shaking hands. The "I wanna be famous" shows the Altos (Arabelle, Antoinette, Mag, Sybil, Arreis) and Basses (Rival, Ryder, Carter, ELV, Gabe) sharing a group hug.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

The fourth "I wanna be" shows the four interns standing there with mixed expressions. The fifth "I wanna be" shows the five judges with different reactions from different performances. In the second "I wanna be famous" shows the five hosts crossing their arms with smirks on their faces.

*whistling in tune*

The whole cast can now be seen on the stage, bowing as the audience applauds them loudly. Flowers were being thrown to the stage as the curtain closed, revealing the season's title, "Total Drama Act II: The Second Sonatine" in gold letters. The episode title, "Episode 9: Let's Burn It Up" can be seen written below, in silver letters.

*End opening theme*

Episode 10: Let's Burn It Up

"Let's set this stage on fire."

Major House - Girls' Room

In the girls' bedroom of the Major house, there was no one present except for Antoinette, who was fixing her things in her bag. She gasped a bit when she heard the door knock.

"It's not locked." She called out.

The person knocking opened the door and stepped in, revealing to be Ryder. Antoinette didn't seem too fazed at his presence, however.

"Oh. Hi." Antoinette greeted, without even looking at him.

"Yeah. Hey." Ryder sighed. "Look, Antoinette. I know I'm gonna sound really weird for saying this but, do you remember anything that happened to us back at the escape challenge?"

The diva gulped and widened her eyes. Her eyes darted towards him, but decided to lie through her teeth. "No."

"Really?" The infamous dancer asked in disbelief. "You don't remember anything?"

Antoinette slightly panicked. "No. Really. I don't understand what you're talking about."

"Oh okay." Ryder nodded, but looked as if he was going to spill some beans. "Then tell the truth, Antoinette Mirasol. What's with this issue among some of the others saying that you seduced me and we ended up making out?"

She quickly stood up and faced him. "You listen to me. I have no idea what was going on with me during that time! I can't even control myself! I mean if you were able to control yourself during that time then you would've just pushed me away or something!"

"Well guess what!" Ryder got into her face. "Arreis knows all about it. And she said that she was sensing Beatrice and May having feelings for me. If that's true, then there's one worse case scenario for you because there's no doubt that those three will hold themselves back to get you out of the game."

Antoinette suddenly realized something. "Wait, why are you telling me this then when you clearly hate me?"

Ryder rolled his eyes, making his way towards the door. "I don't hate you, but I don't like you either. You're just proving to our team that you are not some useless nuisance like Arabelle. So if I were you, I suggest you zip your mouth until you're eliminated or else we're both screwed." He added harshly before going out of the door, leaving Antoinette sad, worried, and confused.

Library

Carter was getting a book out from a shelf, but almost dropped it as soon as he saw Mag.

"What the- Mag!" Carter shrieked. "Why are you here?"

Mag only responded with a smirk, in a seemingly familiar way that Carter might've comprehended but his mind was too foggy to do so.

"I have a proposal to make."

"What?"

"You want to know the truth, right? About our parents? And if all your speculations were true?" Mag asked him.

Carter nodded without hesitation. "Of course I want to. What else would I do?"

"Well… here's a deal." Mag said, a look of determination forming in her face. "There is someone on our team that I really want them to be gone."

Carter stared down at the book he was holding, having a small idea of who could it be but decided not to say who.

"It's Toxa." Mag finally said after what seemed like forever.

"I knew it." Carter made a tsk tsk sound. "She was the reason why Lyle was eliminated last night."

"WHAT!?" Mag widened her eyes. "What did she do?"

"She went into our room while we were fixing up Xavier. She had some sort of bottle on her hand and switched it up with the moisturizing cream we had." Carter explained. "Then Lyle used it on Xavier. I tried to stop him but… I wasn't so sure at first."

"You dunce! You could've just stopped Lyle from using it all at once! He would still be here right now!" Mag retaliated.

"Well everybody makes mistakes!" Carter shot back. "Nobody is perfect you know."

Mag sighed and didn't respond for a few moments so Carter decided to ask a question.

"Wait… why were you going after Toxa?"

"Me, her, and Rival had an alliance. We were supposed to vote off Pierre during that time, but she voted on Alec instead. I don't even know why." Mag explained to him.

"Okay." Carter nodded. "Then I guess I'll accept your offer then."

Mag smirked again. "Good."

2nd Floor Staircase

Both Rival and Therion were sitting on the staircase, chatting like what friends do, but they were actually talking about their team this time around.

"Hey Therion, Mag and I have an alliance in case you want to join us or something." Rival brought up. "Toxa was supposed to be a part of the alliance as well but since she was the reason why Alec and possibly Lyle are gone, then we're planning to target her."

"Sounds like a fair plan." Therion nodded. "I was already sensing something bad from her ever since we switched and merged teams."

"Well, I heard from Clayton that she'll wear off that nasty attitude eventually." Rival shrugged. "But if she doesn't, then we have no choice but to get her out."

"Well who else is after her?" asked Therion.

"Besides Mag, I'm pretty sure that Carter might be too. Did you see how he kept an eye at Toxa last night? It seemed like he was already suspicious of her when she placed that bottle on the kit." Rival pointed out, but sighed. "I shouldn't have told her where the kit was. Maybe Lyle would still be here."

"Hey, don't beat yourself up over it." Therion placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's not your fault. Sure it wasn't something that we're proud of, but at least we just have to accept it and move on. That's what I usually said to Mara, and guess what, she learned to accept and stopped beating herself up over it. She did the same for me, and so it just happens."

Rival gave off a smile. One because he was cheered up by his friend and two because there was a slight chance that Therion and Mara would get back together.

"Speaking of Mara, have you already tried talking to her?"

Therion felt his heart skip a beat. The answer was definitely no, and he wasn't really planning to do so anytime soon. After a while of silence, he cleared his throat. "Uhhh, sorry Rival. I got to do something. See ya at the challenge." He quickly said and ran off.

Rival (Major): "Looks like he wasn't ready."

Just as Therion left, Rival suddenly heard a familiar voice call him.

"Rival?"

He turned back and saw Mara, the intern that they were talking about earlier.

Rival (Major): "Speak of the devil…"

Mara approached him slowly and nervously. "Um… did you speak with Therion?"

"Uh, yeah." Rival slowly nodded, already feeling bad just by looking at her sad look.

Mara fumbled with her fingers. "H-has he ever told you anything about… y-you know… talking to me?"

"Well… no, sadly. But I'm sure he will soon." Rival assured, patting her head.

"Umm… okay, then." Mara sighed, her eyes getting slightly watery but she blinked rapidly anyway. "Thanks, uh… I'll just go." She said and went out the other way, only making Rival feel bad.

"You know what, maybe I should do something now." Rival said to himself.

Major House - Living Room

Meanwhile, Misha, Beatrice, and May were eating some snacks by the table in the living room.

"Do you guys think that Toxa is up to no good lately?" May asked the other two girls. "It's obvious that she was responsible for Lyle's elimination."

"Obviously." Beatrice rolled her eyes. "I mean, I wouldn't honestly be surprised if she's the conversation topic of most Major team members. It was all too obvious."

"Yeah, that bitch won't get away with that one." Misha sighed. "Why did we even talk to her in the first place?"

"I don't know." Beatrice shrugged. "You know… once we get rid of Toxa, I think we should get rid of Antoinette next."

"Yeah." May quickly agreed without hesitation.

Misha however, raised an eyebrow. "Wait, what's going on with all that? Why Antoinette?" she suddenly remembered spilling a fact that she wasn't supposed to back in the other night. "Oh… yeah… um… sorry for blurting all that out during that time."

Beatrice sighed. "That's alright. We forgive you."

"It's just that… Antoinette doesn't seem to be a good teammate anymore. She's… kind of distracting our thoughts." May added.

Misha raised an eyebrow once more. "Do you two have a thing for him?"

"Nope. Just friends." Beatrice confidently confirmed.

"Um… yeah. Just friends…" May sighed.

Beatrice (Major): "Wait… May has a thing for Ryder? Why didn't I see that before… maybe she thought that I have a thing for him… but the truth is… no. I don't. Or… maybe a little bit, but not so much as May does, so she can have him obviously." She grinned.

Suddenly, the door opened as Toxa barged into the house startling the girls.

"Whoa. Hey, Toxa." Beatrice greeted, as to not make things obvious that they were just talking about her earlier.

"Wanna join us or something?" May asked. (Although she knew that this would be a bad idea.)

"No, I'm actually looking for something." Toxa stated. "Have you guys seen a small pocketbook?"

"Nah, why'd you ask?" Misha asked as well, suspicion levels already rising up.

"It's something important. I need to find it." Toxa stated as she rushed upstairs.

Toxa (Major): "Remember that pocketbook that Lyle had a few nights ago? The one that actually belonged to ELV? Yeah, that one. There's some juicy information in there. I found it last night just by the lobby right when Lyle left. He probably dropped it." She rubbed her hands vigorously. "More schemes coming right up."

Storage Room

The camera pans to the storage room, where we see Vanessa and Gordon talking with each other like what they usually did.

"You know what's funny?" Vanessa chuckled. "We're always in here whenever there's free time."

"Yeah, it's kind of like a cool hangout spot." Gordon replied. "I was being sarcastic. I don't even know why we always hang out here."

"Me neither." Vanessa laughed again. "I know that there are also cool spots to hang out here but, even I don't know why we always hang out in this tiny storage room.

Gordon sighed happily. "You know… whoever in Total Drama Archipelago said that we could make a good couple is not wrong." He said out loud.

Vanessa let out a nervous laugh. "What? A couple?"

Gordon instantly felt his face heat up. "I mean- what did I just say?"

"You just said that someone back in Total Drama Archipelago said that we would make a good couple… right?" Vanessa slightly laughed.

"I was just kidding." Gordon laughed with a huge red blush on his face. "I mean, yeah someone said it before because we're always together in… a friendship kinda way, but I was just joking, I swear."

The pianist smirked, however. "Well… let's see if they're right."

The flute player raised an eyebrow, confused. "And what is that supposed to mean?"

Vanessa gave off a small chuckle before cupping her hands on his cheeks. "This." She said in her usual sarcastic tone, pulling him in for a kiss. Gordon widened his eyes a bit, but decided to return it too. A few moments later, they pulled out.

"...I didn't know you had it in you." Gordon smirked.

"Oh please, this show just got two couples canon in a row since the last episode." Vanessa laughed, playfully rolling her eyes. "There's even this pattern that if one couple gets together in this season, one of them will get voted out."

Gordon chuckled. "That won't be us." He said in a slightly huskier voice, having Vanessa against the wall before bringing her in for another kiss.

"So does this mean we're official?"

"Of course, duh. We should've been official since Total Drama Archipelago but you're probably too shy to admit it." Vanessa smirked towards him. "So I took the initiative this season."

"Well then, nice move, Nessa." Gordon laughed as he shared one more kiss with her.

Minor House - Girls' Room

In the Minor house, the camera pans to the girls room where we could see Arreis and Adala paint each other's nails.

"So tell me about it," Adala cleared her throat as she painted Arreis' nail on her left ring finger. "You seriously think that it was your fault that you got eliminated last season?"

"Adala, I still keep thinking about that until now." Arreis pouted, wanting to smack her forehead but remembers that she is being manicured. "It's unhealthy now. I mean, Act I happened like, two years ago. I really think I should get this over with by this time."

"Well, at least try and focus on getting into a higher placement this season." The improviser suggested.

Arreis nodded, a bit thankful for the advice. Although it wasn't much, she appreciated the fact that someone also sees her point of view.

Once silence arose between the two girls, Adala looked up towards Arreis. "Hey, is it just me or do you think… that Sami is acting kind of strange these days?"

The veteran widened her eyes in realization. "Yeah, I think so too. I thought I was the only one thinking that."

"Especially whenever she's with Sybil." Adala noted. "I'm thinking that they had history before the show. That seems to be the only way. Unless something happened while we never knew about it."

"Well… I don't really know…" Arreis sighed, not knowing how to respond as she was having her own concerns relating to… different issues.

Arreis (Minor): "Look, I know I'm trying to keep everything I knew from Ryder and Antoinette to myself but… I really think that I should be asking for advice because… I don't know, curiosity is building up inside me like a bitch. And I think Adala could be the right person to talk to, I've seen her give advice to some of the others before… I just really don't know."

Minor House - Boys Room

Robert sighed as he looked in the window, blurry because of all the rain dripping on it. "Never knew it would rain today."

"Me neither." Gabe said and sat next to him. "There wasn't a single rainy day last season if I remembered correctly."

"There wasn't." The brunet shook his head. "Just chaos."

"Yeah." Gabe added. "Let's just hope that this season won't get as chaotic as the last one."

Robert cleared his throat. "Well… judging by the interactions from the others, it's already chaotic."

Robert (Minor): "I know that this is the show that gave me some fame but… it doesn't mean I like it, okay?" He added with a slight chuckle.

Gabe (Minor): He was seen with his eyes closed and head bowed down as if he was… praying?

Robert and Gabe grew silent for some time, and turned back to see Colin just laying on his bed staring blankly into the bed above him.

"Hey Colin, you alright?" Gabe asked, slightly concerned. "You've been like that a lot lately."

"Well, you've never seen me happy so I could give you that." Colin retaliated, but it wasn't as hard as the two veterans thought it would.

"Um… if you don't mind me asking…" Robert cleared his throat. "What's with you and the Time Signature Oli had before he got eliminated?"

Colin (Minor): "Do I even have to tell him?" He sighs dramatically. "Guess I'll just tell them. They're veterans anyway, so obviously they're gonna ignore me after this."

The rather dramatic boy sighed quietly as he looked at the two veteran in front of him. "So, back during the second day, Ryder and I found this… thing hiding in the bushes just in front of the entrance. We went towards it and turned out to be an Eighth Note."

"An Eighth Note?" Robert raised an eyebrow. "I… I don't even remember hearing that until you brought it up."

"Yes. I decided to keep it and use it the day before it expires." Colin continued, occasionally staring at the small holes of his shirt. "Then the lyrics making challenge happened and that was where I lost it. Me and Ryder entered the dance practice room the next day to find it but it was no use."

Gabe had his finger jutting his chin in thought. "So maybe… Oli found it and kept it to himself?"

"Seems like it." Colin nodded. "Then he used it on the previous elimination, ended up being a Time Signature, and the rest is history."

Robert widened his eyes. "That… makes a lot more sense. So… why are you so bummed over it or something?"

"Listen, Robert." Colin said, getting Robert's attention. "I don't if I should feel grateful that he saved me from elimination, hell even I feel kind of guilty that he lost because he is a way even better player than I am. I should've been eliminated during that time."

Gabe opened his mouth to say something but none came out as he was totally confused at this point. "So… are you saying that… you want to give up on this season? I'm sorry but… that's just how I understood it."

Colin shook his head. "No… you're not getting my point. But then again, I'm not good at expressing my thoughts." He sighed once more as he headed out for the door, confusing both veterans even more.

Music Room

Everything was quiet in the music room. Only a few of the lights were turned on as footsteps were faintly heard.

The view cleared up a bit, as the footsteps heard earlier belong to no one other than the fandom girl, Sami. She walked slowly, admiring every single instrument. Upon looking towards a violin, something came into her mind.

"Wanna try and play the violin?" A girl asked, holding up a violin with one hand, and the bow on the other.

"Sure!" Another voice was heard, turning out to be Sami. "Is it hard to play it, Ashley?"

The first girl, presumably Ashley, shook her head. "Once you memorize all the notes and chords, it won't be so hard."

Sami just raised her eyebrow in confusion.

Ashley let out a giggle. "Really! It looks intimidating at first but trust me, it won't be so hard."

Sami kept her eyes glued to the violin as a tear slipped down her cheek. The sight of the violin made her remember her sister until that horrible day that came after that-

"Sami?"

The girl quickly wiped her cheek with her hand. She could already recognize the voice, and although she hated it, some kind of hate built up within her that even she couldn't understand any reason behind it.

"What do you want, Sybil?" Sami asked sternly, turning back to see her teammate that was indeed Sybil.

"Um… are you okay?"

"Do I look okay?" Sami asked once more, but her voice seemed to be choking up. "You know what Sybil, it's just really hard to see you. I don't know why, but if all those coincidences are true, then… you know what, did you even know that your driver was drunk in the first place? That the crash took up my sister's life? That even I got a spleen removal because of it?"

As Sami choked up, Sybil already couldn't take it anymore and cried. "Well, do you know that I quit my job because of it? That I was placed in a critical condition and thought that I would die? That even I broke up with Pierre because of that? I'm even afraid to apologize to him..."

The two girls stared at each other, both were already on the verge of sobbing.

"But Sami… just… please don't take out all your anger on me." Sybil pleaded.

Sami just shook her head and ran away, crying.

Hallway

Zack and Pierre were currently talking just outside the hallways by the music room.

"You know what Zack, I am never gonna go back into the acting career ever again." Pierre sighed.

Zack let out a chuckle. "Is this because of the film last time?"

"Yup." Pierre nodded. "I wouldn't call it traumatic exactly, I just don't want to be remembered because of that."

The theater actor widened his eyes, but sympathized as well. "Oh, I feel you. Back when I was younger, I was remembered for being so nervous and ended up pissing myself."

"Oof to that." Pierre laughed a bit. "You know, it really is nice to have a conversation with another actor."

Zack leaned up against the wall. "There's a difference. You're a movie actor and I was a theater actor. We both have our own experiences in acting."

Suddenly, Sami ran past them. Zack widened his eyes and ran after her. Pierre also saw this and went in the music room where he saw Sami went out.

"Sami, wait!" Zack called out as he went after the fandom girl. He finally caught up just before the lobby. "What's wrong?"

"Everything is wrong, Zack. I feel terrible. I'm a horrible person." Sami sobbed as Zack wrapped his arms around her for a hug.

"No you're not." Zack retaliated. "You're just making mistakes. Everyone does."

Sami didn't respond as she kept crying on Zack's arms.

Pierre on the other hand, ran into the music room, and found Sybil on the floor, all curled up. "Syb?"

The former gave out no response, just a bunch of sniffles. When she heard the familiar nickname, she turned back to see Pierre, who bent down and held both of her hands.

Sybil felt her lips quivering. "I… I-I'm sorry…"

"Sorry? Sorry for what?"

"For leaving you." She teared up again on the last syllable as Pierre, similar to Zack, pulled her in for a hug.

"Shh… it's okay."

Pierre and Zack (Minor): "You think they had a fight?" Zack asked.

Pierre nodded. "Definitely."

Day 9, 12:00 PM

CHALLENGE 4.2: Make It Up (Location: Auditorium)

By noon, everyone was called back into the auditorium for the musical challenge as usual. The hosts got up on stage, but Godfrey seemed to be looking around.

"Where are those two trainees you said earlier?" He asked.

"They'll be here any minute." Blaineley responded as she checked her watch.

As soon as the cast was settled down, Chris took the opportunity to clear his throat and begin. "Welcome back, contestants! We have already tackled a singing challenge and an acting challenge! Now it's time that we tackle another aspect of this season: dancing!"

Some of the contestants, mainly the ones who aren't very good at dancing had worried expressions. The dancers however, look more excited than ever.

"Both teams will be having a team captain to guide you." Brea announced. "But take note that these team captains are not from your team, nor they are contestants of this season."

Adala (Major): "And I was already ready to rumble."

"Instead," Don turned his attention to the entrance of the auditorium, then back at the cast. "The team captains for this episode are trainees from Fresh Entertainment in Chicago! Please welcome, Yves and Jianne!"

Two girls entered the auditorium, both waving to the cast as they joined the hosts on the stage.

The girl on the left gave a small smile towards the contestants. She looked about 5'8 ft in height, sporting a rather skinny pair figure that compliments her Asian ethnicity. Her black hair was straight, sleek, and long, reaching towards her waist and her eyes were a deep shade of black. She wore a white cross-strapped sleeveless top tucked under a navy blue skirt, with a matching belt around her waist. She also had on a cream colored see-through cardigan that has the sleeves reaching up to her elbows, wearing this on top of her white top. Dark blue sandals were also on her feet for footwear. For accessory, she had on a silver butterfly necklace with matching dangling earrings. Judging by her looks, she seems to be a rather… blunt person.

The other girl had a… much different aura than the first one, a rather egoistical aura, perhaps due to the bemused smirk on her face that looks like she has a plan on her sleeve. Around the same height as the first girl with peachy skin, she had a rather inverted triangle type of build, but as skinny as the other girl, maybe a teensy bit thicker(?). Her eyes were also black, but they seemed more intimidating than the other girl's. Her straight hair was luscious and thick, just passing a few inches down her shoulders. Although her hair was jet black, you could see that the tips were dyed a darker shade of blue with her hairline going off to the side past the middle. She wore a white mock neck shirt with "Be Yourself" printed galaxy-style. On top of that, she wears a black leather jacket. She also wears a black short skirt with a chained belt, black tights, and black combat boots.

"Team Major," Brea looked at the teens. "You will be getting Yves." She gestured to the Asian looking girl. "She is more skilled in contemporary since she is a shadow dancer and a ballerina at the same time so do expect your dance to be more… contemporary."

Pierre (Minor): "Shame that we're probably getting that scary looking girl. That Yves chick looked as hot as Sybil when I first saw her~"

Blaineley came in, smacking the back of his head.

"Ow! Okay, I'm sorry!"

Don looked at the other teens. "Team Minor, you will be getting Jianne." He gestured to the egoistic looking girl. "She specializes in a bit more hip-hop-ish kind of dances, but she also does contemporary and is really good at mixing things up… according to Brea."

"Now, I've handed out to Jianne and Yves the songs that you will be using to put your own choreography. These two girls will guide you and give you tips for your choreo." Chris explained. "But remember, they are not allowed to perform with you later. So it's best to follow their advice and… whatnot."

May (Major): "As a dancer, I think that we could definitely pull this off. Too bad Lyle isn't here, he really slays contemporary concepts."

Toxa (Major): "This is kinda hard to sabotage, maybe I'll let this pass."

"Moving on," Don cleared his throat. His eyes never took away the sight of the cast, mainly on the more… troublemaking castmates. "We have assigned two songs for each team. One for a group dance, and the other for a pair dance. You only need to do a portion of the song, but the performance must at least last two minutes. For the pair dance, you only need one pair to perform it. You can make your own choreography, it's up to you what kind of theme or style you put to it."

"If your song comes from a film, go nuts since you don't have to follow the exact same thing." Brea added. "Your goal here is to make it seem original. You can use some parts from other choreographies but you have to make some of your own steps."

"Does anyone have questions?" Chris asked. Several people raised their hands but decided to ignore them. Because he is Chris. "Alright! Major team will practice in the dance practice room. Minor team will practice here. Be ready tomorrow evening for your performance!"

Godfrey raised an eyebrow as the contestants scattered away. "Chris, they had questions."

"So?"

Godfrey (Guest): He sighed. "All he said was so. Well, who cares. They're probably used to him doing that."

As the two teams left, Chef approached the interns.

"Interns, your job for today is just to help the teams pick out their costumes." Chef explained. "Mara and Ulysses, you two can help the Major team. Eden and Dustin will help out the Minor team."

"Ahem!" Maya called out. "Are you forgetting something?"

"Oh yeah." Chef snapped his fingers. "Maya, you can clean the auditorium so that everything will be tidy before the performance tomorrow.

Maya (Intern): She was currently seen swearing all kinds of obscenities.

Mara (Intern): She buried her face in her hands frustrated. Why did I have to partner up with Ulysses out of everyone?"

Major Team (with Yves) - Dance Practice Room

The Major team all gathered up inside the dance practice room, as Yves stood up in the front.

"The hosts have given us… 'Puttin on the Ritz' for the group dance." She read blandly to the team. "While 'Cheek to Cheek' is our pair dance."

Some the Major teams members weren't sure on how to react, mostly because they have probably never heard of these songs before.

"Hmmm…" Yves examined the teens. "Who among you are dancers?"

Some of the teens, namely May, Antoinette, and Therion raised their hands.

Yves looked at them carefully. "We can have only two of you do the pair dance. So…"

"I'll step out." Antoinette volunteered. "I think May can pull this off better than I can."

Yves widened her eyes, a bit surprised to see how easy that went. "Then I guess we can have you two do the pair dance… May and Therion, right?" She asked, making sure to not get their names wrong.

"Yup." Therion subtly nodded.

"Then it's settled." Yves smiled. "We can get started with the group choreography first. I have a choreo in mind that we used to perform, but if anyone else has suggestions, just let me know."

The teens watched as Yves brought out her phone, playing a video regarding the choreography she was talking about earlier. The dance seemed a bit slow, but since everyone dancing was in sync, it came out pretty flawless.

Beatrice (Major): "Looks like the hosts weren't kidding when they said that Yves was a good dancer, it already looks like she's a professional."

Once the video was done, Toxa raised her hand.

"Yes?"

"What costumes are we going to use?"

"I think we should let the interns help us decide on that but we'll get to it later." Yves said.

Toxa sulked on her seat.

Toxa (Major): "Drat. A wardrobe malfunction sounded like a perfect idea and now it's no use."

Both Mag and Carter noticed this action from Toxa. The former whispered something that the camera was unable to pick up to the latter, but the latter nodded anyway.

Toxa saw the action of the two. "Are you two a thing?"

"What? Fuck no." Mag spat.

"We're just talking. Something the matter?" Carter asked. Toxa rolled her eyes and looked away.

Rival was also witnessing the tension between the team. "So… are we gonna start now, because Misha has Yves' phone."

Misha approached the group (minus Therion and May), and indeed had Yves' phone on her hand. "The bitch says that we can use this choreo for the group shit. She's just gonna teach Therion and May something."

Ryder nodded. "We can get started on the formations. I can dance a little bit, and I know Antoinette, May, and Therion are the best dancers of our team for now so I think we should be in front."

He grabbed Antoinette's arm, dragging her a bit to the front on the left side. He also gestured to Toxa, Carter, Mag, Rival, and Misha to stand behind them. "Me, Antoinette, May, Therion, and Beatrice will be here in the front."

"Sounds like a plan." Misha added, pressing the play button on the phone. The video began playing as the teens tried to do the dance. After they tried imitating in the video, Misha handed Yves her phone so that the group could decide their own choreography.

Meanwhile, Yves, Therion, and May were on the other side of the dance practice room just near the door. The trainee played another video on her phone and showed the choreo towards the two.

"Ah, that doesn't seem so hard." Therion commented.

May nodded as well. "Yeah, but… you're still gonna teach us, right Yves?"

"Yes, of course I will." She nodded, gesturing to Therion. "I'll teach you first if that's okay."

"No problem." Therion smiled at her, taking both of her hands. "Where do we start?"

"Let's just follow what's in the video." Yves quickly suggested as May played the video. As it started, May also began to analyze Yves' moves as she will be dancing in her place.

Just outside the door, Ulysses and Mara were about to enter. However, Mara stopped herself as… a look of jealousy grew on her face.

Ulysses sighed. "Ugh, what is it?" He groaned. As soon as he looked through the window and saw what Mara was seeing, Therion dancing with Yves, he rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Just stop ogling your eyes on him already, okay? You two are done."

Mara turned around and slapped him directly across his face, causing Ulysses to gasp in surprise. "You shut the fuck up. Therion and I may have gotten into an argument, but that doesn't mean we're not together anymore. Shove it up your ass." She spat and turned to walk away from him, but Ulysses grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"You're not going anywhere." He hissed. Mara gulped and looked over to the window and saw Yves and May dancing this time, which only made her sigh.

Minor Team (with Jianne) - Auditorium

In the Minor team, the teens have gathered up in a circle as they watched a video of a group dance.

"So yeah, One from A Chorus Line will be your group dance." Jianne announced as she got up. "Unless if any of you wants to change it."

No one opposed to the decision that the hosts have given them. Arreis however, had a question. "Hey, are we girls gonna wear… those?" She asked, gesturing to the girls' costume in the video. The costume was like a leotard of some sorts, with the legs exposed.

Jianne gave a grimacing look. "Hell no, you guys are all gonna be wearing the same thing. I don't want any of you to be uncomfortable with those… bathing suits as your costumes… or whatever the hell they are… especially the conservative ones here."

Some of the girls sighed in relief.

"So we're all wearing suits?" Zack asked.

"Yup." Jianne nodded. "Most likely black suits. And matching top hats. I don't think we'll be able to find enough gold costumes in time."

Everyone became silent after that.

"...So, do you guys want to start practicing the choreography using the top hats or later?"

"Shouldn't we think of formations, first?" Gabe suggested. "So that we wouldn't be crowded in one area."

Jianne just nodded. "Well, okay. But since this is some sort of line-dancing, the formation is obviously going to be a line. I suggest having your team's dancers in the center.

"I'll take the center." Adala volunteered. "I'm already familoar with the choreography, so I can help teaching it."

Jianne sighed in relief. "Good. So… if you think you're kinda mediocre in dancing, then I suggest positioning yourself on the side."

"On it." Pierre said, heading off way to the right. "I suck at it so I'll be staying here."

"Oh wait… forgot to tell you guys the pair dance." Jianne facepalmed. "The song is called Roundtable Rival by Lindsey Stirling."

The girls nodded, but the boys were snickering.

"Is there something that I need to know?"

"Oh sorry." Robert snorted. "It's just that the title sounded funny."

"Not really." Colin retaliated.

"Yeah, whatever." Jianne rolled her eyes. "I think the two of you should do the dance." She added, pointing towards Sami and Gordon.

"I'm fine with that." Sami answered.

"Same." Gordon nodded. "The dance isn't too hard, right?"

"Nah, you just need some guns and a violin according to google." Vanessa answered, causing Sybil to snicker a bit. "What?"

"Oh, nothing." Sybil giggled.

"Yeah… let's worry about that pair dance later." Jianne ordered as everyone continued to practice for the group dance.

Day 10, 5:00 PM

Major Team - Dance Practice Room

Fast forward to the next day, we can already see the cast finishing up with their practices by the afternoon.

With Team Major, they were already adding their finishing touches in their movements. As soon as the music stopped, they all sighed in relief.

"Ugh, we're finally done." Carter sighed, sitting on the floor. "I might even say that this is even worse than rapping."

"Says you if you're passion isn't dancing." May replied, a chuckle escaping her lips after her comment. "The dance is actually easy once you think about it."

Yves blinked as she got a text message from Chris. "I have to go. Chris needs me and Jianne on the 3rd floor. You guys can continue practicing if you like or you guys can rest. It's up to you." She quickly said before heading out."

"Alright so should we practice again?" Rival suggested.

"NO!"

Everyone turned to Misha as she was the one who shouted.

"I mean… later. Just give us a break okay?" Misha said as everyone facepalmed.

"Yeah, let's just have a water break or something then come back here." Ryder suggested.

"I'm with you on that one." Mag nodded, as she grabbed a water bottle from her bag.

"I'll go get some water on the cafeteria." Beatrice said and left the dance practice room with Arreis following her.

Toca went over to the side, sat down, leaned over to wall and shut her eyes. "I'll just sleep. Yell if you need me."

"Okay?" Therion responded as everyone was doing their own thing for now.

Minor Team - Auditorium

Jianne made a rather confused look as she watched the Minor Team dance to 'One'. They also had their top hats on, since it was required for the choreography.

"Wait, stop."

The teens stopped almost instantly.

"You guys were in sync earlier. What happened?" She asked.

Robert looked down on the floor. "Sorry, I kinda got distracted.

Jianne modded, but her stern and confused look remained on her face. Suddenly, her phone vibrated on her hand, revealing a text message from Chris. "Ugh, I have to go. Just polish all your moves for now. The pair dancers later can also practice if you like. Make sure nothing weird happens while I'm gone." She ordered and ran out hurriedly.

As soon as Jianne left, the teens all looked at each other, tired from dancing all over again.

"So…" Vanessa glanced at everyone. "Should we start from the top?"

"Yeah, let's just practice before Jianne gets back." Zack agreed.

The teens all went back to their first position. They also used the speakers this time to play their music.

Halfway throughout their practice, things were going pretty well.

Until...

"And one two three, kick!" Adala instructed, as she was in the front. "Change position!"

"Watch out!" Gabe shrieked from behind as they all collided into each other without cue. Unknowingly, Gabe accidentally crashed into Adala from behind, causing her to fall off the stage, landing on her right leg.

"OW!" Adala screeched in pain.

"Oh my god, Adala!" Sami widened her eyes and rushed to Adala. "Are you okay?"

"I think I broke my leg…" the improviser groaned.

"Oh fuck… Adala, I'm so sorry, this is all my fault." Gabe apologized, growing even more nervous that they might have to medically evacuate their teammate.

"We should get her to the medic." Colin suggested. "She'll be fine there."

"I'll come with you, Colin." Pierre offered and the two helped Adala up and exited the auditorium to find the medic.

"I'll go tell Jianne." Gordon suggested but Arreis grabbed his arm.

"No. We can't let her know about this. We might get disqualified." Said the veteran.

"Disqualified?" Sybil retaliated in disbelief. "She's injured, Arreis! We have to let Jianne know somehow! She might even give us a solution."

"Thing is guys," Sami looked at everyone. "Adala is going to be in the center for most of the time. Without her, all of our formations are gonna be messed up."

Gabe smacked his forehead. "Oh my god, what have I done…"

"Gabe, listen. It's not your fault." Zack rubbed his back. "It was an accident. Accidents happen all the time."

"Yes, but how are we supposed to fix this now?" Gabe said, "We only have less than an hour left before we get into our costumes and prepare for everything."

Robert sighed. "At least Sami's doing the pair dance with Gordon. This would be a mess if Adala was supposed to do it."

"Well, we can't just adjust every single formation, right?" Sami asked. "Everything will look messy if we try to arrange it."

"Jianne arranged the formations, so it's gonna be hard if we try to fix them up ourselves." Sybil added. "...Wait, I have an idea."

"What?" Arreis asked.

"Why don't we have Jianne fill out Adala's spot?" Sybil suggested.

Sami smacked her forehead. "Sybil, have you been listening? The hosts clearly told us that Yves and Jianne aren't allowed to perform with us later. It's gonna make us disqualified if we have her perform."

"Well, let's just have her make her look like Adala or something." Vanessa brought up. "If we can't, we'll just have her wear a mask to cover up her whole face."

"The choreo is really tiring, Vanessa." Zack opposed. "We already panted so hard at the end, it will be ten times harder to breathe if we have her use a mask."

Sami sighed. "Well, I guess we have no choice."

"Wait, we're seriously doing this?" Arreis widened her eyes.

"Jianne memorized all of Adala's positions. The performance won't look so whack if she took her place. They'll never know who is the 'masked dancer' anyway." Robert added.

Gordon cleared his throat. "Let's just wait for Pierre and Colin so we can know about Adala's condition. If she's in a terrible state, then we'll have to let Jianne take her place without the hosts knowing."

"I'll be the one to tell her later if that's the case." Vanessa offered up.

Gabe (Minor): He was seen almost beating himself up. "Ugh Gabe, why are you so stupid! You just cost your whole team!"

Night 10, 6:45 PM

Auditorium

The hosts were now back on the stage around an hour later, getting reading to witness the performances from the teens.

"Good evening everyone, and welcome back to Total Drama Act II: Musical Power!" Chef said.

"Right now, we have fifteen minutes before we witness our first performance." Don announced. "But before that, please welcome back our beloved judges! They will each be voting for the team that has the most eye-catching performance of the evening. Whichever team gets the most votes is saved from elimination."

Leticia, Lee, Evan, Enrique, and Holly all entered the auditorium in that order as a round of applause was heard. They also went on their respective seats in the judge's area.

"Let's also welcome back our dance mentor, Hali!" Blaineley announced as Hali entered the auditorium, standing off to the side.

"So for tonight, our contestants will be doing dance performances." Godfrey announced towards the crowd. "One group performance, as well as one pair dance, making it two performances per team."

"They were also guided by two of our top trainees from Fresh Entertainment, Yves Chiu and Jianne Winthrop." Brea added. "They will be joining us later after the performances done by each team."

"Oh and while we are waiting for our teams, let's have you watch this really long and boring movie!" Chris yelled obnoxiously as the screen behind them began playing a… really long and boring movie.

The hosts all facepalmed.

Backstage Room #1

The Major team were currently prepping up for their performance. The camera pans to the teens of Team Major as they were all busy.

Toxa was looking on the mirror, admiring her attire. She was wearing a long, knee-length ocean blue dress that shows off one of her arms while the other was concealed. It also had two holes on each side of her stomach area. The neck of her dress ends just before her chest were a pearl necklace was seen above it as an accessory.

"Wow, you're looking sharp." Misha teased. The other punk girl wore a purple dress with an opening on one side of her leg.

"Same with you." Toxa chuckled.

"I don't really know about you guys, but I think that this is gonna be our best performance yet." Mag commented as she straightened out her silk, black one shoulder strap sleeveless dress. It almost looked like a Greek gown; complete with a turquoise sash at the waist.

"It depends." May squeaked as Mara helped her put on the lily flower pin in her hair. May's outfit consist of a white strapless dress with matching white pumps.

"Steady, May." Mara said as she attached the pin on the girl's hair. "If you move too much, it's gonna mess up."

"Sorry."

"You guys are looking fancy." Beatrice complimented everyone. The timid seer was wearing a vintage pink cocktail dress that looked fantastic along with her pink hair. "And then there's Rival."

The contestants all chuckled at Rival as he was just casually chilling on the side. He just wore a red shirt with a black leather jacket over it, blue jeans, yellow gloves, and black Nike's. What's even more weird was that he had dark shades on.

"That's your outfit?" Carter asked Rival while he fixed his tuxedo. "I thought we were all supposed to wear formal clothes."

"So what? Screw fancy clothes." He joked, prompting a few chuckles from his team.

"Can't blame him if he's being Rival." Ryder added, adjusting his black tuxedo which almost looks like Carter's but the only difference was that Ulysses gave him a blue tie that he could use.

Antoinette was straightening out her hair in the mirror. She wore a shimmery, sleeveless yellow dress that reaches past her knees, along with gold earrings on her ears.

As she looked at the mirror, she caught Mara glancing occassionally at Therion, who wore a single breasted black suit with a red undershirt underneath, black pants, black leather shoes, a black scarf, and a black and red fedora on his head. She also caught Ulysses sending glares to both of them.

Antoinette (Major): "Am I sensing some sort of love triangle between the three of them?"

Mara (Intern): "Omg… Therion just looks so… I don't even know what to say anymore…" she said as her face went bright red. "I just really miss him, though…"

Suddenly, Godfrey opened the door scaring everyone so hard that even Rival's shades went down towards his nose. "You guys are gonna perform first." He said to the team. He also glanced towards Yves who was helping them arrange their clothes. "Yves, have you seen Jianne? I haven't seen her since that meeting a while ago."

"I haven't actually. Why?" Yves asked.

"Just hurry up and I'll tell you." Godfrey ordered and left, leaving Yves confused. "Major, get ready. The hosts will call you any minute."

"Alright, let's set this stage on fire!" Arreis yelled cheesily as she was the first to leave.

Backstage Room #2

In the other backstage room, the teens of the Minor team were fixing themselves up… frantically than the other team.

"Where are Colin and Pierre?" Gordon asked nervously. "It's been a while now."

"I have no idea." Ryder sighed as he adjusted his black suit and tie. Actually everyone from the Minor team is wearing black suits and matching ties, even the girls (of course they wore women's black suits lol).

All of a sudden, Colin and Pierre rushed into the room, panting heavily.

"Is there any news about Adala?" Sami asked worriedly, not hoping for the worst to happen.

"Yes, but it's bad news." Pierre said sadly.

Everyone widened their eyes and paid attention towards both Pierre and Colin.

"Adala's eliminated. Her leg condition got even worse so the medical team had to bring her to a hospital." Colin informed them as he sighed. "She said that we really have to move on without her."

"Oh my god…" Arreis panicked.

Sybil sighed. "What do we do now?"

"That's it, I'm gonna find Jianne. You guys find a mask over there by the costumes area. Hurry." Vanessa ordered as she rushed out of the room already in her costume.

"Wait, we can't let Jianne know! What have you guys been thinking!?" Pierre shot. "Come on Colin, let's get dressed."

"...yes." Colin responded as the two boys rushed in to wear their costumes.

In just less than five minutes, Vanessa quickly came back with a completely baffled Jianne.

"What in the world is going on here?" She questioned, the stern look returning back on her face.

Vanessa rolled her eyes as she tossed the trainee the same suit costume that Adala was supposed to wear. "Shit happened, that's what."

"Yeah, Adala got injured, now we had no idea with who to put in the center." Zack answered, handing Jianne a mask. "But since you were the one who arranged the new choreo for us, then we have to give it to you."

Jianne widened her eyes and scoffed. "Are you kidding me? You guys want to get disqualified? There's no way I'd let myself do that." She said, shooing the mask away. "Better get a low score than be disqualified completely."

"Come on Jianne, please." Gabe pleaded. "They won't even know."

The trainee rolled her eyes and grabbed the costume and the mask. "Fine. Whatever. But you guys are so grounded if they found out."

"Hurry up, Team Major is about to perform." Robert said as they all heard the noise coming from the stage.

Auditorium

Meanwhile, the camera pans back into the auditorium where the hosts (plus Godfrey and Yves) were already complete. However, they were seemingly having a problem.

"Where's Jianne?" Godfrey asked the other trainee.

Yves rolled her eyes. "I told you, I can't find her! Who knows what she's up to!"

Blaineley sighed dramatically, almost pushing Yves off the stage. "Get out of here and go stand over there until you find Jianne."

"Fuck you Blaineley." Yves swore before rushing out of the stage.

Chris cleared his throat. "Ahem… welcome back everyone to Act II! We will now be witnessing the dance performance of… Team Major!"

Everyone applauded as the hosts ran out from the stage, cueing the backstage crew to open up the curtains. The teens from Team Major were all seen in their respective positions, ready to start their performance as a jazzy trumpet sound was heard in the beginning.

Performance #26 (Major)

Dance Performance: Puttin' On The Ritz (Fred Astaire), Cheek To Cheek (Fred Astaire)

The teens all looked down towards the floor, but in a very fashionable manner.

"Have you seen the well-to-do, up and down Park Avenue

On that famous thoroughfare, with their noses in the air

High hats and Arrow collars, white spats and lots of dollars

Spending every dime, for a wonderful time"

By this time after they did the "walking" choreo, they rushed into their second positions and did a tango-ish-waltz with their partners.

"If you're blue and you don't know where to go to

Why don't you go where fashion sits

Puttin' on the ritz

Different types who wear a day coat, pants with stripes

And cutaway coat, perfect fits

Puttin' on the ritz"

As the refrain continued, they made poses that looked satisfying towards the audience (despite everyone doing something different), probably due to their formation.

"Dressed up like a million dollar trouper

Trying mighty hard to look like Gary Cooper (super duper)

Come let's mix where Rockefellers walk with sticks

Or "umbrellas" in their mitts

Puttin' on the ritz"

The finale kept up, as they were repeating some of the choreography from the verses in sync.

"If you're blue and you don't know where to go to

Why don't you go where fashion sits

(Puttin' on the ritz)

(Puttin' on the ritz)

(Puttin' on the ritz)"

Everyone leaned on each other for ther final pose. The audience applauded as the teens quickly ran out of the stage, except for May and Therion. They both looked nervously at Yves, as she gave a thumbs-up to encourage them. They got into their positions as the pair dance began with May doing a solo part.

"Heaven... I'm in heaven,

And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak.

And I seem to find the happiness I seek,

When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek."

May quickly went over to the side as Therion made his way to the stage and did his solo choreography.

"Heaven... I'm in heaven,

And the cares that hung around me through the week,

Seem to vanish like a gambler's lucky streak,

When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek."

Later on, May joined him back on stage and did a waltz.

"Oh, I love to climb a mountain,

And to reach the highest peak.

But it doesn't thrill me half as much

As dancing cheek to cheek.

Oh, I love to go out fishing

In a river or a creek.

But I don't enjoy it half as much

As dancing cheek to cheek."

By the climax of the song, Therion lifted May up and spun her around (much to Mara's dismay) as the final part entered.

"Dance with me! I want my arms about you.

The charms about you

Will carry me through to…"

At this rate, the whole Major team joined in, going in random pairs as they did the same choreography the earlier pair did.

"Heaven... I'm in heaven,

And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak.

And I seem to find the happiness I seek,

When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek."

They all bowed, cueing the end of their performance as the curtains closed. Applauses can also be heard from everyone watching.

Godfrey went up on the stage. "Thank you Team Major for a splendid performance! Will Team Minor will be able to achieve the same level? We'll find out next so please give a round of applause for Team Minor!"

Godfrey (Guest): "I can really pass now as a host, right?" He chuckled.

The curtains opened as we now see Team Minor on position holding their top hats to the point where they were covering their faces.

Performance #27 (Minor)

Dance Performance: One (A Chorus Line), Roundtable Rival (Lindsey Stirling)

The song started as the girls exited the center, giving the boys the spotlight as Gordon led them.

"One singular sensation

Every little step she takes.

One thrilling combination

Every move that she makes.

One smile and suddenly nobody else will do;

You know you'll never be lonely with you know who.

One moment in her presence

And you can forget the rest.

For the girl is second best

To none,

Son.

Ooooh! Sigh! Give her your attention.

Do…I…really have to mention?

She's the One!"

The boys smoothly left the center as the girls made their way in, with the masked dancer leading them.

"One singular sensation

Every little step she takes.

One thrilling combination

Every move that she makes.

One smile and suddenly nobody else will do;

You know you'll never be lonely with you know who.

One moment in her presence

And you can forget the rest.

For the girl is second best

To none,

Son.

Ooooh! Sigh! Give her your attention.

Do…I…really have to mention?

She's the One!"

Everyone gathered up once more in a straight line as they did the original choreo.

"One moment in her presence

And you can forget the rest.

For the girl is second best

To none,

Son.

Ooooh! Sigh! Give her your attention.

Do…I…really have to mention?

She's the One"

They all switched their formations, a bit anxious since this was the part where the incident happened, but managed to pull things off.

"One singular sensation

Every little step she takes.

One thrilling combination

Every move that she makes.

One smile and suddenly nobody else will do;

You know you'll never be lonely with you know who.

One moment in her presence

And you can forget the rest.

For the girl is second best

To none,

Son.

Ooooh! Sigh! Give her your attention.

Do…I…really have to mention?

She's the One!"

The Minor team all did their last steps for their finale.

"One!

One!

One!

One!"

Everyone bowed as the audience applauded once more and exited just like how Team Major did. Sami was given a prop violin while Gordon was given some prop guns as they now did the dance-off choreography of 'Roundtable Rival'. Halfway throughout the performance, the rest of the team joined, still in their first costumes. The girls were on Sami's side while the boys were in Gordon's side.

As soon as the Minor team had finally finished their performance, everyone gave them a round of applause. Soon, they were joined by the Major team on stage for the judges' words.

Once everyone was quiet, Lee cleared his throat.

"Everyone did marvelous in this challenge. I think this is the episode where you guys gave it your all. However, my vote belongs to team Major. Minor, you did good but… there was just something lacking." Lee explained.

The Major team gave silent cheers while the Minor teams all looked at each other nervously.

"My vote will go to Minor." Leticia declared, looking down at her notes. "Major, you did splendid, but I personally prefer Minor's performance since it's probably because of the organized formations. I just think the formations are a bit messy. But that is just my opinion, so good job to everyone."

All teens looked pretty confident at this point as everyone was equal.

"Major," Evan cleared his throat. "I really love the theme of your performances. Minor, I personally think that your performance theme was all over the place. However, I think Minor did better in executing the performance. But my vote goes to Major."

The Major team grew even confident at this rate, they hope that they would succeed despite the mishap in the previous episode.

It was now Enrique's turn to give some insights. "Team Minor will have my vote. I find your performance more eye catching. Don't get me wrong, Major team, you did an awesome job with your performance. I just prefer Minor's teamwork a bit more."

Both teams were equal once more. It all comes down to the wild vote which belonged to Holly.

"First of all…"

At this rate, everyone was anticipating for the worst.

"...all of you have impressed me." Holly stated.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as the elder judge continued. "The synchronizations were smooth and fluid. I am also pleased with the changes to the choreography. Major props to Yves and Jianne for that."

Yves (Trainee): "Where is Jianne?"

"Major," Holly turned to the Major team. "Your dance steps were so simple, yet so precise. It felt like all of you were moving as one. All of you could even pass as a dance group. The paie dance was incredibly beautiful as well. So… congrats."

The Major team all cheered. Although no one knows who received the vote, they were at least glad to have some positive feedback from Mrs. Rosewood herself.

"Now for Minor," Her gaze turned to the teens of Team Minor. "Your execution was perfect. Your pair dance was dramatic yet flowy, in a way. 'One' as a group dance is very iconic and I am pleased that you have made your own version of the choreography. Your center is incredibly strong as well." She added, turning towards… the masked dancer.

Jianne (Trainee): "For the love of everything, please don't even ask who was the center…"

"So for that, Minor will have my vote. Congrats, you are the winners of this challenge" Holly confirmed, loads of different expressions were seen. Even Team Minor was about to cheer but they had to stop as Holly began to speak again. "Minor… your center is a masked dancer. Please, don't be shy to reveal yourself. You have such a strong stage presence that needs to be known."

Everyone in Team Minor did a 180 and extremely grew nervous.

Jianne (Trainee): "FUCKING FUCK. THIS IS BULLSHIT."

"Uhh…" Arreis stammered and quickly ran in front of Jianne. "She's just… really really really shy so I think it's best to give her some space, right?"

The judges grew suspicious at the sudden movement.

"Yeah, so… maybe we shouldn't…" Zack stammered. "You know, force her to do this?"

Behind Arreis and Zack, the rest of the team were arguing.

"What do we do!?" Pierre whispered.

"Get Jianne out of here?" Colin suggested.

Vanessa rolled her eyes. "No way, things are gonna be obvious."

Sybil widened her eyes. "Make someone else wear the mask!"

At this point, everyone in the team was fighting for the mask as Jianne struggled to keep the mask intact. However, she failed as the mask was sent flying off the stage.

The teens of Team Minor (including Jianne) all looked at each other in horror. Even the judges were extremely surprised at this, as well the Major team, the hosts, and mostly Yves.

Yves (Trainee): "So that's where she was."

Holly seemed the most displeased out of everyone.

She scoffed. "Hmph. No wonder why your center is strong. You just violated the rules by having the trainee perform with you. What was that supposed to be?! What were you all thinking?! Who is supposed to be your center?!"

Everyone flinched at how Holly reacted.

"Umm…" Sami cleared her throat. "Adala was supposed to be in the center but… she got injured during our practice and she was…" she gulped. "...medically evacuated a few minutes before the challenge began."

Chris widened his eyes. "So does that mean we only have twenty contestants right now?"

"Yes." Godfrey nodded. "And-"

"Minor team, you're disqualified." Holly stated sternly. "You disappoint me. My vote will be going to Major instead."

The Major team didn't really cheer as they felt bad for the other team. I mean, who wouldn't since they just got yelled at?

"Minor team…" Don turned to them. "Evem though you won the advantage last challenge, your advantage has been removed because you have been disqualified. Major team is the winner of this challenge. We will see you all in the elimination ceremony."

Everyone (especially team Minor) looked down as they left, with no one saying a word.

ONE HOUR BEFORE ELIMINATION - TEAM MINOR

The camera pans to Team Minor gathered up in the boys' bedroom. They were all sitting on a circle, implying that they were having some kind of team meeting.

Most of them were all staring at the ground as no one was willing to speak up to start the meeting. They were all either caught up in their own thoughts or just plain nervous to do so.

Finally, Gabe took a deep breath and made his own announcement.

"Everyone, just vote for me instead." He sighed. "It's my fault that Adala got injured and was medically evacuated. It only makes sense if I'm the one who's going."

"Gabe," Robert said to his long time friend. "Our team needs you. Really. It'll be hard if you're gone."

Some others like Zack and Gordon nodded their heads in agreement.

"Maybe we should throw another name for backup?" Vanessa suggested.

"Well, why should we eliminate someone that hasn't done anything wrong?" Colin questioned.

"Colin's right." Gabe sighed, the veteran running a hand through his hair. "Really guys, no need to worry too much about me."

"We're really sorry about this, Gabe." Sami apologized.

"It really isn't your fault." Pierre added. "Accidents happen all the time."

Zack sighed. "Are we really sure about this, guys?"

"Not really." Gordon shook his head.

"So… I guess this is it?" Sybil softly asked.

Gabe nodded sadly. "Yeah, I'm sorry guys."

Arreis (Minor): "You know what, we could really use a Sixteenth Note right now. Or better yet, a Whole Note. Not a Whole Rest, mind you."

Night 10, 8:30 PM

ELIMINATION CEREMONY #4

Night came by pretty quickly as now, we are seeing the cast back on the auditorium to face elimination.

"Now everyone," Chris cleared his throat. "Whoever has the most votes is going to be our… 20th placer for this season, and must take the exit via the Red Door of Failure. When was the last time I even said that?"

"Maybe like, five episodes ago." Godfrey commented randomly.

"...Yeah." Chris rolled his eyes.

Don came back in, holding a plate of marshmallows. He stood next to his co-hosts and stared at the remaining twenty contestants.

"Shouldn't you guys be doing the votes by now?"

"Oh… right. Yeah, almost forgot. What's a Total Drama elimination without voting?" Brea muttered under her breath.

"Alright then, so… Minor Team, go ahead and cast your votes on the voting podium." Blaineley ordered, and as soon as she said it, the teens from the Minor team began lining up.

VOTING CONFESSIONAL #8 - MINOR TEAM

Arreis: "He's a good friend and all, but I'm sorry Gabe. I know what you did was an accident but, someone has to go."

Colin: "Am I actually pitying Gabe right now? Sure he's obviously better than me since he's a veteran but it's not really his fault that Adala's gone."

Gabe: "I have to do something but… I guess I'm just gonna accept that I'm going home."

Gordon: "I… really don't want to vote out Gabe but… looks like there's no other way."

Pierre: He just sighed and looked away from the camera.

Robert: "Gabe, you're my best friend and all since Act I and I am going to miss you so much. I'm sorry for doing this."

Sami: "Well… we're really on the bottom line. We're gonna be losing two members. And if Gabe is eliminated, then… we don't have a Bass member…"

Sybil: "...Why can't we just not vote anyone off?"

Vanessa: "This just plain sucks." She sighed. "Well… at least that's one veteran down I guess."

Zack: "I don't even know what I should be thinking anymore."

"Well…" Brea gave off a rather… straight face upon reading the results. "Looks like this was an easy vote for you guys. It's like you've all talked with each other about this. Also, since the elimination isn't really surprising, I'm just gonna say it real quick. With ten votes, which is equivalent to the whole team including himself, our 20th placer of Total Drama Act II: Musical Power is no other than our Bass veteran… Gabe."

"Gabe, you can go ahead and make your way to the Red Door of Failure." Godfrey declared.

Gabe nodded in understanding towards his team as he rubbed his hands together. "Well guys, it's been a good run."

"Sucks to have you go." Robert sighed sadly as the two veterans shared a brotherly hug.

"Hey, at least we weren't eliminated together." Gabe added, prompting a chuckle from the two.

"Sorry for voting you out, Gabe." Sami apologized, but Gabe patted her head.

"It was all part of the plan. I'm responsible for Adala's injury so I might end up being a burden to you guys." Gabe looked down.

"You're not a burden. Hell, you did awesome on that film making challenge." Gordon said in an attempt to cheer him up.

"Yeah, there's that." Pierre added. "Well, at least you can at least take a break from this game for a while."

The other Minor team members went up to say their goodbyes. Both Arreis and Sybil gave him hugs while Zack and Golin gave high fives.

"Guess we'll see you soon." Vanessa said.

"Yeah, thanks guys for the good run! Hope to see you all soon." Gabe gave one final wave to the cast, making his way towards the Red Door of Failure.

As the Minor team went back on their podiums, May raised her hand.

"Yes?"

"Will there be a switch?" May asked. "You know, the one where we vote a member to switch off with another member of the opposing team?"

Chef gave a smirk at the question, prompting worried emotions from the cast. "The hosts and I will decide who switches."

Sami (Minor): "This just got real."

Ryder (Major): "Never in my entire life that I would think about the host making the switches."

After some moments of deciding amongst the hosts (plus Godfrey), they finally finished and turned to the cast.

"Majors," Blaineley turned towards the teens in the Major team. "The member moving down to Minor is going to be…"

...

...

"...Antoinette."

"Again!?" Antoinette widened her eyes. "Why me?"

"You're just the worst performer in the team in our eyes." Chris plainly stated.

Antoinette grumbled and murmured something that the camera couldn't pick up before marching off just a few meters in front of the Minor team with a cranky expression.

"Welcome." Zack commented.

"Shut up." Antoinette snarked, causing Zack to roll his eyes in annoyance.

Chef stared at both of them. "Anyway… moving from Minor to Major is…"

...

...

"...Arreis."

Arreis gave off a smirk of triumph, satisfied at the fact that she was going back to the Major team.

"Antoinette and Arreis, anything to say as you two move onto your new teams?" Godfrey asked them.

"How did you even get back?" Antoinette asked, still in shock.

"Oh it's a secret, honey." Arreis winked, causing Antoinette to fume slightly. The two girls shared one more angry glance towards each other before sauntering off to their new team podiums.

Godfrey also turned to Hali, Yves, and Jianne who were all standing off to the side. "Any words from you three?"

"Yeah." Hali cleared her throat. "Try not to cheat next time." She said, looking intently towards Team Minor, then at Jianne.

Hali (Mentor): "You know, if I were in their shoes, I'd rather redo everything last minute than just cheat and face the consequences. Or at least that's what everyone does."

"Listen, it's not my fault that I have to perform with them. An accident happened. Period." Jianne defended.

Yves sighed, but turned to the hosts. "Nothing else to say, thank you."

"Okay… And these are your teams for the next couple of episodes!" Chris declared, prompting the audience to give their applause as the screen faded to the outro.

Later, the crowd already left as the program had ended. Godfrey slouched himself on one of the judges' chairs.

"Whoo, what a day."

"You said it." Brea sighed. "We need a day off or something."

"Yeah, we should have the weekend off." Blaineley suggested with a huge smirk.

"And make the contestants and staff spend their weekend here doing whatever the hell they want?" Chris chuckled. "Sounds like a plan."

"So how about this weekend?" Don suggested.

Chef grinned. "Yeah, why not."

"Well you five do what you need to do as my job is done here for the day." Godfrey declared.

Brea widened her eyes in realization. "I almost forgot you were a guest."

Blaineley facepalmed, already annoyed by that second. "Can we just do the outro right now and get this over with before we carry on with slouching off?"

"Oh right." Don cleared his throat and faced the camera. "So… what will happen to team Minor now that they've technically suffered a double elimination and eliminated their best improviser and one of the veterans?"

"How many more injuries will we have this season?" Chris asked a rather shorter question compared to Don. "What other incidents are in store for us?"

"When will the other guests return?" Godfrey asked, but this caused crickets to chirp in the background. "Oh sorry."

"Will Jianne or Yves compete in Act III?" Brea asked as well.

"And how will everyone deal with their current problems and situations regarding each other?" Chef smirked.

Blaineley sighed unenthusiastically. "Find out next time on-"

"TOTAL DRAMA ACT II: MUSICAL POWER!"

End of episode.
